Guest Reviews
- Smith (9/5): -
- Burgess (7/5): -
- Crystal (1/5): - Nothing We couldn't get towels or toilet paper after asking the entire time we was there
- Jason (1/5): - Nothing Blood on sheets drug paraphernalia roaches and bed bugs were present in the room
- Brittany (3/5): I would not recommend unless you just need a bed to sleep quick and out right away. - The location was great! The bathroom door didn’t shut, toilet didn’t flush, key card worked when it wanted to, tv didn’t work, remote was missing the back, blanket on bed had cigarette burn holes even though was in a non smoking room.
- Travis (3/5): - Well it could be better for the price, i mean it's located where there are alot of other hotels The staff didn't ask if I needed anything like more towels, toilet paper, and they don't even have the little coffee maker in the room and also i booked the time to check in was 3 am but they were telling i couldn't unil 3pm so I had to pay them 80 extra dollars to check in the am when they had the room available and if he would have read my booking thoroughly he would have seen it was a am check in i feel like booking.com should reimburse me for the extra money and I asked for my money back, and he said that I will have to talk to booking. Com to get a refund and I said didn't you get paid in advance he said yes so who had the money booking.com or the hotel i have to go back to Manchester again tomorrow and I think booking.com should pay for a 1 night stay for me
- Alan (1/5): -
- Helena (1/5): They charged me $350 for a terrible room that was roach infested and refused to give me a refund. - The room had cockroaches, and the shower and the room were dirty. They completely overcharged for the room and refused to compensate at all for the unacceptable room conditions. There was no help from management at all.
- Camacho (9/5): -
- Landrus (7/5): -
- Gifford (2/5): Good and Bad Stay - The price was great! The room was old, not very clean, towels stained and dingy, pillows flat and uncomfortable, no working telephone. The room was old and needs to be thoroughly cleaned and painted. But it served our purpose of having a place to sleep for the night before finishing our trip the next day. I
- Alex (10/5): -
- Jimmy (3/5): - The location Pool closed sink was dirty the floor walking into the room falling through all in all i give it 2 star
- Loussaert (2/5): - Roach traps. Wore out bathroom. Light bulbs I had to screw in myself. I got my money back and stayed at Motel 6 across the road.
- farr (3/5): Unrealized potential - The front desk and cleaning lady was very pleasant. The air conditioner filter.was very much clogged with dust. The room was damaged and smelled bad. The temperature was warm and the air uncirculated until I turned the A/C on. We used around twenty Lysol wipes and some aerosol Lysol with a washcloth to clean the dirt and mold off of the surfaces. The toilet did not flush well and the bed was a bit smelly. We went to Walmart and bought sheets!...
- Arun (2/5): - Worst hotel, bed bugs and very unclean.
- Jack (6/5): on night was enough for me - The buildings need a lot of cleanup. The door to my room had corrosion on it and only one of the 2 key cards worked to open the door. The toilet needs repair as it doesn't always set properly when flushed.
- Huntsman (10/5): Was very happy and satisfied with the results - Staff was very helpful and our tv didn’t work and the lady from the front desk and her husband got us fixed right up
- Tiana (2/5): - God avoid at all costs. Pictures make it look decent, but upon arrival, there was a lot of seemingly sketchy people hanging around the property. Check in was fine, but once walking into the room, we were met with a very musty, warm, moist smell & squishy floors. It felt like we were walking over soggy craters with some carpet over them. None of the floor was even & you could hear the moisture underneath with every step. Hairs left in the shower, trash wasn’t taken out after the previous guests. We didn’t even want to touch the beds, we stood laughing hysterically in tears of disbelief before just leaving without being given a refund (which is fine, we knew there was no refunds & didn’t think we would get one). We expressed our concerns & left to stay elsewhere within 10 minutes of being there.
- Chelsey (2/5): - It had bugs and i still haven't recieved my deposit
- Canada (4/5): - Quite I reserve a king bed the day before but when I check in as scheduled no king beds available. With booking I'm stuck to the reservation. This isn't fair to take my money and when the hotel, motel doesn't deliver I'm stuck with no discount or rewards. This will be the last time I use booking. Com rim off
- Cindy (2/5): - Diry ,gross ceiling had water damage in bathroom, air conditioning wasnt on when arrived took an hour to cool off.
- Pamela (4/5): - It was advertised had breakfast included was just 1 choice cereal and juice. The room smelled of smoke but it was a non-smoking room
- GrandTour56044039405 (2/5): Worst place I’ve stayed in EVER! Run don’t walk from their website book anywhere else - Toddler toilet . Room 118 Smells of mold . Dirty windows and walls.! Hairs in bed and sheets had stains . There is no pool access it was all brown
Nasty!!!!! No refund when I checked out a day early!!!!! No way to close blinds all the way . Did not sleep well and fireworks right outside the door and people living in this motel! Eww ! Clothes hanging outside. Very trashy! Only thing good is the food places and Walmart are walking distance so we could walk there instead.
- Garry (4/5): - The rooms are hot as hell. The showers are too small
- Laura (2/5): - The photos of the property on the site were not accurate. It showed a lobby to check-in, but there was just a small room with plexiglass window where I slid my credit card under a small divider. The room smelled very musty. There was only one tiny bar of soap and two not full sized towels. At least one wall had been patched, but not repainted. Everything just gave my daughter and me uncomfortable vibes. Everything was old and dingy.
I usually do due diligence when researching hotels, but unfortunately, I did not do a good job this time. As soon as we got in room 107, my daughter was reading almost all BEWARE and DO NOT STAY here reviews, including at least 2 for room 107.
I will be researching hotel stays in much more detail and better diligence in the future.
One pro: We decided NOT to stay. We were refunded the total of our stay minus the day we checked in. This was fair and I was very happy about that.
PLEASE DO NOT STAY. Definitely not like any 2-star rated hotels.I've been at before. Solid 1/2 to 1 star.
- Ariana (1/5): It was a mix of good and bad, but I wouldn't stay there again. - I liked the tv and the bed. I didn't like that there wasn't hot water and the fact that I got lice after staying there.
- Austin (2/5): - The floor bounced under your feet and felt like it was going to collapse when you walked on it.
Mold all over the place, and we had to force the door to get in.
- Katie (2/5): - I wish I could give zero stars. The planets ool was closed even though it was the only reason we booked this particular motel. We asked for a 1st floor room only to be told no but there was miraculously one available after we complained about the room smelling like mold, being nasty and half the lights not working. Second room wasn’t much better. Will never stay here again or recommend to anyone.
- Patrick (3/5): Poor - I only stayed one night and they wouldn't give me any money back!!! I was asking only for sunday night credit and they wouldn't give it to me. I think that's crazy!!
- Janice (1/5): Bad stay Motel - Nothing. They put me right under stairs and I had 10 year old grandson along. Had to clean room before I put any belongings in room. Had roach bugs bad. No ice bucket. Drawers on dresser wouldn't stay closed. Freezer/refrigerator needed defrosted, to much ice build up, couldn't put anything in it.
- Randall (6/5): - The only amenities listed were clean sheets. They were dirty as was the blanket. We went to Walmart across the street to buy sheets and a blanket. Not the cleanest room I have ever stayed in but it didn't smell and the air condition worked. Staff was very friendly.
- Adam (4/5): - Dirty
- Benjamin (2/5): - No one should ever book a room here. It should be shut down. There were blood stains on the sheets, looked like someone left sex residue on the comforter. When we asked for a different room, trying our best to be optimistic- the room the moved us to had big roaches and bed bugs on the mattress. Thank god we didn’t bring our stuff into the room. I showed them the roach I squished on the key card packet, and asked for a refund we refused to stay in there- and would rather sleep in the car. They refused to give us a refund and I had to contact Expedia. I’m thinking about calling the health department. People should not be staying here. Seriously, low prices or otherwise. DO NOT STAY HERE-YOU WILL REGRET IT! I still feel itchy just having to be in there the little amount of time I was. And I let Expedia know they should not be recommending this place to anyone. I wish I had though to take pictures, the place was so horrifying we didn’t even think to do that.
- Tate (6/5): Pleasant - Location Reserved a king room and they gave me a double
- Turner (1/5): Bad -
- Tierney (2/5): You couldn’t pay me to stay there again - The tv worked The room has a foul musty smell, the bed sheets were stained and one was so raggedy you could see through one of them. The breakfast… lol, was a container of cereal, a 1/2 gallon of 2% milk and a 2 liter bottle of water, the bathtub had no handrail or even a slip proof mat.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Was told I did not have a reservation. Dead bug on the room wall. Never saw room service. Dozens of holes in the curtains. Burn barrels outside with trash pile. Horrible!!
- Preavette (1/5): Worst hotel ever - Nothing The first room was crappy the sink was not attached to the pipes so water went every where the floor was dirty and the rooms smelled bad the second room we moved to was worse the door didn't want to shut the cuttings would only close half way so u can still see in from our side the room smelled bad so we just got are money back and we paid 100 for one nite online it was not worth it
- Josh (2/5): - I was moved 4 times before landing in a room that didn't smell like an ash tray. My shower had a handle busted off and was just laying in the bottom of the tub, there was no warm water, my bedding smelled like cat urine, the floor was so bad that one morning I got out of bed and my foot cracked the flooring and I felt like was I was going to fall through. When I brought that up to the front desk I was told it's an old building these things happen. I asked for a refund and was told no. I ended up checking out early and asked if I could get some money back and was told no because I was locked into a weekly rate and that the daily rates would cost me more. I was NOT recommend this motel to anyone!
- Richard (10/5): - Very kind front office concierge.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Ayani (10/5): - Good place I could tell it was family-owned
- Shannon (2/5): - Bedsheets were stained with blood. Dirty walls & floors
- Findlay (2/5): Very poor -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - We are okay with the place. Friendly staff.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (4/5): - The room was not dirty or clean. The furniture had stains on them and I didn't feel comfortable setting on it.
- Mandie (2/5): - Cockroaches! Even on the side that they say is “remolded “ and costs more is a lie. Uncovered light fixtures and outlets, nasty bedding. Stinks. And the worst is a owner and his staff.. not only did they wear the same clothes every single day and look unbathed themselves but they are scammers just trying to up charge you for nasty stinky dirty rooms! Run!!! Don’t stay!!
- Canada (5/5): Passable - It was near shopping center and restaurant Door was secure . Mechanics came but didn't complete fixing door. Couldn't use dead bolt
- Anastacio (6/5): - Dirty rooms unsafe not professional staff
- Hayworth (1/5): Bad -
- DOUGLAS (6/5): Just sleep if you can no comfort - Really bad floors 4 to 5 ft shower head no pressure contanental breakfast lol if you call it that was very poor
- Amanda (2/5): - Bed was nasty, stains all over the bedding and a ring from pee under theattress and on box spring. Love and dead roaches everywhere, white mold by the fridge, mold on the top inside of microwave. Booked me twice for two days instead of one and refusing to refund.
- Roame (8/5): Very good - They shower did not work or They shower and did not work
- Haley (4/5): Scottish Inns IS NASTAY - Scottish Inns Hotels was groß. We had to ask for a new room within 10 minutes or it would be final. The first room we got, the couch had all sorts of stains, even the bed sheets etc.
Bathrooms looked like they do not get cleaned at all, nasty floors and fixes within. They just left knobs off the tub etc. definitely didn’t shower here.
The second room was better, less stains at least. The bathrooms were gross, the countertop etc. we’re just left, no Clorox wipe or nothing. Plain nasty. We wouldn’t let any of our stuff touch the floor and barely brought any bags in. Thank god we slept okay.
DO NOT STAY UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HERE.
- Sofia (1/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE - nothing When I arrived, the place looked sketchy. I checked in and the room was horrible. The floor felt like I to was going to fall through. Like loose plywood under the carpet. The bathroom was dirty, the bed smelled of sweat. Went to place something in the fridge and it was frozen over. Decided to then heat something up and there was old, moldy food in the microwave.
They said they would refund my money but that has not happened.
DO NOT BOOK HERE.
- Downey (8/5): Very good -
- Wright (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Maybe a one star, definitely not a two - I've never had a desk clerk demand a cash security deposit after taking my credit card to pay for the room.
The inroom TV system was out of commission.
- Nadejda (8/5): - Room could be cleaner...
- Joe (4/5): - I don't like booking for 4 people and only getting 2 towels and when i asked about it they wanted to get an attitude! Also they don't clean room daily, so u have to deal with trash and go get towels (thet wasn't ready until 830 pm)every night! Also they acted like it was inconvenient for them!
- Lucas (4/5): - I felt like a hooker in a truck stop. I've never been so concerned for my safety. If it wasn't the quickest one to get to before we fell asleep driving I would've never in a million years stayed here. Never again. I'm surprised I didn't get AIDS just using the bathroom. I sincerely hope this place gets closed down. It's a safety hazard. Also. Our door did not even close the door frame was coming off of the wall. Terrifying.
- Gary (5/5): It was ok for the price. -
- Michael (8/5): Good - Easy in and out. Bed was comfortable. Tv worked perfectly. Noisy at times. No hair dryer. Shower control was difficult.
- Thomas (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ownby (1/5): Room was not very clean.was not what was expected.was not worth the price to stay. - Staff was friendly Cleaner room, bigger bed
- Stuart (3/5): Poor - Roaches
- Douglas (7/5): Good -
- Laura (2/5): - Awful!
- Richard (6/5): - Property is older, rooms need fresh coat of paint. If you just need a bed for the night at low rate, this place is OK.
- Nitin (2/5): Very poor -
- nathaniel waya nuda (8/5): - Friendly staff.
- Nicholas (4/5): - Staff was rude. Told there was breakfast then just coffee and juice after I talked the clerk into unlocking the lobby at 9 am. Took an act of Congress to get WiFi password
- James (7/5): Good -
- King (1/5): Don’t. - They will take your money
- Elizabeth (2/5): - It was quite literally impossible to stay there overnight due to the absolute filth of the motel. Despite immediately checking back out, we were refused a refund due to it being over 10 minutes since check in. The state of this place is genuinely concerning.
- Amanda (3/5): Poor -
- Vesta (6/5): Pleasant - Good value and great location!
- Jenn (7/5): Good - Easy check in with nice helpful employees clean and comfortable rooms Nothing
- Jason (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lynn (4/5): Questionable stay - I had to clean the bathroom. The refrigerator didn’t work and they keep the outside lights on all night. Didn’t know I was going to have to give a $20 cash deposit to stay a night. Mold in the room
- Rodney (4/5): - Don’t
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad place. But cheap - The photos online didn’t compare to what the actual room look like. The sheets were dirty still like someone has greasy hand from eat food. The floor was warped and had several soft spots. Didn’t have enough towels for 2 Bedroom Pl. and not enough soap.
- Friemel (5/5): Passable - Good location, and the lady at the front desk was nice - The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. There was coffee, some orange juice, some oatmeal and some one kind of cold cereal. I really expected something more.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Jessica (1/5): Pretty gross- only go if you must - The only thing that was beneficial was how nice the front desk women were and how close the hotel was to Bonnaroo Music Festival (which is the reason I was in Manchester). Also, across the street is a Walmart, Dollar Tree, and a decent Mexican spot and other food locations, so getting supplies was super easy and walkable. There is a fridge and microwave which was nice as well. I am not a picky person and rarely complain about accommodations since I can sleep on the floor of most places without any complaints. However, this room was gross- smelled like smoke and mold. Stains and cigarette holes on blankets and a large gap under the door that any critter could easily enter the room if wanted. Window curtains melted on the window- not a recent occurrence from the looks of it, and there has been no effort to clean it off the window. The shower curtain was so gross it was crusted shut and wouldn't even open. I wore flip-flops in the shower because I was not going in there barefoot. Ended up going to Walmart and the $1 store to buy my own sheets, shower curtain, and cleaning supplies in order to stay. If it wasn't for Bonnaroo, I would not have stayed there. Also, they skyrocketed the prices because of the music festival, and it was around $250 a night for an that's absolutely crazy for what was offered.
- Charles (1/5): Bad -
- haleigh (10/5): - Great spot for a quick night. Pool was closed and Breakfast was minimal
- Washington (2/5): Not completely satisfied. - Where it is located at No breakfast, even though I paid for it... not so quiet either.
- Timothy (1/5): Street view on on Google is different when you pull up - Didn't stay there I didn't stay there cuz there was a bunch of crackheads hanging out in the parking lot and after I cancel my reservation they try to charge me
- Amber (1/5): Worst hotel stay, ever. - I'm not sure where to start. First, we arrived around 1pm and the weather was around 94°. The lobby was closed so we had to stand in a sauna hot box for over 20 mins just to get keys. Upon arrival in our room, the door was open. The sheets had blood stains, reeked of cigarettes, blood stains on the bed and a bug! We refused this room and got another room. To our suprise, we walked in thr next room and someone was in there!!! After an hour and a half, we finally got a room that was liveable for a few days. We almost slept in my car but it was just too hot. Do not stay at this place. It's awful. We didn't like anything about this place other than it was a few miles from Bonnaroo.
- Smith (2/5): Meh. - ……it had an air conditioner Bed bugs. Roaches. Flys. Gnats. Literally poop on the Barth room wall. Got bit by the bed bugs.
- Macie (2/5): - The sheets were stained, the carpet was wet, and the walls were in rough shape. The front desk lady was nice though; she did all she could do for us and we got our money back. If you’re staying for bonnaroo, I would avoid this one.
- Sondra (4/5): Do not stay here - This place was filthy. The bathroom had dirt all around the baseboard like a gas station bathroom.
- Kelly (1/5): Bad -
- Gilmore (1/5): Won’t be back - Location is good Charged me for my stay on my credit card that was just supposed to be for hold. I was double charged and they refused to refund. Told me to get my money back from Booking.com instead
- EMILIO (4/5): - It was a no smoking room, but smelled like an ashtray and was dilapidated.
- Kayla (1/5): Bad - We let the property know we would be arriving super later/early in the morning and only be in for a few hours. Our reservation got canceled after we had paid for it
- earl (4/5): - The bed and air conditioner smells bad and rude maids
