- Carmel (7/5): Despite the usual perks of this property, this particular stay wasn't as lovely as the previous ones - We have been to this property before. The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. We requested a particular room on booking and it was granted to us; something which we greatly appreciate. The breakfast is rather slow to be served especially when there are a lot of guests at the same time. The food is served fried when it could be grilled, which is a healthier option. Also, this time there were two irresponsible families with young children who let them run around in the corridor between the rooms screaming at the top of their voices. This happened on Saturday afternoon during siesta time and on Sunday morning art around 7.00am. The property would be a much better and relaxing place if it becomes adults only.

Türen zuschlagen und Kinder Geschrei! Frühstück eher einfach und am Wochenende zu wenig Personal. Mussten 15‘ auf einen Kaffee warten.

- Andrej (10/5): On a much higher level than rated - Rooms: The rooms are large and spacious, with a big bed, a desk, a TV, air conditioning, a sofa, and an ottoman (plastic). There is even a rocking chair in the room. In a small niche you’ll find a kettle, a bottle of water, and instant coffee and tea. Heating and cooling are provided by the AC unit. The bathroom is spacious, with a large shower. There is also a safe, an iron, a hairdryer, and even a personal scale (which I did not test). Very clean! Entry to the room is possible with a magnetic card, which—together with the instructions—waits for you at the reception desk. The reception is mostly unattended, everything is handled remotely. And it works well! Room drawbacks: Unfortunately, the bed is only 190 cm long, which is too short. The desk and the drawer unit are placed directly opposite the bed, which makes the passage narrow. They could easily have placed the desk and the drawer unit by the window, where there is plenty of space; the room would feel much more spacious. There is also internet available, but it is extremely slow: less than 5/1 Mbit UL/DL, barely enough to check e-mails, and video conferencing is not possible. Service: As mentioned, everything is handled via messaging or phone. They provide the code for the door lock, and all instructions and the magnetic card are available at reception. I needed a plug adapter, which they kindly prepared for me. Breakfast: Served in the neighbouring place, Giovanni’s Kitchen & Lounge. The instructions in the hotel are incorrect, as they mention a place called Da Battista, which apparently no longer exists. There was also the issue that the sign on the door said “closed”. Breakfast is nothing special: coffee, tea, yogurt, one type of ham and cheese, fruit, and they cook very good eggs (à la carte option). Very friendly service. Location: On San Gwan Battista Square, in front of the Church of St. John the Baptist. - bed too short (but comfortable otherwise) - veeeery slow internet - strange furniture layout, somewhat limiting the functionality of the room - magnetic card for the room door stopped working - breakfast could be richer and more diverse

They offered me a value pack of 25 euro which I did not opt for but they still did some balloons for us in the room and that was very nice of them! We also like the breakfast! - Virág (10/5): - Everything was great. The hotel itself is in a beautiful square almost next to a wonderful Dome. The staff was helpfuland kind, they made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was great, very nice selection of fresh food. My partner's faborite was the egg station, the omelette was phenomenal. All in all it was a pleasant stay in Xewkija, Gozo.

Location was amazing, right next to the main square. The checking process was made easy with thorough instructions. Not much to complain, I think the rooms need an update, such as a paint job and some appliances such as the mini-fridge needs replacing as it wasn't working properly but since we stayed just for 1 night, this wasn't a problem for us.
