- Katharina (10/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Restaurant-Bereich ist sehr zu empfehlen, super Freundlicher Service. Die Badezimmer sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem sauber. Einziges Manko, die Badezimmertür ist eine Schiebetür (man hört alles). Sehr gut ist auch der große Parkplatz auf dem Hof.

Unfriendly Staff, specially at the reception. Lack of hot water in one of the mornings. Regular Breakfast. Regular restaurant where no bread is served, or even offered.

Die Unterkunft selbst war in einem erstklassigen Zustand, mit hervorragenden Einrichtungen, die keine Wünsche offenließen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die makellose Sauberkeit und der außergewöhnliche Service des Personals, die stets freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. Die Lage des Hotels war gut – wir haben die ruhige Umgebung sehr genossen, und die Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war ein großer Pluspunkt. Die verschiedenen kulinarischen Angebote haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, und die bequemen Parkmöglichkeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Zudem war das Hotel leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, was unseren Erkundungstouren zugutekam. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel zur Post Aschheim eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

- Lene (8/5): Fint og rent hotel. - Brugte hotellet som overnatning på vej mod Italien. Hotellet var fint, rene værelser og høflig betjening ved indcheckning. Morgenmad var fin og med et varieret tilbud. Fik personligt serveret kaffe og kakao ved bordet.

- Joanne (10/5): - I was grounded in Munich due to the storm and booked one night here. My room was a reasonable rate and super clean and the staff, from front desk to restaurant - at night and the next morning, were top notch working their tails off due to the influx of stranded guests. I wish I had more time to explore but this place was warm and had a very calm and eco aesthetic.
- Kent (8/5): - They welcomed a hundred plus guests who were stranded passengers when the Munich Airport was closed by blizzard. They provided great, individual service. The dining room was full and provded great food. Rooms were comfortable. Quiet neoghbour hood about 15km from Munich city centre.
- zrshk (4/5): Lots of bugs - Our room was full of spiders and bugs. There were spider webs on the wall. Some of the lights in the room weren’t working and there was a problem with the toilet flush too. Honestly, the only good thing was the free parking. Hotel staff was friendly too.

The restaurant was " perfecto " and again very nice an atmosphere and delicious food. Also breakfast was top class. For sure I will be back a " super " hotel and restaurant
- Ralf (8/5): - Im großen und ganzen eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Da an der Hauptstraße gelegen sehr laut. Mit offenen Fenster schlafen ist daher unmöglich. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.
- Jens (4/5): Zu warm im Zimmer für einen vernünftigen Schlaf - Leider insgesamt nicht gut gewesen. Das wichtigste bei einem Hotelaufenthalt sollte ein guter Schlaf sein. Der war jedoch nicht möglich, da die Fußbodenheizung (im Sommer) so dermaßen durchlief dass ich im Zimmer an die 30 Grad hatte. Eine Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden. Zusätzlich war kühlen durch Lüften kaum möglich, da die Garagen vor dem Gebäude beleuchtet waren, es dadurch im Zimmer zu hell gewesen wäre & die Mücken ihrem rest getan haben. WLAN war im Zimmer 108 ebenfalls nicht verfügbar. Außerdem waren noch in der Dusche Haare.

- Christian (4/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Allerdings das Hauseigene Restaurant war eine derbe Enttäuschung. Als erstes musste man um an seinem Tisch zu kommen über Glasscherben laufen, nach dem man den Kellner daraufhin aufmerksam machte, bekam ich als Antwort - Er hätte dafür keine Zeit. Der andere Kollege hat vor allen Gästen immer wieder seine „Haltung“ verloren und mit Schimpfwörter und Brutelei durch das Restaurant durchgelaufen. Das war einfach nicht gut. Nach dem dann das Essen kam, war dies die nächste Enttäuschung, wenn man für ein Essen ein gehobener Preis bezahlt kann man erwarten das beim Wiener Schnitzel die Pommes fertig gegart sind und das Schnitzel nicht im Fett schwimmt …. Als nächster Gang sind wir zum Hotelbesitzer gegangen und haben den Vorgang geschildert. Die Antwort war mehr als erschreckend für uns, Er wüsste über die Probleme Bescheid, kann aber allerdings nichts machen, da er in seinem Hause Fachkräfte Mangel hätte und so lange dies auch mit solchen Personal geht würde es ja funktionieren. Diese Aussage ist für uns einfach nicht zufrieden stellend.

Das Zimmwr war sauber; allerdings fanden wir in einer Ecke noch ein, zwar sauberes T-Shirt eines vorherigen Gastes, was ein gewisses Geschmäckle mit sich bringt. Im Hotel waren insgesamt sehr viele Bauarbeiter oder ähnlich untergebracht, die es mit der Ruhe nicht so genau nahmen. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße und verfügt über keine Klimaanlage!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Super mooi hotel. We hebben hier zowel op de heen- als de terugreis vanuit Italië overnacht. Echter op de terugreis (op zaterdag) was in het hotel alles dicht (receptie, bar/restaurant) terwijl dit niet vooraf aan ons was gecommuniceerd. De sleutel lag keurig voor ons klaar, maar we hadden dit hotel ook deels uitgekozen om na de reis nog een hapje te kunnen eten en een drankje te doen. Dat viel dus een beetje tegen. Verder een super fijn hotel, mooie kamers, goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

- 677alynh (8/5): Ideal stop for the airport in the morning - Booked as anywhere will do to get us close to the airport for an early flight the next day and was pleasantly suprised by the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and probably our best night sleep of our trip through Germany and Austria in much plusher hotels. Food at the hotel was good and reasonably priced with decent portions. The bathroom being on full view to the room was a bit of a shock to us Brits but it can be covered with a curtain.

Only downside is the breakfast lady who is obviously not happy with her job. When eggs and bacon ran out she complained, in so many words, that people were eating too much.

The extremely friendly and helpful staff made us all feel right at home and the food was delicious. This is a perfect hotel to visit to Munich or any other location in Bavaria from, and much cheaper and more spacious than hotels in the city.

The time to city center is 15 to 20 minutes maximum. I didn't try breakfast. Total rating is 4.7 of 5. Next time when i visiting Munich i will book in this hotel.

The food was excellent .Breakfast was fairly typical for the area, but dinner was terrific (Coachman platter...?). The restaurant area is light / airy / spacious. the hotel looks as though it has been refurbished recently....and I got a birthday card - Nice touch!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable hotel outside of city center - Hotel Zur Post is about 20 min to the city enter of Munich and 30 min to the airport. It's a very comfortable, friendly and convienent place to stay if you have a car. The staff and service was great. We were also pleasantly surprised by the great food and nice breakfast spread, which was worth the extra euros.

But what made this hotel excellent is the behavior of the stuff. They have made everything to make us feel welcome. Especially the gentleman from the reception was very helpfull. Rooms further towards the street (front) can be a bit noisy in the summer, just in case you consider to sleep with opened window. Other than that it is a very good choice. Very good breakfast and also restaurant for dinner the night before.

However, we did have an issue, as in a lot of hotels in Europe there was no air conditioner and while opening the windows did make the room comfortable the noise level was a nuisance when it was time to sleep. - MaVa999 (8/5): Good and nice Hotel - The hotel is nice and clean , the stuff is nice. The rooms are made in a typical German (Bavarian) style. In side hotel is quiet, and nice made the beds a great. Baths are made of a stone shower witch is nice and a toilet and sink it relative small but functional and clean. All in all a nice stay.
- H7514DGbrians (10/5): A lucky find - We were very lucky to be able to stay in one of the junior suites on VERY short notice. The room was spacious and the bath was a real luxury. The price was reasonable with buffet breakfast included. The restaurant was excellent. We loved the location. Aschheim has a village feel with easy access to Munich. The only down-side to our room was that WiFi was not quite strong enough for use on phones and tablets (laptop was OK).
- PetriM_12 (6/5): As you expected, good wifi - Stayed this time in Ascheim in this hotel. It was in m mind better than the one I have used before. The hotel in total is better, dinner and breakfast maybe not as good as in the other one, but rooms maybe a bit better. Wifi was free and without any passwords, and it worked really well. Prices are low, and the whole experience is in line with that. If you are in this area, I recommend this hotel.
- HotelsWithASoul (8/5): Good mid level option in Aschheim - I have stayed in this hotel many times, have stayed in other hotels in the area too. But this one is by far the most comfortable, clean and convenient. The rooms are very fresh, as if they repaint the room every time a new guest is arriving ! The rooms are basic but have pretty much all you need. The location is nice and quiet, with quaint cafes close by (Mon Salvy is nice !) The breakfast is very good in comparison to other hotels and the staff is always available to attend to your specific needs, even if not in the buffet. The staff is very courteous and speak good english. The couple of things i feel they need to work on is the availability of toiletries in the bathroom, they have a all in one liquid soap, would be nice to have a wash, shampoo and other amenities. Also they need to have few more english channels. This is a very convenient commute for Munich city and Trade Fair Messe, specially at peak times (Oktoberfest, Trade shows, etc.) The hotel has free wifi.
- Bart-Business-Class (10/5): Great hotel for a night or more - I planned to stay there for only 1 night with the family. Their family rooms/suites are great. As we were travelling to Austria we didn't have much time to enjoy the area. Though at the Ring Road (A99) of Munich it is a convenient place to stay when visiting Munich or the Messe. The food is good, German style with a good wine list. Due to weather and traffic circumstances we ended up in the same hotel on our return trip. I would really recommend this hotel.
- wojtekm573 (8/5): Hotel & Leisure - Nice Hotel with good possibility to relax. Remember that the Hotel is close to Trade and Riemm Shopping Mall but for those who travel with car. The city doesn't have SBAHN (Local Train)connection. Very important: The hotel was re-builded in the past, so the difference between rooms is HUGE. Try to chose 3 Floor.The rooms are excellent. Anyhow the service at the hotel is very well provided. I'm sure you will enjoy eating in the Hotel Restaurant. But by the crowd at the bar you need to check the bill. Also by the nice service beware of money. I've paid the waiter Katia 20€ for two drinks ( bill was 15,80) and she just ran further. So and so I'm very satisfied stayed at Zur Post Hotel.
- tomatenmarc (10/5): Very nice Hotel in the centre of Aschheim near Messe München - We had a corporate meeting for 30 international participants nearby and have booked rooms and a dinner at Hotel Post Aschheim. Very easy to work with, very efficient and helpful, very nice staff and excellent food. The guest rooms on the 3rd floor are very very nice.
- chrono14344 (10/5): Wedding venue... - The staffs were lovely.food was awesome.room was absolutely clean!!although we only stayed overnight,it was awesome!bed was comfy,saying that i was drunk after the party but still,i did not have a back ache when i woke up.all in all,twas a great stay and party!!thanx to the staff for looking after the bride and groom and everyone during the party!and thanx to the bosses of the hotel too for letting us party til 4am!and to top it up,breakfast was really nice,im from england so was really fascinated by the tastes of german foods.and they ere all lovely!!!my friends and family enjoyed it!!!thanx again!
