- Vanessa (6/5): - La verdad que no volveria a alojarme. Sitio muy viejo y dejado. Porque aunque este viejo con un poco de cariño puede ser un buen lugar, pero no es el caso. Zonas comunes sucias y habitaciones no muy limpias y estropeadas. En la 14 que nos hospedamos el azulejo de la bañera estaba roto y pusieron por encima un azulejo de goma simulando azulejo pegado con celo en las esquinas. El Patio muy descuidado y con paredes con las tuberias gordas de la casa a la vista. Horrible. Lo Bueno que tiene aire acondicionado. Creo que el bar es independiente o eso parecia, al hotel, porque el bar estaba limpio y cuidado otro ambiente diferente al hotel. Nada que ver. No tiene nada que ver con lo que se ofrece en las fotos y pagina.

- Gonzalo (10/5): A hidden gem in Aranjuez - The Hostal Castilla is a gem in Aranjuez. The staff has been superb and the room was spotless and everyone was super accommodating. The patio is something out of a fairy tale. Highly recommended.

Además, faltaba limpieza ya que se podían observar telarañas en el techo y suelo con pelusas. Por lo demás el trato del personal estuvo muy bien, y el desayuno es generoso y barato.

- Roberto (8/5): Hotel céntrico con una bonita corrala. - Recomendaría este hostal para una estancia corta. Está muy bien situado y tiene una preciosa corrala en su patio interior. La habitación era espaciosa y estaba limpia. La cama no era del todo cómoda pero está bien para una o dos noches. No disponen de aparcamiento privado. No hay problema en encontrar aparcamiento en la calle.
- boris (4/5): Old and uncomfortable. - The place is old and not in a good shape. Starting with the door, which had a huge gap, through which I opened the lock with a credit card without any effort. The room was uncomfortable in every sense: the beds, the bathroom, towels, bedding, the temperature (could not warm the room up due to draft through windows and the door). Parking is in the street where you can find it, depending on your luck, can be close or far.

- Isabel (8/5): Gran amabilidad y atención fantástica - El mismo día 12 de septiembre, cuando me disponía a desplazarme a Aranjuez, me llamaron y me comunicaron que la cita a la que tenía en Aranjuez se aplaza por un imprevisto a la mañana del día 21. Contacte con el Hostal y pese a tener la reserva para ese día, muy amablemente me la cambiaron para hoy día 20. El chico que me ha atendido a mi llegada ha sido muy amable y el sitio está muy bien. Me preocupaba el estacionamiento pero he podido aparcar a la primera en la calle y muy cerca del hostal

No busques un lugar moderno pues es todo lo contrario. Viajé con mis padres y quedamos encantados. Una ubicación fantástica junto a las zonas de visita (apenas unos 200 mts.). El único pero es el desayuno que no es continental y el wifi limitado a las zonas comunes.

Staff were very friendly and attentive, particularly our lovely host who served our breakfast each day and remembered our preferences. He even made us a special breakfast on our final morning. - Peter (10/5): Hostal Castilla Aranjuez - An unusual and quaint little hostal in the centre of Aranjuez. The vestibule with a cabinet of model toy soldiers and the breakfast room, stairs going up and the reception office leads out to an inner patio courtyard overflowing and overcrowded with plant pots and compost, with two rows of surrounding balcony on the upper floors. There was some scaffolding inside and outside the building (April 2017). Our room was clean with comfortable beds, lots of hot water for showers and sachets of shower gel and shampoo, and the heating satisfactorily warmed the room in the night. Breakfast: tostada, butter, jam, coffee and orange juice freshly squeezed and all quickly and efficiently prepared by a very pleasant young man. Local Spanish came in for their breakfast of variations of the above. Aranjuez is a pretty little town with its Royal Palace, river, tourist train, municipal market (freshest looking fish, longed for a kitchen). In tourist high season parking might be difficult but we were able to park immediately outside. Those who prefer uniform black and grey modern hotels should go elsewhere but we loved the relaxing and peaceful Spanish atmosphere of this old fashioned historical funny little hostal. It was quite different to anywhere else we have stayed, has its charm, and yes, we will certainly return to stay just as soon as we can.
