- Heather (8/5): - The staff was amazing. Clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Smoke alarms went off in hallway only and not in our rooms. Was told only way the room alarms went off is if the smoke was in our rooms being on the third floor if the smoke had reached our room it could be too late to get to safety. Our room phone also didnt work to call the front desk.

The pool and hot tub were fantastic since we had the littles. - I originally requested a second floor room but ours ended up being on the first floor which was significant for us because we were only two doors away from the swimming pool and other amenities. There also was a fire alarm that went off throughout the hotel on Sunday morning around 12:30 am and being that we were also two doors away from the exit was substantial too being that we had little ones with us. We had to hold the toilet handle down each time to get it to flush in our room so that was an annoyance. Our room wasn’t real clean, the carpet still had crumbs left over from the previous guests. There were several hairballs in the pool but the front desk did send maintenance to clean it out right away, so that was a plus.

- Yuji (10/5): Give these people your money. - Cleanliness was a factor when booking and our experience was good consistent with other reviews. Housekeeping staff clearly take pride in their work. Every single staff member was above and beyond friendly and attentive. The facilities were nice with several little amenities you wouldn’t necessarily expect. Just as examples my girl appreciated the ceiling fan in the bedroom and they had a complimentary disposable razor behind the desk which was nice since I forgot mine. The breakfast tacos were not oversold in other reviews. So good. All at a fair price for the value.

- Bobbi (10/5): Don’t wanna leave ! - Everything was clean and safe. The staff (specifically Alison and the morning manager (i can’t remember her name i was so tired!) were so kind and helpful. Super friendly and made me change my one night stay into a two night stay. The girl one the second day at the lobby desk was so sweet to my dog and to me as well. Probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had.

- Lisa (8/5): - The hotel was decent, but it could use some updates. Our room could have been cleaner; it had a moldy smell, and it was apparent that the beds had not been changed. We found hairs in one bed and red stains in the other. However, the staff was very accommodating and addressed all of our concerns. The parking was excellent.

- Tameka (10/5): - Everything was great with the room. There was an awful smell in the lobby area and lots of fans like they had some type of water damage. This is still a wonderful place to stay. I will definitely continue to choose Homewood Suites as my home away from home.
- Abigail (6/5): - This was the last stop on our trip and the most expensive. My expectations were higher due to the price tag. Check in was quick but I was the 2nd person in line at 8pm, a couple were already waiting in front of me. It must have been a couple of minutes b/c they were getting antsy, looking around for someone. Our room was nice at first glance. There was tape on both headboards and chunks taken out of one of the headboards. The corner bead was starting to become exposed along one corner. About an inch from the ceiling, it looked like a string had been pulled from underneath the paint all the way along the top leaving the drywall unfinished looking or even old. The grout in the shower was very discolored from just years of use. When we returned from supper, the lobby smelled horribly of sewage. We took the stairs, it definitely went up to the third floor but seemed better in our room. By the time we were getting into bed, we could smell it in our room. My husband called down to see if the situation was being rectified, the person on the phone was surprised we could smell it on the third floor. The stairwells were open so that definitely could have made the smell come up to our floor. Luckily, my kids had candy so I left the open package next to me so I was able to smell that and fell asleep quickly. The beds were super comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was well appointed and tasted good. I would be hesitant to book a room again but might give it a try again.
- Patricia (10/5): - Upon walking into the lobby, was very spacious and clean. The dining area for breakfast was incredible, so was the breakfast. Our room was great! We loved the space and the bathroom kitchen and family room area was very clean.

The Front Desk did not want to call a manager because it was a holiday weekend and said they would take care of it three days after the incident. The room is dirty, and the mattress was stained from the Bugs. This switches to a different room did not help mitigate the problem. We had to take care of it as best as we can on our own.

- Catherine (8/5): - The only problems were we had a large American flag outside our window and the weekend was extremely windy so the flag was constantly flapping in the wind. It was loud and made it difficult to fall asleep. Also the toilet was so low it was like going to the bathroom in a childcare place with little children. Being seniors it was very difficult getting down and up on the toilet.

- Jill (10/5): Friendly staff, comfy but just a couple things - My family and I checked in and love the size of the room! There were a couple of things that kept me from giving the hotel a 5 star all the way around. The first thing I noticed was the door frame and door going into the room, it clearly had been tampered with, huge dents of a pry bar or large screw driver used trying to force into room. Our hotel had a shared door, always freaks me out with children. There was a huge gap between door and floor. I shoved a towel against the gap and blocked the doors using the table at night. The next thing I noticed was the cleaning product sprayed on a lot of the furniture that was not wiped off. The cleaning person just needs to slow down and make sure to wipe off all the furniture polish from the furniture. I did it for them. Table legs, chairs and the front of the lower cabinets. The beds were super comfy and clean! The bathroom was clean and complimentary products were full. The front desk was always friendly and Amy was super nice to my children and I throughout our stay.

- Ann (2/5): - Was turned away when we came late for our reservation. We were going to stay a week. Arrived a hotel and night clerk said we would have to redo our reservation tomorrow morning. Said we would but if a room was available tonight? He said he had rooms available but could not give us let us have one. Very strange and not at all good service. We moved to hotel next door and stayed two weeks to help family. Don’t understand!

There was no fitness center (that I saw). Breakfast was excellent compared to standard hotel breakfast buffets.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Birthday getaway - When we arrived which was around 12:30, we were told by Ben, the front desk staff, our room was not ready and that check in time was 3pm. We said fine and we would go shopping and call later to see if the room was ready. Just when we arrived at the mall, which was within a few minutes, he called to say our room was ready. On the day of checkout, we asked if we could have a late checkout possibly,12:30. He told us we couldnt stay any later than 12:30 because he already had people waiting to check in, even though we were told the day before we couldnt check in until 3. I brought that to his attention but he told me that he had an entire hotel to flip. He asked us for our room number and when we quietly told him, he said our last name rather loudly. His attitude toward us had a lot to be desired..this was our first time staying at this hotel and we are hilton reward members. The rest of the front desk staff, including maintenence, was very polite and professional. The wallpaper was peeling a bit in our room and it was extremely hot in our room even though i turned the thermostat down to 67. The condition of the hotel is good, very clean and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.

Room was clean: except fridge handle had visible food on it, and there were greasy handprints on the wall next to the sink. Odd. Our heater made a clicking sound that was annoying and the ceiling light would literally turn on at random while sleeping. To be fair, the light had several buttons on it so it could have been operator error on our part.

She ran a pack n play up to our room quickly to make sure we could lay our toddler down who was asleep in the car. The room was as advertised. Spotless, comfortable and just what we needed. The rate was fair, and the entire place looked just like the pictures. The location is good, although you’d have to take a car to dine anywhere that isn’t the hotel.

- 568xarat (2/5): Building in disrepair - This place is fine to stay if you just need a clean place to sleep but then way overpriced. If you want decent amenities that are in actual working order, you should book somewhere else. Broken doors, furniture, peeling wallpaper, and an elevator that sounds and shakes like it’s about to plummet. Our shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned in weeks with pink soap scum up the walls. The staff are friendly enough, but I wound never go back.

We checked in on Friday around 4-4:30 and she had an attitude that we couldn’t believe for someone who should be greeting guests. The next morning when we went downstairs for coffee, we could hear her complaining loudly from the back office. Horrible employee.
