- Angela (8/5): - The beds were clean and the room was clean. It was quite old. The rug needs to be replaced. The towels are small. Our bathroom door was broken although we could still shut it. It definitely needs repairs and updating but our sleep was decent.
- Carrie (4/5): - Front desk workers are very pleasant! However, this hotel needs major upgrades, toilet not flushing properly, bathtub not draining properly, sink faucet sprays water across the room. Towels are very old and thin, bedding is stained, lamp on night stand broken, microwave not working. Extreme lack of plug ins. Beds are comfortable, pillows not so much. Very quiet location, but lots of workers staying there, so loud trucks starting early in the morning. Would not recommend staying here.
- Angela (8/5): - Clean rooms and quiet. Towels were not very big and not very plush.
- Corinne (10/5): - Fresh air at the door or window
- DANIEL (6/5): - Only place in Alberta charging evacuees for pets. It doesn't matter, I won't be back to this motel anyway.
- John (4/5): - They need to update the poperty, Toilet wasnt working
- sukhleens (6/5): - It was an average motel. Poor carpets, linens were dirty and lost power to my room. The person on front counter was helpful. If you are just planning only sleep for a night it might just workout incase you dont find anything else.
- Wesley (8/5): - Only issue was bed was really hard
- Osaletin (10/5): - The room is spacious, well maintained with a good bed, washroom is clean and good as well.
- Richard (6/5): - Stayed in better for much less
- Melanie (2/5): - The guy at the front desk was very rude, wouldn't let me modify my stay and charged me 100 extra for early check in and charged me for an extra 3 days I didn't need anymore. Won't stay here again.
- Ruth (8/5): - Easy parking for a truck and large trailer.
Room was spacious and very clean.
There was an electrical outlet not covered which I told the desk about.
The bed was very comfortable and we slept very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Some of the interior is fairly run down but at $65/night it will do in a pinch. Staff was very friendly.
- Salvador (8/5): - Nice and quiet
- Ken (8/5): - Bed is very comfortable. Little cool in the room. Staff very friendly.
- Daryl (2/5): - Manager was a jerk. Warmer outside than inside.
- Terry (6/5): Good for a quick over night stay. - Get what you pay for i guess.. eveytime you moved the head board hit the wall waking you up, had a hard time finding a place to plug my cell phone in.
- Vincent (4/5): - The check in was great nice area and very kind man, professional and personable.
The room was disappointing. The carpet was stained the a/c units are really old, froze up n rattled all night. The beds are uncomfortable. I am almost went back and asked for a refund!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved everything about this place, they're doing their best so you cant be too picky. Im impressed with the service and how easy they made it for us. Again they're doing their best so appreciate the effort they put into everything c: 5/5 stars from me.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No resturant, dirty lot, the internet was none existant.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - room was clean microwave did not work and no coffee in room
- Justin (8/5): Serves the purpose. - Hotel is dated, but the outdoor corridor access is nice, staff are friendly.
- Martha (8/5): Nice place to stay - We stayed here when we were into town for basketball zones, March 2020, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked, the bathroom was nice, the staff was friendly. The only complaint is that the plug in that my husband plugged his truck into, didn’t work so his truck had cold start but that’s not that big of a deal cause it was only -23 that morning. Over all a decent place to stay, and super cheap! We paid $79.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was quiet, which is always a good thing. The tv channel selection is decent, and the wifi is good. I've stayed here many times, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The main attraction for me is the low room price. The room phones never seem to work, though, and cell service in the immediate area is usually bad. Other than that, it's an enjoyable stay.
- Unknown (2/5): - It was 90 degrees. Never went below 85 degrees. At midnight I moved to bmi where temperature was cooler and comfortable
- Sylvia (10/5): - She was very attentive and helpful. beds very comfy and room was well supplied
- Daniel (8/5): - No coffee machine which was not what I was expecting. The one in the lobby did not work. Let’s up the coffee game
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We got there 10 minutes early he gave us a key, told us it wasn't ready yet. we returned from hospital at 8 pm opened the door the order was horrible, we put all suit cases on table, it smelled moldy. We to washroom no shower working pipes were hanging loose, toilet ran all nite tried to fix but after an hour or so it finally stopped running. The pillows were disgustingly smelly of dirty hair. We took out truck air fresheners to put above bed. we laid on top of bedspread, waited till 6:30 went to check out told him about the problems said he was sorry we have to take it up with Expedia well your ratings are not a 4 star as featured... definitely not as pictured in the ads. I want a full refund. we stayed 1 nite not 2.
- Brent (2/5): - Nothing like the photos. Room was gross. Beds were hard. Had to ask for an upgrade and was treated very poorly. The *upgraded room had old food in the fridge and dirty beds. Was already charged prior to check out. When i asked for discount they were rude
Overall disgusting
- Verified traveler (4/5): - room was old, needs refurbishing, no coffee, no breakfast, wifi didn’t work.
Beds were comfortable, room was clean
- peter (8/5): - basic amenities, adequate for overnite stop
- Judy (2/5): - I have stayed at the property before but my review this time is to document my disappointment with Expedia. The hotel had a flood months before our reservation but Expedia failed to notify us that the hotel was closed. We arrived to find that we had no place to stay. We had to drive to a nearby city to get a room which was more expensive and not convenient. We also had trouble with our car rental which was booked through Expedia. Expedia totally let us down on this trip and I reviewed this already and asked to have someone contact us from Expedia but that hasn’t happened either. No happy with Expedia and their lack of support for the issues.
- Tanner (8/5): Good value - Old but clean with a few updates. Good value
- Jeremie (8/5): Go go gadget trax inn - So good that I was thinking to stay another night just because !!!!!!!!!
- Nicholas (2/5): Not for families - This is not a place to take your family. This hotel is for oil worker. 2 mins up the road you will find a better family hotel for the same price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Foolish - That's was not a motel for any one but oil patch service crew.
- Bonnie (6/5): Nice motel but---- - Nice motel but the room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a used face cloth in the bath, and Cheeses under the beds.
- Shirleyann A (6/5): - first the hotel is in Beaverlodge AB and is 25miles from Grande Prairie where it was listed. The motel was good but it was not where you listed it.
