Guest Reviews
- MELISSA (10/5): - I loved getting away to some peace and quiet. Excellent views, just enough dining options, short drive to Laramie. Staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back again!
- Stephen (8/5): - Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner was delicious.
- BARBARA (10/5): - We arrived really late to a very seamless check-in and beautiful room to rest in. Thank you so much
- Rita (6/5): Needs some TLC - First of all the staff is great. They advertise every room has a Mountain View but we were in room 104 and unless you have a chainsaw or clippers with you, you are not going to see any mountains through the vegetation right outside your window. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything the people in the next room do. That being said, the room was very clean and comfortable. We ate in the attached steakhouse. The food, drinks and service were excellent.
- Megan (6/5): - Two queens turned out to be two fulls. There was no hot water in the room. Overall service was excellent, staff friendly and room was clean. Not fancy but an ok room.
- Cheri (10/5): Friendly, Clean, Convenient - All amenities were as described. Organizational features (hooks, vanity space…) were arranged conveniently. Towels were clean and soft. Room temperature was comfortable. Be sure to turn the blinds angling up and in, to restrict amount of morning sun. A minor thing for us, but the morning in-house coffee was undrinkable (maybe left from the previous night?), and unfortunately the next -door coffee kiosk was closed Mon-Wed. There are other places close-by to grab coffee, however. All in all, it was a great place to stay and we would happily return!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - It is not the Ritz Carlon, but it certainly is clean, comfortable and the staff is super nice and helpful. It is a rustic place but it matches the whole feel of being away from the Hussle and bustle of society. It is decorated like an old corral for cowboys which makes it unique. the only difficult part is that there is hardly any place to eat and their steak house is closed Sat,Sun and Monday which makes no sense. We went to the steak house on Friday and it was a very nice meal .
- Marina (10/5): - Such a lovely stay! Highly recommend for an authentic, western experience in a friendly small town. The property was wonderful, especially the outdoor patio and the wraparound porch and everyone working there was so friendly.
- Jeffery (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Marwa (10/5): - Very friendly ! Enjoyed staying there. Beautiful view
- Lisa (10/5): - Employees were all very nice!
- Kelly (10/5): - Excellent staff. Helpful, friendly and welcoming. I felt safe and looked after. Amazing restaurant. Thank you so much!
- Diane (10/5): - This place is charming!!
- Jessica (10/5): - The view and the people are amazing
- Deborah (10/5): - Great location near the entrance to Medicine Bow National Forest. Centennial is a sweet little town.
- Bruce (10/5): - Fourth time staying at this location. Highly recommended!
- Connie (10/5): - Friendly, efficient service. Nice gift shop!
- Sherry (10/5): - Nice place to stay. However yhe room had no air conditioning. The morning we left the doors to the office and to the coffee area were locked. We left around 8 am. Also the restaurant was not opened. Only opens Thursday thru Sunday
- Rick (10/5): - Cozy, warm and friendly.
- Ann (10/5): - Walk back in timr.
- Eric (10/5): - This hotel has a great laid back atmosphere with friendly staff and tasty ribeyes.
- Scott (6/5): Mediocre at Best - Location was great for Snowy Range. Hotel quality was just above a Motel 6. $25/person additional charge for anything over 2 people in a room with 2 queens. Dinner and service at the Steak was not good. The fattiest prime rib I've ever eaten. Granted this was toward the end of the season, but for the money it should be better,
- Fallon (10/5): Great family place to stay! - A perfect place to stay for a tour of the University of Wyoming in Laramie and skiing at Snowy Range.
- Andrew (10/5): - We like having the steakhouse at the hotel.
- keith (8/5): - nice place been staying there for years
- Alea (10/5): Great stay! - It was a great stay. Staff is so kind and helpful! The room is warm, clean, and beds are comfy. My kid had a great time playing in the snow and watching a movie in the media room. Good at the restaurant was great ( if you are torn between the steak and the prime rib, go with the steak!) My only complaint is that room 102 is right next to the entrance door and stairs and it can get really loud due to slamming doors and people walking up and down with heavy boots. Wish there was some sort of light breakfast offered as well. When I mentioned it to the front desk they offered to move us, but we had already unpacked and it was too much of a bother- but shout out to the front desk for offering! Excellent service.
- Wade (10/5): - Very nice hotel and great staff.
- Tyler (8/5): - Our neighbor kept us up all night with partying and snoring other than that the hotel and surrounding area is beautiful! Perfect for snowmobiling
- David (8/5): - Very nice property, however rooms were too cold and hard to heat, common areas such as dining, movie room and breakfast area were always way too cold— wife had to get an extra blanket from staff just to survive morning tea and coffee
- Chris (10/5): - Friendly service rooms were nice
- Jamie (10/5): - It always makes the skiing weekend a great experience!!!
- Jeremy (10/5): - Amazing property. Thanks for a great trip. I look forward to staying at your property in the future.
- Jamie (10/5): - Always a great experience!!!
- Derel (8/5): - The hotel is certainly unique, especially as to location and local "frontier" surroundings and amenities. Since it was off-season, it was more affordable; however, there was no food service available except for the long weekend when the restaurant had (very expensive) steak nights. I was adequately provisioned, so I didn't have to buy anything. Very good coffee was available in the very comfortable lounge area with TV and internet.
One thing I meant to mention to the management was that my mattress was partially collapsed from people sitting on the side of the bed to put shoes on, etc. Experts recommend "rotating" mattresses by turning them over, or reversing their positions. Otherwise, one tends to roll over to the sunken side.
- Richard (10/5): - Love this place
- Barnaby (10/5): Great cozy place - Great little place, would stay here next time in area. Great views, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff.
- Marcia (8/5): - It is a great location. It’s also a well-loved property that could use updates as far as the room is concerned.
- veronica (8/5): - Quiet little town! Took my husband for his bday as it has many places to ride your side by side. Clean cozy place to clean up and sleep.
- Andrea (10/5): - Amazing property with beautiful views and great and friendly staff.
- Andrew (10/5): - What a cool place. Clean rooms, good food, and nice staff.
- Shawn (10/5): - Clean and comfy
- Eric (10/5): - Very friendly front desk and waitresses such a cool little town to walk around if you’d like to drink plenty of bars, the restaurant was great. The food was excellent. Room was just fine for me. Thank you
- Gary (8/5): - Place to stay. Third time. Again was ok.
- Hermann (10/5): - Authentic Western hotel with fiendly staff and the best steaks west of the Mississippi. Great atmosphere!
- Gregory (10/5): - Lived in Larmie for 10 years. We never had a chance to stay at this lovely Hotel. Staff were kind and curtious. Room was clean and cool. Would highly recommend for a wary traveler.
- Terry (8/5): Nice place to stay. - This is a nice place to stay. The rooms are a little tight but cute. The staff was very friendly and we loved the old west feel!
- Tim (4/5): - I read reviews that called this place quaint. It isnt. It is in a nice location but it is, in every way but the price, a cheap hotel. It had thin run-down carpet, scratchy towels, rusty drains and toilet bowl, and, most concerning, the bolt lock and chain lock on my room were busted. If you've spent the day snowmobling or something, and are too tired to drive another 30 minutes to Laramie, this will be satisfactory. Otherwise, avoid it.
- craig (4/5): - The staff was delightful. The walls are paper thin. The carpet in the room was dirty, looked like some one had thrown up and the carpet had not been cleaned. Right outside the bathroom door.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Thanks for an excellent stay! - Our stay at The Old Corral was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good. This was our first stay in Wyoming, but it will not be the last. We look forward to visiting again. There is a new owner and I expect only good changes ahead!
- Steve (10/5): - Good value
- James (6/5): - Place was okay, people were friendly
- Thomas (10/5): Very nice location! - Very nice room, great services in hotel and restaurant. Very good meals
- Anne (10/5): - Very charming and super comfy beds!
- Edward (10/5): - I like that it wasn't directly in town. It was close to town as well as the mountain range. It felt private.
- Brandon (10/5): - Quiet
- Joanna (10/5): - Really nice hotel! We enjoyed the game room and theater.
- James (10/5): - Nice place and very handy for snowmobilers.
- James (10/5): - Great place to stay. Great food and employees were very accommodating.
- Ryan (10/5): - Free coffee and an area to prepare breakfast was awesome.
- Hollye (10/5): - Beds were comfy, rooms were great but they didn't have ac so they were a little warmer than we prefer.
- Pam (8/5): - We would love to stay again when the restaurant is open!
The room (2 queens) was a bit small but totally comfortable.
Thanks!
- Hannelore (10/5): - Very rustic and in the Western style with a lovely view of the fall colors. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The steak dinner was excellent! There is great seating area in a garden setting behind the building.
- William (8/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful. AC window units still in windows. We were in mountain side and wind whistled through quite loudly throughout the night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A nice place to stay - This is an awesome place! Located in a very quiet little town, a couple nice places to eat within an easy walk from the hotel.
- Sean (10/5): - Nice place and a good stopover while traveling through.
- Joanne (8/5): - Staff was great. Room needs updating.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Good location. Good dinner at the onsite restaurant and good breakfast across the street. Parking lot is dirt/gravel, which makes hauling a wheeled suitcase difficult.
- Catherine (10/5): - Just an overall neat place to stay.
- Constantina (10/5): Amazing hotel - I fell in love with Centennial WY when driving through for work, that’s when I saw this hotel. When I found out I was going back for work a few days later I stayed the night and it was great. The hotel was clean and quiet. I usually do not sleep well in hotels but I fell asleep fast here.
- David (10/5): The best Coral in Wyoming - Came here from a long drive to crash and then go camp in mountains. The price here is good , the people bend over backwards for you . Prices are really good . Nothing to complain about , only good!
- Sarah (10/5): - It was so cute and cozy and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in out of all of the hotels I have ever stayed in :)
- Mark (10/5): - What a great place to stay!!!
- Genevieve (10/5): - We stayed here a few days since it was so close to the many hiking trails in the Snowy Range. They have friendly helpful staff and delicious steak at their steak house restaurant. Their homemade pie with ice cream was super, too! We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy their mini theater. The free coffee in the snack room was a nice way to start a day of hiking the trails. Their gift shop was also really nice and we bought some souvenirs for grandma. We’d definitely stay here again in the future.
- Stacey (10/5): - Everything & everyone was awesome! The beds were absolutely wonderful!!
- Sarah (10/5): The outdoor space was amazing - The grounds were amazing. Town is so cute. Hotel is old but as expected
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent stay at the Old Corral Hotel & Steakhouse. So clean! Friendly service. Excellent dinner at the Steakhouse.
- robert (6/5): - Very average. Very outdated rooms. Noisy window air conditioners which were inefficient. Bathrooms were old an in need of a major upgrade. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Beds were just ok.
- Brian (10/5): - The hotel was absolutely amazing. Will return again for a longer stay.
- Steven (10/5): - Great place with awesome and friendly staff!
- jd miller (10/5): - Have stayed several times on mc trips. Very happy with them, every time!
- Greg (10/5): - My wife and I like to seek out locally-owned hotels instead of chains. This property, 20 miles off I-80, was well worth the time and effort. You have to want to end up in this small town on the hilly curve; this is not a place you stumble across. The hotel was clean, charming, and historic, staffed by friendly, helpful folks. We hope to return one day.
- Roxanne (10/5): - Beautiful place with very friendly staff.
Everything we wanted in our visit to the Snowy Range.
- YI-MIN (10/5): - Nice!
- Jim (10/5): - Great staff, in a great location. I would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Couples Getaway - We loved the "Old West" decor, the very friendly and caring staff, the delicious steak dinner, and the proximity to the Snowy Range Drive so we could easily explore our favorite places.
- Melody (10/5): - The staff was pleasant and very helpful
- shawn (10/5): Solo Ski Trip - Great stay. Ill be back in March
- Drew (10/5): - Great accommodations and awesome food
- Ching Wei (10/5): Nice and comfortable - Clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay for our 2-day snowboarding trip!
- Elizabeth Buday (10/5): - How friendly everyone was at this property!
- Karl (10/5): - The rooms were nice and clean . The bathrooms were very roomy instead of squinchy like a lot of hotels. The beds were very comfortable. It was in a very quiet area which was nice.
- stephanie (8/5): - Very cute lodgings decorated nicely. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Staff was very nice. The whole area is very nice.
- Arman (8/5): - The town offers little but the scenery in the area is very nice. Stay was so so. Other rooms are very very noisy!
- Jerrod (10/5): Check it out. - I liked this place, it’s a nice cozy atmosphere at the hotel and around the town.
- Kathryn (10/5): - 0
- Jill (10/5): - Nice hotel with excellent service. Great for a Snowy Range Getaway
- Carol (6/5): - The place was clean, the staff friendly and the food good. But the bed was too soft and very uncomfortable. Neither my husband or I slept well…tossing and turning all night. The area is beautiful and worth getting off the beaten path. As seniors, we need our rest.
- Anne Marie (8/5): - Lovely hotel
Great gift shop
- Bruce (10/5): We will go back! - Awesome place to stay. Super close to restaurants.
- Frank (10/5): Cheers - All around great place
