• Julian (9/5): - Every time we ate at the restaurant and ate anything fried we felt sick afterwards. Was the oil reused for days on end? The food and restaurant need a serious upgrade. Loved the oatmeal, though.

• Gretchen (8/5): Great place to stay to get to know Canyon de Chelly. - The location was perfect for visiting Canyon de Chelly. The rooms and grounds were quite comfortable- very relaxed. Staff were always ready to help and friendly. It was nice to have the community eating in the lodge restaurant too. It was a very dog friendly place but also clean! Food for dinner was only edible. Between the two of us we can't think of any other negative- we had a good time.

• Elaine (9/5): A great place to stay, right next to Canyon de Chelly - This is a nice place, well run and with a friendly staff. We took advantage of their cafeteria for both dinner and breakfast. The prices were good and the food was tasty.

• Linda and Hubert (10/5): The Perfect Place to stay for a trip to Canyon de Chelly - The Thunderbird Lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting Canyon de Chelly! We didn't realize it when booking, but it is INSIDE of the National Monument. You can book a drive into the canyon with a Navajo guide and small group of tourists spontaneously at the desk in the gift shop. The tour is a bit expensive, but so worth it!!!! The room was great; the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our Navajo Taco in the lodge restaurant: delicious and filling! All was good!
• Andrei (10/5): Memorable stay - Location is awesome, the room was very spacious and quiet, a very comfortable bed. Has a rustic decor. The stay was nice and memorable. It is on a pricier side, on par with Hampton Inn and similar. Breakfast is extra.

• M. Kapoor (10/5): - Tolles TV Programm und toller TV. Die Cafeteria war super, mit Speisen bis 21 Uhr, Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen mit vielen Variationen. Gepflegte Hotelanlage. Jeeptouren waren möhlich, ganztages Tour, 4 Stunden Tour und eine Sunset Tour. Kleine Toilette, sehr klein!!

• stephen (9/5): Well worth the cost of staying here. - Everything was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Meals were not included with the room, but they were pretty good and breakfast was cooked to order. The room was very clean and comfortable. A big plus was there was plenty of hot water for a very nice shower. A coupon for breakfast would have been nice, but we were okay with it not being included.

• Theresa (8/5): Great value and convenient to Canyon de Chelly. - The property is right at the entrance to Canyon de Chelly Although convenient, I do not recommend the restaurant/cafeteria.
• Josephine (9/5): - The lodge was charming and well placed next to the Rim Road for Canyon De Chelley and they were also near the entrance to the canyon itself. The food was really good at the lodge as well. We had a room with 2 queen beds, but one of the beds had been damaged prior to our arrival and actually collapsed on off of it's legs. Fortunately we were only using it for staging.

• Laurence (8/5): Decent place to stay at canyon de Chelly. - The building color matched the canyon. The bed was comfortable. Room was attractive and clean. Blanket was weird mesh like. Location was great. Small bathroom. The Heat and ac unit was very loud and didn't work well. The restaurant next door was not good.

• Marek (10/5): Schönes Hotel mit exzellenter Lage und Atmosphäre. - Das Hotel hat eine Perfekte Lage, schöne große Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer. Der wunderschöne Canyon de Chelly liegt gleich in der Nähe. Die Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind nur paar Meilen entfernt. Vielen Dank Es hat alles gepasst

• HACA (7/5): Redelijk hotel voor 1 nacht. - Personeel aan de incheckbalie was zeer vriendelijk. Het bed was goed. Hotel ligt op prachtig rustige plek aan het begin van Canyon de Chelly. Hinderlijk storend gebrom wat niet vanuit onze kamer kwam. Bleek uit een technische ruimte te komen die achter de kamer lag. Hotelkamers , badkamer en restaurant hebben wel een update nodig.
• JL & Cindy Villiot (10/5): Great location if visiting National Monument de Chelly, allow yourselves at least two days. - The location was superb, (just a short quick drive to National Monument de Chelly Park) traveling with a pet, there was plenty of open space to walk your pet. The staff was more than acomodating and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. Not many restaurants in area, so be prepared . The beds were very comfortable

• Amber (10/5): I met really nice people here! Really cool aesthetic! - Great size property for those of us needing space for our pet! I also love the authenticity of the location, and was grateful for an onsite washer and dryer. The beds were really firm, bedding not warm and soft.

Given the lodge's location close to the canyon and away from the town, it was simpler to use their kitchen. Fry bread appeared often in offerings. Can't recall anything I didn't like.

Frühstück war nicht inkludiert, aber der Denny's in Chinle ist schnell zu erreichen und bietet den ganzen Tag über gutes Essen. Die angebotene Truck-Tour durch den Canyon war hervorragend. Das Badezimmer war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.
• Paul (10/5): A comfortable stay in a wonderful corner of the world. - The accommodation were comfortable. The internet connection was excellent and easy to connect. It was nice having a restaurant nearby. The proximity to the canyon and to the welcome center was the best part! Housekeeping coming by at 9 AM was a bit early for us. We were, unfortunately, missing the "do not disturb" tag, and didn't get around to checking with the office for one. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

• Ralph (6/5): Disappointing. - Location was fine. No problem with the room. There is a cafe on site which for something to eat in the evening was pretty grim. So for breakfast we drove down to Denny's. We were disappointed in this hotel having had it recommended.
