Darlene (6/5): Was ok to sleep and eat - Well parking was far from cabin had to care in Stuff down bad stairs cabin was well equipped and clean but close together but privacy outside was bad Beach area right in front of outside area and everyone who use canoe had to cross in front of our cabin fire pits to close together so didn’t sit outside or have fire view of lake was nice from window don’t think I would go again there sorry it is more for kids and dogs if you don’t care that you are close together

Rick (10/5): Decent spot in muskoka! - Overall the stay was good. The location is great. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. It was close to everything. The lake is beautiful. We met some cool people staying beside us. The price was right. The only thing is it is close to the road and traffic is constant. The owners were pleasant and nice. We would definately recommend and return.

Shivani (10/5): - Cozy & clean cottage by the lake we had boats available at the cottage to do boating, swam in the lake fully equipped kitchen drove nearby to picturesque towns hiking trails were nearby & did star gazing at night to watch comets & Milky Way loved the cottage will surely go back again the best part it’s dog friendly & our dog was super happy would give it 5 stars
Nick (8/5): - This was a very nice property. Owners were very nice. My girlfriend and I stayed for a week and enjoyed the cabin. It was small which is understandable and we came during a hot week which made the cabin stuffy so bring fans if you have them. Free paddle and row boat use. Also no laundry except for the laundromat in Bala. Tap water is yellow. All in all, a great location and a great price. Will stay there again.

Maria Andrea (10/5): Affordable Great family getaway! - The total stay is great!!! The cottage is old but very functional, our Cabin#10 is newly painted 2-bedroom. Beds are old, one bed needs mattress replacement which can be done anytime by the owners. The owners are very nice.

Kristene (8/5): Great weekend getaway - Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. Clean small pet friendly cabin with lake views, own fire pit and bbq, fridge, stove, cooking vessels etc..just pack a cooler. Easy access to local towns, provincial park, hiking trails if that's your thing, or just chill on the dock.

We went canoeing, paddle boating and fishing. It was a lovely time. The only downfall to the property was the noise of traffic from the highway. This didn't spoil our stay.

This year we stayed in a different cabin, the previous two were in a different cabin. The only feedback I have would be regarding the bed and pillows. The bed was very hard and dated. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

Had a fire one night down at edge of the water. Close to Bala for going to the Kee to Bala for a show. Would definitely stay again.

Del (10/5): - This is my 2nd time at these and it’s always a perfect affordable getaway, The owners are very sweet and accommodating. I love this place. Beautiful on the lake cabins with paddle boats canoes and other water gear. Fire pit bbq privacy. And Torrance dark sky preserve is so close by.

Anne (10/5): Rustic cabin on the lake - If you are looking for a cottage stay that is easy going, comfortable, and has great views this might be the place for you. It isn't fancy so the kids and dogs can swim without you worrying about the furniture. It is right on the lake, lots of trees, sandy lake bottom. There are paddle boats, fishing boats, and canoes. There is a BBQ, picnic table, and fire pit for each cabin. The new owners are renovating and upgrading. Not fancy but relaxing.

Riz (8/5): - Great lakeside view, friendly staff, close to torrance-barrens, hardy lake, and cabin comes with full kitchenette/items/cable tv/fireplace/paddle boat and life jackets. But the outside grill did not work at all and the fireplace took awhile to setup but eventually it worked. Pleased with our stay!

We were looking for basic accommodation for one night that was reasonably priced. Our cottage was clean and well equipped. Beautiful location on Black Lake

DABS (8/5): - Cabins are rustic. we had a 2 bedroom which was adequate for our needs. Full kitchen Fridge, Stove and Microwave, coffee pot Kettle, pots and pans an dishes, toaster. Great place to just get away and very reasonably priced. Bedding was provide and towels. We brought extra for swimming and showers just in case.
Sarah (8/5): - Cute little cabins on a nice quiet lake. Beautiful setting. Bbq for each one plus little seating area. Down side no air conditioning but we had a great time.
Kris (10/5): - The property was clean and pleasant. Canoes, paddle boats, and life jackets are available free of charge. The owners are very easy to deal with and very understanding. Rooms are clean, well lit, and stocked with basic supplies.

There are peddle boats and row boats (free of charge) to use leisurely or for fishing. It's a great place to get away from the city and a chance to check out Gravenhurst if you haven't already (great little town). I would certainly recommend these cabins to anyone looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay in Muskoka. I'll be back next year!
