Luis (8/5): - We enjoyed the place and it was very well kept. All in working conditions and clean. Communication was a bit challenging as there is no receptionist around the clock. Most information is clear and easy to follow. The one difference we found here, compared to other hotels, is that you are required to leave the entire property by 11am. Besides this, we enjoyed the stay and it is close to Indiana Beach with a nice view to the river across the street.

STACEY (10/5): - This is the 2nd year we have gone there in the Summer. I am so happy that we found this place. It is tucked away in a little private corner without all of the traffic and noise. It is very cute and furnished with all you need. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Richard (10/5): Great Stay!!! - We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in studio 2. The place was well appointed for a couple, and very clean. Seemed like it had been completely repainted recently. 5 out of the 8 units had new roofs, so they are definitely working and spending to keep the place nice. The units are in a circle with a small pool in the middle. The pool was nice to use with supplied floaties and stuff. Great location to IB, and a neat general store a 1/4 mile up the road. We will definitely stay here again. Photos are of the lake which is right across the road.

Eric (10/5): - This is a nice quiet location across from the lake. Just a 5 minute drive to IN Beach. They have everything you need for a laid back relaxing stay. We actually stayed here 10 years ago and came back because we really liked it. Nothing has changed except it’s a bit older, which is to be expected. The owners thought of everything, including the use of grills scattered around and even fire pits.
Susan (6/5): - Property was clean. Served the purpose of a clean place to stay. Would not recommend staying in the winter, as the floors were cold. Hot water was limited by a very small water heater. Nothing fancy about this place, but again, it did serve it's purpose.

King size bed a bit odd to get into because of it being in a nook but very comfortable. Nice view of the lake across the street. Perfect for the length of our stay.

Cable and a DVD player was provided but I did bring my tv (I'm a big gamer) the screen/tv that was provided did not have an HDMI port. But other than that everything was great. Oh, I can't forget about the onsite pool, little play area for the kids, grills and fire pit was a plus. It was not far from the amusement park. I would most definitely stay here again.

Pam (10/5): Great location, cute cottages - These cottages offered everything I was looking for on my vacation. They are clean, adequately stocked with kitchen items, spacious, close to the action but far enough away to relax when needed. The manager goes above the norm to ensure your stay is as good as you expected it to be. We are already looking forward to going back next year!!

Carole (2/5): A horrible experience overall!! - Upon entering the cabin i slipped on the throw rug inside the door and almost fell. The bedroom with the door on it had water all under the bed. The bathroom floor was wet throughout. the floor in the living room was filthy. It had not been swept in quite some time. The couch in the living room was covered with BODILY FLUIDS!! There was no WIFI available and the TV did not work!! THE SERVICE WAS NON-EXISTANT!!
Sabrina (10/5): Excellent Cottages - I personally love the blue door cottages and here's why . It has only a few handful of cottages in its own private spot . So the pool & playground , firepits are always available to have time alone or for kids to meet other kids in a safe area where you can see them from your porch that also comes with chairs to relax on . They have cornhole boards . I brought mine and didn't even need too . Everyone is chill and not uptight / campers / owners both times I stayed . Fishing is righr across the street and we caught fish . It's right by a bait shop and gas stations which is helpful when your thirsty/ need something quickly . It's always clean and rooms are always ready on time . I am a season pass holder for Indiana beach the past 2 yeard now and been going since diapers. This is the place to stay, prices are great for everything included . They have utensils and full sized fridges , ice cube trays things you may forget are pretty much there . Wifi was strong. My son had a great time and thanked me 100 times. I won't stay anywhere else now. Close to the drive in theater as well! hope they forever stay open and management is always the same owners . amber (10/5): Quaint place, great location! - We nearly had the whole resort to ourselves as our stay was towards the end of the season! The inside of the cabin/room seemed to have been recently updated with fresh paint/fixtures/flooring and it was clean overall with nice fresh linens. We booked last minute and had great communication with the manager who was super accommodating! We brought a boat, so it was great to be able to dock it just across the street. Plus.. the launch ramp was just a quarter mile or so down the road. We'll most definitely be back and we're looking forward to staying there when the restaurant bar (which was being remodeled) is open!

Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall it was a very nice place to stay and we would probably stay there again. But next time even though there were only two of us, we would opt for a larger unit since there was no place to eat meals except for a table outside. Since it was in the 30's outside (November) that was not an option! The kitchen and bathroom floors could have been a little cleaner, but that is not a deal breaker. The worst problem which we do think needs to be addressed is the fact that we could only get lukewarm water in the shower. The kitchen and bathroom sinks both had nice hot water, but with the shower turned to its max, the water never got hot. Since we had been out in the cold all day birdwatching, a hot shower would have been nice. Also be aware that the water has an off taste to it. We bought some bottled water to drink.

Shellie (6/5): Great little town, dirty cottage. - Monticello is a beautiful area but we were actually in Indiana to visit family in Lafayette so we had to commute each day. (Purdue vs Ohio State game...) The cottage was disappointing, only because it was very clear that it hadn’t been cleaned well in quite sometime. The coffee pot was filthy, as were most of the dishes and silverware. We made a trip to the local Walmart to buy a cheap coffee pot, pillows, pillowcases and blankets as we didn’t feel comfortable using the ones that had been provided.
Cara (8/5): - The cottage was nice and clean. We could have used a few more cooking utensils and we only had 2 bowls. Basic toiletries, such as soap or shampoo/conditioner, would have also been nice, or at least put on the website to bring your own. Luckily, I always bring my own when on a trip. The pool was clean and my kids enjoyed it!

Very updated and clean! We loved the pool also! And the owner was so nice and accommodating! The only thing I wish, is that it had lights in or around the pool so you could swim at night!
