Guest Reviews
- Goodwin (10/5): - Staff was amazing. Allowed for early check in and late check out. The pool was lovely!
- MACAULAY (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): Stay to Visit Family - Very close to Point Edward, and all the other amenities in Sarnia. Great beds and pillows. Quiet room. Great shower. Jay was particularly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Always smiling Nothing
- Coraline (10/5): Très chouette hotel - Bon accueil, propre, bien équipé, petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Grande chambre familiale. Je recommande vivement
- Mike (7/5): -
- kelly (10/5): Enjoyed a great vacation at a great location. - Best hotel breakfast.
- Anna (9/5): We would definitely return and stay again. - The room was clean and well appointed. The value was good for the price. The location was perfect for what we were doing in town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A few things made it slightly less desirable. I do not like that Hampton Inn hotels don't have a standard bathroom door. The lack of privacy with the sliding door with gaps and no lock is very uncomfortable. Also we were surprised that the breakfast is only available until 9am. 10am would be better.
- Casey (8/5): Great hotel for a stop over - The beds were so comfortable. Everyone talked about them for days. The breakfast had something for everyone, it was very clean and the lady running it was helpful and always cleaning! The kids loved the pool. The location and the noise of the trucks backed up at the boarder made for a hard sleep in the rooms facing the duty side of the hotel.
- R (9/5): Great stay with exceptional service - Jay and Juanita were exceptional with help and assistance. The room was decent on the top floor. Great view of the bridge. We stayed here for convenience dropping our child off the next morning for school. The only thing that could have been better was the selection for breakfast and our a/c was kind of loud
- Lorraine (7/5): -
- Jasmeet (7/5): - Food is good.rooms also comfortable. Swimming pool was too small..must be separate for kids.
- Cyrus (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Quiet Hotel - no noise at night. - The breakfast was good. Coffee great. Property nice. Well I did not like the barn door on the bathroom. Felt this was not private enough. Cupboard for clothes was very small.
They should have used an air freshner in the room. It smelled of dirty socks.
- Rock (10/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Affordable hotel accommodations. - The breakfast was delicious and they had a great selection of hot, cold, and baked good options.
The room was clean, and smelled of fresh clean linens, and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The staff that I spoke with were all very friendly, and helpful.
The design of the hotel was very nice and modern and the colors they chose gave a welcoming sense.
Overall its a great hotel, it's not too expensive, they offer some good amenities, and I'd definitely recommend anyone who needs to get a hotel to definitely check Hampton Inn out. I liked everything about the hotel.
- Thomas (10/5): - 10/10 - - very kind and helpful staff at all times of day/night -nothing

The breakfast was a great extra too. Cannot suggest anything
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Melanie (5/5): - Close to where' we needed to be. Dust in lounge area at breakfast. Every time we opened the mini fridge it smelled like pot. My allergies were very bad after staying in the room. They cleared within an hour of leaving the hotel.
- Kelly (9/5): Would stay here again and recommend it. - Clean and well taken care of. Location was great. Good morning breakfast. Nothing.
- Ricardo (9/5): Good place fair price - Fair price for the structure. Nothing that I didn't like.
- PAULA (7/5): -
- Joseph (9/5): - Wish i knew there was a beach to walk to

- Mike (10/5): Excellent Location - Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast. Close to Canatara Park. It would be nice if complimentary water bottles were supplied. Other Hamptons we have stayed at do.
- Nectarios (10/5): - My room got charged for water, but other than that Ok.
- Roy (10/5): - great

- Jimmy (10/5): - The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I received text messages each day as a way to communicate with front desk for any needs. Super convenient. The rooms were nice and clean. I love this hotel and will stay here next time I am in town.
- Jean (8/5): - The showers need a redo - at least get the grout clean. The elevators went out, but that just happens and the staff responded well.
- Brenda (10/5): - Everything was top notch.
The room and service was excellent. I give you 5 *****
- Amanda (10/5): - Very clean fresh quiet
- Michelle (10/5): - We arrived for a very late check in - the middle of the night - and our room was still available. Very convenient location right over the border. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, and they had a free breakfast in the morning.
- Steve (4/5): - Great location. Comfortable bed.
Elevator down 3 times in 1 day...everyone including elderly had to walk stairs from higher floors.
Tired condition...loose tiles in bath. Minimal towels and pillows. Could go on but you get the drift.....
- Amy (8/5): - All staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent and coffee okay. Room appeared to be clean but we did find things on carpet not from us, and wash clothes from previous guest over the curtain rod in the shower. Bathroom was clean outside of the wash clothes but they were over the current rod, not a place many would look. Elevators were down in the evening for an hour or so but we were only on floor 3 so stairs were no problem. People on the 6th floor or with mobility issues would’ve been inconvenienced. Overall, I would stay here again.
- Steve (10/5): - The staff were excellent
- Alisa (10/5): - The staff and service are the best part. I will definetly be back
- Robert (10/5): - the Guest Services Manager, was particularly helpful. She helped us out with two tricky problems. She is just wonderful.
- Andrea (8/5): - Great stay. Clean and comfortable
- Fadi (10/5): Good stay - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The highlight was the excellent service, especially from Juanita at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out.
- Kathryn (10/5): - I had a comfortable stay. It was only 1 night but it was nice. Quick to get on the 402 and bridge to the US. Good breakfast options. Clean and had great amenities. I'd stay again.
- Dianne (10/5): Excellent stay! - It was very clean and quiet Everything was good
- Fraser (8/5): n/a - n/a n/a

- Patricio (10/5): - Very easy
- MARY (10/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): - Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great.
Disappointed that I couldn't get internet service.
- audrey (10/5): - Very clean, quiet & friendly front desk.
- Jolene (2/5): - Staff was friendly at check in and check out Was given an invoice at check out of a certain price. When I return home and looked at the charges to my credit card they were way more then what was printed on the invoice.
- Susan (10/5): - Clean and quiet.
- Mitra (4/5): - Hampton is cutting corners on its facility and service. The shower did not have a tub, door, or curtail. Just a shower on one side of the bathroom, they have replaced doors with sliding doors that are clunky and leave an inch open on each side.
The breakfast is awful. 5 day old bagels, white bread, and oranges as big as a walnut. NEVER AGAIN Will I stay in Hampton. It used to be much nicer.
- K (10/5): - The hotel and pool were nice and clean. It was close to the water, the mall, parks and various restaurants. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. Overall a nice place to stay.
- Michael (10/5): - Central location. Nice room. Enjoyed the included breakfast.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bedbugs, don’t stay here. - I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was infested with bedbugs, and I couldn’t sleep the entire night because of them. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel. I strongly advise others not to stay here.
- Laura-Lee (8/5): - Great staff and breakfast.
- Michael (10/5): - Comfortable clean excellent stay
- Martine (10/5): - Very friendly staff
- Diane (6/5): - AC kept us awake the noise significant.
- Ghassan (10/5): -
- Shyren (6/5): - *
- sharon (10/5): - excellent
- sharon (10/5): - excellent
- Shelia (10/5): - Thank you so much for having such beautiful bathrooms that accommodate senior citizens! It is the first time that I’ve found a hotel that has upgraded its facilities the way this Hampton has. I will be back soon. Breakfast was also great. S. Ryan
- Blair (4/5): - No top sheet on bed or shampoo in the shower.
- pennystoreylaw (10/5): Great place to stay - Hotel is in a good location, was very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast had lots of choices and plentiful, the girls taking care of breakfast did an awesome job keeping food filled and tables cleaned, I would definitely recommend this hotel
- Hyunjung (10/5): -
- Lara Angela (4/5): - Our door was broken and it makes a loud noise when you close it… and the breakfast is terrible.. not much choices. We expected a little more decent and not a watery scrambled eggs.
I dont think we will book again unless they will improve it and give us discounts
- lwrgriffin (10/5): Seniors traveling with adult son. One hearing impaired, one with a walker and we give this hotel six thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍😎 - Clean, comfortable, sufficient Handicap Parking, and nice little touch’s. Hilton sends reminder/confirmation a day before.Contactless check in worked flawlessly. Bathroom had a nice after build plug in night light in the bathroom! Smart as we usually have to leave the bathroom light on and partially close the door. Lower stepping tub/shower with a perfectly placed grab bar . (And this was a regular room handicap accessible. ). We arrived after 10 hours on the road for a one night stay over to break up a long drive. The two women at the desk, Heena and Tanveer were just as the best hospitality staff should be. Warm smiles and even though I had pre-checked in, I decided to get a couple room card keys. About 15 minutes after settling into to what seemed a really nice clean room, my wife who was the third to use the bathroom said, the toilet would not flush. I thought, oh boy! I knew we would be taken care of but didn’t really want to move to a new room. I called the front desk and Heena said “I will be up in five minutes “ I didn’t time her but it was not any longer than she had said. She lifted the top of the toilet tank and looked in, she didn’t adjust or fix anything. She pushed the handle as normal and it flushed. She explained that the small tank of flushed two times in quick succession would be slow to fill up, but that it always would. Made sense, she was right and I didn’t feel embarrassed for asking. About an hour later, we had a take out dinner and the restaurant didn’t include utensils. I thought, I doubt the font desk will have plasticware. I asked Tanveer this time, she said yes, of course, what do you need and how many.
If I had one full disclosure possible criticism, my wife and adult who wanted the heat on even though the room temp was good , had me turn it up for a few minutes to 80 degrees. She said the unit was making a noise. Having bad ears I didn’t hear anything until I went over close to it. The unit was a newer LG and while it had a slight noise, it did not sound like a mechanical defect just something probably related to the particular model. At any rate when I turned the temperature back down to 75 , my wife had no more complaints.
I like Hampton Inns, and know good staff cannot make up for a bad hotel or vice versus. I would 100% recommendation this hotel and hope Heena and Tanveer get acknowledged by the owners.
- Eve (8/5): - The hotel is so conveniently located if you're traveling between Canadá and the US as one can see how busy the car lines are. You can walk to the marina and park to look around. Unfortunately, there are only 2 or 3 restaurants.
- Patricio (10/5): - Great and easy spot!
- Chantell (6/5): - Great location near the river, fun restaurants and the bridge.
The day and evening staff were kind and helpful. The pool was terrible. The water was cloudy and had bits of rubbish floating through it. The deck was terribly dirty, also with rubbish lying on it. The space smelled terrible.
While breakfast was tasty, the options were very limited and the turn over from empty serving dishes to refills were slow.
- Debra (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean.
- Ryan (10/5): - Super comfortable after a day of travel. Thank you!
