• Christine (5/5): Convenient location for GT - Location was perfect as we were attending a show at the Princess Theatre opposite. It was convenient and reasonably priced for somewhere just to sleep but probably wouldn't stay again unless rooms are refurbished! Mattress was very basic and uncomfortable. Room was very tired and tatty with grubby marks and stains on the walls, lovely big window but windowsill inside the room needs sanding down and painting as paint was cracked all over and peeling off😳 Bottom 6 rows of wall tiles in shower need some serious attention - mould stains all along grouting looked so awful we didn't use the shower 😱

Drinks etc was reasonably priced. We didn’t have food there so can’t comment on that. Lovely friendly staff who helped with parking. We will definitely be back. Nothing

Car park overnight is £8 in the multi storey but watch your wheels on those bends it’s tight. Didn’t like the lift taking forever Property definately needs an overhaul Rooms are basic but definately clean Always people talking in corridors very early morning as there are bus tours at the hotel.

• Kenneth Winstone (8/5): Nice warm comfortable hotel - Nice hotel good position for town harbour bus stops, entertainment every night as coach parties staying there, good breakfast and nice rooms nice warm comfortable hotel. Breakfast finished at 9am, right on main road so no parking there we were lucky we have a blue badge so could park on main road.

• James (8/5): Great locations and good price - Great location for Torquay centre. Great price when compared to other hotels. Car parks close by. Bed for the night, reasonable bathroom/shower. Did take ear plugs as it was next to the main road. Staff were friendly. For the price it was what I was expecting. Unfortunately the mattress had collapsed on one side so I spent the night feeling like I was about to fall off!
• Hilary (10/5): Fabulous staff - The staff were AMAZING. (Note to Management:- Look after them well, they are worth their weight in gold.) It MORE THAN made up for the slightly run down rooms etc. Would stay again in a heartbeat just because of the location and FABULOUS reception staff Thankyou! Slightly run down rooms made it harder for cleaning staff to make it look & feel as clean as it could be. A fridge in room was missed

It’s very convenient and close to shops, restaurants, and everything you might need, which made getting around very easy. The shower pressure was quite weak, which made it difficult to properly enjoy using it. The room itself felt a bit worn out and looked quite tired, so it didn’t feel as comfortable or fresh as expected. Also, there is only one elevator in the whole hotel, so there was often a wait, especially during busy times, which was a bit inconvenient.

We were on the 4th floor and there was very little water pressure, subsequently the quality of the shower was very poor. There was no way to control the temperature of the room.

• Kevin (7/5): Disappointed from pervious stays - Staff were lovely and friendly but cleaners for the rooms were rude and didn't speak when spoken too, food was warm but ok, not like it used to be 1st room was small and had to use too many stairs to get too, it smelt disgusting, changed rooms and it was alot bigger but was really dirty, dust behind the bedside tables, shower cubile was so small and had alot of mould around the tiles and shower head, toilet ro holder hanging off the wall, definitely gone down hill since our last visit. Beer was flat and run out of spirits and told not expecting a delivery until Friday!!
• Lee (8/5): Location, clean, comfortable and great value - Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, we had a corner room on the 3 floor with a nice view over the beach and harbour, discounted parking nearby great value for money and close to every thing, beach, harbour and shops. Highly recommend great value for money. Lift only one and slow. Not a deal breaker by far just a little frustrating.

• Grzegorz (3/5): Disappointed - Nothing , If you don’t care about comfort, this hotel is for you. It was dirty, and the bathroom looked terrible. The room didn’t resemble the photos at all. The bathroom was unclean, the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, and there was dust everywhere. Breakfast was served at ridiculous hours—7:30 to 9:00 is definitely too short a time window. The hotel ruined our entire stay. We feel tired, sleep-deprived, and disappointed.

Toilets wasn't fixed to floor and didn't flush properly.

Breakfast ok although replenishing the cooked breakfast was a little slow Bedroom was clean and in good order The whole place needed a makeover. It had character but generally it was all a little dated, with chipped paint and so on. The double bed was just that, a double rather than king-sized which is the norm in places like Premier Inn. There is only one lift that holds 4 people so the queue for it was often long. The guy on reception was somewhat unprofessional passing comments that could be misconstrued as insults.

We took one look and decided to go to Wetherspoons. I wouldn't let this put you off as it's so cheap to stay there that you can either eat the awful brekkie or go elsewhere.

Lacks quality. - The room was comfortable and clean The Hotel looks tired and in need of refurbishment, The room was too hot and no means of cooling it, not even opening the windows. The room was not serviced on one of the days because the staff dont work on Wednesdays. The catering staff in the restaurant looked generally uninterested in what they were there for.
