Guest Reviews
- Kyaw (8/5): - Hotel rooms are big. Bed is comfortable. Toilets and shower area need thorough cleaning for moulds and water marks.
- I-Chun (8/5): Good for relaxation in the cooler climes - Good if for relaxation or on a honeymoon. Other than a hour long horse cart ride visiting a few old colonial buildings around the small town, a nice Park with various trees and flowers, a golf course nearby and a couple of restaurants around the lake, very little other activities or ancient monuments. Some coffee plantations & vineyards in the area.
- barbara (6/5): Generally ok - I liked that it is located with in walking distance to the gardens. But..all else was meh. I booked the room because it had a fireplace which turned out out to be for decoration only. I was freezing cold all night...the heater did nothing to warm the room. The bath towels were worn out threads. The bathroom was run down. All else just ok.. Def not worth the money.
- Felix (8/5): Nice mid-range hotel - It was cold and rainy when we were there, so it didn't really make the hotel any justice I think. The bungalows are nice, and the hotel grounds are quite nice too. The breakfast was a standard buffet, which could be improved. The area is nice and easy to walk to some good restaurants.
- Gert (8/5): - Great Hotel. Nice style although in some aspects a bit worn down. Wifi is slow.
- Fiona (8/5): Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds but ... - This is a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly however the dining area was very cold in the mornings and evenings. There was no heating even though there was a fire place. Also the swimming pool, which was a good size, was unheated which was a pity.
- Paranya (8/5): Clean - Nice clean resort with friendly staff reasonably priced food menu
- Shankar (10/5): Great Hotel - The location is excellent and the individual cottages are very nice. The staff and restaurant are also very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel bath room floor tiles looks old & the joints between tiles need to clean nicely.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect location for botannical gardens - I spent 6 days at the hotel as an escape from the heat and craziness of Yangon during the new year festival. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. The assistant manager was especially courteous and offered to take me on a personal tour when he was worried I was spending too much time in my room!! The hotel is a collection of bungalows with very attractive flowerbeds. Five minutes walk from the beautiful botanical gardens. Already booked my next stay! Don't miss the flower festival in December.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Family Vacation - There was a power outage around town when we checked in and the generator took a couple of hours to warm up. As a result, we were unable to use the indoor pool, electronics such as tv, microwave + etc, and we were unable to connect to wifi. We enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink and buffet breakfast. Thanks
