- Elaine (2/5): - The room was hot ( the AC had not been turned on ahead of time. Only 1 lamp out of 3 worked! The receptacle for the coffee machine and hair dryer did not work! Took the coffee maker over to the 1 lamp that worked and had plug ins and the blessed coffee machine did not work! I would not recommend this place to anyone

She tossed the hotel card after I signed everything and walked away. The room was awful. Cigarette burns all over the bathtub, dirty towels and sheets. $110 for that?!

Asked for clean towels, he took ours washed them and brought them back. It was a little odd since most places just give u new ones. Overall it wasn't that bd

- Todd (8/5): - This was not a family type vacation. I came to fish and wanted a nice clean place to clean up and sleep. The room was clean the water was hot. The manager was very nice and helpful. He keeps a close eye on the place and really wants you to enjoy your stay. I would stay there again.

- Chantelle (2/5): Find somewhere else for your money - Air conditioning barely works, we had to move rooms. I donāt know if itās their attempt to save money, but we walked into a room that was probably 85 degrees, air was off. Turned it on and barely worked. We had to drive to dollar general to get a fan just to be somewhat comfortable. Men outside blaring music. There was a needle beside the bed. Will never stay again.

- Elizabeth (2/5): Awful service - The front desk guy woke us up at 1 am to ask why there was a duplicate registration for us in the system. When I was upset that he had woken us for something so small, I expressed how frustrated I was. Both that night and the following morning I asked him to not come wake us that late unless it was an emergency. He tried to say we hadnāt been there earlier (we actually got back to our room at 8pm which is pretty early!) and then that it wasnāt a big deal. I am Not sure if he just didnāt care or if he literally didnāt understand why waking someone at that hour would be an issue at all
- Richard (8/5): Nice simple place - Nice place to spend the night and plenty of parking. I had to transport a Mack box truck and had no issues finding parking here. My only complaint was that the heater did not work in the room so I was freezing but I just needed to spend the night.
- Cameron (2/5): Never Again - Walked in the room and was overwhelmed by weed smoke as if someone just left the room. The couch and bed were both dilapidated. I do understand itās a business but this establishment should be paying customers to stay in these horrendous conditions.
- Robert (4/5): - Not a good experience. The first room we got, the AC was not working & room smelled musty. The owner confirmed it. He allowed us to change rooms. Later, my wife discovered that the TV remote wasn't working. One of the batteries was leaking. The owner replaced the batteries, told me I would have to reprogram the channels. The TV is poor quality, cheap which was indicative of everything associated with this motel. When he moved us over, he asked if we had touched anything. He took that hand towel we used and swapped it with the one from the 2nd room. Really cheap but then again he was driving a MB he had to pay for. My wife said when she turned on the water in the new room, a spider came out of the sink. She didn't tell me until after we had checked out, btw. We also found a used towel hanging on the inside of the bathroom door on the new room too. We stayed 2 nites and there was no maid service after the first nite. This motel is a very old style, reminiscent of the 1960's. It has some updates, but the AC is still the old style on the outside wall. It was cold near the unit and hot on the other side of the room, especially when it kicked off. There are no coat hangers to hang anything up. It felt like every possible corner that could be cut to save money was. Even the 3 light bulbs over the mirror at the sink was 2 different color bulbs. Overall, the room was under lit, again, marginal wattage in every bulb. I would not have such hi expectations if it wasn't $140/night.
- Edeard (2/5): - 24 hour restaurant was closed weeks before, why I choose the place. No breakfast or anything. Room was horrible, place was not very clean. Lamp did not work among other things. Room next to us must of been booked by drug dealers, door closed and opened at least 200 times in a 4 hour period. As for others staying there, was no more than 4-5 other vehicles in parking lot for the night.
- John (2/5): - Room was filthy, carpets are stained, bed covers were stained and had burn marks on them. The room smelled like someone was growing a marijuana farm in it or the the rooms on both sides. Fortunately we only needed a place to sleep before heading back home. The website was very misleading and the rate was way more than anyone should have to pay for the condition of that room. You couldnāt pay me any amount of money to stay there again.
- Cary (2/5): Disgusted - After getting there and looking at the room and seeing the filth and the condition that the room was in, I was showed four other rooms, and everyone of them was in the same kind of condition. There was giant stains on the carpet, stains on the bedspreads patches in the walls that was not painted, mold on the doors and ceilings. Bathroom sinks were busted Toilets had the wrong lids on them and the bathtub in one of the rooms looked like it had blood on it. I would highly recommend not to book a room at this place.
- john (6/5): - There is NO restaurant on the property as stated in the description of the motel. It is an older motel that has had some renovation. The room was clean but the bed was a little soft for us. Otherwise, the room was fine and quiet. Location is about 7 miles from Milton so the only businesses close-by are gas stations and a Waffle House.

None of the lamps worked but one, the AC barely worked. The furniture was all busted up and there was a hole in the bathroom door like someone punched it. The bathroom floor had mold and dirt caked in the corners. The sheets were stained and there were tons of holes in the blankets. The beds were lumpy and hard. The man at the front couldnāt even find my reservation and all he could tell me when I left was āsorryā. I only last two hours in there. So I didnāt even spend the night. This places needs to be shut down.

The ac unit smelt like mildew. Mostly bad smells. Beds were uncomfortable but not gross. We got out quickly in the morning, certainly no desire to sleep in or linger.

Management does not listen to requests, requested no cleaning and they still went in the room and removed towels.

Some type of bug painted into the wall. No towels in the room, and I called the office 3 times trying to get the password to the WiFi and nothing. I will never be going back here.

- JOSEPH (4/5): A safe place to sleep but it is very rundown. - I feel like I was gouged for $273 dollars for one night at this rundown motel. I stayed there for two reasons. 1. Family safe- there is very low crime rate in the area compared to Pensacola. 2. Less expensive than the other motels in the area.
- Kristina (8/5): Affordable ride to the beach - The outside is just a one story motel but, I was clean, safe and easy to check in. Good water pressure. Everything worked. No mold or weird smells. I would totally stay there again

The issue is before blackwater inn canceled my room, I didnāt receive any type of warning. No phone call nor email. So I drove over 100 miles to get told I had nowhere to sleep that night at 12:30 am!

The bathtub had hair in it. It was overpriced by about $50. Ridiculously rude staff. We ate in the restaurant in the parking lot and the waitress said that she hears a lot of complaints on how rude he is.

There is standing water in the carpet by the sink and once I stepped out of the room and back in it hit me like a ton of bricks---mold. I didn't notice the water until I was about to check-out.

First of all, maybe they need a calendar by the phone because he was incorrect. Iāll never book a room at this hotel and I donāt suggest anyone else to do so. When I contacted customer service for hotels.com I was told I couldnāt get a refund due to their hotel policy and thereās nothing they can do about the situation. Iāll never use this site again also.
- James (8/5): Older motel but very well redone - An older motel but the rooms have been redone, beds are comfortable, ac is cold. You can see the pride in ownership in the rooms.

- x (6/5): - The staff was very sweet. This motel was recently updated and they were very proud of the new rooms they were putting together. We checked in after running from an AWFUL motel and they were the last place with an open room so they were like a beacon of light lol. As soon as we checked in they cleaned a room for us to meet our needs. The area is okay, and there were a few sketchy people outside of the motel but, what can you do. The room itself was pretty good considering what we were expecting; the bathroom couldāve been better but other than that everything felt decently clean and comfortable. Not my choice of a vacation stay, but itās good for the price and the staff was amazing.
