• James (4/5): Okay but in need of a bit of TLC - This was a self catering booking and the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was close to town, the apartment was comfortable. On arrival we were told that the electronic key to the apartment was not working, it was hanging off, and we had to use the key instead. I reported that there was no lock on the window to the lounge, this was replaced the following day. The dishwasher was not working and was smelly when opened. I reported that the plumbing in the bathroom was not working very well, the toilet struggled to flush, the hot water to the sink was just a trickle and the sink took a long time to drain, nothing was done about any of these things. The decor in the apartment was tired and needed a freshen up, the silicone in the bathroom was mouldy.

There was a bit of noise from the guests at a room opposite us late at night on the first day of checking in however overall the apartment was great. Some fittings in the bathroom and kitchen now show signs of wear and tear and need little attention.

The apartment is stunning, beautifully designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The views are next level, with uninterrupted ocean and sunset scenes that honestly feel unreal. The location is perfect, just minutes from the beach, great restaurants, and the vibrant Camps Bay strip, yet still peaceful and private. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out, and the hosts were attentive, friendly, and always available if needed. It truly felt like a luxury escape. Nothing at all, everything exceeded expectations. Leaving was the only downside.

Fabulous apartment, really well equipped. . .including an excellent barbecue! So many amazing sights nearby, short uber or drive into the city and lots of restaurants, bars etc in walking distance.

Der Jacuzzi nicht benutzbar. Nicht sauber! Man durfte vom Haupthaus daneben keine Getränke mit ins Apartmenthaus nehmen, auch nicht wenn ma es natürlich vorher bezahlt.

• Brinco (7/5): Fantastic memoirs - The location was great. From the photos I thought the pool belonged to the property. I was disappointed to learn that it belonged to another property. The couch was not comfortable need to be fixed. The bed was noisy during the night private session. This can be disturbing even for neighbors. We found the food not resonating with South African cuisines, not entirely accomodative of local tours. No meal without meat can be enjoyable. However we enjoyed ourselves.

Minor improvements needed for Luxe stay - Majesic views of Camps Bay, Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Twelve Apostles, and with a jacuzzi that is prepared daily for your enjoyment in the evening. Huge balcony for enjoying the outdoors. Beautiful bathroom. Although self catering, the complimentary bottle of wine and fruits and yoghurt were a thoughtful gesture to ease me into my stay without rushing to buy the basics. located on a quiet street away from the busy Camps Bay main road. Easy access to alternative exit routes. Apartments have access to the main hotel facilities and entertainment. No lifts to take your luggage to the top floor, which was a challenge to get to. Luckily the receptionist assisted on my arrival, but I had to exit the penthouse with all the luggage on my own on day of departure. The couch in the main living room needs an upgrade

• Amjad (10/5): يستحق مع اطلالة ساحرة - جمال جمال جماال ونظافه وشرحة وحلوه وكل شيء الصدق يكفي الاطلاله اللي ما ينمل منها ابداااا ،و المنطقة بحد ذاتها جميلة وراقية وقريبه من المطاعم والشاطيء يعني 13 دقيقة مشي او 5 دقايق بالسيارة تسجيل الدخول الساعة 4 العصر والخروج 10 الصباح !! مجحف جداً اذا كان الشخص جاي من رحلة طيران طويلة ، الامر الثاني هو انه لا يوجد غسالة ملابس والغسيل متوفر لك في الفندق بفلوس . طبعاً اعطونا فقط 5 كيلو غسيل مجاناً . وللمعلومية بس ترا فيه درج للوصول للشقة ولا يوجد مصعد .

We were on the third floor and as a disabled veteran, I was not going to be able to do that multiple times a day. They state it is in the description. However, it must be hidden. The dishes were not clean. No key to one of the sliding doors, so we felt unsafe.

• Sane (9/5): Amazing stay - The process was easy Cigarette smell when we arrived. The next morning we left for activities when we came back, house keeping came and when we returned to the apartment it smelled of cigarette. Could not figure out if the housekeepers smoked inside the room or came inside immediately after smoking. For cigarette sensitive person like us, we struggled with that but other than that. This accommodation was the best choice :-)

Torn couch, stained and bleached base covers, threadbare bath mats, stained carpet, broken light switch, non working ice machine etc. Early checkin and late check out were not possible. Manager and staff are not as attentive and responsive as one would expect from a luxury stay.

• Mr. Lutfi (1/5): - Location Disappointing Experience Despite Promising Reviews – Serious Concerns About Security and Management Accountability We stayed at Lions Eye in Cape Town, drawn in by the glowing reviews and the promise of a secure, luxury apartment experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a serious incident: 500 euros went missing from our belongings during our time there. When we reported this to the management, their response was surprisingly dismissive. Instead of showing concern or taking ownership of the issue, we were told to file a police report ourselves, after which employees would be subjected to a polygraph test. As tourists, filing a police complaint in a foreign country is not something we take lightly unless absolutely necessary. In this case, we expected the management of a reputed establishment to handle the matter with more responsibility and professionalism. What was most disappointing was the lack of empathy or follow-up from the manager. There was no acknowledgement of the seriousness of the situation, no compensation offered, and no escalation to higher authorities. We firmly believe that if anyone should have taken the matter to the police, it should have been the management — they are responsible for the security of the premises and the integrity of the staff they employ. Adding to our concerns was the inconsistent and unprofessional housekeeping service. On several occasions, the cleaning staff did not show up at all, and when they did, they seemed to wait until we left the apartment rather than simply performing their duties during normal hours. This behavior felt questionable, and when we raised it with the management, we were told this was standard practice — something we found hard to accept. While the location and amenities of the apartment itself were decent, the lack of accountability, poor handling of a serious issue, and subpar housekeeping left us deeply disappointed.
