• Anne (7/5): I was very satisfied with the room and the location suited me perfectly. - My concerns were immediately rectified. It is an easy walk to many major sites and very safe. Many restaurants, bars and supermarkets are right there. It is dated and opposite a mosque so I was woken the first morning by the call to prayer, over a loud speaker system.

• Nelli (9/5): Great location, helpful host, very good value for money - The manager, Uğur, was extremely flexible and helpful; everything went smoothly. We were contacted upon arrival, and as a pleasant surprise, we were offered a room upgrade. He remained available throughout our stay, answering all questions promptly via WhatsApp. He provided practical tips, arranged transfers, and they even run a travel agency in the same building. The location is excellent—within walking distance of major sights such as Sultanahmet, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. The Little Hagia Sophia Mosque with its garden is just opposite the road. There are lots of friendly cats around (as everywhere in Istanbul). Restaurants are right next door. Despite being so central, the area is quiet—there is hardly any car traffic, as the street in front is mostly a cobblestoned pedestrian road with restaurant terraces. Overall, very good value for money.

Alle 5 del mattino siamo sempre stati svegliati dal canto del muezzin proveniente dalla moschea su cui si affaccia la stanza. Una cosa certamente suggestiva, ma per chi come noi non è abituato può essere un po' disturbante.

• Judit (8/5): Bon lloc - - Molt a prop dels grans punts d’interès. - Personal atent i amb ganes d’ajudar. - Està molt a prop de les vies del tren i malauradament s’escolten molt els trens. - Davant hi ha una mesquita i s’escolta moltíssim quan és hora de les oracions (5 cops al dia). - Molt mala connexió de wifi. - Quantitat d’estris molt justa per la cuina.

Треба на останньому поверсі трохи полагодити розсувні двері, якось дивно вони працюють

• Stoyanov (8/5): Приятен - Стаята е същата като на снимките малка и компактна. Имаше оставено кафе и чай в стаята за електрическа кана. Банята беше чиста и приветлива. Местоположението е централно и близо до основните исторически забележителности, наблизо минават и трамвай и автобусна линия, много удобно за малки ресторантчета за закуска, обяд, вечеря. Домакина е много отзивчив и отговорен човек ! Изключително съм доволен от отношението и качеството на предоставените услуги ! Имайте предвид, че джамията е отсреща и всяка сутрин в 6ч се чуват сирените. Матрака беше счупен, но домакина ни го смени след като се оплакахме :)

Excellent location on the edge of 'Old City' near the Blue Mosque and with a sea view from the pleasant balcony too! The manager Uğur was extremely helpful. No real kitchen facilities - only a microwave, sink and bottle fridge, which was disappointing as we do like to self-cater at times when on holiday due to dietary requirements. The walk-in shower tray would fill up & occasionally overflow while using the shower Stingy with toilet paper 😄

Nos dio la posibilidad de traslado al aeropuerto de forma opcional. Respondió a todas nuestras dudas. Nos pudimos quedar un día más y arreglamos un buen precio. El departamento está cerca de las principales atracciones. Está rodeado de restos. El resto que está al lado, es muy rico y económico. Recomendable. Hay una mesquita enfrente que no genera ningún problema a la hora de los rezos ya que lo hacen por altavoces. La zona es segura. No tiene que ver con el hospedaje pero hubo un corte de agua en gran parte de Estambul que duro bastantes horas. Ugur estuvo haciendo los reclamos correspondientes.

• Falguni (10/5): Comfortable and peaceful - The hotel is in a beautiful location. It’s a lovely cobble-stoned street with a garden view and very peaceful. The room is clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable. I arrived early from the bus station and Ugur helped me check in early. He had the room cleaned quickly and I was able to shower and get some rest. He helped me carry my luggage up & down the stairs, and whenever I needed him, he was quick to answer. He also helped me translate with my Uber driver when I was leaving and explain to him the directions of where I was heading. Thank you Ugur 😊 N/A

• Madalina` (10/5): Cosy, quiet place very close to everything - The location is perfect for visiting, very central but in a little, quiet corner. Being an old building it doesn’t have elevator and it is small. But we did not stay long in the room.

• Phillip (8/5): Good place to stay nearby all the sites. - Great location near everything. Wonderful balcony to relax. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. The room itself was small. Nowhere to pit luggage other than on the floor. Bed took up almost the entire space. Also there was a septic sewage smell from the bathroom. Tolerable if you keep the door closed. I was told it was due to the construction work nearby, so perhaps it was only temporary.

• Ta (10/5): Exceptional - Great quiet Location, walkable historic attractions. Right beside Küçük (little) Ayasofya masjid. You can see glimpse of the sea and ships. Otherwise overlooking a garden, the mosque and the pretty neighbourhood. 1st floor is office. 2nd and 3rd floor have 2 rooms each. 2nd floor rooms are bigger. 3rd floor has balcony which reduces room space a bit. Tasty restaurants nearby. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. We enjoyed our time with baby. Host was open about areas, tips and helped out with tourism including booking guided tours and transportation for us. Room (3rd floor) is small but good value for money. Balcony not usable when the guest in the room beside us smokes in his balcony.

• Enikő (9/5): Superb - During our stay in Istanbul, Elit Hotel by MK proved to be the perfect choice. The hotel’s location is excellent – close to the city’s main attractions, yet in a quiet and peaceful area ideal for relaxing. The room was a bit small, but the view – especially from the balcony rooms – was beautiful, overlooking the Little Hagia Sophia. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was perfectly adequate. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, and if we visit Istanbul again, we will definitely choose Elit Hotel by MK once more. Great hospitality by Ugur!

• Kristýna (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location of the hotel. It was only a 10 min walk up a gentle hill to the Sultanahmet tram stop and the main sights (Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia). Also only a 10 min walk to the seaside promenade. There was a beautiful view on the mosque from the balcony. We could hear the muezzin calling and the seagulls singing. The hotel staff (Ugur) was very nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. Thank you very much for everything. The room was very clean. There was also small fridge, microwave and electric kettle. Breakfast was a choice from a menu in a restaurant right next to the hotel in a quiet street and was delicious. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit. All was perfect☺️ Thank you.

• Sarah (10/5): Istanbul stay with a community feel - I was on the top floor, room 3 for a week's stay. I had a balcony that made my stay so wonderful. Even though the hotel is only 15 minutes walk from some of the big sights of European Istanbul, the apartment is on a small street with a great "community" feel. Lots of restaurants nearby. You can see the sea from the balcony. I used to sit and people watch after a long day of sightseeing. The manager Uger even remembered it was my special birthday and surprised me with a cake! A very safe and beautiful corner of this city which stole my heart ❤️ There was nothing I disliked.
• Selmeczi-kovács (8/5): Very good - Great atmosphere, the room was cozy and very tastefully furnished. The bed was very good, it was comfortable, and there were absolutely no bedbugs. The traditional bed lamps were very cute and gave a nice vibe to the room. The balcony had a nice size and an amazing view of the mosque, since we were right next to it. The hosts were both very nice and helpful. Available at all times and every odd hour we finally got back to the accommodation. We absolutely loved the breakfasts as well, totally recommend. All in all it was a good accommodation, great spot, everything in walking distance. At first they wanted us to pay in cash. And there were some things we could only pay in cash, and we were not told so in advance. The room was rather small, and there were no surfaces where we could keep our stuff. The shower cabin is really small, even though the bathroom is a good size, and could even have a bathtub. We got cleaning one day even though we put out the sign that we do not want any, which was a bit disturbing. I guess this is something I should have expected because of how close the mosque was but the nighttime singing call for prayer was very loud. The balcony door was not insulated, or did not properly meet in the middle, it always felt like it was open, which was a problem because it was cold when we were there. The balcony could do with a bit better furniture but the basics were there and okay.
• Ekaterina (6/5): Pleasant - The location and the view are great. The bed is ok. The sink was clogged so it smelled bad in the bathroom. There is also some mould in the bathroom. The apartment is not as nice in reality as it is in the pictures. Plus as it is opposite a mosque we were woken up at 4 or 5 in the morning by very loud calls for prayer.

• Janine (8/5): Small Hotel - The Hotel is on a lovely quiet little street opposite the mosque. There is a lovely little cafe just below on the street good for breakfast if you want. The room had a big comfortable bed. I was a little worried it would be too loud being next to the mosque but no problem it had good sound proof windows. In our 5 day stay the room was only cleaned once. It was advertised with shampoo and shower gel but the small bottles were only provided once so had to go buy some and toilet paper. I like clean towels every day this was also not provided.
• Mohammed (10/5): Perfect 💯 - Absolutely amazing, we loved the experience, the room was as described and just like the pictures. The host has an excellent attitude and character towards the guests, who goes above and beyond expectations to assist in all matters, concerns and requests. The location is perfect and the view from the room is absolutely serene. To add to the experience; everything is within walking distance, you can walk to all sites, shops and restaurants from the hotel. I would recommend this highly for all those looking for a unique experience, with an “outstanding touch of boutique nature”. Thankyou again for making our stay so memorable 💯💫
• Ethar (2/5): - We reserved one week and we couldn't stay for only one night because the hotel was so dirty and the bathroom so tiny and I wasn't able to use and moldy, I requested refund for whatever they can offer and they refused to pay anything back and we left, Hotel must be outside Expedia!

• Kok (9/5): Superb - The room was clean, more than enough for solo traveler. The host was very helpful, he helped purchased the IstanbulKart transport card for me. Get the room with the balcony and microwave. Makes a big difference to your trip. No elevator, but the highest level is only 2 storey. The host will help carry your bags. The balcony face Little Hagia Sophia Mosque. So be prepared for the Azan call 5 times a day, but it is short, and you will get use to it. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. For cheaper restaurants, walk away from the tourist areas up on the hill.

• Nata (10/5): An amazing stay - We had incredible experience staying here. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and had all amenities we could have asked for. Good and quiet location, it was near the Sultanahmet Tram station, Mosques, Grand Bazaar and so on. The host was hospitable,attentive, friendly . Before we checked-out , our flight was delayed for several hours and worried about our luggage but they allowed us to leave our luggage with them safely for several hours and we explored the city. Absolutely wonderful experience.

• Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect, you have peace and quiet, but you can also easily walk to all the attractions. You have a fantastic view of the small mosque from the balcony. The best thing about it is that you can enjoy the call to prayer very impressively. There is fantastic food in the café next door! I can only recommend it to everyone!!! The host of the hotel, Mr. Uğur Özbey Kaya, was always helpful and friendly and helped with all queries. He always keeps in touch with you via WhatsApp when he is not there. Whether it is internet, shuttle to and from the airport, everything worked to your complete satisfaction. So you don't have to worry even if you are traveling alone, you are in good hands here. You will be happy to come back here.

The location was also very nice, on a quieter street but also very close to the center. Overall everything was perfect and we had absolutely no problems during our stay, safe to say we would definitely come again.

• Amina (10/5): Great location and great hosts - Super friendly staff. We booked the smaller room for the first two nights of our stay because the bigger one was already booked so we checked out and checked in to the other room after the two nights. They prepared our new room and transfered our luggage so we didn't have to worry about anything and the transition was smooth. The location is amazing. Just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The neighborhood is also nice, there are restaurants and cafes but it's not a noisy street. The view is amazing as it overlooks Little Aya Sofia and you can even see the sea. Our balcony was separated from the other rooms balcony only by a fence that seemed to have some sort of lock that could be easily opened. I might be wrong, I didn't try to open anything as there were other guests there but perhaps a bit more secure fence between the balconies could make guests feel safer, especially women.

Uğur (The host) was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He was able to check us in quickly and provided helpful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. It was our honeymoon vacation and thanks to Uğur he made it unforgettable. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The bedding was fresh and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. It was clear the housekeeping staff took great pride in their work. The hospitality of Uğur throughout our stay was excellent, he was so polite, attentive, and eager to ensure we had a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the city's downtown district. I was able to walk to many restaurants, shops, and cultural landmarks with ease. The convenience of the location added a lot of value to my stay. In terms of price, I felt the nightly rate was very reasonable given the quality of the accommodations and amenities. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one offered an excellent value. Overall, I would highly recommend Elite Hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of a great host, spotless facilities, warm hospitality, convenient location, and fair pricing made for a wonderful hotel experience. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip.
• Sarah (7/5): Small room with balcony overlooking little Ayia Sofia - The locality was excellent as it was close to the main sites in the Old City. The balcony was an added bonus and the bathroom was well-equipped. The staff were helpful.as my arrival was delayed due to traffic. Unfortunately, the district had 3 power cuts on consecutive days of my stay which meant no electricity at all- the final one lasted over 14 hours. I was also asked to pay for the room in cash (when I saw another guest later pay by card) which I couldn't quite understand.
