• Anna (7/5): Great location but ok sleep. - Breakfast was amazing. Bathrooms were clean. The beds were lopsided and not very comfortable. Also, the building smelled like cigarettes. So much dust that caused allergies as well.
• Ingrid (10/5): Bem aconchegante. - Ótima localização, quarto sempre limpo, pequeno mas nos atendeu bem. O café da manha é bom mas podia variar, achei bem repetitivo. Recomendo! Do banheiro fora do quarto, não me atentei a isso na hora de reservar.
• Nicole (10/5): Perfect stay for a few days exploring the area - The location is perfect if you want to explore the area between the Brienz and Thun lakes and the nearby valleys. The town of Wilderswil is very quiet and just a few minutes from Interlaken if you want to go out for dinner and are looking for more options. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and wonderful view on the mountains. The breakfast in the morning had a lot of choices and everything was delicious, especially the homemade cakes. All the staff we met during the stay was friendly and ready to help for any question we had. In particular we would like to thank Joanna for the kind and warm welcome and the helpful information she provided at our check in. Nothing I can think of, no negative feedback

• DARIUS CIPRIAN (10/5): - The staff was really friendly and welcoming. They were always happy to help and share tips for visiting the area. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything that one might require. The breakfast included a variety of options, depending on whether you wanted to have something sweet or salty. The room was also cleaned and refreshed while we were there. Definitely recommend staying here if anyone is interested in visiting the area.

• Alexandra (10/5): Süßer Ort in den Bergen - Die Menschen im Hotel waren sehr nett, das Frühstück lecker, ein Garten der den ganzen Tag sonnig ist, wo man auch frühstücken kann und einen tollen Ausblick auf die Berge! Auch nur 1 Minute vom Bahnhof entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

• Karthika (10/5): Feels like a beautiful and cozy farmhouse stay - Very beautiful and cozy property. We stayed in winter right after the new year. It just felt like home but with some additional perks 😬 Very well maintained, friendly staff and the location was very close to the centre. They also provided us with a free public transportation ticket for the days we stayed. Everything was great!

Wir brauchten nur etwas Günstiges. - Das Frühstücksbuffet war überraschend reichhaltig und lieblich angerichtet. 🎉 Das Zimmer hatte sogar ein kleines Waschbecken mit fliessend kaltem Wasser. 🚰 Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und lösungsorientiert. 🥰 Das Haus wahr sehr hellhörig. Die Zimmertüre hatte einen Spalt, so dass das Licht vom Flur etwas ins Zimmer leuchtete.

Personnel plutôt distant Mais surtout : moquette abîmée , qui ne fait pas propre Et principal problème : l insonorisation ; pas eu de chance la 2eme nuit : les personnes au dessus de nous ont marché et fait craqué le parquet jusque 2h du matin ( idem pour un couple dans une autre chambre qui a parlé à peu près jusque 2h aussi ) ; sans compter les bruits de tuyauteries , de portes ( des toilettes et des wc qui sont dans le couloir ) Enfin bref , on n y reviendrait pas
• JunHan (10/5): Nice place to stay away from the city. - The location includes an interlaken guest card. If you come during summer, Schynige Platte train stop is just nearby. There is a VOI Migros and Volg nearby which closes at around 7pm. They are open on Sunday as well. None

Se voce gosta de dormir sem barulho, esse local nao é paraa voce, ficamos no 1 andar e uma individuo do 2 andava e conseguiamos ouvir todo o barulho do andar, caso fique peça pra ficar no ultimo andar possível para que voce seja a pessoa que faz o barulho e nao a que ouve. Naao consegui dormir direito porque a pessoa andava 3am e ouviamos tudo.

• SHIHO (3/5): もう泊まりたくないです - 朝ごはんの種類は豊富で、よかった。 マップで閉館になってて、すごく不安になりました。実際隣接のホテルで受付して泊まれましたが、建物自体すごく古くて、ギシギシ言うし、部屋が斜めってて、HSPの私には居心地がいいとはお世辞でも言えない部屋でした。もう閉館した方がいいと思います。

There's an Interlaken Travel Place right across the way, a market less than a 5 minute walk away, and the train is also a 5 minute walk away. The food in the restaurant is good. Nice buffet! The room is charming and quaint, there is a killer view of the alps from my window, and the outside gardens are stunning. This place is a real find. Love it so much. I plan to come back. :-)

• Patricia (10/5): Loved it! - My daughter and I came here for a weekend to celebrate our birthdays! We had such a nice time! The lodge definitely has a Switzerland/mountain feel to it! We did visit in November and it was not busy so we did get a lot of attention from ‘Orange’ and Mira! However, I feel even if it was very busy, these two still would have given us the best service and best local ideas! The rooms were small, but I guess I am used to the large US hotels. They were very clean and had gorgeous views! The breakfast was very good too! We are planning a trip back with the rest of my family and I’m sure we will be coming back to the lodge!😊

Very friendly staff who were always helpful. Because I was on the 3rd floor, (three flights walk up) I planned my day. My room was comfortable and always neat and clean with room cleaning every day. Bathrooms were on the Second floor. Didn’t seem ever to be a problem. I’d come back. Very good value.

Breakfasts were amazing, with a huge choice of fresh foods, fruit juices and hot drinks. The room was warm and very comfortable and the hotel facilities were all we could have wanted. There is a beautiful garden below the balconies of the rooms at the rear of the hotel and a wonderful view of the mountains from them. All was quiet and peaceful and the hotel was obviously very well run.
• Ryan (10/5): 3 night stay in June - Stay was amazing! Our host was so kind to us and very helpful. The hotel is so cozy and exactly what I had imagined Switzerland to be like. Great view outside the hotel, you can open the windows wide open. WiFi is Soso but it’s better than majority of the public WiFi throughout Interlaken. It is only a 2 minute walk from Wilderswil train station which you can ride for free into town every half hour. They give you a card when you check in for free train rides into Interlaken, discount tourist activities, and grants free entry into the casino in interlaken. The only parts I don’t like with the lodge are the bathrooms. They are shared between rooms. It’s 4 bathrooms shared between 8 rooms. Never an issue throughout the day but sometimes in the morning around 7-8 they can all be occupied. But they lock and it’s a peaceful area. Just not as convenient as a personal bathrooms. Also the beds aren’t super comfortable. I stayed 3 nights and at the 3rd night my back was starting to hurt. If we come back to interlaken I wouldn’t even consider another hotel, this would be my first pick hands down. Recommend 100%!

Check in was great; we arrived early and our room was ready so they let us check in early. Carl was great and offered up ideas on an itinerary for the day. The breakfast was more than enough and we ate dinner the night before at the restaurant that is attached and that was delicious. We hope to be back again soon!!
• Bobbie (8/5): Stunning location - Spectacular views, warm and friendly service, cosy room. Only issue was the thin walls. Heard a guy next door talking late in the night and could hear another snoring! Because there are shared bathrooms, would recommend a latch/sign on the door to indicate when busy/engaged.

• Brian (8/5): Excellent place with stunning location. - Stayed here with my brother when we took part in a marathon. Very impressed with the hostel. Beautiful gardens with hot-tub to relax in. Plus the surrounding location is magnificent. It's only a short bus ride to Interlaken.

Breakfast was normally good but should be little bit changed day by day. 7 days eat always completely the same, the best breakfast is not so good any more. Location very good, near train and bus station.
• Taheer (8/5): Nice place in interlaken - Good location friendly and very helpful staff indeed. Hotel a bit dated, room floor creaked like crazy, but this is part of the lodge experience I guess. All in all very nice stay
• Verified traveler (10/5): - I stayed here for two nights. The staffs were super nice, and welcoming. I had to leave early every morning before 7am, and they made me breakfast sandwich bag with water, fruits, chocolate the day before. Location is awesome, very quiet and beautiful. it's just 1 train stop away from Interlaken Ost which takes about 5 min. They also give you a free pass between those stations when you check-in. There is no elevator, however they helped me bringing my heavy suitcase upto my room. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Switzerland!
• TLynn (10/5): - The hotel is located close to the Wilderswill train station - a great location between Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. The building is lovely and historically significant. Our room had a balcony with a view of the Jungfrau. We had two shared bathrooms on our floor so there was never an issue of waiting to use the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. There are no elevators so this might be a problem with someone that struggles with stairs. We loved the beauty of the hotel and gardens. It was very clean. The staff was always pleasant and courteous. We would definitely go back.
