• Renate (10/5): Urlaub in herrlicher Lage - Die Lage der Terrasse beim sehr guten Frühstück mit herrlichem Ausblick auf Meer und Berge ist faszinierend schön. Auch liegt das Hotel in ruhiger Umgebung. Agios Nikolaos erreicht man in wenigen Autominuten. Dort kann man gut Abendessen, Einkaufbummeln, Baden und Schifffahren. Enttäuscht waren wir, dass wir nicht wie gebucht ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit direktem Meerblick erhielten, sondern mit seitlichem Blick aufs Meer. Doch der Blick auf der Frühstücksterrasse gleichte dies aus. Der Warmwasserhahn musste in unserem Zimmer einige Minuten laufen bis warmes und danach auch heisses Wasser kam.

Very old fittings, rusty bins .. things that could improve the place not done . Feels like they are running out of money .

• MICHAELA (8/5): Soggiorno relax - Personale molto gentile e sorridente, accoglienza perfetta. Pulizia tutti i giorni. Colazione a buffet e la colazione si faceva sul terrazzo con vista. Piscina. Spiaggia a pochi passi a piedi. Camera (suite con piscina privata condivisa) grande con wc e doccia separati. Nel terrazzo con possibilità di prendere i sole su delle sdraio pouf + sedie e tavolo. Dog friendly. Silenzioso, ottimo per il totale relax. C’erano anche asciugamani per la piscina e macchina caffè con cialde (che tranne l’ultima giornata veniva sempre fatto il refill durante le pulizie) Piscina datata (sarebbe da fare manutenzione, mancavano dei pezzi, luce dentro l’acqua non funzionava, vetro ai lati del terrazzo intorno alla piscina rotto). Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare pancake nel buffet di colazione e magari qualche snack al bar da mangiare durante la giornata.
• Athena M. (4/5): - Η τοποθεσία ήταν ήσυχη , με όμορφη θέα και το πρωινό πολύ καλό, φρέσκο, με μεγάλη ποικιλία. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και προσπάθησε να βοηθήσει. Με το που μπήκαμε στο δωμάτιο, συνειδητοποιήσαμε ότι η τουαλέτα δεν είχε καθαριστεί (φαινόταν ξεκάθαρα χρησιμοποιημένη), γεγονός το οποίο αμέσως μας χάλασε τη διάθεση και τη χαλάρωση για την οποία ελπίζαμε. Σε κάθε κατάλυμα, αλλά πόσο μάλλον σε ένα ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων, όπου κάποιος πάει ενα ΣΚ ελπίζοντας να ηρεμήσει, κατι τέτοιο είναι απαράδεκτο. Ενημερώσαμε το προσωπικό, μας ζήτησαν συγνώμη και μας έστειλαν άμεσα κάποιον να καθαρίσει την τουαλέτα. Όσον αφορά το κρεβάτι, αποτελούταν από 2 στρώματα ενωμένα μάλλον καθώς υπήρχε ένα μικρό κενό, πράγμα άβολο. Έπειτα, όταν προσπαθήσαμε να κάνουμε μπάνιο, το νερό ήταν χλιαρό και όχι πολύ ζεστό. Τηλεφωνήσαμε στην υποδοχή και μας συμβουλεψαν να το αφήσουμε να τρεξει λιγη ώρα, αλλά και πάλι καυτό νερο ΔΕΝ ήρθε. Το ίδιο και το επόμενο πρωί που προσπαθήσαμε να κάνουμε ένα ντουζ πριν το check out. Θεωρώ πως τέτοιες καταστάσεις είναι λάθος, ειδικά για ένα ξενοδοχείο το οποίο θεωρητικά πουλάει ποιοτική διαμονη. Ζούμε Κρητη και θελαμε να ξεκουραστούμε ενα ΣΚ από τις δουλειές μας, αλλά η όλη συνθήκη δε το επέτρεψε όπως θα το θελαμε. Στην αναχώρηση, όταν τα ανεφερα όλα αυτα στην κοπέλα της υποδοχής ήταν ευγενεστατη και μου ζήτησε πολλά συγνώμη (παρόλο που πρέπει να τονιστεί ότι προφανώς δεν φταίνε για τις συνθήκες αυτές τα παιδιά που δουλεύουν).

Δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα νερό στο δωμάτιο σαν παροχή ούτε καν μικρό , κανείς δεν προσφέρθηκε να βοηθήσει με τις βαλίτσες ενώ η απόσταση από το πάρκινγκ μέχρι την ρεσεψιόν είναι σκαλιά και ανηφόρα , το δωμάτιο που έμεινα θέλει μια μίνι συντήρηση σε πρίζες που έμεναν στα χέρια μου όπως και τα χερούλια σε πόρτες και μπαλκονόπορτες 🫶🏽, τα σχόλια μου είναι ξεκάθαρα για καλό σκοπό ώστε να ενημερωθεί η επιχείρηση για μικρά θεματάκια που θα βοηθήσουν στην εξέλιξη της 😁✌️

• Brigitte (9/5): Gut für eine Durchreise - Hübsches Hotel, schöner Pool, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Selbst eine Nacht nach einem Regenguss waren die gefliesten Wege zum Lift immer noch nass und gefährlich zu gehen. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Hoteleingang ist nachts schlecht beleuchtet. Das Badezimmer in den kleinen Zimmern ist äußerst minimal zu begehen. Bett sehr weich.

• Jolanta (1/5): Unpleasant experience and unprofessional staff - The view and the bartender are the only nice things about this hotel. Please read other travellers’ reviews carefully so you know what you’re signing up for. The pictures online don’t align with the actual property. The swimming pool shown in the main photo is a private one. there is another pool next to the breakfast area though that most of the guest can use (see the picture). The real standard of this hotel is 3 stars, not 4. There was no hot water in the evening, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned upon arrival (dirty, mold and insects). I had an unpleasant experience with the car rental service arranged by them (Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere as there is plenty of other and cheaper options nearby). I got sick and informed the evening receptionist that I couldn’t drive. He said cancellation was no problem. The next morning, a different receptionist demanded I pay half the rental fee (€30) in cash, a condition I had never been told about. When I questioned that, she responded that the evening receptionist “didn’t know that” and became aggressive. When I asked for a receipt, she said she couldn’t provide one because “it’s not the hotel renting.” I insisted, and they told me it would be ready the next morning at 10:30. During my checkout at 11:00, they told me they didn’t have it and would send it via email once they received it. Only when I let them know I would like my money back or a receipt, otherwise I would contact the appropriate authorities about the issue, did they suddenly manage to send the receipt immediately. The experience was confusing and unpleasant. The staff make you feel uncomfortable and almost unwanted if you raise a legitimate issue. I would not stay there again.

• JPinBe (8/5): Good accommodation if you don't mind the (typical) small and half open Cretian shower bathrooms. - Buffet breakfast is good and varied. Koffie and fruit juices are good too. A wonderful sea view from the covered outside breakfast/pool area. Some rooms have a partially private pool adjoining their room, but these rooms look back toward the hill and not the sea. Very quiet area and only a short 7-8 min. drive from center of Agios Nikolaos. The showers in all the hotel's bathrooms (over heard from reception discussion with client) are small (max 80cm x 80cm) with only a short glass divider separating it from the wash basin. On the fully open side is the toilet which gets completely wet. A considerable amount of water lands outside the recessed shower floor and onto the floor in front of the wash basin where there is another drain. (We've since found similiar set-ups in other Crete hotels). The shower head holes were partially blocked and water sprayed every direction except straight down. (Room 303). Since I'd read of similiar complaints in this hotel's reviews I decided to spend 15 mins and unblock them all using a thin metal rod. After that it was almost as good as new and I had the satisfaction of providing the guests who came after us with less problems than we found. Except for the bathrooms, we were happy with the accommodation and breakfast. We paid 95 euros/night for 4 days late September '25 so we felt good with the price/quality ratio.

• Lorenzo (8/5): - Staff is very friendly, the location is fantastic and the breakfast has good variety Some details on the room seems overlooked. The curtains seem slashed by cat nails, the bin in the bathroom is rusted and spotted, so is the faucet. Many aspects of the room seems deteriorated and would require a renovation. In such a beautiful hotel those refinement seem a lost opportunity to get to an amazing level. And for personal taste, the mattress is too soft.

• Gorazd (9/5): Had a very nice stay at the hotel. - Friendly staff, spacious room, great breakfast, free parking was also nice. I dont know who designed the bathroom, but its a big problem, the shower spills the water everywhere and it gets very annoying fast.

• Celina (8/5): - Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und hatte für uns die perfekte Größe. Es liegt auf einem Hang, weshalb man eine wunderschöne Aussicht hat sowohl von der Bar (wo auch gefrühstückt wird) als auch von den Zimmern (sofern man eines mit Ausblick gebucht hat). Die Zimmer sind auf den ersten Blick auch sehr toll. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Zugang zu einem Gemeinschaftspool und Meerblick. Allerdings wären hier und da ein paar Renovierungen nötig. Man sieht, dass grade im Badezimmer einiges ausgetauscht werden müsste. Vor allem die Dusche war kaum nutzbar. Der Wasserdruck war so unfassbar niedrig (für Frauen mit langen Haaren umso umständlicher) und wir hatten oftmals nur kaltes Wasser, so stand es auch in einigen Bewertungen, die wir gelesen hatten. Auch am Pool waren Risse im Glas und Dreck auf dem Boden. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und die Cocktails in der Bar sind gut. Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt am Hotel. In der näheren Umgebung befindet sich ein Restaurant (Olgas Taverne) welches wir wärmstens empfehlen können. Agios Nikolaus (Stadtmitte) ist fussläufig in ca. 40 Minuten erreichbar auf dem Weg dorthin sind weitere Restaurants und Supermärkte zu finden.
• Guest (7/5): Excellent séjour à quelques minutes du centre de Agios NIKOLAOS. - Très bel emplacement : les chambres donnent sur la mer avec des levers de soleils magnifiques. Chambres confortables et un personnel attentif et accueillant. Petit déjeuner excellent, pris sur la terrasse avec une vue imprenable. Le seul point négatif est la taille de la salle de bain : lilliputienne !… Tout y est, mais il n’y à vraiment pas beaucoup de de place pour se bouger…

• Luca (8/5): Gran posizione - Camera bella, grande e pulita con terrazzino vista mare. Area colazione con vista stupenda, parcheggio privato. La piscina che si vede in foto è a disposizione solo di alcune camere e le aree verdi sono poco curate. I lettini della piscina comune sono un po’ vecchi e i cuscini macchiati.

• Georgios (7/5): - Το πρωί ήταν πολύ καλό εξαιρετικό ποιοτικό Το δωμάτιο τα θετικά είναι ότι έχει πολύ καλό στρώμα κοιμηθήκαμε και ξεκουράστηκα με. Ήτανε καθαρό μια χαρά. Στο δωμάτιο που ειμασταν στο 302 το κακό ήτανε ότι βγενανε τα νερά από το μπάνιο στο δωμάτιο και απλά εμείς βάζαμε πετσέτες κάτω για να μην βγενουνε έξω.

• Guest (8/5): - Das Frühstück war super, vielfältig. Es war sehr schön das Frühstück jeweils auf der Terrasse zu essen mit der Aussicht auf das Meer. Die Mitarbeiter waren alles sehr nett und konnten alle Fragen kompetent beantworten. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt, das Wasser war sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, beim Duschen hat man den ganzen Badezimmerboden unter Wasser gestellt, da keinen Duschvorhang oder Glas vorhaden. Das Hotel war extrem ringhörig, am Morgen jeweils schon früh wach da man aus dem Flur alles Geräusche/Gespräche der Mitarbeitenden und anderen Hotelgäste hörte. Die Preise im Hotel für Getränke waren meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn man auch kleine Snacks bestellen konnte an der Hotelbar. TV im Zimmer hatte kein Netflix, war deshalb die ganze Zeit ausgestellt. Im Umkleideraum und öffentlichen Duschen hatte es niergens eine Steckdose noch einen Föhn für die Haare.

• LEFTERIS (7/5): Γενικά μια όμορφη διαμονή - Είχε πολύ όμορφη θέα την οποία έβλεπες κι από τον χόρο της πισίνας. Το πρωινό ήταν αρκετά καλό! Στο δωμάτιο έκανε φασαρία το ψυγειακι του minibar επίσης ακουγόταν κι ένας ήχος απέξω σαν κάποιο μοτέρ. Η καθαριότητα θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερη όπως πχ ανελκυστήρας.
• mariette68 (7/5): Matig enthousiast - Ontbijt was prima erg uitgebreid. Ook de plek waar je kon ontbijten was prachtig. Als je aankomt denk je wat een mooi gebouw, maar als je binnen bent zie je dat er veel dingen kapot waren, achterstallig onderhoud. Echt te kleine douche als je ging douchen was alles echt klets nat.

Le petit déjeuner varié avec du jus d’oranges pressées . Les plages autour de l’hôtel ne sont pas tes accueillantes , il faut une voiture pour en trouver quelques unes .

Belle le aree comuni Bagno soggetto a facile allagamento dopo l'uso della doccia (a testimonianza la porta rovinata dal ripetuto contato con l'acqua). Frigorifero in camara estremamente rumoroso. Per un 4 stelle assenza di quelle accortezze che definiscono la fascia (almeno nella nostra camera)
