Guest Reviews
- Catalina (10/5): Gorgeous stay very close to the old center - The place is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the inner courtyard were you can hang out, have a meal/drink, or read. Really loved the decor, authentic and fitting for the area, but with really good amenities. I can also wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant, the massage service and the mini wool wares boutique on the premises. Great value, super friendly and accommodating staff, all absolutely lovely. Would happily stay here again anytime! Nothing whatsoever to complain about

- Ronald (10/5): Incredible hotel. Highly recommended, would book again without doubt. - Exceptional hotel. Beautiful property and amazing staff. And low-key their food was better than at highly restaurants in the city.
- 2de82ecb75d7719b31920fbbd3c92e93 (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, had everything we needed and on a great location! - Lovely layout and rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant, washing service was handy and great location! Slightly noisy in the mornings as we were on level one of the courtyard.
- 044c06f02261735a9a5675b71c04d106 (10/5): A beautiful cozy hotel in an excellent location - The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and very fitting with the overall look and feel of the city. The inner courtyard is a gem and lovely to hang around in and relax with a book and a cup of tea. Staff was super welcoming and we liked the cozy little restaurant so much that we had breakfast there every day, and evening tea/drinks several times. We also booked massages and had a wonderful experience with those as well. Oh, and every major attraction is well within walking distance. All in all, one of the best and prettiest hotels we've stayed in, and if I were in Cusco again I would look no further. Nothing whatsoever to complain about

- Paula (8/5): -
- Minna (8/5): Great stay for the value! - Location, room, good value for money and great cause as attached to charity Room a little cold even with the radiator on.
- Charles (10/5): - The staff was amazingly friendly and polite. The cafe' was very nice and the food, coffee and service was top-notch. Perfect stay!
- Matthew (2/5): Didn't get room and rate booked for 4 people! Charged 40% more for accommodations for 4 people. - Communication prior to check in was good. Offered a different room upon check in and was charged 40% more than what was booked for 4 people. Don't feel it was fair to do this. should have just given me the room we booked. Location was too high which caused us to get sick.
- Matthew (4/5): disappointing that was upsold for different room than booked and not clear it was significantly more - communication via booking.com site was good I booked a room for 4 adults/quad room on booking.com at a rate. Then I asked to add another night on my reservation. Hotel confirmed the change at the rate booked for the first night days before checking in. Then upon check in they gave 2 double rooms and charged 40 percent more for the stay. Not sure why they didn't just provide the room booked upon check in.
- Mike (9/5): Lovely comfortable old Spanish property with great feel, nice staff, close to main square and attractions. - Good facilities and location in the old part of town, 5 minute stroll to central square and many attractions, lovely old property with a lovely central courtyard. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner, even for vegetarians. Staff were very helpful. Up to 15 minute wait for hot water for shower (get up, turn water on, set timer, go back to bed) and several power outlets were damaged, possibly unsafe. Those over 190cm - watch your head on stairways and entering rooms - but you expect this in very old structures.
- Ton (10/5): - Lekker schoon en een fantastische locatie
- Joslyn (9/5): Very good room, location and value. Love the painted murals on the walls. - Food was good, although I ordered linguine with chicken but it wasn’t chicken-seemed like guinea pig with no explanation. It was fine.
- Bernd (10/5): - Calm and peaceful courtyard. Nice café.

- Paulo Fernando (5/5): - Somente a localização.
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect as a base in the days before and after our Macchu Piccu trek. - Room was lovely and cosy, we were grateful for the heater at night. The beds were comfortable with the perfect amount of bedding, and extra if we needed it. The bathroom was simple but functional, the drainage is a little slow but it didn't bother us. The hotel is also in a fantastic area, with plenty around convenience wise and only a short walk into some of the main cultural areas of Cusco. Nil.
- Tom (9/5): Great stay in Cusco for a group of 5 - My group of 5 stayed at Ninos Hotel Meloc on two separate visits - before and after our trip to Machu Picchu. The hotel is quaint and cute with a beautiful courtyard and nice cafetin for coffee, tea or meals - the smoothies and milkshakes are delicious! (The dining menu is on n both Spanish and English). The building is a little old and the wooden floors creak but my family felt that just added to the charm of the hotel. The beds are comfortable but are really better suited for one person at a time. Sometimes you had to wait ~5 minutes for the hot water to heat up in the shower, but then the shower was very hot and quite enjoyable. The hotel is staffed with young employees that are very welcoming, helpful & friendly and quite fluent in English. The hotel is located a short 10-minute walk from the downtown / center of Cusco. And my family really appreciated the fact that the hotel supports local children of Cusco The building is a little old and the wooden floors creak but my family felt that just added to the charm of the hotel. The beds are comfortable but are really better suited for one person at a time. Sometimes you had to wait ~5 minutes for the hot water to heat up in the shower, but then the shower was very hot and quite enjoyable.
- Lauren (9/5): -
- Juliet (9/5): - Great location, charming hotel and friendly staff. Our room was very large and suited 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was very clean and comfortable. The double bed was a little small for us and the pillows were not comfortable but the linen was lovely.
- Guest (7/5): Okay but better places in Arequipa - Location
Cosy building
Local people were friendly Only welcome coca tea, no water cooker or tea in room or hotel, only if you pay!
We didn’t get any info about the hotel
Breakfast not included
Bed was not so good
Room was not dark while sleeping
- Catherine (9/5): - Very cozy rooms with beautiful paintings everywhere. Bright sunny courtyard. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and ambiance were awesome so we ate there quite a bit We had great massages in the hotel. This place is great value for money. We highly recommend.
- Jean (8/5): -
- Kristopher (9/5): Comfortable and homely with a little taste of old Cusco. Perfectly located for exploring and tours. - Loved the old building and courtyard our room overlooked. The artwork that decorates the place is beautiful. Staff were most helpful during our stay and secure luggage storage when we spent some time away on tours was most convenient.
- LILIIA (10/5): -
- Shane (9/5): - Charming hotel with spacious rooms and comfy beds. Rooms get a little cold at night as it's an old building but the hotel provides a plug in heater for each one. Very peaceful and quiet.
- Alice (9/5): -
- Eva (9/5): -
- carla (9/5): -
- Evelyne (9/5): Beautiful building - Exceptional building, beautifully kept and very artistic. Very happy to have stayed in this wonderful old building. The breakfast stood out in having home baked sourdough bread, delicious. Highly recommend. Staff is super nice. Nothing.
- Mary (10/5): Great place to stay in Cusco. - The hotel is located near the main part of town without being in it, so it’s quiet and peaceful to return to. There are cute cafes and markets nearby.
The restaurant at the hotel is delicious. My room was comfortable. The staff is excellent. I would stay there again.

- Paula (8/5): - A decoração do hotel é linda!
- Matthew (9/5): Very genuine and pleasant place to stay - Lovely building and staff, amazing breakfast (extra charge but reasonable), shared bathroom never busy when I was there. Heaters in rooms. Super low doorways so watch your head if over 5'10 :)
- Dean (7/5): Great location in a fascinating historical city but in room wifi needs improvement if possible. - You can’t expect too much from a small establishment and it’s a very reasonable offering. I will admit that o the third morning I was looking for something different though. But no complaints at all. Wifi didn’t work in my room. It would only work when standing in the doorway or a little outside my room. It’s a very charming old building with very very thick walls and the doors are equally impenetrable for a wifi signal. Great if there is an Inca siege happening but not so good for wifi. Note that Apps don’t work very well under the 3G network in Peru so wifi is important.
- ILIO (8/5): - beautifully restored casona, thoughtfully converted to host several rooms, offering an authentic taste of colonial-era charm. Breakfast isn't included, but there's a recommended coffee spot nearby worth visiting. The rooms are well-equipped with all essentials, except for a hair dryer, which is available upon request at reception.
- Nadine (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Lori (8/5): Good location & clean - The breakfast choices were sufficient.
The rooms are clean and the hotel has a bit of character with the central courtyard.
Well located and within walking distance of town centre.
- Roisin (10/5): - WiFi connection could be better
- Gabrielle (8/5): -
- Markus (9/5): -
- Rebecca (9/5): Quiet Spot - Cute hotel, nice beds and shower. Very comfortable. Close enough to walk to the main square but further out that I didnt hear any of the cars and people in the evening.
- Rosy (10/5): Excellent, would 100% recommend. - Lovely old property, full of character. Love the ethos behind the charity that the hotel is connected with.
Lovely staff, and an excellent cafe onsite, tasty food, and lots of coca tea which is needed!
- Jean (10/5): -
- Jacqui (8/5): Central, clean and comfortable. - Great central location. We had a quadruple room so the whole family could stay in one room. Overall a great stay before and after the Inca Trail. The showers weren’t the best (too cold), but I understand it is an old property / old plumbing.
- Wender (7/5): - Atendimento e equipe muito boa. Sinal de Wi-Fi e água quente no quarto
- Sheena (10/5): Great location, oozing style, friendly staff and good value for money. - Its location, the historical building, eclectic designer touches. The glorious central courtyard. Friendly & helpful staff. Lovely cafe. Great luggage storage facilities too. Creaky floorboards & Lack of Soundproofing mean there is potential for guests to distrurb each other.
- Rachel (4/5): -

- Heidi (7/5): Nice but big difference in rooms - Great location, nice building, nicely decorated rooms. There is a big difference between the room.
The upper room was spacious and had windows, the room below was small, did not have a window, was located between bathroom and quarter for staff with a lot of noise early in the morning and at night from room above.
- Anne (10/5): Quiet oasis near the heat f Cusco - Beautifully decorated hotel with central courtyard and own restaurant/cafe. Proceeds go to support street children in Cusco. Staff were really helpful throughout our stays. Nothing
- Anna (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. Nice central courtyard and restaurant. We enjoyed our stay here and later at Ninos Hotel Fierro. The double bed was a bit small.
- Ian (8/5): would use again - the shower and room were excellent, the staff helpful and the location felt very safe the noise from building work was a little annoying
