Das Personal war sehr desinteressiert und nicht serviceorientiert. Dem Haus fehlt es leider an Persönlichkeit. Außerdem spielt die Bar am Platz so laut Musik (den ganzen Tag!), dass man nicht auf dem schönen Balkon sitzen kann. Außerdem ist es wahnsinnig hellhörig. Für den Preis leider wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, besonders nicht in der Hochsaison
- ford (10/5): Very comfortable beds, huge bathroom, great breakfast and an incredibly accommodating staff!!! - Giuseppe (the manager), Vito the desk clerk, and Nyla the breakfast lady all went above and beyond our expectations. We were in Europe for 40 nights in 3 different climates and had a lot of luggage. My husband is 100% disabled and has medication that requires refrigeration. They were so kind to help us with our bags up the cobblestone incline from the marina area and allowed us to store ice packs in the freezer in the breakfast room. Breakfast was much more than the typical Italian Continental with a selection of meat & cheese as well as fresh made to order eggs. They also had 3 types of local honey which helped greatly with the springtime blossoms which were causing some bothersome allergy symptoms. The room and attached private bathroom were large and airy (biggest shower I’ve seen in Italy) with great hot water and excellent water pressure. The balcony and breakfast area on the 3rd floor had a lovely view of the marina the bay of Napoli with Vesuvius in the background. The canopy bed is romantic and the bamboo mattress and pillows were very comfortable. There was even one handicap parking spot right next to the property which we were able to use for free for the 3 nights we were staying there. We then parked our car for 5 nights in the campground close by for €15/night while we took the once daily ferry to Capri (for €24 each and only €3 for our suitcase just steps away from the property). Palazzo was incredibly kind to store 3 pieces of our luggage for free during this time. The private/shared sub deck at the end of the marina was only open the first night of our 3 night stay, so we’re glad we ventured out that evening to gaze at the bay of Napoli and watch the sunset. There were few dining options and shops nearby that were open with any predictability due to it not being high season yet.

Une chambre spacieuse, très confortable, avec vue fabuleuse sur la mer et la baie de Naples et le Vésuve, un balcon qui permet de se relaxer après une journée de visite ... En plus, suite à une mauvaise chute, Guiseppe a fait appel aux services de secours immédiatement et avec son équipe, nous a accompagné aux services d'urgences, est resté avec mon épouse dans l'attente de ma sortie, nous a raccompagné alors qu'il était plus d' 1 heure du matin ... un geste noble et généreux. A l'image de l'ensemble du personnel ... Vraiment un établissement remarquable ou nous reviendrons ... Merci pour tout, Guiseppe et votre équipe

- Kathy (10/5): Lovely hotel, amazing staff, new friends - I have never met a staff so warm. Everyone went above and beyond at every turn Nila's breakfast was the best I've ever had. The only thing that could improve the experience has nothing to do with the hotel. The bus drivers and staff at the train station were just short of nasty. I left feeling that Alfonso, Francesco, Annamarie, Guissepe, Nilla and the sweet housekeeper were friends. I've traveled to many countries and stayed in many, many hotels and never before have I hugged the staff when I left with tears in my eyes. Nice hotel, amazing staff! Bus/train

Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. It sits right on the sea and the view is spectacular.
- Natalie (8/5): - A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

Sin comparamos con el hotel que está pegado donde ofrecen servicio de playa, Spa y pileta con precios similares o más bajo, diría que el Palazzo Murrano tendría Que tener al menos precios más bajos

He arranged the most fantastic trip for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would definitely love to return at some point.

Breakfast was excellent and the lady who prepared it was excellent. The access to the room was terrible. The access of the road to hotel was terrible. Not much to do. Private beach club doesn’t exist. It’s a large deck with chairs near water. Theres a lot unfinished areas around hotel which are unfinished and unsafe.

- Sue (8/5): - We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

Great help from Mr Alfonso with all tips and tricks. Great restaurants nearby and private beach. Even though i liked the breakfast, but would recommend adding more meat, like prosciutto, salmon, and more cheese. There were plenty of sweet options and a lot of different kinds of cakes.

The view is amazing and super clean hotel. Breakfast is great also the ladies cook really good, they give you a lot of options to pick for breakfast. They make a great coffee everything was excellent. 10/10. The staff make sure your safe getting to the hotel and going to the airport.

I highly recommend you stay here if you visit the Amalfi coast and definitely look no further. From their hospitality to their views, you won’t be disappointed, trust me. They are in the perfect location and lots of amenities in and around the property. Restaurants right outside the door, boat rides to any destination along the Amalfi cost, beaches and clubs, easy to get to the train for transport, literally everything!! Alfonso, their concierge, is amazing and I can’t stress it enough! He helps you and directs you to all the right places in the Amalfi and is very knowledgeable. Nella (my Nella Bella) their chef, is an amazing cook and baker! She’s such a doll and takes good care of you to make sure you start your mornings off right! Francesco, Giuseppe and all of their staff is just amazing and go above and beyond for you! I love them and you will too! La familia Palazzo Murrano, ciao for now! ❤️
- Lesley (10/5): Relaxing, friendly and stunning. - A small and friendly hotel where the manager Alfonso knows all his guests by first name and goes out of his way to welcome you and help you have the holiday you want. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself is beautiful and in an excellent location on the seafront with a few fantastic bars and restaurants on the doorstep.

The fantastic kitchen staff that always called me “lady” haha and manager Alfonso were phenomenal. Alfonso was so incredibly kind to us and helped us in any way possible from booking taxis for our early morning flight to helping us to book an extended stay due to LOVING the town of vico. Our room cleaning staff was fantastic the ladies are so sweet. This was most definitely the best hotel stay we have ever experienced. Thank you so much to all at Plazzo Murano.

- Aryankids (9/5): Loved it - Everything about this hotel was perfect, the staff, the cleanness, the location, the view, the size of the room, even the cousy and little breakfast area on the roof absolutely everything everything. The property is not far from the ancient city of Pompeii which is well worth the visit! I would not say I didn't like it, in fact, I quite liked it and that was the private beach (or platform as they call it). But as other reviewers pointed out the water is only usable by advanced swimmers. Kids and new swimmers cannot easily use the platform. There is a solution to it though, there is a free beach within walking distance or even a paid one if you prefer a quieter beach. That was where we ended up as one of us was not an advanced swimmer.

- Colin (10/5): - We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful! The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services. Alfonso was always on hand to suggest and arrange trips. We felt very looked after at all times thanks to Alfonso. We must also mention Nella who provided a wonderful array of breakfast options every morning which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. Thank you so much Alfonso and all at Palazzo Murrano for giving us an unforgettable stay.

Quite cumbersome to go to sorrento and other cities from there .

Quality of the food and coffee was outstanding. Our room had a terrace which overlooks the square of the village. This meant it was not a completely quiet location, which would be a problem if that’s what you were looking for, but we found it provided a wonderful view of the day and an insight into a Happy seaside village. The beach side facilities of the hotel consist of access to the beach club. The dining and accommodation there was magnificent. The swimming is by direct access to the sea which would be a challenge for anyone who was not a confident swimmer.

The staff is amazing and went above and beyond from the time of booking all of the way through the stay. The location is good, right off the pier/marina with easy access to ferries and water transportation. This by no means a complaint, the only area I think could improve is the breakfast. Quality was good, selection was ok (pretty standard fare for Italy). They offered hard boiled eggs one morning during our 5 night stay which was good to have, but overall limited options each morning.

- Samantha (9/5): Perfect for a romantic stay in this beautiful part of Italy. - Loved the marina area. The rooms were fabulous. Staff were wonderful. A very relaxing time knowing everything around us was being looked after by Alfonso, Nella and Francesco. At this time of year there was no transport to the area after 7pm, unless you pre booked a taxi which we were unaware of until after dinner one evening.
- Robert David (10/5): - We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

When we arrived, we learned that Alfonso upgraded our room from a basic ocean view room to a suite with a wrap around balcony. Thank you Alfonso! It was the perfect 3 night stay for our 12 day Italy trip. This hotel was our last stop and our favorite. Breakfasts were wonderful on the roof deck each morning, This hotel is located in a sleepy small town 15 minutes north of Sorento. We were looking for a quiet place without crowds after touring through Rome, Venice & Florence. Alfonso even created an itinerary for us to see as much of the area on a full day excursion. His suggestions included places that were not mentioned in all of my research of the Amalfi coast. Wow, truly spectacular! I will be back and will definitely recommend to others!! Nothing! truly a wonderful experience.

We went out of season so local facilities wasn't 100% up and running he arranged staff to take us to train stations and vico. He's a very proud Italian and wants you to see the best of italy ask him to arrange a trip and he's more than happy to do so nothing is to much trouble I'd certainly recommend staying It's a tiny bit out the way but if you stay in open season it's fine I know some people might find it daunting getting public transport in a foreign country but most people speak English and it's very easy finding your way around

From the moment we arrived we felt like family and now I can definitely call them that! The breakfast is on the rooftop with awesome views in the cutest room where we started our day with their wonderful chef Nella! She was an absolute doll, and made the most delicious breakfast and always there with your cappuccino or expresso. She goes out of her way for you and is so sweet, friendly and did I mention she makes delicious food? Just making sure because I can’t say it enough! She is amazing and such a pleasure! Giuseppe and Francisco, their front desk representatives and their manager Alfonso are so sweet, friendly, delightful and absolute gems to be greeted with and so helpful. They accommodate and go out of their way for you with their own little special touches! They definitely point you in the right directions for when it comes to food, excursions or transportation! These guys are the best and can’t say enough about all of them! Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us! We absolutely loved you guys and had such a blast and funny moments because of all of you! Although this was our first time, it most definitely won’t be our last! We will be back!
