- brittany (10/5): - It was nice for the price. Wished the TV worked
- RUSSELL (10/5): I would recommend this hotel to anyone. - Management was friendly and nice. They were very helpful to our needs.
- Angel (10/5): - Hospitable
- Angel (10/5): - That they all were very hospitable
- Angel (10/5): - Wonderful people helpful clean friendly
- Angel (10/5): - Very kind and friendly very hospitable,,compared to the other motels in town ..
- Diane (10/5): - Clean and neat
Staff was very polite and professional.
- Amy (4/5): - Front desk lady was nice and gave a small discount, however the location and the hotel itself was run down and felt unsafe. People nearby using drugs.
- Diane (10/5): - The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and accommodating.
- Ramona (10/5): - Robin was very friendly, moved me to a larger room. I was happy to see laminate floors and not carpet. Room was clean but very basic.
- Rena (4/5): Eh - This place could not be mistaken for a luxury room! The door didn't close completely, the walls were thin, no working heater or air conditioner, the bathroom was either dirty or stained. On a positive note, the towels appeared to be new!
- Tracia (4/5): - I was excited to find this place as it looked super cute and “cars” retro. However, the property did not have my reservation and even though I showed him my reservation and numbers and receipts he insisted it was not there. After a while he decided to let us into a room, and was going to give me a single bed when I paid and reserved a double, so I asked for the double bed room.
There were a few bugs in the room, hair on the pillow, but the worst part was that there was only a chain on the door. No other lock. We had to barricade the door with the nightstands.
l had to check in with him in the morning, I did and he still didn’t have it, then when I said I needed to leave to make our appointment at his wife said to go.
It was an unfortunate way to start our college visit. I am sorry his tech was not working, but not having a lock on the door was very uncool. I would not recommend staying here unless some improvements are made.
- Ruby A (6/5): - For the price it was okay. I wasn't expecting any thing more.
- Kayla (4/5): - The property was easy to find on the main road.
The office staff person was very cordial.
The room itself needs a deep cleaning and new carpet. Lots of stains, holes in the walls, etc.
The sheets were crisp and clean and the area is very quiet even though it is next to the road. I would not stay here again.
- Ibrahim (6/5): - Ok
- Morgan (2/5): - Arrived at the hotel, got the room key and opened the door and it was gross, needed mopped very badly, heat was broken, they had milk house heater, it was literally freezing in the room, had to go get another heater to warm it up! Will not return! Ever!
- Heriberto (10/5): - Good
- Garold (10/5): - Room was updated but the rest of th facility is run down
- Mike (8/5): - The rooms were clean and the staff was outstanding
- Eric (6/5): Basic Room - This is a basic no frills bed and shower hotel. Convenient highway access.
- Steven (2/5): - Wow! What an absolute dump!
- Dustin (2/5): - There was no heat when i checked in the guy handed me a space heater and left and when i tried to check out and get my money back immediatley he refused to come out of his room didnt stay there not sure how to get my money back
- Kenneth (6/5): - I stayed with my bicycle for one night. Room was fine, bed was good and I had a good sleep.
- Jeannette (2/5): - Burn holes in the bedspread. Mold on the baseboards. I will never stay there again.
- KATHLEEN (6/5): - Short stay during hunting
- Debi (4/5): don't waste your money - beds were uncomfortable needs to be updated badly but he is a new owner so I suggested it. No blankets on bed no extra toilet paper, ran out towels will wrap up a small child porch falling apart total dissarray, but they did bring extra towels. Lots of flies in room. I wouldnt reccomend this place
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This motel certainly shows its age, but the hosts are super nice and the room was clean and just right for a one-night stop in Eastern Washington.
- Albert (2/5): - The Hotel is incorrectly represented on the Expedia website. I would strongly discourage booking a stay at this hotel/motel.
- Thomas (8/5): Pleasant - Simple accommodations but nice. Dayton is a historic town worth visiting. Downtown is only a few blocks away and walkable.
- Venkata Subbaiah (6/5): - decent location.. but not maintained high quality.
- Cassandra (6/5): - I was looking for a reasonable place to stay in Dayton, WA. Blue Mountain Hotel was centrally located and within my budget. The staff was friendly and helpful.
My room was small and basic. Starting with the bathroom, here are my observations: the room is tiny, there is no fan and the window must remain open while showering, the toilet sits very low, there is no counter space around the sink only a small shelf, there is no bathtub only a shower, an average size woman can not bend or move in the shower without touching a wall, there was plenty of hot water and the handheld shower head was nice, the bathroom door sticks and is difficult to open, the bathroom door should not be left open because the main room window looks directly into the bathroom.
Regarding the main living area, my observations are: There is a microwave and refrigerator--I didn't use the microwave, but the refrigerator worked fine; a desk and two chairs are provided with a mirror above the desk-one of the two chairs was so stained that I wouldn't use it for any purpose; the floor was covered in a brown carpet. It appeared to be clean, but there were stains in front of the main door and the bathroom from wear; the curtain on the single window didn't close fully, which made it uncomfortable for a single female in a ground floor room; the bed was tolerably soft; the sheets and bedding was clean; the brass headboard was anchored to the wall; there was no closet only a pole with hangers above the nightstand
- Earl (4/5): This is not a place for seniors - I was actually going to have my mother stay, and the smell of mold was before I could get in the door so I did not stay. I paid to not stay. Manager was amazing. Very nice guy.
- Brandy (6/5): - Not as pictured. Nice people, no bugs, clean sheets, but it is run down.
- Lorena (4/5): - I didn’t like that the shower didn’t had a shower curtain
- Norma (2/5): - We did not stay. Urine in toilet, garbage overflowing outside, no heater, staind on bedding, and incompetent staff. Pictures on site are not an accurate portrayal of the facility. We immediately booked elsewhere and left.
- Charise (8/5): ok for a night - This place is ok for an overnight. We were skiing. It's time for a fresh paint job and clean.
- Robert (8/5): - Comfortable
- Stacie (2/5): - It was a dive. The pictures are misleading. We ended up having to pay for the night, but we went somewhere else anyway. There was no way we were sleeping there.
- Darren (4/5): - Dirty
- CRAIG (2/5): - Place is run what appears to be crack heads unfortunately..stayed there last year and was ok..this year no thanks..
- James (2/5): - It is a motel. Not hotel
Dirty, flys and bugs in rooms. If u want clean and comfy do not stay here
- Ramon (6/5): - The room was not really clean, we were not provided with an internet conection and we were not confortable at all
- Samantha (2/5): - Definitely got catfished its a motel not hotel and the rooms are not even close to the pictures beware and there is no breakfast when advertised
- Rodger (6/5): - More run down then shown in pictures..no tv in room
- Juantorena B. (8/5): - Good for an overnight stay
- Stephen (8/5): ‘50s style road-side motel - It’s a typical roadside motel that was probably built in the ‘50s. Small room in need of upgrades but it was clean and suited my needs. Parking can be a little tricky if you have a larger vehicle like a full-size pickup. Shower was small and would be cramped for a larger person. The room could have used a box of Kleenex, water cups, and a bath mat. Also the information binder needs to be updated, as most of the restaurants listed are now out of business. All in all the room was clean and the bed comfortable enough. The only real issue I had was that Dayton doesn’t seem to have a restaurant that serves breakfast anymore.
- Ian (6/5): - Okay
- Matthew (2/5): - First off, it's not a 'H'otel, it's a cheap, dirty, 'M'otel. I waited around at the check-in desk for over 5 minutes before I was even helped.
The room wasn't completely painted, the door barely opened and closed (the key was tricky to work and there was no latch lock), and we didn't have any towels or handsoap - except the towels that were used as drapes in the bathroom. No TV remotes worked. People smoking on the property wafted into the room multiple times.
They didn't have any breakfast, even though they advertise, so they gave me a couple yogurts and a root beer because that's all they had in the fridge.
I knew this was going to be a cheap motel, but wow, this place set a new low.
- John (2/5): - It was a typical run down motel.
- William (10/5): - Available rooms on a busy weekend👍
- Alan (2/5): - No bathroom fan; shower stall is 30" x 30;" no top-sheet on bed; very poor lighting (bought my own bright bulbs); carpet in desperate need of shampooing or replacement; heat is either on or off ~ no thermostat; door does not have security latch or even a dead bolt; internet connection is slow and frequently disconnects; takes over 5 minutes for hot water to arrive in shower; continental breakfast is coffee with pre-packaged vending machine pastries. Owner is very personable and helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Stay somewhere else - Free WiFi doesn’t reach room. The “new” desk clerk wasn’t trained at all before being left to tend the motel. She had no idea about on line bookings or the reservation I had made for 3 nights. No phone in room. Removed by owners so that drunk motel clients can’t call the front desk. Not worth a 1 star rating
- Verified traveler (4/5): Could be better - there was a odor to it. i cant describe what it was but it wasnt pieasant.
- Kola (6/5): - There wasn’t any availability at the hotel in Dayton, so this is where we stayed. I mean, you get what you pay for. Very much a motel feel & vibe. The staff messed up my room placement, they didn’t understand that I had made a reservation online, so they came & moved us after we had settled in our room. It’s about a step up from sleeping in your vehicle. Some of the other patrons seemed a little sketch, again, motel vibe.
- Christy (8/5): Nice stay - Beautiful area nice place. It worked for what i needed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - So dirty we didn't even stay there. Because we "stepped" foot into the room and saw the conditions and decided we were NOT staying in such a messy motel they would not give us a refund or our money back because we "stepped" foot in the room. This is my second bad experience with this motel and the owners. Will never attempt another stay.
- Darlene (8/5): - The hotel was a older hotel but very clean and didn’t have that old smell. Could of used some simple updates to make it better, new curtains, bedspreads and towels which would of improved the appearance a great deal.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's an older hotel in a small town, but it is clean and quiet and the young lady at the front desk was pleasant. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. Nothing fancy, but the price is right.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Well..the mngr lied to me on the phone when i called to ask if there was a pool. I specificalled. He said yes. I asked if it was up and operable? Yes again. I hadnt seenmy grand dtrs in 2 yrs. Promised we'd hv a pool at motel. We were sad. Nothing for girls to do. Whole place was shabby. Black mold in bathrm. I took pics. We didnt even stay the 2nd nite. I pd for 2 nites. Room was tiny. Unclean. Nothing like your pic shows. Would. Not recommend to a badger. Im trying get partial refund. Our weekend was awful.
- Anita (8/5): good - Blue Mountain is a motel with a hotel name. It was clean, and a good place to rest.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was kind of a dingy little place. The heater didnt work and it was really cold. The blankets sucked. The bathroom looked like you definitely need to wear shoes in it. It was a decent price for 3 beds for the night and dis its job of giving ua a place to sleep.
- Laticia (6/5): - We were in town for one night for a funeral.
The quality of the rooms was as expected with the age of the motel. The linens were old. There was only a sheet and the dingy, outdated comforter/cover on the bed- no actual blanket.
The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the shower floor was dirty.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff helpful. Wifi didn't work, a lot of road noise, no cup or glass for drinking, property dated and a bit dingy
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not clean on the inside of the room. Cheap price, but did not look as though it had veen cleaned properly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They did not have my booking in their system even though everything was set on Expedia's side. The water in the room was ice cold and did not turn warm.
- Anonymous (10/5): - The rooms are very cleanand the staff is super helpful
- Kent (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Stay here often and always enjoy my time.
- Karen (8/5): - The stay was nice. Everything was fine except I would have enjoyed having a coffee maker.
- Anonymous (10/5): - The Hotel was clean-the room was excellent! The beds were extremely comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for an excellent experience.
- Jessica (10/5): - We had a nice room, friendly staff, good food and great service.
- Alex (10/5): - Excellent place to stay.... staff especially helpful and friendly..clean and well kept rooms, facilities first class.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disgusting! - VERY DIRTY! You’d think they’d pay more attention to cleanliness these days, but this place is disgusting. The TV remote had visible grime and CRUMBS on it; it was obviously never cleaned. My feet got black from walking on the carpet. The chair outside the room was covered in filth. And I don’t recall ever staying anywhere where it felt too dirty to shower. I’ve traveled a lot and rarely complain, but this is a horribly gross place.
- John (4/5): - Dilapidated is the best way to describe this property
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The owner is friendly and seems to be an all around great guy. I plan to stay here again if I am back in the area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic accommodation at a good price for a bicycle tourist.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We requested 2 beds and a smoking room which we did not get.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very good service and very helpful staff
We would come back and recommended it
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice people safe place.rooms are clean it not been updated in a while
- Robert (10/5): - My stay was good the owners were nice. I was there 3 nights.
