Guest Reviews
- Mary (10/5): - New, comfortable digs!
- Vanesa (8/5): -
- Vicki (2/5): Poor for the inflated price - Clean Coffee maker did not work
Shower was not hot enough
Waited to check in. No one was at the desk
- Misty (7/5): This place is going to be beautiful when the renovations are done. The location was great. It’s on a side street from al - The place is freshly painted and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options. They had a really cool pancake maker. Our room was huge with lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was large with great light up mirrors. Our room was modern, clean and relaxing. Even though the building was under renovation it was not loud and the work going on was discreet. It did not hinder our stay in any way. The location is great, it’s on a side street but close to restaurants and shopping. Close enough to get to everything quickly but far enough away to not hear the traffic and have all the lights and busyness. The property is in the renovation phase and our window still had plastic on the outside where they are painting the exterior but we were only there at night so really not a big deal, but off putting at first. The only big downfall was the bed was hard.
- Eddie (8/5): -
- Patricia (4/5): - Close to venue Mattress on pull out couch was stained & thin. Very disappointing quality. No sheets or covers provided in the room. Very little toilet paper. No extra towels.
- Heidi (9/5): Great stay in a good location! -

- Lyndi (5/5): I’d only stay here again if it was all that was available - Staff was amazing. Very dated and not clean. I spilled water in the floor and the towel was black from soaking it up.
- Linda (10/5): - Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and very nice.
- Carrie (10/5): - Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good with a few gluten free options. We would stay here again.
- John (10/5): - Great breakfast and wonderful staff
- Mary (8/5): - Very surprised that there were no usb charging options on the lamps outside of a using a black in the outlets.
- John (6/5): - Breakfast, clean room
- Sharon (4/5): - I was charged $128 instead of the quoted price of $118. I was told this was for incidentals and would be reduced if room was not damaged. My credit card was charged $128. I wiped up water on bathroom floor from getting out of shower and the floor was dirty. Also, the A/C was VERY loud.
- Amy (10/5): - Checking in was easy. Breakfast was great. Room was clean
- Tena (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was great.
- Deborah (8/5): -
- Ginny (10/5): Would stay here again when visiting! Great location with shopping and restaurants close by. - Property was very well maintained with great lighting in the parking lot. Very welcoming on arrival, immediately greeted when walking in. Check in was quick. Room was very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable and the room stayed very cool. Bathroom provided all the necessary sundries with soft towels. Breakfast was phenomenal! Great selection of breakfast items, fresh fruit and multiple juices were offered. Coffee was the best “hotel” coffee I have had. Dining area was very well decorated with ample space for small individual dining to group dining and kept very clean at all times. The only thing I noticed was the “black out” shade on the window was a little worn but served the purpose.
- Shannon (8/5): - Convenient property to visit our student at OSU. Check-in was easy, room was clean.
- Rita (8/5): Gostei do hotel. Me atendeu e voltaria com certeza. - A cama é muito confortável.
Tamanho da acomodação.
Acomodação bem completa. O barulho do ar condicionado. Estou acostumada com mais silenciosos. Além do que arma e desarma a noite inteira a não ser que coloquemos muito frio.
A descarga estragou 2 vezes. Avisei e consertaram.
Fiquei 12 dias no hotel. Estadia longa. Um dia não fizeram a limpeza pois demorei pra sair do quarto e não voltaram. Num outro dia não aspiram o chão e dava pra perceber. Reclamei com a gerente e foi resolvido.
Cheguei tarde pra fazer o check in e demorou bastante tempo pra aparecer alguém na recepção.
- Highthere (5/5): -
- Jamy (10/5): - Great staff, clean rooms
- Jessica (10/5): - The facility was Very Clean, smelled clean. The staff was Very Friendly and greeted us every time they seen us. Ask if we needed anything. I will definitely stay again when we are in town. Very quiet didn't hear people in the halls. Great location, with shopping and a lot of dining choices very nearby. Breakfast was good they have several great choices from grab n go, cereal, yogurt to pancakes, sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy.
- Kathleen Anne Kennedy (10/5): - comfortable bed
- Mike (8/5): - IN and out with comfortable stay.
- Shawn (10/5): This is our favorite spot to stay when we are in Stillwater. - This is our go to place when we are in Stillwater. Great location and it’s always clean and comfortable.
- Sheila (10/5): - Very clean hotel
- Michelle (6/5): - We have stayed here before and had a great experience. This time, the room never cooled enough and the air had a humid/moist feel.
The water pressure was way too light.
Maybe it was just our particular room.
- Anna (5/5): -
- michaeld995 (6/5): Just ok - Hotel appeared clean. Staff were nice and helpful. However, there were no USB outlets in the room . There was a musty/mold smell in the room.
- alejandro (10/5): - Nice
- Shawn (10/5): This location is our go to spot when coming to Stillwater. - Location
- Steve (10/5): - Staff was friendly and willing to help in anyway!
- Kellie (8/5): - The dryer did not work and I was washing uniforms
- Randy (2/5): - In general, the room was clean, bed comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The problems were shower - very low water pressure (water sprayed out about 2-3 inches then downward. I felt like Elf (movie) taking a shower), tub very slow to drain - thus standing in shower water (gross!), 1st morning's breakfast (July 4th) at 6:30 AM: eggs were dried out / rubbery (or left overs from prior day), turkey sausage dried out (probably left overs from prior day). 2nd morning's eggs & sausage breakfast were better. Coffee and juice both mornings were good. I asked for a discounted price due to shower & tub issues, but the hotel said I had to ask Expedia for the discount. After driving for 6 hours, people look forward to a relaxing shower with plenty of water - not a shower that is basically a squirt gun. I hope I have been able to clearly communicate the situation and I hope that Expedia will provide a reasonable discount to help with this situation.
- Edna (10/5): - Nice staff and cleanliness
- Edna (8/5): - Clean and nice staff
- Chad (10/5): Exceptional - Jared, the front desk clerk, did an amazing job dealing with a difficult guest.
- Scotty (5/5): Passable -
- Sherry (2/5): - The hotel was overbooked. a I had already paid thru Expedia and the stay was cancelled. It wasn't cancelled until I showed up to get my prepaid room. No phone call was made to alert me of it. I found out after a 13 hour drive to the hotel. We had to find somewhere else to stay at 10:40 p.m. Very disappointed and waiting for my refund.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Clean property
- Alecia (10/5): - Nice neighborhood.

- Laura (4/5): - The pool was out of service/ turning green/ had out of order tape across the door and this was not disclosed when booking or upon checking in. It was a huge disappointment to my youngest son who was looking forward to swimming. Boo Holiday Inn! This should be have been mentioned or your rates should reflect this amenity being broken.
- Shawn (10/5): My favorite spot to stay in Stillwater. - Fantastic Location
- Verified traveler (8/5): Accommodating - Choose this hotel because of the outdoor pool. I had a book and mid day time to kill. We arrived and the pool was being serviced and dry. We opted to change hotels the next night and the front desk was kind to let us out of the three night commitment. Lobby was updated. Staff was friendly.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristie (8/5): Comfortable, convenient but not up to par for the Holiday Inn brand. - Beds are extremely comfortable. Needs a lot of repair. Window shades are non-functioning, have holes in them and are barely hanging. Could not raise them for light in the room. The bathroom tile grout is horribly stained, and some of the tile as well.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (8/5): Good stay, just a few issues - Wonderful clean room, excellent bed, plenty of hot water for shower Room only had one coffee pod and it was decaf. Also, when I called to verify my reservation two weeks prior, they didnt find my name causing me quite a bit of angst that morning. I think the clerk was busy when I called and wasnt careful when entering my name in the system to check for it. Also, the Booking.com confirmation number I gave him didn't match the hotel's confirmation number.
- Amber (6/5): - First of all the $300 plus price was not worth it. I have stayed in 5 star hotels for this price. They up the price for parents weekend and it was not worth it. The rooms are outdated. The remote was hard to work and elevator doors would not shut sometimes.
The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location is close to a lot of things.
- Miriam (6/5): - It’s well located, restaurants and retailers are at walking distance.
Lobby and elevator are dusty and it’s visible to the guests. Carpets on hallways are not well maintained.
The room is spacious but needs to be updated. Shower curtains were stained and very limited on towels.
For a $400 weekend per night you expect a better and more well maintained hotel.
- Sconyers (5/5): Basic. Decent. Affordable. - The price and location are excellent. There was an odor. The carpets are dirty. The toilet lid was stained. The beds were not comfortable and the tv was smaller and the remote did not work well.
At check in it took several minutes for anyone to come up front to assist.
- Mindy (10/5): - ?
- Kailee (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (2/5): - Front desk staff was rude. This was a big event weekend, I understand but this has also been known since October. The staff was unprepared and taking it out on the guest. Couldn’t check in for well over an hour after check in time.
- Mark (10/5): - Good hotel, clean and quite. I would definitely stay again.
- Anna (10/5): - Q
- Randal (8/5): Very good -
- Alissa (6/5): Ok - No early check in. No remote to open the blinds on the window. Holes in the blind on the window. Scheduled a wake up call with front desk and never received it.
- Tommy (2/5): - Room was not ready an hour after normal check in time. If you are sold out for an event that starts at five you should make sure your guests can make it to the event on time.
- Christa (7/5): Good - It was all great The pillow had a musky/dirt smell.
- Clayton (10/5): - Great location
- I2056QFsarahw (10/5): A good experience despite very tough conditions - My stay was during an ice storm and bitter cold temperatures. My colleague and I had to complete a work assignment at the hotel as we could not travel to our site. The front desk agent Stephen did a great job under tough circumstances to make sure we could work in their conference room and very kindly brought us water bottles to make sure we stayed hydrated. Stephen was so accommodating throughout the stay.
Dinner there was just OK. I ate Flatbread that wasn't great bit had very tasty cheese baked to perfection, which was good enough for the rotten conditions outside. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of meats and eggs, cereals, yogurt, and oatmeal, though their bread selection could have been a bit more varied. Their coffee was also very good.
The suite I had was very nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Learning how to operate the remote control blinds was a challenge, but I figured it out. I do recommend adding instructions for them in the room. The bathroom was also spacious but cold, which I just chalked up to the nasty cold outside. Stephen and other workers did a great job of salting the walkways, front entrance, and parking lot to help keep everyone safe.
I am thinking/hoping the hotel was largely undamaged during the recent Stillwater wildfires. Assuming they are still open, I would be happy to stay there again and maybe even test out their outdoor pool in warmer days.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (8/5): Very good - Easy to get to
- Eugena (6/5): - It’s wasn’t great but also not horrible. Mattress was older and not very comfortable, bathroom vanity was beat up with scars, sink had no stopper and could see that the overflow opening was not clean. Only two towels for three guests. Air control in room didn’t work properly. We arrived late & left early so we made due but it was just subpar really.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Staff was friendly.
- Lindi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Staff is SO friendly and helpful! This is our second time staying and they remembered us when we arrived, greeted us, and made us feel so welcome! Room was great, fresh towels every day, attention to detail! I won't book anywhere else in town!
- Shawn (10/5): Great place for a trip to OSU and Stillwater! - Great location! N/A
- Jennifer (10/5): - Both day and night staff were wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed! We extended our stay by one night and staff was great in helping get that done!
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - cleanliness could not get a paper receipt
- FLORAME (8/5): - Came to visit my daughter at OSU for the weekend. I always have good experience with Holiday inn including this particular branch. The breakfast is nice.
- Mohammad R. (10/5): - Clean and newly built.
- Donna (8/5): - The lady that checked me in was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast host was fun as well and gaves great recommendations like eating the delicious cinnamon rolls that were out
- Linda (10/5): Planned to stay one night, Christmas Eve. Due to unforeseen circumstances needed to stay Christmas night as well. Staff - Very clean
- Theresa (8/5): - Decent hotel with a slightly better than average continental breakfast.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sean (8/5): - the staff was very helpful, You are having a issue with the TV remotes otherwise you would of received 5 stars
- Cody (1/5): Bad -
- Randal (8/5): Very good -
- Shawn (10/5): Great place to stay when going to an OSU game. - Great location and breakfast. N/A
- Kristie (6/5): We have stayed at this location several times, and this was by far the worst it has been. - Very convenient location. Items were still in the refrigerator from previous guests, a sticker from a new clothing item was stuck on the front of the vanity, the sink was dirty around the rim ( I wiped it down) and the bathtub has what looks to be a soap scum ring around the front end.
- Heather (8/5): Curtains! - It was a nice property and a safe stay. I just really can't emphasize enough how you just need to replace the shower curtains when there are black stains on them. It has got to be a minimum expense to Holiday Inn to give an immeasurable amount of comfort and cleanliness to each guest. Of all the places they don't want to see uncleanliness, the bathroom and shower are #1!
