• SANMAS (10/5): Séjour heureux en hauteur - L'appartement est splendide et tres propre avec balcon et vue incroyable. . Des attentions des propriétaires avec gateaux et eau. L emplacement permet de descendre rapidement dans la vieille ville et dans le quartier de la cathedrale. La remontee est sportive car tres pentue. J'ai pu me garer dans la rue, tres en pente mais c 'est Madere. Prévoir mugs pour les buveurs de thé comme moi serait un plus.

• Deborah (10/5): Lovely apartment with a great view! - Lovely spacious apartment with a stunning view. Well equipped and exceptionally clean. Only 15 mins walk to the old town. Jose was a great host even checking we knew there was a storm warning and giving us a lift to the airport. With a great view comes a very steep hill from Funchal centre back to the apartment. There is a bus but the walk gets easier with practice!

• Tamás (9/5): - We had a fantastic view to the port of Funchal from the balcony. The whole apartment is very well equipped, even the kitchen. The location is at a very steep street and there is no pedastrian walk on it, so it's kind of adventureous to get to the city center by foot. There is dog shelter in the near so we could hear barking quite often, but it was not so disturbing as the rooster at the neighboor. It crowed very loudly every day. The first night I could hardly sleep, after we closed the window and it was better. Probably we got used to it I guess. We could use a couple of candles on the balcony and we also missed an air fresher spray in the toilet.

• Karolina (10/5): - Pogled je super, prostran i čist apartman. Ima sve što vam je potrebno(jedna tableta za pranje veša, žica za sušiti veš, fen..). Skoro svaki dan smo isli do grada pjeske i nazad, za nazad je naravno strmo ali ništa šta ne možete. Dočekali su nas domaći keksi i bomboni, jako lijepa gesta.

• Ryan (9/5): Large comfortable apartment - Great value for a large, comfortable apartment. The only negative is also what is great about this location. It is high up above the city, giving you a great view, but it is also a crazy climb if you walk from the main center. We did this walk a couple of times, and then didn't want to do it again at the end of the day, so we did Uber Eats for dinner. There is also a grocery store not too far. You could always take a taxi or Uber though. No true dislikes.

Everything was well prepared, they even thought about bath and high chair details for our baby in addition to stroller! The view is stunning, you can enjoy your time in balcony very much. Owner is very informative and helpful. Kitchen has all the equipment you might need to cook if you are willing to. The location of the apartment is very good, it is located up on the hill and walking distance to center, if you have a car it is even easier. We really enjoyed our stay and willing to come back again! Nothing.

• Yufang (9/5): A good choice if you want to stay in Funchal - The owner Jose is very helpful. The property is very clean and close to the city center. There is water on the floor when one is taking a shower. I think it caused by the leaking of the drain. The drain of the bathroom sink is also slow.

• John (10/5): It was brilliant, great location and service. - The customer service was great. The manager was in contact via the website regularly. The person who met us at 1am in the morning sent a whats app before our flight with his contact details. Marcos was always helpful and quick to respond. We loved that we were staying in the old town with local residents and bakeries. The apartment was clean and well maintained.

They checked with me when is my arrival and they came to see me and to explain me about everything. They sent me recommends restaurants. Thank u so much! And.... the view from the balcony, wow wow and wow. OK so it's a little bit complicated location. In one side, it's beautiful location cause you are high and u can see everything. But from the other side, if u travel by walking it's a little bit tough to walk from down to up but I used Uber. If you are with a car you will not get a problem.

• Mate (10/5): Exceptional - Great view from the balcony. The apartment is in a really good location, and the parking on the street is free. Going to Funchal city center is a ~10min walk, although coming back one would have to climb a pretty steep hill. Luckily, Bolt takes you up to the apartment for about 3-4 euros. One extra bonus point for the fact that they have a stroller, so we didn't have to take ours on the plane for my little one.

It is about a ten minute walk downhill into the center of the town and is a little steep coming home. However, one can always get a taxi back up, if necessary. The best is an amazing view over the city from the balcony.

• Emma Dorothy (10/5): Excellent and spacious, with wonderful terrace - 3 bedroom apartment with ensuite. Fully equiped kitchen, including laundry area, and all very clean. Wonderful and confortable terrace with lounge area, righ next to the city's fortress. Towels, aminities and touristic Info were included, and also a lovely welcome drink. It's quite central, few minutes walking from downtown and sea avenue. Lots of restaurants around.

Very central, few walking steps from historical attractions. And it feels even bigger than it shows. Specially the backyard lounge. Happy with the owners and staff as they were always available to support. Gracious welcome drink and gift when checking in.
