• dustylin (8/5): A good hotel with convenient transport links. - This hotel was an excellent choice for our first trip to Bangkok. We were initially concerned that it would be remote from the sights and shopping in Bangkok but we later realised the benefits of being away from the busy Bangkok streets, traffic congestion and fumes. We used the regular complimentary boat transport from the Anatara hotel to the Sathorn Pier and skytrain ,and To the Icon Siam shopping centre. This was a much more leisurely way of travelling around Bangkok than using taxis. The view from the riverview bedroom , swimming pool and rooftop bars was fabulous especially at night. The only thing we missed was a lack of green space around the hotel but the sister hotel the Anatara was across the road via a covered walkway and we were able to sit in the grounds of it surrounded by plants and trees on our way to and from the boats . The Avani hotel is a comfortable hotel with clean rooms and facilities and pleasant staff.
• amsterdamFM (8/5): pool suprises - + free ferry, + breakfast options, loved the fresh passion fruit yoghurtand mango smoothie. + shopping center in building, bought a cap against sun and there even is a italian wine shop on second floor + after i noticed the outer rim of the infinity pool was disgustingly dirty, i told it to the life guard, who told it to a caretakes who came, who told it to the head of department who came and a then manager who came. All apparently had not seen the last months how dirty the outer rim of the infinity pool was, the place where you place your arms on the infinity rim, but also if you look over it tot the bottom, and the glass protection wall, like in manyhotels was super dirty. I was happy to see next day everything was clean exept the outside of the glass barrier, apparently they do not have a system yet to clean the outside of that wall. my advice as it is the one picture that draws people to this hotel to still do something with that as it is about the cleanliness of their main attraction. - a mistake with the roomservice bill was made, i had to discover it myself, after that it got corrected.

The facilities, cleanliness, and overall comfort are all at a very high standard. The location is great, and most of the staff were friendly and professional. This was my third stay, and overall the hotel continues to maintain a high level of quality. This was my third stay at the hotel, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. The check-in experience was disappointing. Although I clearly confirmed that I understood the policy and was comfortable using my debit card, the same explanation was repeated at least 5–6 times. At that point, it was no longer helpful but became unnecessary and frustrating. More importantly, the way it was communicated — especially the staff’s tone and facial expressions — made me feel as though I was not understanding something very basic. This came across as quite condescending and uncomfortable. In the end, just to avoid prolonging the situation, I switched to using my husband’s credit card for the deposit.

• Cristian (9/5): My go-to hotel in Bangkok - I’ve stayed at Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel multiple times now and it’s usually my go to when I’m in Bangkok. I like being a bit away from the Silom and Sathorn areas, and the river setting really makes it feel like you’re actually in Bangkok. Almost every room has a beautiful view over the river, which is a big part of the appeal for me. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and has nice Thai touches without feeling overdone. It also hits a really good price point for what you get. Breakfast is also very good and a great way to start the day. I’ll definitely keep coming back. Nothing to dislike

This situation felt very dishonest and unprofessional. A hotel of this standard should respect confirmed bookings and not try to charge extra for services that were already paid for. It is particularly disappointing because the hotel itself was very nice and the room was excellent. However, I find it unacceptable to attempt to take advantage of customers in this way. It was quite clear that the room had been available all along, as it is not possible to prepare a room in such a short time. It appears that the staff simply tried to charge me more and push me towards a more expensive option, such as a suite. Overall, this experience left a very bad impression, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled. The reservation was under the name of HUETE Benjamin.

Cleanliness: The room and common areas were not up to standard. I noticed visible dust, stains, and a lack of thorough cleaning. Staff: The service was not friendly. Interactions felt unwelcoming, and requests were met with little helpfulness or courtesy. Food: The quality of the food was disappointing — both taste and presentation fell short of expectations. Transportation: It was very difficult to get a taxi from this location, making it inconvenient to get around. I hope this helps others plan accordingly. I would not stay here again.
• Astrid (10/5): Traumhaft schön und Preis-Leistung 👍🏻 top - Dieses Hotel ist einfach überwältigend 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Die Ausstattung, der Komfort, die Mega Freundlichkeit, das gigantische Frühstück. Der Infinity Pool mit dem anliegenden Restaurant und dem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Ich würde sagen, besser geht es nicht. Ganz oben befindet sich noch eine Rooftop Bar und dort kann man mit einem leckeren Cocktail den Sonnenuntergang 🌆 genießen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Flussblick und Stadt ( Skyline), Stockwerk 20, Zimmer 2020….. für uns ein Traum 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Es gibt NICHTS auszusetzen.

• Lordnobbs (10/5): Wonderful Hotel With The Best Breakfast. - Wonderful hotel, with immaculate rooms and a magnificent view from the bedroom window. Extremely quiet and breakfast is the best we've experienced in any hotel.
• Warawut2026 (2/5): Smell and reek of the pipe - The toilet reeks of human waste and there is no balcony to release the smell so it was unbearable and couldn’t sleep

Nous sommes arrivés à 7h30 après une nuit dans le train ; nous avons été accueilli par William qui a été très arrangeant et nous a permis un early Check in dès que possible ! Un véritable plaisir !! Nous avons pu bénéficier de la piscine de bon matin qui est très agréable. La chambre est également très confortable, j adore le design !!
• Emz_Maree (6/5): Average stay - After staying in some pretty nice places, I give this hotel a 3/5. The room is clean and spacious and the view is amazing… but the prices for cocktails and food are too high, considering more luxury hotels have cheaper menu options in surrounding areas. The Bfast is crammed with people, the pool closes at 7pm and there are not alot sunbeds… it’s “I would be if I could be kind of place”… having some palm trees or foliage around the rooftop would make a world of difference, no ambience… this hotel attracts a different type of crowd. I would not stay here again, there are many more options in the same price range.

• kullavootc (10/5): My takes on my staycation. - Dont really know what to fault about really to be honest. The experience has been nothing short of perfection. Spacious room with wonderful riverview. The staffs (K.Sara and K.Nut) were very polite and helpful, assisting with my many questions, from hotel facilities to how to go on boat trip to Wat Arun. Perfect choice for Songkran staycation.
• EvaD-Campbell (10/5): Amazing Avani+ - We stayed in the 3 bedroom River View Suite on the 12th floor for 3 nights. The hotel was amazing: - Fabulous river views of the city from the huge windows - The rooms were spacious, super clean and well appointed. I really loved that we had a laundry room and washing machine which meant going home with hardly any laundry to do - The breakfast buffet was great and room service service and dinner in the evening in the restaurant was excellent - The free boat shuttle made it very easy for us to have a great sightseeing day out. - Fantastic, polite, helpful and efficient service from all the staff we encountered Don’t hesitate to to book this hotel. I spent a lot of time looking at similarly priced hotels in Bangkok before we booked the Avani+ and I am so glad we did

• 11_Ramo_11 (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel, amazing view (we were at the 19th floor). Very friendly staff, clean facilities, the bed was very comfortable, the gym was fantastic (with, again, an amazing view), great breakfast, and overall fantastic experience. The only comment is that it's not really walkable to any place, you will need to always use some form of transportation, but it isn't too far from anything, so this wasn't a big issue.

• Leander (10/5): Traumhaftes Hotel mit super Service. - Sehr gute Lage am Fluss, exzellentes Frühstück und Pool auf dem Dach, Sicht aus dem Raum im 17 Stock war wundervoll. Anreise gestaltet sich etwas schwierig mit der Bahn, daher am besten mit einen Grab kommen. Tagsüber Ausflüge über Boot sehr einfach zu gestalten. Bestes Pad Thai in meinem Ganzen Urlaub dort gegessen, aber auch das teuerste... Jeden Cent aber definitiv Wert. Kofferservice hat unsere Koffer 30 Minuten behalten, daher würde ich empfehlen diese einfach direkt mitzunehmen, bei Abreise stehen auch alle mit Ihren Koffern in der Lobby, daher haben wir das ganze nicht so ganz verstanden... Wir kamen auch erst um 20 Uhr an, da sollte das mit den Koffern eigentlich schneller gehen.

• Christina (10/5): - We arrived after midnight and we were checked in and our bags were taken to our room. 24 hour room service was provided so we could eat and drink and get some sleep. Breakfast was great too We would stay there again.

Rooftop pool was stunning, another great view. Laundry service was extremely expensive. Would not recommend to use it unless very urgent.

Le service à l'accueil, ainsi qu'au roofbar. J'ai eu l'impression d'être traitée comme un numéro et pas une personne humaine. Quel dommage, pour un hotel appartement au groupe Avani, je suis déçue.

Wasn’t a fan of the disabled bathroom. View from room was a little spoiled by view of dirty ledge - a higher room would have eliminated this problem.

Zimmer mit tollen Ausblick und sehr sauber! Die Lage ist nicht wirklich zentral, allerdings bei den niedrigen Taxi Preisen kein Problem

The hotel is also directly connected to Riverside Plaza, which made shopping and dining very easy and enjoyable. We travelled to Asia to celebrate birthdays, and the hotel made it extra special for us. Our room was kindly upgraded, and the team surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more memorable. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality; we were very happy with our stay and would definitely return! Nothing
