Guest Reviews
- 910sarahjaner (10/5): Good - The Valeria jardin hotel has been absolutely amazing, I’ve enjoyed my stay. The entertainment team are incredible especially Ouma and Souky both friendly girls who made the entertainment enjoyable and fun.
- valeriarJ1244XE (10/5): Lovely clean hotel friendly helpful staff staff. - Lovely clean hotel, friendly helpful staff , especially Aziz one of the animation team , he has come over for a chat everyday to see if we are ok and entertained us with his magic tricks and joined us playing cards and shut the box.
Great location.
- colettes358 (4/5): Never Again - Arrived at the hotel late afternoon after a 4 hour flight from.the UK. On booking in was confronted by a drunk wandering around the reception asking in a foreign language for directions to the toilet. After booking in we were helped by a porter with our bags however on entering our block he was stopped by a French couple who had previously spoken to him about some issue they were having . I waited for about 5 minutes then picked up the bags and headed of to the room. Once settled we went for tge evening meal, on arrival at the resturant there was a large crowd outside the doors, once opened I can only describe it as a stampede. The food on that night and the for the rest of the stay was of poor standard and repeated daily. The kitchen were the eggs , omelette were cooked was a disgrace and dirty. The waiting and bar staff favoured the French residents over any other nationality and all.thrir needs were seen too while others were lacking. The waiting staff seemed to be stressed a d always in a hurry to clear up after meals especially on a night so asking for a bottle of wine seemed an inconvienance and we were ignored on a number of occasions, additionally it was not unusual for the coffee machine to run.out at the evening meal during the day you had to go to the bar for a coffee or tea. The outside dining areas are on most occasions dirty with tables needing cleared and wiped. The sun beds at the pool are always reserved towels on them.gor the whole day even if there not used. The rooms are tired bu cleaned daily. The excursions we booked through Easy Jet rep had a guide spent two thirds of the time speaking in French and had a bit of broken English to explain briefly what he was going on about but most of the time we could not understand him.. They rate this hotel as a 4 star , in.my opinion and due to what I experienced during my all.inclusive holiday I would put it at a two star. Booked through Gays Travel.who new what our needs were and what we wanted but they have let us down yet again third holiday on a row, we will.never use them.or their recommendation again a total waste of £ 1300 per person for a two week stay.
- catherinebL7813UT (10/5): Amazing resort - Valerie is an absolute amazing resort to visit. Our stay hasn’t ended yet but I would recommend it 100%. The rooms are great though a little dated but the staff go above and beyond to make it very comfortable. We arrived a little early and the staff were kind enough to let us check in once the room was ready. The food can’t be faulted. The entertainment staff have made our stay memorable. A special mention to Souky! They go above and beyond to ensure we are all happy. Thank you!
A little more consideration for the English speakers and maybe a little African music would be nice. Overall, I would definitely want to return here.
- mistyh841 (6/5): Okay if you like rude staff. - Checked in and waited a couple of hours for our room but was able to use the facilities while waiting. Hotel itself is nice and rooms clean if a little dated. Cleaners attended daily and would leave clean towels every other day, and bedding was changed during our 7 night stay. The entertainment staff were friendly and engaging however I wish I could say that for the rest of the staff. There are a lot of reviews about this being more oriented to accommodate the French and I am inclined to agree. With the exception of the chef on the outdoor BBQ, the restaurant staff and waiters are ignorant. arrogant and rood. I do not expect to be greeted and seated but at least place some cutlery on the table instead of us having to go hunting for it and having to go hunting for them to ask for a glass of wine. I was abruptly spoken to by a small plump female member of staff in the restaurant because I had attempted to take cutlery to the outside seating area. I was not aware that I had to collect from outside. I asked a waiter outside if we could seat at a table and he responded abruptly almost on the verge of shouting. I would recommend that the management offer their staff some training in hospitality and customer service and basic good old fashioned manners. If it was not for this I would recommend staying here but unfortunately I am not sure that I will revisit again as I do not go on holiday for this level of hostility.
- janemP2922GR (4/5): Man head of restaurant extremely rude and aggressive. Had to put in a complaint. Some of your male staff rude. - Food disgusting so of staff really bad attitude.
- F7262YWjoannef (8/5): Mixed experience - Hotel staff lovely and friendly - hotel is cheap and cheerful, good value for money just remember you get what you pay for - lots of activities to keep you occupied especially if the weather is not good! Overall location is great, food gets a bit samey after a few days and there is a bit of a feeding frenzy at mealtimes where sometimes they run out of plates or cutlery, rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, grounds are really gorgeous with lots of greenery
- mmichellmno1 (8/5): Winter holiday - Great hotel and staff r superb, especially the animation team, who involved as many people as possible.Food is mainly suited 2 French and Moroccan tastes, cud include a cpl of British dishes. Will definitely be back.
- finlayw971 (10/5): Fantastic holiday - Brilliant entertainment, venue & facilities
- saffronw807 (10/5): Had a great holiday - Great facilities and entertainment.
- O7609DSmichellem (8/5): Will return - Great hotel with great atmosphere, animation staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, friendly is not too our taste or would be a five star. Also having to wait for cutlery I dinning room is a pain.
- 904lynseya (8/5): Good experience - Lovely hotel staff and entertainment excellent. Food could cater for British a bit more.
- B2671OHmiam (10/5): Great hotel - Very nice place with great animation and mini disco for kids 😄
- Sclmalone (10/5): Great long weekend! - We stayed for a long weekend in March. I will definitely return.
Food and drinks were great. Rooms beautiful and spacious.
Grounds lovely.
Everything was spot on.
We will be back.
- 485manishap (6/5): Many activities pool side snd different themed Dance activities - Appreciate staff service
Entertaining
Main things we missed is indoor swimming pool and service didn’t include free steam room and sonna if want to use you nee to pay which is quite expensive
- mariabA9573SV (8/5): Fun times - Hotel is fine for the money you pay this is my 2nd time at this hotel and it’s been fun as the entertainment team make it they work so hard so please if you come tip them as I think they get forgotten overall a lovely stay 😊
- B171IUkarena (8/5): Solo travelling, felt safe & had a great New Year here! - I arrived 30th it was lunchtime, paid my taxes and straight to lunch, I am not a fussy eater & there was so much to choose from. The room was very clean, I was in block 2, across from a club, I slept so well cos when you close the shutters and window it’s so quiet. The balcony is small but so many gardens around you can just sit with a coffee and listen to the birds in the morning. I met some great people , yes it’s probably 70 percent French but this made no difference to me, we had great weather, you do need to get loungers early I’d recommend at the back past the flumes a quieter area with a bar. There is so much food & drink. You need to read the information regarding times and events but it’s up at reception and the reception staff are very attentive, I walked and enjoyed the hammam through trip advisor not hotel only cos it was recommended by a friend and it was the best I’ve had, overall a great stay, you just have to ask if not sure and you can have wine at your table just ask, try things out, camel rides, sooks, I really enjoyed my time here
- cmcg37 (6/5): Recent holiday 24th to 31st December - Travelled as a couple and stayed for a week over Christmas. We were located in block 6 on top floor (room 638), room was was a good size and cleaned everyday. (TIP.. Limited plug sockets so take an adapter, and a kettle if you like a coffee when you wake up).
All staff were polite and friendly (including reception, bar, security and house keeping).
The hotel would benefit from some updating, it looks tired in places.
I can't really comment on the food because we only had a quick breakfast once during our stay.
Hotel is in a good location, close to bars, restaurants, beach with promenade and shops for amenities. Mcdonald's, KFC and pizza hut within walking distance.
We used taxis and public transport during our stay, both good and cheap. We visited Souk El Haad (huge indoor market) approx 25-30 minutes walk or bus 5-10 minutes (approx 40p one way). We also went to the Crocodile Park (taxi wait and return was approx £25) you only need about 2 hours to get round the park.
This was our first time visiting Agadir, we thought it was very clean, safe and locals friendly.
- amrickp2026 (10/5): Good holiday - I’m really happy to come in this hotel it’s my first time and I will come back again food and room and bar everything it’s good and especially the animation team with a shoutout to Mizo and Lili who are good people and helped my solo stay be excellent!
- lhill33 (10/5): Excellent hotel - The hotel is really good. The location is in a great spot, the hotel is really clean and tidy.
The entertainment team work really hard from Valeria and make each day really fun, especially Lily!
You cannot go wrong with booking this hotel, we have now been twice and would return again.
- muffetam (10/5): Fantastic holiday - It was our first time this hotel with my family and we had a very fantastic time the entertainer really friendly with us and we will come back again and specially we love mizo ita really good dancer and lovely person we will come back for him
- Explorer28284456721 (10/5): Very satisfied visitor - We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Valeria Agadir. Special thanks to the Kids Mini Club team — Souky and Touria were amazing: kind, energetic, and always creating fun activities that our kids loved. It gave us real peace of mind.
The hotel is excellent, very well maintained, with delicious food and a great variety. All staff were friendly and helpful, and they made our Christmas stay truly special.
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
- C8922FWmarieh (10/5): Amazing - It's amazing 👏 holiday entertainment are like family for as we are so happy thanks to Abdul crazy lily, mizou they are our best friends we was crying
For our last day , room is amazing ,restaurant are great see you
- T6732RMmatthews (6/5): Not too bad of a stay - A little dated in decor, probably lovely 25 years ago. The international buffet is chaotic and would advise getting there as it opens. Lunchtime is the best experience tbf. Plenty of places to eat out at very reasonable prices. Swimming pool was pretty good and would recommend going to the aqua park pool area, little bit quieter. Got bullied into making a 5 star review by the entertainment team before leaving so deleted that one and gave this one instead.
- lizmapps (10/5): Great - It's our 4 time to come to this hotel and the valeria of this year is the best team ever thanks for mizo he's amazing person and crazy lili we had to much fun with her , Mario , bouno , Abdul also , the food is great , room is comfortable see you next time only for this amazing staff

- Traveler53895288415 (10/5): Great - Lovely hotel..great animation team. Especially Mario and crazy lili. Rooms lovely. My daughter loved the kids club...souky was lovely. Would definitely return
- Clsaca (10/5): Beautiful time - Lovely, beautiful hotel with flowers all around. Room was very nice and a good size balcony. The beds were comfortable and I managed to sleep well. The pools are really nice but the amount of people that reserved the sun beds really early and then go out for the day are stupid. When there weren’t sun beds at either pool we just walked the 5-10 mins to the allocated beach sun loungers. Had a really nice holiday with no complaints just silly niggles of things people do but that’s down to the individual not the hotel. Like it so much that my hubby is going there again for a boys holiday
- 608stephenu (10/5): Amazing holiday - 100 cent come back the rep so good with the English people and I love valerya vacation specially mizo and lili it's really good dancers and more fun with everyone

The best aspect are the entertainment team. Very friendly staff, with a shout out to Mizo and lily, good dancers and very friendly.

- kirstyhF8075GY (10/5): Amazing Christmas Holiday - Fablous friendly staff, very clean hotel and entertainment team very engaging mixture of english and french. Entertainment team from Valeria are brilliant. Shout out to crazy Lili, Mezo, mario, buno. amazing place.
- Mshell30 (10/5): Best Christmas holiday ever!! - This hotel is so amazing and so much better than the others in Agadir I have stayed at. The staff are super friendly.
The animation team are lovely especially Abdul, they are not pushy if u don’t want to join in but they are great if you do. Mizo , lili , Mario are really good animators and so helpful.
The food is good & my bed is so comfy. I cannot hear a single noise from the neighbours.
The only negative is one receptionist was rude.
- janicejH3790NM (10/5): Amazing - The staff amazing ,lili. , mizo,Mario,Abdul, buno and kids club team, you are guys doing good job , good animation and we really had fun with you, we really want to come back next time , room is fantastic , food also is nice thank you for valeria team
- 584sharak (10/5): amazing good, pools and entertainment - beautiful hotel with a heated pool and water slides for the children. the food was very nice with moroccan cuisine on moroccan night. the entertainment staff are amazing and very talkative.
- shazza238 (8/5): Food was plentiful and hot and always a empty plate - 1st timeshare and 1st time away for Christmas, the rooms are cleaned everyday and she always has a smile and an hello, lily and bono are funny and crazy 😂 always up for a laugh and encourage you to join in,
- Road28357043514 (10/5): Amazing winter break - Had an amazing time at hotel, entertainment team valeria, lily and mizo, bono, abdil and mario. were now stop fun. Would highly recommend coming to this hotel.
Rooms are clean and very spacious and food has alot of variety. We definitely be back with valeria
- 119elishas (10/5): Love the entertainment team!❤️ - Great hotel, huge thank you to the entertainment team from Valeria, Lily Mario Mizo Bruno Abdul, really friendly and funny, made you feel really welcome and always full of energy!
- V8287NQhannahl (10/5): Fabulous experience - What a fabulous hotel! I was worried after reading the reviews recently but decided to stick with it, I am so glad I did! I am still here but after hearing lots of issues people have had wanted to share my personal experience. I have mobility issues currently which I informed them of when I booked and was given a ground floor room. Super quiet where I am no noise at all at night. I will always request block 1 in the future.
Yes there are a lot of French people staying but on the whole they have been okay, there are few rude ones but again you get that with every nation no matter where you stay!
The staff are fantastic, they are friendly, can’t do enough for you! Reception staff are super friendly and help with any issues you may have, I managed to put my room card by my phone twice and it stopped working, they fixed it no problems, they helped with a no show trip I had booked today again super helpful contacted the Spa for me!
Cleaning staff are fabulous friendly and do a fantastic job, leaving cute little towel displays and replenishing bottled water daily!
Entertainment staff are fab and the hotel has brought in English speaking entertainment staff for the Christmas period due to more British arriving! The day time entertainment is in French but they did translate into English after and this was before the English speaking entertainment staff were here!
The staff in the restaurants and bars are fab! Especially in the buffet restaurant, I have been treated like a princess. He reserves my preferred table for me and provides me with a bottle of wine at lunch and dinner! This is before I have tipped them! Treat them with respect and you will receive kindness and respect back!
The pools are lovely and clean, yes they are cold but that’s what I expect during there winter season I find the pools in the summer in Europe much colder than this!
The spa was a fantastic experience and the massage I received was fantastic! Hoping to go again before I leave! You book at the spa have your treatment and then go to reception to pay after! The price was great as well was around £36 for a full body massage which was around an hour long!
Food is great they cater for all! I love to eat authentic food so have enjoyed the Moroccan dishes, there is also British and French food available as well! The drinks in the AI are fine I haven’t had the beers but the wine is nice and so are cocktails if you want extra alcohol just ask, I am not a big drinker so don’t have issues surrounding the alcohol content.
All in all this has been a fantastic experience and I don’t want it to end! Thank you to all the staff for such a fabulous experience. The only faults I can find and this is being very picky is the lack of drying facilities for wet clothes and towels, and only having two plug sockets in rooms and none by the bed - not a massive issue for me but maybe a problem if there is more than two of you in a room.
- kirstymcl77 (10/5): Winter Paradise - We had the best time. We were here for a week 09/12 to 16/12/25 (party of 4, myself, husband, mother in law and our 12 year old daughter.)
The staff at the hotel from security, reception, housekeeping, bars, restaurants, spa and animation team are all amazing. Everyone is so kind and friendly.
The food is amazing. We didn’t feel the need to eat out the whole week. There is a different theme each day. The wine is lovely. We had the red, white and rose on alternating days with our dinner. The alcohol isn’t watered down or measured. So if you feel you need more just ask.
The main pool is heated so you can swim anytime. Plenty of sun loungers no issues. There is a small water park and another swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers too.
The rooms are big and well maintained. Beds are very comfortable no complaints we had 2 interconnecting rooms. No issues. Block 8, very quiet.
The hotel is well maintained and kept immaculately cleaned. Everyone works very hard.
The spa is a great experience and they have really reasonable packages to choose from.
The animation team are a great bunch, always entertaining the guests from early morning to late at night. They do speak English as well as French. We were always included and they made us feel very welcome and part of the activities going on.
The pool party is so much fun. 🤩
We drank drinks with ice in them, brushed our teeth with the tap water, ate the salad and everything else on offer. Absolutely no issues.
We loved it here so much that we will be back again next year!! Thank you for a great holiday 😎❤️🇲🇦
- U1253RAmarkn (6/5): A disappointing trip not meeting previous experience. - Second year we have been here. Sadly gone downhill from last year. Place is starting to look rundown. As usual restaurant, bar staff , cleaners and even garden staff are friendly and attentive. The spa was great and enjoyed by all. Despite a big presence of English unlike last year where we were the minority there is a big resistance by the animation staff to even acknowledge your presence. You almost feel like a second class citizen! Some even blanked us. Only one guy made regular contact with us. The restaurant food is OK but nothing special and quite repetitive. Wine coolers and bottles are placed on many French tables which was the norm last year for everyone, but this year again a resistance to the English presence. The head of animation and indeed the hotel manager needs to address this as it reflects badly on the hotel. Unfortunately now I will no longer recommend this hotel.
- 466henrykg (10/5): Good - Good Animation Marmara❤️ love you you are very good and the best team ever and thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
- Biginwales (4/5): A holiday of 2 halves - Went for a week at the end of November, the weather was fantastic!!
We had a lovely room and which was quiet and very clean. The gardens and pools were lovely. The staff were all super friendly except for one.. the waiter outside with teeth braces and glasses.. he was incredibly rude. The French were very polite which is more than can be said for some of the foul mouthed British guests. There was a family with kids and they were an absolute embarrassment.
There was always something to eat, it wasn’t the best but we didn’t starve. Some dats were better others but was bored with it after a couple of days. The drinks are dire!! I am concerned what they water them down with. I bought a bottle in duty free so I was ok.
We had a genuinely relaxing week.
Then we had the shambles of the airport.. it was chaos!!
Finally we have both come back with campylobacter. This is truly horrendous and it makes me very angry to say the least. Hotels can bleat as much as they like about hygiene standards but the results don’t lie. I was worried while there about the amount of flies around the food and the birds flying around the food too and my concerns were justified.
I’d visit Morocco again but definitely not this place.
- P9380VLmmm (10/5): The Amazing Valeria Jardins D'Agadir Resort A True Taste Of Africa - Excellent location, resort has spacious rooms, cleaned daily. Gardens beautifully tendered to. Food was lovely, a different menu each night. Cleaners and dinning room staff were amazing, they work so hard and always have a smile.
99% of guests are French and only downside is that 99% of entertainment is in French. Hotel is in a perfect location, 2 minutes to the shops, and close to the beach.
Its an amazing, secure, clean, comfortable hotel and staff are brilliant.
- lilycR1739SK (2/5): The worst 4 days of my life. - I wouldn’t recommend I got scammed by the staff twice by the photographer and also as I was leaving by receptionist. The staff are also quite crappy and unprofessional to say the least🥴
- L2755YGharrym (2/5): the worst 4 days of my life - Creepy staff, one staff tried to drag me into a storage closet but luckily i escaped. i had money scammed from me, the beds are so uncomfortable i felt like i was sleeping on tiles, the watersides were broken except one. the alchol wasn’t strong enough. food was horrific. staff constantly trying to follow us and watch us all day while we are sunbathing and taking a dip in the pool. it was overwhelming to say the least
- justbigb0ned (8/5): Very good value for money. Great time was had! - I was anxious about the poor reviews about this hotel. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. We got block 2 and it was super quiet. Right next to main area, bars, restaurants, pools. ROOM 212, ground floor. make sure u take a 4 way extension plug lead or multi use cube. Only one plug socket in our room but is another in the bathroom. No USB. No lifts but only 2 floors. Wifi in our room very rarely worked but always a good signal out on the terraces where the pizza station, restaurant, bar and entertainment is. Yes hotel is dated and some wear and tear. It needs some tlc but it has a lovely Moroccan feel to it. Of course there are flies, mosquitos and ants but not in the restaurants or bar. It was a decent size and comfortable beds. Our shower was fixed but great pressure and lots of hot water. Everywhere is very clean. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis, beds made and clean towels with lovely towel art. beautiful gardens. Lovely staff - waiters, cleaners, bar staff are brilliant as are the Moroccan people. Not a lot of reserving sunbeds. pool at the back past the water slides is very peaceful but freezing with its own bar. Only beer, wine and soft drinks there. 10 minute walk to the private beach. The food is plentiful albeit a bit repetitive. Same with most AI. Lunchtime fresh pizzas are DELISH 😋. Late afternoon there are wonderful freshly made in front of you doughnuts and pancakes. evening meal has theme food nights. Beer and cocktails ok. Personal taste - we didn’t like the wine at all as is very dry. We love cats 🐈⬛ so we watered and fed any we came across including newly born kittens. Lots of French guests which I loved as I speak French. Quite a few Scots like us and English too. Quite cold mornings and evenings end of November so bring jumpers. Finally, tipping is very normal here so please tip even a little as they work very hard and are so appreciative of it.
- amandarV7211VJ (4/5): Very poor - What can I say about this hotel what is positive. Our room was lovely housekeepers was brilliant but we did not have many plugs at all, and what we did have they was hanging off the wall. Entertainment team was ok but most didn’t speak English but there was three of the team that was absolutely fantastic one which is the entertainment manager.
Hotel manager I found rude always shouting at bar staff for helping me and my partner.the two young lads lancing and Aziz was amazing 100% deserved a massive pay raise. As for the young security guard we called him boss man he was brilliant . As with the rest well I don’t know what or how to praise them up or it up . Entertainment was nearly all in French didn’t even what to entertain the English some of the food didn’t look cooked or even smell nice , a few times I had uncooked food and had to eat out as I didn’t trust it. Became ill for four days of our holiday. Noticed the bar manager (the one who wore brown trousers all the time ). Was rude if he didn’t like the way you looked or if you didn’t speak French. Couple of time I noticed him giving away Prosecco or champagne to certain people and also drinking on the job as I see him pour drinks into a sliver drink flask. I’m so sorry but I definitely would not stay there again meant to cater for all but nope not true if u don’t like pasta rice coscus was knackered fries only at night pizzas were not edible. Passkeys to the room kept messing up and you could always smell the drains. Avoid at major advice.
- B901XRsarahj (8/5): Good time - Stayed here for 3 nights because it was the mosg authentic morrocan hotel we could find in this area. We were in rhiad 9 by the spa. Yes we only had 2 plug sockets not the end of the world. Continental breakfast was nice, the bread rolls are lovely, lunch and dinner tagines good especially the cauliflower one. Lots of choice. Nice to have private beach section but the sun beds need a bit of tlc. Only bizare bit was that the hotel ran out of bottled water !! Overall good few days in the sun on the beach which is what we wanted
- Nomad28302333547 (10/5): Family holiday - Thoroughly enjoyed it here. Rooms were spotless as was the whole resort. The staff were very friendly and yes most of them spoke English in the restaurant and bars housekeeping staff not so much, but they were all happy to help. The first language is French so all activities are said in French 1st then repeated in heavily accented English, so I can see why some reviewers may have missed the English announcements. The food was very Moroccan, tagines of all varieties, salads etc particularly on the evenings so my 2 teens struggled. Lunchtimes they cook more "western " style chips nuggets pizza etc but not evenings although there is always pasta available. The grounds are well maintained. There is a main pool for all activities, a pool with waterside and a 3rd pool for those who want a bit of quiet. Outside are stray dogs and cats. They ignore people so we ignored them (sadly). The beachbis across a busy road and a 5min walk and the hotel has its own section about 15 mins along the prom. Very nice too. I'd definitely go back.
- 286craigh (4/5): Horrible - Starting on arrival when we checked in we was given our key no showing us to our room the guy just pointed in a direction which we followed only to get lost , then another member of staff pointed us in the right direction, after carrying our cases up two flights of stairs ( no lifts) we found our room, after 3 days of being in block 7 we asked to move rooms the noise from the locals bleeping car horns all night speeding up and down the road outside you can hear everything didn’t sleep for 2 nights when we went to reception they agreed to give us a room in block 3 which was miles quieter the man on reception said the noise is due to a party outside, the food in my opinion was terrible I ate croissants for breakfast and the rest of the other meals we ate out dispite being all inclusive the drinks were definitely watered down and yes it’s for the French, being from the uk you are completely ignored ,I would not return here if you gave me a free holiday.
- LeanneP682 (4/5): Not the best - Where to start, well after arriving at the hotel at 10pm due to a 5 hour flight delay, which the hotel were made aware of , no food was offered we were simply told the restaurant was closed therefore we couldn't eat. After a long day we didn't want to go out to eat as we were tired so we just went without. Honestly our stay didnt get much better from there. We were shown to our room, cosy traditional Moroccan style, with a fridge that didn't work. Air con that cant be used in the winter months and temp permanently set to 24⁰. Only one plug in the whole room which was opposite the beds. Not great when there were 3 of us staying in there. Fortunately I brought an extension lead so this did help. However our room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily. Thankyou to our maid sorry we didnt catch your name. Most of the staff were rude in this hotel and we only found a couple that spoke english. This hotel is well suited for the French but not for english people at all. We went to play darts one day and was told we couldn't play as the person from animation didnt speak any english. When asked id we could play he said no no english then walked away. We did play another time only because hitcham came to find us so he could explain in english. We couldn't join in with any of the bar games or mealtime quizzes as we didnt have a clue what was going on. Didn't see any evening entertainment either as again everything was in french. Many of The French guests we encountered here were very rude and obnoxious. Putting stuff and sitting on people's sunbeds while they were in the pool then laughing and refusing to move. Waving hands and shouting at young kids as they playing in the pool, we found out its because they thought all the kids should be in the kids pool. They couldn't go in there as the kids pool wasn't heated and younger children were coming out with blue lips after 5-10 minutes of being in it. The drinks were massively watered down and only a choice of 3 spirits: gin, vodka and whisky on all inclusive. Any others had to be paid for. We went to the bar to order soft drinks to be told no to get them from the machines outside. Neither machine was working hence going to the bar! Food was ok better at lunch than in the evening but didnt really cater for kids. We couldn't change money in the hotel were just always told it was closed. Fortunately there was a place just over the road to change currency. A little shoutout to Lahcen after our friend had an accident on the quad bikes and came back with cuts and bruises he was great. He took him straight to the nurse toget cleaned up, and wouldn't even accept a tip. There is currently some kind of chesty illness going around the hotel (not covid well I tested negative) as so many people were getting ill during our stay.
Would I stay here again? Not even if you paid me to!
- Venture31509901766 (8/5): Amazing Agadir🇲🇦 - We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights & we totally enjoyed our stay here
Checkin was easy & we were taken to our room in block 9 orange above the spa. Our room was nice & comfortable with double doors that opened upto a balcony.
It had a nice size shower room which was very clean
There are 2 pools & water slides we used the pool at the back of the hotel which had a pool bar its very peaceful.
The gardens i must say are wonderful & maintained very well
The staff are very pleasant
The only drawback was the food isnt that great if all inclusive
But the drinks are very good !
The main beach is superb & a good walk from end to end is 2 hours good for getting your step count up!
It also has some great bars & fast food outlets
I recommend NIL BLEU restaurant bar
The food & drink is very nice & reasonbly priced
Agadir is a wonderful place with lots of sunshine
We would stay at this hotel again.
- shoshaunak2022 (8/5): A happy family holiday... - We went to Valeria Jardins for a week Nov 16th to 23rd. I had a riad with my daughter and my son in law had an adjoining room. Due to mobility issues we were located on the ground floor, however there were still four lots of steps to negotiate to get to our block which was the closest to the pool, bar and restaurant. There are a lot of stairs from the reception to the bar area and to the riads. This place probably isn't ideal if you have mobility issues. I was definitely glad to be going home so I didn't need to deal with them again. I'm not sure how people complain about the food though. I mainly ate soup and salads but there were always plenty of hot options including fresh grilled food outside and a pizza station at lunch. Plus pastries in the afternoon. You would be hard pushed not to find something. The rooms where slightly tired in some places, but if you want Las Vegas pay Las Vegas prices. This was nice and authentic. The childs pool area was ideal to get away from all the noise as there were few children, and the pool was easy to get into if you do struggle. The grounds are kept clean and nice. The beach is a short stroll away and there are shops and a fantastic restaurant (Maxwells) just across the road. The beach area is lovely and kept clean. You will get stopped by people trying to sell you stuff but they are polite and don't push you if you say no. Don't be rude they are just trying to earn a living. My daughter and son in law went last year and were pleased that Mustafa remembered them. He really is a bonus to the hotel, both as a waiter and an ambassador for them. I didn't find the language barrier and issue but I speak pretty good French even if I'm not fluent. Its nice if you can do the basics in French. It will make it easier for them and you. You get out what you put in.
- J7963DMrobertt (10/5): Simple but amazing at the same time - Hi I don't normally write reviews but i need to thank a lot of people and staff on this occasion. I left Glasgow on the 9th November at 6 am and i took unwell on the flight. The flight attendance were simply amazing and cared for me on the flight. There was also a doctor on board who i cant thank enough, she was amazing. the flight attendants even phoned ahead to get me checked over on my arrival, again thanks very much for your great service on flight No LS3 701. The staff on the ground were equally as good. When i got to my Hotel the Valeria Jardins D'Agadir resort were informed before i arrived and again were very attentive and very welcoming. My stay within the resort was very good and i cant thank the Management along with the Jet 2 staff enough for the great holiday we all had Robert, Marie, Tracy and Wayne along with the other great people that we met. The animation were also very hard working and a special shout out for Brownie
- westbury2015 (8/5): Great Place - Brilliant holiday here , food and drink good for what you pay fir all inclusive , don't know why people moaning . Shame about all the invisible people putting there towels on loungers 7am ish and then never seen again all day ! This shouldn't be allowed , the towel man should have the authority to remove them . Hotel is great location , great sports bar across the road Maxwell's . The rooms are a bit bonkers , no plug sockets by the beds which is a bit annoying . They could do with buying new bathroom towels , the current ones are not good . However I would return for the location, the staff and the weather!!
- monarosy (10/5): Great hotel - you won't be disappointed! - We've just returned from a 3 night stay and weren't sure what to expect but we absolutely loved our stay.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially if you make the effort to say thank you in Arabic!
The food was brilliant, lots of choice including French and Arabic and the BBQ and pizzas at lunch were great.
If you can't find anything to eat then perhaps you should be going to Benidorm as there was plenty of choose from! 😂
The rooms were great, very clean and beds were comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again - don't let the bad reviews put you off!
- heleni966 (6/5): Pleasant stay - Hotel is in a great location walking distance to the beach, bars, cafes and shops. Hotel has generally a nice vibe. Our room was basic but cleaned daily, bed linen and towels were spotless. Mostly the staff, bar and restaurant staff work tirelessly providing food and drinks for the masses, the food was plentiful with lots of choices. However the alchohol (which was pleasant for local beers and spirits) seemed to be very low alchohol volume. I have never stayed in an all inclusive where people are drinking 12 hours a day and I never saw one inebriated person which is unusual in itself. I am not a big drinker, so my friend and I thought we would test our theory i checked the alchohol content on the bottles (yes i did, I was on a mission) my friend and I had a bottle of wine with dinner followed by several large vodkas, beers, gin and tonics and we were both stone cold sober, after speaking to other guests at the hotel they were of the same opinion, either very low or no alchohol in the spirits/beers. This was quite amusing and refreshing not to see drunk rowdy people. The hotel is mostly geared for French people, as the staffs English language is very limited. The animation team was chaos, unorganised. One member of the team marine i found quite rude, our first evening at the hotel she greated some guests coming out of the toilet, high fived them, then sniffed her hand and said I can smell piss. They obviously thought it was funny, we however didn't, it was a disgusting comment especially when there were children around.
- brendas138 (8/5): Very good family trip - Have to say we were here a year ago and was pretty good. Came back this year with more family and fingers crossed all would be fine.. Need not have worried. Hotel acted my requests for quiet and low level rooms. Little things like plastic cups instead of glasses no longer a thing. Food seems better (evening meal) and just generally nicer. Staff are all lovely and theres no blasting music by the pool but it still has activities and lower volume music. Can safely say this hotel has it all on point. Will defo be back.
- F4167NJangelab (2/5): Disgusting - This hotel is shocking the food is awfull entertainment crap. Definitely won't be coming bk to morroco.spoke to a few people they think the same.
- T5251FRbeverlyl (2/5): Very disappointed - Definitely would not return to this hotel ,food terrible ,entertainment awful , drinks only whisky vodka or gin avsilable on all inclusive ,no lifts ,poorly lit at night when walking to room ,deeply disappointed
- 1978emmamarie (10/5): Great holiday - Just back from a wonderful stay here, not sure why people are so miserable about this place we absolutely loved. The entitled people wanting the world to revolve around English speaking and don’t realise there are plenty of countries where this isn’t the most spoken language really need to be less ignorant and realise the problem is them, not this hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were in Riad 2 and we never heard any noise. Gardens are beautiful and the option for three pills plus water slides was fantastic. I had a massage at the spa which was a lovely treat after being crammed on a plane for a few hours, really helped me unwind. Food is plentiful, and the grill station is a great addition as is the fresh pizza area for lunch. The wine was in abundance at meal time, you also had a main bar and two pool bars. All the employees were super hospitable and they really made the holiday for us, a special shout out to our waiter Mustafa who looked after us whilst we were there: he’s a great guy and a credit to to the hotel.
- 322brendab (8/5): Poor Customer Service, selective communication - Lovely Hotel, majority of staff all very friendly &helpful.Though I would not recommend using the onsite hairdressing facilities.Communication is almost non existant,English is minimal.
My friend & I went for a wash & blow dry.I have white hair & they used Wheatgerm Shampoo, which may not be suitable for white / grey hair,as it may cause hair to turn yellow/orange.Unfortunately this happened to myself,my hair turned egg yolk yellow with bands of orange.
On discussion with the manager, who basically wasn't interested nor did she see a problem.,though offered me a free massage as compensation,I refused and I asked what they could do to rectify the mess my hair was in,she offered to have it washed again, using the same shampoo.I refused. She was then very selective in understanding the situation, she stated chlorine was the issue. As I was never in the pool this was not the cause. She kept repeating it was Chlorine.
Eventually she offered a refund.I asked about my friends payment as her hair had a similar outcome, though not as drastic.
She agreed to refund both payments & would contact reception,I asked for confirmation of this, she stated none was required.
On checking out the next day,the Salon manager had only cancelled one payme,I challanged the invoice & asked reception to contact the salon, needless to say the manager denied the conversation & we had to pay for one treatment.
The Deceit by one senior manager ruined the ambiance of our holiday.
On my return home I had to visit a hairdresser to rectify the situation ,needless to say extra expense.
I was informed a patch test should initally have been done as white hair is more porous.
Obviously the hairdresser is either poorly trained or totally inexperienced to the needs of clientele.
The manger requires to listen,& not show her disinterest to the needs of her customers.
- Explore59274368105 (6/5): Pleasant stay - Hotel is in great location for shops restaurants etc although they say it has a private beach its about a 10 minute walk away Agadir its self it beautiful hotel entertainment needs improvement as there all for the french and dont involve the British people which is rather rude food very average but plenty of it can always find something to eat they need more choice for children as not much variety for them overall stay was pleasant and we had a fantastic holiday here in agadir and will return but not to this hotel.
- sarahlK7644TB (10/5): Lovely in every way! - My partner and I have just returned from a lovely 5 night break. Rooms were lovely and very moroccan. Food was good and lots of choice, staff were amazing and friendly at all times. Location was perfect and all excursions picked us up from the hotel.
Not sure why there are negative reviews, people obviously expect more for the really reasonable price they pay. Would definitely return. Shukran!!!
- explorewithm198 (2/5): Bad experience - Its absolutely not worth the money if you are looking to book all inclusive. Not the meals one can expect. The drinks tastes nothing less But water.
Not as hygenic as it should be.
- _emaildblair (8/5): Holiday with daughter - The gardens are beautiful and it has a lovely Moroccan charm, the staff were helpful and pleasant, however, the food was terrible, I’m not a fussy eater but could not find anything decent, not much choice, especially for British visitors, and too many flies about on the salads
The sliced white bread isn’t very fresh and the only thing I could eat in the morning was fried eggs, cooked to order though, again the staff were lovely, we had to eat out a lot
Also there’s no kettle or cups in the room and they only have 4 kettles for the entire resort
I don’t know where the milk comes from but it’s disgusting, I tried scrambled eggs onc but couldnt stomac h it
The rooms need overhauled and the lol isn’t big enough for the amount of guests
I’d like to also point out that the shops on the right as you go out are very good, the man in the first one had no problem haggling and was very polite and friendly
- 220traceya (8/5): Recent stay - Just returned from a family holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in block 4 which was perfect. Check in was easy and our luggage taken to our room for us. Breakfast and lunch was my favourite, especially the pizza and outside cooking area. Rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard. My grandaughters went to the kids club and enjoyed it, the staff were excellent. We spent out time around the kids pool, next to the water slides. Towels were on sunbeds by 7.30 am as the pool was popular with young children. The big pool by the water slides/ outside bar was practically empty all day. The lifeguard by the waterslides did a good job maintaining the flow of people on the slides to prevent accidents. Of course we witnessed arrogant people arguing with him due to their chold being under the height limit but slides in the children's pool for them. The security guy around the pools was fantastic. He went around the pool given children inflatables people had left behind. His english wasn't goodcbut he acknowledged us everyday and the childen. The main pool near the restaurant was busy but plenty beds. The entertainment team by the main pool were brilliant, the kids loved Ziko. The camera people doing shoots were also great with the kids. Yes the hotel is aimed at the French but we found everyone was included so no issues. Outside the hotel are plenty shops and surprisingly we were not hassled at all and felt welcomed to look around.
Ignore negative comments about the hotel as these must be from picky people who want 5 star plus. The hotel is tired in places but expected as i guess it will always be occupied to the max. It was our anniversary whilst there andvi bed was decorated.
Fabulous hotel for families.
- 923gemmab (8/5): Agadir - We have just returned from a family holiday to this hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised! After reading a lot of negative reviews we were apprehensive about our holiday, however the hotel was actually very good! The food was good, even our fussy five year old found something at every meal (always pasta available), lots of fresh food available and the deserts were lovely. The staff were all friendly and overall we had a lovely week!
The rooms were clean and well equipped and we had no issues with our stay.
- mattypayne1 (6/5): Title: Lovely Food and Clean Rooms, but Some Aspects Could Be Improved - We had an enjoyable stay overall, with some great highlights and a few areas that could be better.
Positives:
The food was plentiful and available throughout the day, with a wide variety to choose from. The waiters were kind, attentive, and always happy to help. There were plenty of sunbeds available around the pool area, which was a big plus, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Negatives:
The casino next door can be quite noisy, especially in the evenings. Many of the staff have limited English, which made communication a little difficult at times. All of the entertainment was in French, so it wasn’t very engaging for non-French speakers. There were no self-serve drink or snack stations during the day, which would have been convenient. Bowls and spoons at breakfast run out quickly, which can be frustrating. The lifeguard by the slides was overly strict and constantly using his whistle. Similarly, the security guard was rather overbearing — often shouting “no jumping” or “no ball games” in the pool area, even though there were no signs stating these rules. Finally, the “private beach” signs were confusing and didn’t appear to lead anywhere within the resort.
Top Tips:
Arrive about 45 minutes before the evening meal (starts at 7:30 PM) if you’d like an outside table, otherwise you’ll likely end up queuing.
Breakfast is best between 8:15 and 8:45 AM before it becomes very busy.
Overall, it’s a clean hotel with good food and friendly service, but a few small changes could make the experience even better.
- L3168HQtinap (6/5): Good location, food and drink terrible. - This was a family holiday with ages ranging from 4 to 50's. We had 3 rooms which I had requested beforehand to all be as close as possible which they were. Rooms were a nice size and clean. Sadly no tea/coffee making facilities but did have a fridge albeit a noisy one. The a/c in the room was good. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The pools were also kept clean but occasionally there was a whiff of sewrage down the main pool area. We enjoyed the free use of tennis, ping pong and the little one loved the kids club. Now to the not so good, the food and drink was awful. Four out of seven of us were ill unfortunately so we started to have our dinner out and only ate breakfast there. I can highly recommend the pharmacy out of the hotel and to the right. They gave us medication to help stop the flow shall we say. The only other downside for us was that they favoured the French, who would always get served first and treated alot nicer. Near the pharmacy there's an atm if you need cash as the hotel doesn't do it. Also if you walk along the promenade I recommend the restaurant Jades it serves wonderful drinks and food.
- tatianamac2016 (10/5): Good experience - I travel a lot and my expectations are high as had lots of amazing experiences over the years. I booked this hotel as a very spontaneous short get away ( a week ago I visited Turkey so did not care where I was going), whatever came first to my mind.. Sadly I did not read reviews properly before booking, would like to say that our experience was good, but not fantastic!
Best part were excursions and massages!
We went on hot air balloon - it was out of this world! Highly recommend! Few 2 h massages each - was awesome too, also we visited Paradise valley - that was a very picturesque place. And we rode a jet ski which was so much fun too!
My daughter and I could not speak any French so we did not participate in any activities at the hotel.
Re hotel itself - it was ok, it was good. Apart from having ongoing issues with the safe .. that took few attempts to fix .. ( including had to speak to a manger to speed up the process of waiting times )
Be ready to have few extra charges ( which is normal in Morocco )- tax on arrival , returnable deposits for the towels , and about £7 for the safe ..
Food was fine, we got use to it. Room was very spacious and clean!
Probably not the best service - as no one was trying to please you ( as they do try in places like Egypt , Thailand etc ).. plus as I’ve mentioned-there were hardly any English speaking people at the hotel.
Tourist guide Youssef was great, animation team tried hard and it looked fun on a daily basis together with colour coordinated evening events. If you are into dancing or drinking and having fun - this is the place to visit during a holiday season.
Main thing we felt safe! Even if we had to walk about 5 min to the beach.. in a day or night , which was lovely by the way
Most of the shops accepted cards so we did not even have to bring any cash apart from small amounts for the tips.
I’ve been to Agadir twice , first time was an incredible experience, that’s why I wanted to show my daughter - she seemed to enjoy it this time , but we both decided we ve been in better places before, but we still thank you all for accommodating us.
- Dream66833556927 (8/5): This is a good hotel - 4 of us visited for a week in October. This is a good hotel. Mainly french but we didn't feel left out being english. The spa was brilliant. The staff were really great and a big shout out to Farah who was so friendly and Mustafa who served us each day in the restaurant . Rooms very spacious and clean. Garden and pool area lovely and pool and loungers cleaned regularly . Food was good, but we did eat out a couple of times for a change. Short walk to the beach with it's own private area. We will definitely return. Had a really good week away. Sharon, Jayne, Ron and Linda
- aprilrain78 (8/5): Friends holiday October 2025 - Beautiful gardens, well maintained and relaxing. Poor area lovely. Animation team were great fun, worked hard and are a credit to this hotel. Food and drink plentiful. Could not fault. Staff are friendly, work hard and always had a friendly bonjour. Location perfect for us. Short walk to sea. Private beach area nearby too. Rooms dated but comfortable. For those with mobility issues there are stairs to rooms but we were helped by lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. French is the main language spoken here. However, the staff and animation team try to cater for all. The only negative for me was room location. We were in riad 3 and the nearby, nightclub and casino were very noisy many nights til 4-5am. We took ear buds but if you are a light sleeper dont request block 2 or 3.
- heather8889 (8/5): Ignore the moaners - We stayed at this hotel in September. We arrived at 9 pm and were ushered into the dinin* room before it closed. This hotel is a bit dated bu5 we found out room spotless it was also cleaned every day. We were in block 3 which was quiet. The staff at this hotel are so nice nothing is too much for them. The food was Ok. You had to be really fussy not to find anything to eat. Bottled water was plentiful. Drinks wer3 ok too. One of rather waitresses made sure we had a chilled bottle of wine on the table every lunch time and evening. Was a nice little touch. Entertainment was excellent. Even though the majority of guests were French the an animation team included the English. Special mention to Ziko and Abdel they were so welcoming and excellent at there role. All in our stay was lovely.
- Jpoursain (2/5): Disgusting!!!! - Appalling!!!
Where do I start???
The hotel was disgusting it wasn’t just tired it was run down and filthy!
Saw cockroaches in the dining area near where the spilt drink canisters food was a joke!
I can only describe the food hall as a cattle market with rude French cutting in and almost trampling you over!
The whole experience at this hotel was awful and I feel it was a waste of money!
We love Morocco and our last visit was wonderful despite being part of the earthquake in Marrakesh.
This hotel should be shut down!
- NicRic2013 (8/5): Pretty gardens, good location and very good value - To give my review some context: we stayed here as a couple (aged 50+) for 1 week in October. We paid just over £500 each for flights, transfers and all inclusive hotel stay. I have to say that our stay was excellent value for money.
The hotel is situated a short walk from the beach and a private area with sunbeds is available for the exclusive use of guests at no charge. It was also well appointed for pickup for excursions which we arranged independently.
The hotel is no longer new and has clearly been popular and well used over the years. It is traditional in design with rooms situated in blocks of riads, each with a central courtyard. The gardens are very pretty and well maintained and we found the entire complex to be clean. Staff work extremely hard and we found all of them to be friendly and helpful without exception. We were situated in block 6 ‘Riad Dahlia’ - we had no issues with noise other than the occasional noise of other residents in the block returning from an evening out.
There is a central swimming pool close to the restaurant and bar which is where most of the music and entertainment is held. We are not late night revellers so cannot advise on late night entertainment. During the day, the first language is predominantly French but we found the animation team friendly and they worked hard to be inclusive to all. For those who want a quieter experience, there is another pool on the far side of the complex and a 3rd pool offering water slides, children’s area etc.
The restaurant is very busy and can seem frantic but for mass catering, we found the food to be excellent. The waiting staff were hard working and attentive (a special mention for Abdel who was outstanding in his service in the front restaurant area).
Drinks - beer and wine was decent quality (please be aware that although the beer is served in small glasses it is strong)! There is a limited amount of spirits available in the all inclusive which were local quality and best served with a mixer. We are not keen spirits drinkers so no big issue for us.
We were a little concerned having read previous reviews but have been pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay.
- faarias2018 (4/5): Not a 4/5 star at all - 5 star or 4 star ratings should be saved for places that cover everything from decor to food to service and amenities. I am not sure how this hotel has such high reviews. Yes its central and it has nice gardens but everything else is basic. At most this is a 3 star hotel that needs renovation and better entertainment. Its over priced in the summer. I would not return here. I would have rather paid half for an apartment.
- TCManchester (4/5): Not for Brits - This once French Hotel is still French - I wish I had believed the reviews - This is long but honest!!!
Am going to start with this, my sister was here earlier this year and did not seem to have any issues with the hotel, but there was a big enough group of them to not notice which is why she recommended it!!
This is not a place for anyone with mobility issues, there are steps everywhere and whilst there are ramps, some guests were finding these to steep for wheelchairs etc. staff also not around to help with these issues (I helped a man twice get a wheelchair down the steps for his blind wife).
Kids corner looks like it should be closed down, aqua park is not big with about 4 slides, the quiet pool is also next to the kids aqua park with a very small and dilapidated bar.
Main pool you need to grab a sun lounger early, these are taken up early with towels left on them for the most of the day, and a vast shortage of parasols and tables. Bar man is fab and so is the lifeguard ...nothing is to much trouble :)
Seating is also dilapidated around the main pool bar, could do with some investment here. The bar also shuts at 5.30 whilst the pool is still open till 6pm. Pool bar also shuts for lunch 12.30 - 2.30 with no signage.
Restaurant is utter carnage,
Breakfast, carnage with the French queuing for hot milk from the coffee machines for the cereal, even the toaster is an old machine and you need to put your bread through at least twice causing more queues
Lunch is served outside with a BBQ and Pizza station, but you have to go inside to get a plate, plates are not stationed around so its easy to pick one up, there is only 1 place to grab one, so that's just the start of the mayhem, nothing seems to flow in any order so its constant battling people in every direction and the French are just plain rude, the singer during lunch could do with learning some new tunes rather than sending everyone over the edge, although the French did enjoy it !!!
The Brits seem to eat and leave but the french seem to have a 2+ hour lunch, with copious amounts of food and wine (I have never seen so much wine drank at a lunch time !!)
4pm is doughnuts/pancakes etc and again the sugar and syrup is back at the end of the queue not the end of the serving station.
Evening meal, again seating is outside, but with a show from the animation team, either by the pool or the seating, and its so loud you find you need to sit inside to escape the noise.
The food itself was good enough not to struggle on the first week, but then it did get very repetitive.
The table set up is bizarre, they lay it out with serviettes and cutlery, salt and pepper are near impossible to locate.
We all ate well and no one was ill, so that was a bonus .....
Small improvements could make all of this a much better dining experience for all.
Rooms are tired and dated, there is no where to sit apart from your balcony which is so small (2 chairs and a table and its packed) and a dangerous large step down, no Tea/Coffee (not a problem take a kettle and get milk in the morning and stick it in the fridge if your a morning brew person) ..... plug sockets are not vast either for a room with 3 people.
Beds, well the 3rd bed is a childs bed in length so not suitable for an adult but had to make do .....
Block 2 the noise from the nightclub at the back is relentless till 5am and then the noise of everyone leaving and what can only be described as drag racing till 6am ..... ear plugs are vital if you want any sleep ....
Staff and Animation Team are hit and miss, some bend over backwards and are the loveliest of people, and others don't even acknowledge you unless you are French.
Entertainment - not enough words to say about this, during the day its all in French despite asking for English explanations which some of the Team are fluent in, and all the activities seem to stop very abruptly ...
Pool party is good fun but seems to be a bit of an aerobics class - very odd
Night time is another eye opener, 8.40 disco consists of a French Waltz and then some old songs all aimed at the French again ....this then ends very abruptly and its over to the Theater Room for the show at 9.45 again aimed for the French, there is also no bar, then that ends very abruptly and its back to the bar for the disco at 11 - 12, now this is aimed at the English when the AI bar has ended so you need to either stock up or pay .....
The Beach is not a 5 min walk and once there, there is no Hotel bar/food .....
Checking out late cannot be done in advance, but on the day 9.30am and oh boy you need to pull a few sympathy cards on that one as well ....there is a secure place for cases and the spa can be used to shower and change, but there is no sockets if you need to dry your hair.
This was once a French hotel and they are trying to get diverse but are failing miserably at it, in order to be diverse with nationalities you need to have staff who are inclusive and some who are bi-lingual and include everyone, at the end of the day everyone has paid the same money for the same hotel experience. If your 65+ and French its for you, if your not an OAP and not French, book elsewhere.
If your a Vaper, be warned they are 250Dhr so stock up if you don't fancy being charged that, everything else is cheap enough, Trips out are worthwhile Cable Cars, Souk etc and the Marina and surrounding areas are beautiful at night with lights galore and the side of the mountain when lit up is stunning. Take cash as hardly anywhere takes cards.
Single females - be guarded with some of the male staff!!!
- kd32 (8/5): Don't have too high expectations and you will have a great holiday - Stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of September with my partner. Having read previous reviews before travelling I was a little apprensive but we always take things as we find them.
First time visiting Morocco travelling with Jet2. On arrival given wristbands straight away so we could have lunch whilst waiting for room to be ready. Stayed in Block 6 top floor quite a few steps so if struggle with mobility will need to request a lower floor. Heard no major noise from this block. Room was clean, moroccan style which I loved.
Pool area never struggled for a sunbed round main pool area anytime of the day which was great. Parasols need replacing as dirty and loose tiles around pool area. Weather was lovely most days apart from a couple of misty mornings.
Food unfortunately we did not care for. Ate out quite a few times. Breakfast and lunch ok, the evening meal was not for us and very repetitive. Evening meal 7.30pm quite late for us.
Entertainment lots going on round pool area during day darts, aerobis table tennis etc from animation team. Abdel was the star of all this. Evening entertainment very French based I would say during our stay here a lot of guests were French aged 65+. Most things seemed to be based around them. Quiz at 7.30pm all in French no English spoken apart from last night bizarrely. The shows at 9.45pm were strange and in the dark theatre area. A couple were bearable disco show time and music from around the world which we all could enjoy. One of the shows featured a French comedy sketch show which went on for about 15 mins. No English spoke at these shows. I know you can read between the lines and we know the odd few words but it is not inclusive for everyone. Most of the entertainers had good English when it suited them.
I found it strange how in this 7 night period no professional entertainment at all. I think if Jet2 want to send guests here on a package holiday all of the above needs to be addressed with the hotel.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday in Agadir is lovely and clearly an up and coming resort. Lots of building work on going. For the price we paid it was a good holiday. Recommend visits to Croc park, cable cars, souk booked through get your guide. Le Maxwells over the road a great little sports bar serving food.
- jayjayholmfirth (8/5): Very friendly and accommodating staff. Had a great holiday. - Just returned from a week’s holiday at this hotel. We are family of 5, ages 14, 20, 41, 46, and 70 and had booked 2 rooms. I had e-mailed the hotel a couple of weeks before to ask for rooms in block 5 or 6 (because I’d read about the noise) but not got a reply. On arrival at around 9pm because of traffic hold ups we were quickly told to leave our suitcases and go for dinner in the restaurant and come back to reception afterwards.
The waiter found us a table quickly and laid the tablecloth and cutlery and gave us bottled water.
Once fed we checked in and a porter help us with our luggage to our two rooms in Block 7 on the second floor. I had read that there were no lifts in the hotel but the stairs were manageable. Anyone with difficulty with stairs or ramps should not book this hotel as it is really not suitable, unless on the ground floor. There was early morning road noise so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Bottles of water are plentiful, though not very cold, and are placed on dining tables at lunch and dinner, or you can get them from the bar. Plenty drinks available, wine ok and a number of cocktails/mocktails.
We changed sterling to local currency across the road from the hotel as this was not available in the hotel (position closed all week)
We took a taxi outside the hotel to the Souk, which is worth a visit, for leather goods, spices and argan oil products. It cost 50 dirhams each way.
We booked a Hammam spa and massage for 3 of us with Jet2 in the hotel which was very reasonable at £29 each including transfers. Spent 2 hours being washed, scrubbed and an hour massage at a villa which was lovely. Three generations of ladies all catered for in one room by the therapists and stripped down to a thong which hid nothing, so don’t go together if you’re shy.
On our last day we wanted to keep one of our rooms until after lunch as we were leaving at 3.00pm. I was told to see the manager after breakfast on our last day, and we managed to keep our room for 30 Euros, which was great, so we could have a late shower and change.
The main pool is mostly lively so if you prefer some peace and quiet, go to the quiet pool. The sun beds are not as comfy though.
The entertainment team really do make you feel welcome and most speak good English, though it was nice to converse with my ‘O’ level French and pre-holiday Duolingo App use. I must have been OK as some French people thought I was French! We all got along fine and danced to both French and English songs. The hotel guests were about 70% French, 30% English, but we found no problem communicating with a smile.
The entertainment team work very hard to please everyone. Zeko and Farah were easy to talk to as were others, too many to name.
The food was plentiful, varied and much choice. You would have to be fussy not to find something you liked. The restaurant staff work very hard. The lady cooking eggs had 3 pans on the go and the omelettes were always well seasoned and delicious.
We ate out one evening at Playa overlooking the beach and watched the sunset. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the food delicious and reasonably priced.
The rooms and restaurant were very clean but the room fittings and outside areas need some TLC and updating. The balconies were very small and we looked over the Casino Roof so did not use them much, but what we paid for the holiday was a bargain so cannot complain. Some people expect 5 star accommodation for 3 star prices. Be realistic.
- Inspire15348698610 (8/5): Good experience - Just got back from Valeria. Staff were Amazing. Sooo helpful and entertaining. Ziko and team well done you on all your hard work. You never stopped. Restaurant staff very very good and accommodating to assist with setting if we could not see a seat. Food was mostly good. A few nights not my taste in food but gave it a go. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Rooms were tidied every day if required.
Only issue I had was we had a cockroach in our room.(increased activity due to high temperatures) I contacted the reception and they sent someone to help and we managed to get it out but the guy spent a further thirty minutes checking under bed, cabinets, behind lights and pictures to make sure there wasn’t any more. Great reassurance for me. Check out is at 11.30 but we were allowed access to showers in the sauna buildings as we were a later flight home. Again staff were lovely.
I would say it was mostly older people there and yes mostly French interaction but they staff did talk in English also.
Clean and Friendly. Well done to all the staff
- sophiewoolly (2/5): Avoid, Avoid, Avoid - We first arrived at Jardin d’agadir on the 22nd September 2025.
First impressions of the hotel were it was tired and needed a make over but I tried to keep an open mind. No one helped us with our bags, bearing in mind we were travelling with a 2 year old who was very tired. We had 2 large bags and a buggy. On arrival into the entrance hall with all our bags I waited in a queue to check in and was handed two forms and told to complete them in the lobby. There was no where to sit in view of our bags and nothing to lean on to complete the forms. On top of this we were handed welcome drinks which was warm lemonade with a sprig of mint in it. I had to move away from my luggage to complete a form which was only half in English and not explained to us. After going back to the reception and waiting in a queue again for help, I managed to complete them.
We were then given a pack of information and a porter helped us to the room but only took one bag, so we had to get to the room with the other large bag and the buggy and carrying our child and hand luggage. After this they waited for a tip in the room! We were placed on the 1st floor which had no access lift to so we had to carry all our bags up. Walking through the hotel the whole place looked very tired and dirty. The paths were a trip hazard and uneven and there were broken concrete blocks on the paths with jagged edges that if you fell on them you would get a nasty cut.
The room itself had not been cleaned properly. The carpet had not been hoovered. The taps and light fittings had not been cleaned and had previous residents finger prints on. There were stains all over the sides and tables and the mirrors were so old they were tarnished. Paint was flaking off all woodwork. To top it off when you looked over the balcony there was a lip which was Full of cigarette butts. This had not been cleaned out for a long time..if ever. We had requested a cot at booking which was not in the room but when it did arrive it had stains all over the mesh and dirt on the edges.
Still trying to make the most of it we walked to try and find the pools.
Not one of the pools had space to sit down. The main pool was totally full and there was very loud music with a foam party going on. For a family hotel this is not what I foresaw.
As it was now 3pm and our child hadn’t eaten since breakfast we went to see if there was any food we could order (plate of chips etc) and were told the restaurant was closed and afternoon tea would be served at 4pm. We asked for a beer in the meantime and were given WARM beef from a bottle. When we asked for a cold beer we were laughed at by the staff. Next to us on the floor there was a spilt drink which had dried so had been there for a while. When we returned half an hour later, this was still there and had not been cleaned up.
Furniture for the pool and tables outside was cheap white plastic garden furniture.
The queues for afternoon tea were long and the only offerings were pancakes. We walked back to the room and by this time I was extremely upset. We looked to book a flight home that evening.
When i went to check out, I was asked the problem, which I proceeded to tell them and show pictures. There was no apology or offer to rectify the situation and I was ignored and the staff member walked off as I was talking. I asked for the government tax to be refunded as we were not staying, this took a long time as there was no receipt or note of us paying this. I didn’t get a full refund, they took one nights payment of tax off me. The incredibly rude staff members name was Youssef.
I left in floods of tears. I just wanted to get home. The change in flight cost us an extra £150 and we ended back in the uk early the next morning with an exhausted 2 year old who screamed the whole flight home.
On the 1st June I tried to change hotels with LOVE HOLIDAYS who I booked with, after reading the reviews of this place. Even 3 months in advance this was not possible. I strongly advise not to stay at this hotel as it is the worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in and I have travelled many countries in the world and stayed in cheap hotels on occasions. Jardin D’agadir is barely a 2 star rating when it is advertised as a 4 star. AVOID AVOID AVOID
This whole holiday experience was the worst of my life with only lasting a few hours in Agadir and leaving in tears at all the money we have lost.
- 669lesleyn (10/5): Fab guys - Fab time the entertainment team especially the 2 guys ziko & Youss who were so helpful. You are guaranteed to be entertained as the whole team is 100% in to making your day great
- 437jaccih (10/5): Amazing team - Entertainment team fab and so helpful and friendly. Especially the 2 managers Ziko and Youss who went above and beyond. Very enthusiastic and passionate gives 110%
- 711jeanetteh (2/5): Absolutely horrible!!!! - Restaurant like a cattle market for horrid food, flies and birds in restaurant, bird pooh on seats (never cleaned in 7 days we were there). Grab a table if you can!! and a salt and pepper pot if you are lucky. Never been anywhere so bad for dining, wouldn't dare eat salad cos covered in flies as was what their so called desserts. Have tried to put reviews on before but they haven't let me be totally honest. Hopefully this time!!
- 132beckys (6/5): Good holiday - however; underwhelmed. - ON ARRIVAL- we had a really disappointing start. Not an overly warm welcome from reception staff.
We got given our key card for the room.
Because we had arrived at 10pm the buffet had finished and we were told no food would be given to us as a family. (Children aged 7&9)! When we asked for just piece of bread and butter it was declined. We were told to go out the hotel up the road to buy food - recommended a McDonald’s’ to us from the receptionist.
Which then they proceeded to tell us that we were not expected, yet had our details and room ready for us? That’s why they hadn’t prepared any food, ‘we don’t do that’ they could not explain why. It made no sense.
The next morning I spoke to a manager there, who wasn’t overly helpful and carried on telling me the times of the restaurant… which in return I repeated I know the times! I wasn’t happy that we had to take our young children out for food as soon as we arrived at the ALL INCLUSIVE hotel at 10pm!!
LOCATION- The location was great, local shops nearby for savoury snacks, refreshments and souvenirs, shops over the road and next door to the hotel. All reasonably priced. Bars and clubs local to area. Beach a short stroll away.
CLEANLINESS- All the hotel landscapes and pools were kept clean and tidy.
No litter in sight on site.
Rooms were clean and tidy. Rooms could do with a little more colour and life in them, very dated.
Not much of a balcony/terrace given. (Space For 2 people)
RESTAURANT- workers are working very hard and attentive. Especially at peak times for meals with cleaning up and clearing away. Tidy and kept up.
FOOD- food was nice, it was very samey each day and night. (Had 2 days of chicken nuggets in one week) for picky eaters, there is not much to choose from, just breads/pasta/salad.
Lots of lovely Moroccan dishes. Very fish and meat heavy…
Soft drinks available on self serve, wine is served to you on request.
Breakfast was our favourite!! Omelette man was fab! Who also turns into pizza man at lunch time! The Pizza was delicious!
Snack bar only serving from 4pm consists of oranges/apples, donuts, pancakes and pastries.
Should include; bread, ham/cheeses and a salad bar.
All inclusive drinks were lovely and tasty.
Only serving soft drinks and beer/wine at the pool bar.
LANGUAGES- yes, this hotel is very catered for the French. The animation team did include our children and ourselves for dances in the evening.
We did not participate in daily activities.
We would not return to this hotel, we had a fantastic holiday and made the most of it all. However based on very basic food choices and mannerisms, we will go elsewhere.
- DawnS2761 (4/5): Only catering to French - Just got back from a week here. Disappointed to find it really only suitable for French guests so don’t go here if you are British as no English spoken. You cannot understand any of the entertainment. We also found the French to be very rude and were pushing in front of us at mealtimes or at the bar. The complex is nicely set in amongst the gardens, however, the pathways are uneven and it is badly lit. The rooms are dark and tired. This place is also totally unsuitable for people with mobility issues due to the many steps and even witnessed a bad accident. Sun bed wars are also an issue here. Was actually pleased to be going home.
- michellehZ5482MD (6/5): Definitely not 4 star - Good location not much around , not to far from the beach but be prepared to be hassled to buy knock of goods . Lively hotel cater for the French , entertainment is all in French French food limited to what drinks you can have even tho it says all inclusive,, not very good menu for the children until dinner time then it's pizza an chips .staff are very helpful and accommodating.rooms are very dark and dingy and could do with brighten up , cleanliness throughout the rooms , reception are clean outside areas not so good could do with good scrub an wash down . Pools are freezing cold 🥶 and again areas around the pools need a clean .would definitely come back to Morocco but just not this hotel
- margaretmZ3678HK (10/5): Everyone is very friendly and helpful especially the animation team Ziko. Loved the trivia quiz the - Everyone is very friendly and helpful especially the animation team Ziko. Loved the trivia quiz. Waitress lovely in restaurant but waiters some not so helpful
- Clocm (2/5): Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and 💯 not for anyone with mobility issues. - Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Reception staff were atrocious rude & arrogant. My friend fell and they couldn’t care less. We arrived late Saturday night (10pm) & no food not even an offer of a sandwich. The room was awful but we were tired and went to sleep. We decided as only there for 4nights the room would do. On our 2nd day my friend who has mobility issues and uses a walking stick was going for lunch and was using the ramp to get up to the restaurant rather than all the steps and she slipped (not sure if the ramp was wet or just shining tiles but it was very steep & unlike the other ramps it had no railing to hold on to) and as there was no railing she tumbled backwards and cracked her head on the ground: The hotel nurse (Saraa was fantastic as was Fouad (tui rep) & another guest who was a trainee doctor thankfully. The hospital was ok the process was all very slow and they won’t let you leave until you pay the bill but the care was good so can’t complain. I asked the hospital to call me a taxi & the taxi driver charged me 100 dirham, the same ride cost 50 dirham & then 20 dirham so clearly they will scam you if they can.
When we returned to the hotel the hotel staff couldn’t care less, not one person asked if she was ok. We wanted to keep the room on as we had to wait around the hotel for 6hrs until we headed for our flights! The hotel staff were awful, rude unhelpful & uncaring to say the least. They made us leave our room at 11.30 and sit in reception for 6hrs. The hotel is not disabled friendly at all with no lifts lots of steps and steep ramps. This situation could easily have been made less of a disaster if the hotel where better prepared & more helpful especially as they where negligent in not having a railing to hold on to.
The hotel its self is very tired and dirty and real needs upgraded. In some areas a good clean would have improved it slightly. The bathroom was filthy we had to clean it ourselves with wipes before we would use it. The pool area is filthy and the dining area inside is particularly poor. The food was ok but not for mist people. The hotel is very much geared for the French & they have no interest if you are English, on the plus side most of the dining staff were nice.
Outside the hotel most people were nice but some werent happy if you didn’t buy from them. The shop to the left as you come out of the hotel told us to “jock off” as we didn’t buy from them and only because they didn’t have our size!
You can get a taxi (use the orange ones) ask for the price first 20/30 dirham to souk or beach. We got a lovely taxi driver who drove us to a few places & wanted only to help us as much as he could.
EasyJet cabin crew in the way home were also extremely unhelpful to people with mobility issues which was also quite shocking.
We will go back as most people were lovely & lots we didn’t get to see but definitely not this hotel or with easy jet.
- madeleinel657 (10/5): Holiday - We found our experience absolutely perfect. We have never visited Morocco before, and I don't think we could have had a better hotel 😉
- Trip729000 (8/5): Doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets - I don’t normally leave reviews but this felt deserved. We were very worried coming here after reading all the bad reviews, but we were pleasantly suprised and would come again. We arrived pretty late at night and as we arrived the all inclusive food was shutting in fifteen minutes so the receptionist said we could get food before checking in so we didn’t go hungry. We checked in and someone escorted us to our room and carried our cases for us. The rooms are more apartment like, with a mini fridge and good working air con in them. The main pool is massive but there are sunbed wars in a morning, there is also a quiet pool if you don’t fancy the entertainment noises. The entertainers were fabulous, especially Abdul his energy he brought was amazing, the boys seemed to talk to us English guests more than the girls who when spoken to very rarely replied. Most of the entertainment was done in French, so the English guests were rarely involved. Some days the entertainment was non stop, other days there was nothing. We did make the effort to attend karaoke night but when we were there it got cancelled. The English guests tended to stick together when we were there - looking out for eachother and keeping ourselves entertained. Food was good for an all inclusive - we found something we enjoyed at every meal. Drinks were good but watered down but you could ask for extra alcohol in them - the pool bartender was amazing too so polite and funny. There is a gift shop within the hotel which sells drinks and snacks etc but there’s a supermarket across the road which is much cheaper. There is also an excursion centre within the hotel however we booked ours privately for a cheaper price. WiFi is decent around the pool and main areas, but very intermittent in the rooms. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. It’s a short walk to the beach which has shops and restaurants on the front for when you want to get out of the hotel. The weather for us was good, it does get cloudy in the mornings with the sea mist but don’t be fooled you still burn. The waterslides are brutally fast!!! There isn’t many plug sockets in the room or near beds, we brought an extension cable which saved our lives. Everywhere was clean and maids could clean your room everyday if you wanted. Beds comfy, only one pillow per bed though. Bar staff, restaurant staff and entertainers really went out of their way to remember you and have banter with you. We would come back. You get what you pay for.
Edit to the review:
On our last night we went to the show put on by the entertainers, we went to one a few days ago which we found decent and funny as it was songs from films so we knew it and could join in. This time it was a strange French comedy sketch which included other entertainers being whipped with a wet towel, including a girl entertainer being whipped by a male entertainer. It was uncomfortable to watch and seemed inappropriate for a family hotel.
As we were coming home we wanted to pay for the late check out so we could shower etc before our late flight home - we went to reception in our bikinis (which we’ve done all week and never been an issue) to be looked up and down and told to “go put some clothes on”, we thought oh right fair enough I guess so went back later in the evening fully dressed - only two find lads infront of us topless and not told anything. Also late check out is weird, you have to go back in the morning of you checking out to see if they have availability for it - however they do allow you to use the spa showers so we didn’t even use late checkout. When we checked out in the morning we got looked up and down by the receptionist (Mohammed), we were fully clothed this time too.
- 873simplyc (6/5): Excellent value, clean and lovely staff in the majority but be careful poolside - For a balanced review there are good and bad points with this hotel. We found the reception desk team extremely helpful and courteous. Restaurant staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble, bringing drinks, clearing tables particularly during peak periods. Our room was comfortable and a good size but as others have mentioned a little tired in decoration and bathroom needs a little maintenance, but fully functional so no complaints at this price, people forget they are not paying 5 star prices! Rooms cleaned very well each day with fresh towels and shower gel. Restaurant busy when the doors first open, we found the food excellent with a good choice particularly loved the tagines and meat dishes, vegetarian options were also plentiful.Breakfast was excellent with breads, pastries and cooked options all available, the egg chefs both male and female where always cheerful and cooked them just as you like them. A good start to the day with a Maroc mint tea. Poolside disappointing in a few ways. Life guard's spend much of their time on mobiles or taking sun umbrellas to young female guests, there is a strange atmosphere round the pool with certain staff arrogance. When asked by my wife if they could help her move the umbrella base she was told bluntly to do it herself! Now for the entertainment team which is quite shocking. Boundaries with guests are pushed to far and some issues are simply not funny. One stands out in particular - Picacu! Who thinks it is fun to shout and hit guests with pool floats when they decline to take part in their games, once perhaps funny but we saw a couple being bullied by this behaviour. The entertainment also need to change their poolside antics, one activity being dressed as cave men involved snatching bags from sun loungers emptying the contents on the floor! Then rummaging through holding up any embarrassing items they found. This is NOT entertaining for either the bag owner or those watching. Another was a fund raising activity going through bags and asking for donations. We have always trusted reviews on TripAdvisor but this is the first time we have actively seen a female member of the activity team, approaching numerous guests to log on and jointly complete reviews on their mobile telling them what to say before leaving to ensure a positive review! Overall a good holiday but be careful poolside!
- debracL1604CP (2/5): Don’t stay here if your British - If you’re British don’t stay here.
Currently staying at the hotel. Some staff are so rude, even to the point of being questioned why I wanted another fork at lunch time, it was snatching from me and I was questioned why I wanted it. Entertainment is predominantly (90%) French to the point of not speaking any English, for example, the kids club tonight only English children attended, so she spoke in French. The kids didn’t have a clue. When we asked for the disco music to be turned up while the French was watching a show put on by the animation team we were told no not until the French show had finished. The food is awful, the only good thing was the comfy bed. Most brits went out on an evening. This is not just our opinion, every Brit we spoke to had the same opinions. The hotel needs a total refurbishment. We can highly recommend Jade restaurant on the beach front, it was worth every penny.
- GailScott0895 (10/5): 10 out of 10 would return - Had an amazing time here, entertainers Farah, Abdul, ziko and Pikachu are all amazing and very good at making us feel welcome ❤️ mainly a French resort but they cater to British people also. Entertainment definitely made our holiday
