This is room 1D in one of the most beautiful and impressive solid teak houses in Bali. Made entirely of handcrafted teak in the traditional manner, this two-story building offers a total of four bedrooms (two on each floor), and looks over the gardens and pool area, to the hills and jungles beyond the resort. On the upper floor, which can be accessed separately from the lower floor, there are two bedrooms, one with two single four-poster beds and the other with three single four poster beds, thus allowing a maximum of five guests. The private bathroom features a shower or bathtub. The entire building is furnished in fresh white and brown batik, and all rooms have mosquito nets and ceiling fans.

Marywanderlust (10/5): - It was very peaceful, tranquil and quiet. It's very near the beach with a few great spots to swim. The staff are very helpful and attentive also helping either plans and booking transport nothing is a bother. They all very welcoming. Had two massages inside and outside spa. Outside is great when adjoing road is quiet. Great having spa area for ice, and fire and a jacuzzi. They make great meals and fantastic cocktails. Great also to learn the support they provide for people with dementia or other extra holiday needs. I will return.

Charming traditional architecture, wonderful garden and relaxing pool. The gym was basic but included all I needed. The location is a bit isolated, peaceful and by a black sand beach (you need a car to reach it, that hotel staff can arrange for you, as Grab is not available there) The room where we slept didn't have curtains. Our room had an internal window looking into a corridor shared with another room and this window could not be locked. However, there were no other guests and we never felt unsafe.

Would be good to have a few walking distance amenities eg cafe, restaurant. but the location was so peaceful and the resort was well catered. So perfect for a quiet getaway

ADOLFO (10/5): Perfect service - This is not a luxury hotel but the service and the attention to the customer needs is higher than a 5 star. So many small attention that you cannot find in other place. Just one small suggestion. You have great food, don’t try to give mistaked plate to your customer.

Veronica (2/5): - We booked this resort hoping to sleep, relax, and explore the eastern part of Bali. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The room was dirty — there was mold, cobwebs, and an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The furnishings and structure were old, with holes in the mosquito nets on the windows and above the bed. There were no curtains, so the room was bright from sunrise, and the lack of any soundproofing meant we could hear the road, as well as guests above and below us, at all hours. On top of that, there was construction work for a new house inside the resort. At 8 a.m. every morning, loud hammering began, waking us up and making it impossible to rest. Because of the works, we couldn’t even enjoy the swimming pool. Housekeeping only cleaned the room on the first night, and it was not serviced for the rest of our stay. Overall, the conditions did not match our expectations for comfort or cleanliness.

The staff went out of their way to compensate, but the resort should not have taken our booking or offered alternative accommodation.

Iva (9/5): Lovely hotel and staff - We stayed in a teak house and the room was lovely and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. I was worried we were going to hear other guests through the thin walls but we didn't hear any noise. The breakfast was the best we had in Bali. There were lots of options even for those who prefer sweet breakfast like me - e.g. waffles, pancakes, porridge, yoghurt, etc. The staff were all friendly and respectful. The hotel area was beautiful, ideal for relaxing. The water in the hotel is safe to drink so we didn't have to buy water for cleaning our teeth. I still bought water for drinking just to be safe. There is also a lovely rice field walk nearby. Highly recommend this hotel and would come back. I messaged the hotel to arrange the transport but they never responded to me so I had to arrange it with somebody else. Also, there was a confusion during our check in as they couldn't find my payment. I paid it about a month in advance. This was sorted quite quick though. The resort is a few meters from the beach but the beach is not the prettiest and it was dirty around there unfortunately. You can eat at the hotel or there is 1 restaurant on the beach but if you want to try something cheaper and more local you have to walk around 2 km as there is nothing close by the hotel.

Ronald (9/5): Our wonderful stay at Aashaya Jasmi Resort in Bali w - The location was very nice next to the sea. Resort gardens and lawns nicely set out. Meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Room very good fan and air conditioning good. Swimming pool very nice towels provided. Filtered water piped through resort tap water safe to drink. Staff were wonderful could not help you enough. would not hesitate to stay again. A little away from mainstream shopping areas taxi service organised by resort very good. Barking dogs would often set up for short periods at night.

Samara (9/5): One of the most delightful experiences ever. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this charming boutique resort with family - Every room is delightful. The pool and grounds are lovingly maintained and charming at every turn. Hearing the ocean waves crash was divine! We extended our stay to enjoy the peace and quiet! This is an area to tuck away from the busyness of cities in Bali. To be doted on by skilled and caring staff. The neighborhood isn’t the type for strolling, though it is safe, like much of Bali it is touched by poverty and unkempt. You can hear motorbikes as per usual for Bali, but only during the daytime.

The property had a water filter so you could drink from the tap. Top marks for that. Surprisingly we were the only guests & were treated like Royalty. Straight across the road from the beach. We walked around the beachside & this would have been the nicest resort. The local people seemed to be making an effort to clean up the rubbish each day. If we go back to Jasri we would definitely stay here again Wifi was a little patchy but it was ok

It’s located right on the beach, with its own restaurant, or you can walk to the warung on the beach. Highly recommend! WiFi was patchy! But that was literally it.

Beautyfull garden, nicely appointed rooms, excellent location. the ocean view villa is really comfortqble.. My wife and ne ebjoyed 3/nights there. Enjoyed great breakfast and private villa style feeling, which you dont get in the bigger family tourist redorts in the area.. Nice pool area and spa menu on the ocean shore.. They are improving the place and building, you can sense they want to bring their allready nice guest experience to a next l3vel... Look forward to come back

There were some sort of seeds on my bed, that kept reappearing every 10-15 mins. We couldn’t get the ac to turn on and the electricity went out during the night, so the fan also wouldn’t work. It made for a sweaty sleep.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing pool to cool off and nice nearby restaurants. Since the rooms are built of wood and quite thin walls, you can hear your neighbours very clearly. Sometimes we felt that the neighbour is in our room. Thus we didnt feel much privacy while staying in the room.

Becky (10/5): Perfect hideaway in real Bali! - We loved our stay, a perfect hideaway within a Balinese community. Beautiful complex, amazing team taking care of anything needed from the maintenance and grounds team to the front of house. True hospitality from everyone, Wayan was a star, as were all the teams. Breakfast was great the biggest choice we have had. We stayed in the traditional house and had a triple room, very clean and the team came and checked rooms daily for anything we needed. We were sad to leave! Lots of investment is taking place to make it even more beautiful. If we ever go back we will definitely stay there again. We didn’t plan to stay longer!
Katrina (10/5): Hidden gem - Absolutely loved our stay at Aashaya. You really don’t need to leave the resort at all. We were in town for a wedding and turned out to be the best part of our trip. Amazing food/drinks and on site massages for great prices. The staff Wayan and Ketut went over and above to make our stay amazing as well as all the kitchen staff who worked overtime to feed our big group! I will definitely be back. Nothing.

Restaurant menu has plenty of options - The property is a beautifully decorated and presented property. It backs onto the beach and still maintains a peaceful and quiet ambience every day. I liked the property overall. Didn’t have any note worthy dislikes.

Bence (10/5): Exceptional - Very close the beach. Nice garden with pool and seats. Nice breakfast and dinner. You can also hire a scooter. Can pay by card. Good WiFi and AC in the room. Very local architecture, cosy place. We love it. To reach the Virgin beach, you should hire a scooter or taxi.

Lide (10/5): Lovely, peaceful and charming - Lovely! I would come back. Best place as a base to visit the east of Bali. Charming and peaceful. The sound of the ocean. Very clean rooms, great shower!, nice swimingpool, Very kind and welcoming hosts. They helped me arrange trips, ticekts and drivers. Travelling alone, I felt taken care of. Thank you! All was good. Might be good to know that there was no direct sea view in some rooms. But it does not take away from the charm and welcoming vibe of the hotel.

Julius (8/5): Very good - - very friendly people - nice garden - uncomplicated and cheap rental of scooter - the location is a bit secluded, i.e. you need a Scooter or Taxi for Restaurants outside the resort. However, if you have a scooter you can visit, e.g., Tirta Gangga or Taman Ujung which is nice - the restaurant in the Resort is ok, food is good but not extraordinary, prices are ok but might be a bit cheaper when comparing to other locations - the laundry service is more expensive compared to other locations (i.e. in another resort during our holidays we were offered 25k per kilo which was the price for a single shirt at Jasri which is close to european prices)
Joost (9/5): Great location in Jasri, well-kept resort, friendly staff, good breakfast. - Very nice, green and well-kept resort. Has a traditional Balinese feel to it, with a modern twist. Good location. Resort can arrange rental motorbikes. Breakfast is good. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to dislike in particular.

Shelaye (10/5): Paradise found. - This place is a gem! Just book. We stayed in the ocean view cottage. It is perfect. Beds super comfy and bathroom sparkling. Our fave part of the day was sitting with our feet up on the porch with a drink. The staff were just wonderful...always smiling and welcoming. We will be back. Nothing.
Rodney (10/5): - An absolute slice of paradise. Incredibly serene and relaxing, the frounds are an oasis. All staff were amazing and attentive. Everything was impeccably clean . The food was delicious, well prepared from locally sourced ingredients and catered for all tastes. We could have stayed forever.

Peter (10/5): A lovely, freindly and eco conscious resort to stay at. - This resort is just a lovely hospitable friendly oasis to stay at. The rooms were modern but constructed as old school balinese. I particularly liked the eco-friendly nature of the place... the fact that they had a refill station for your water bottles; shampoo and soap coming from lovely little ceramic dispensers. I also liked the fact you could choose between fan or AC. And althoug there were enough restaurants around the road out in front, if you wanted to, you didn't have to leave the resort, as their own restaurant was serving really nice food itself. The pool and deck chairs with their own individucal towells was also really first rate. Nothing, really couldn't find anything to complain about.

Jim (8/5): Nice place in E Bali short walk to ocean. - Nice clean, quiet rooms near the rocky beach. They allowed us to check in early. Door did not lock from inside, menu small and execution only ok. A bit pricy for that style of room, no sea view from room, no gym.

Location was good but needed to travel a bit to see sites and white sand beach. Not really a problem because accommodation was so good and managed very well with friendly and professional staff.

Our room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and nice shower. The pool area was very relaxing with lovely vegetation surrounding it. The pool area was beautiful. We ate in as there isn't a lot nearby. The food was always delicious We had the most relaxing perfect 2 night stay and were very sad to leave.
