Guest Reviews
- Marta (10/5): - Great
- Janet (6/5): - Perfect for a quick stop overnight. Room was clean and quiet. Price was very good.
- Melissa (8/5): - Cheap accommodations, suited our needs. Clean, decent location. Dated. New comforters/duvets, foam toppers for beds would make more comfortable. Good sized rooms and conveniences on site.
- Olusegun (10/5): Exceptional Cleanliness - The room was exceptional clean and comfortable.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Good location.. laundry machines were cheap and handy to use on our long trip. The top dryer dries better.... bring loonies and your own kettle.
- denis (10/5): - Great value.
- Ling (10/5): - Very helpful staff, waited for me to check in late at night
- Sylvie (6/5): - Fairly basic room, usually rented to students so it shows. It was ok for one night.
- Ansh (10/5): - .
- Manoj (8/5): - Bed was very decent
- Robert (8/5): - Nice clean simple room. AC was slowwwwww!
- Jeannette (8/5): - The motel was fine, the bathroom fixtures were clean but the baseboards etc. Could use a good scrub. The kitchen was quite handy and well stocked. The linens were very clean with good mattress and pillow covers and the motel was very quiet.
- Sarah (6/5): - Doors are locked into the motel at midnight, no key to get yourself in so you have to call a guy. He was prompt luckily.
Room blatantly smelled of mold.
- Mary Jhean (8/5): - Easy to check-in and parking is available. Very small bathroom but it’s okay. Free coffee which is a plus. Close to shopping.
- Kim (10/5): - Great stay, comfortable beds, clean, water pressure excellent. Quiet and mins from all amenities. With the convenience of a convenience store, pizza shop and the best authentic Ramen restaurant right in the building.
- Martina (6/5): - Staff was nice, the room was spacious which was nice. Quiet area. The fan in the bathroom, the shower and towels could use a little cleanup. Overall good for a one night stay.
- Paul (10/5): - This is a University residence for most of the year but a perfectly fine inn during July and August. The price was less than half that of the city average so yes it’s basic but for value and a quiet, safe and clean place to sleep it was perfect. Was able to have a great meal out at Lunar rogue Pub with the money we saved.
- Jeffery (8/5): - The Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Faithlyn (8/5): - Great for a quick stay
- Andrew (10/5): - Only stayed for one night, but it had everything I needed nice and clean quiet slept well
- Serge (10/5): - Very clean and well maintained
- Brent (8/5): - It's obviously just a place to sleep. Don't expect 5 stars but, everyone is always nice here and the ramen noodles next door are awesome. Pet friendly too. I give it a solid 3 stars.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Not bad at all for the price !
- Renald (10/5): Cozy - Great place friendly environment
- Wallace (8/5): - Great stay. It's a bit dated but very clean and very convenient. Cheap and clean. You can't beat it.
- Hooman (8/5): - Generally 3/5 stars
- Prinisha (6/5): - It smells stuffy
- jessie (10/5): - Was a nice quiet and cozy stay. Had a convient store and pizza place which was very nice. Had a nice stay.
- Scott (8/5): - The Skyline was a great place to use as a central point while dropping my daughter off at university. Walkable to the university and a bus stop right out your door.
- Yahya (8/5): Decent for the price - Good stay hallway looks nice but the room was okay.
- Xue (10/5): - The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
- Mary (10/5): - Very comfy beds and pillows
- Jean (6/5): - The room was clean but with old amenities. It was convenient to have a laundry facility at this motel.
- Lynn (8/5): - Check in was very good. The property is old and could use some upgrades which justifies its more affordable cost.
- Visnja (10/5): - The use of the kitchen for coffee and breakfast was great. Room was clean and very conveniently located.
- Murray (6/5): - Property is tired. Quite serviceable as a student facility but mainline tourists would leave wanting.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable stay. - Very comfortable compared to similar properties in same class of hotels.
Quiet and easy to access. Friendly staff. Strong internet access. Very well equipped shared kitchen.
Not many restaurants or shops in reasonable walking distance. More suited to travelers with access to an automobile (free parking space).
- Dan (8/5): - overall fine
- Roland (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the availability of the kitchen.
- Cheddi (8/5): - Had a good stay. It was quiet, convenient with friendly and courteous staff. Jay was great out front!
- Colleen (8/5): - Good price and such a nice gentleman at check in.
- Randy (8/5): - It was nice
- Donna (8/5): - Check in was easy. We arrived later than we expected, due to construction en route. The intersection with the lights, so close to the driveway/entrance, is tricky; we actually turned into the elementary school parking lot. But it was easy to exit back onto the road and turn right into the Skyline Motel driveway. My husband and I prefer firmer mattresses, and we found that the bed moved whenever either of us moved. We were only there for a short stay, as we had made reservations for the Digby Ferry from St. John, so we checked out by 5 a.m. We were all happy that there was a pizzeria on site, and that we could get a hot meal, even though it was around 8 p.m. when we finished checking in. We did not find a large garbage, or any recycling boxes, so we left the food containers and empty pop bottles on top of the microwave for staff to recycle. Normally we tidy up better after ourselves.
- Adam (2/5): - Garbage
- Audrey (6/5): - Tv didn’t work. Switched it out and only one channel.
- Kylie (4/5): - Sketchy place
- Robert (8/5): - It was fair value for the cost
- Richard (6/5): - Very small and did not look very clean. Noisy lots of young folks
- Charles (4/5): - This place is kind of a dive, no upkeep on the property.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - No issues
- Sheetal (8/5): - The rooms were clean and huge.. but there was a lm emergency number provided but nobody even picked up my call when I called.. I am just wondering how would someone manage if there was a real emergency like you are stuck outside the room or lossy keys at night..
- Chung Yan (8/5): - Staff is very helpful.
- Michael (8/5): - Seasonal hotel, clean , easy to get to everything in Fredericton. Very economical and lovely rooms for the price. Would stay again.
- Yee (8/5): - Clean
- Yee (8/5): - Clean
- zenon (4/5): - not much not to clean and no coffee no telephone and air condition was poor
- Nathalie (10/5): - Extremely clean and comfortable.
Very Friendly staff.
Will stop again....certainly added to my list of affordable places :)
- Ernest (6/5): - This is an ok older motel used as student residence during the school year. It was not noisy when I was there. Ample parking, a pizza store and a Japanese fast food store next door. No smell of cooking in my room (#38). There is a community kitchen and a laundry room which I did not use. All these would provide basic convenience for summer travelers.
- Stephen (6/5): - Overall I got what I expected and paid for. This is a 3 star property.
- Daruosh (8/5): - Totally it was ok!
- Ricardo (8/5): - Fast service
- Michael (6/5): - The room was OK for the money but has details that need to be looked after. Exhaust fan needs to run independently of light so fresh air can be drawn into room at night, shower needs curved rod, clean deposit on shower head, sheets had spots, bed creaky with little movement. Hire a professional to caulk the shower.
- Aime (8/5): - Clean and staff very friendly. Beautiful view.
- Marie-Claude (6/5): - There were carpet in the room that smell humidity. The blankets were spotted. The thing that was great was the price.
- QIUSHI (6/5): - good and kind service except for poor internet connection
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The owner was very friendly and accommodating upon our arrival. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but pretty much what you would expect from an inexpensive motel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good price, but you get what you pay for. Excellent TV with lots of channels. The room was clean, but it could have used an extra cleaning with some painting. Great friendly staff!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Diana and her staff were especially helpful from the moment I arrived. I like the location because it is on a bus route. The room was clean and the bed was firm and comfortable. I'll definitely book here on my return next trip.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owner and the staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The skyline motel was very clean with very helpful staff. New rooms with a cool tv definitely will be staying there again. The host there was very friendly and helpful 5 stars!!
- Kevin (10/5): Clean friendly hotel. - We really enjoyed the stay. Clean spacious room.
The front desk was not manned full time on Saturday, but a call and the receptionist was there in Iess than 5 mins. Since we knew this ahead of time we called on our way and the receptionist was there waiting for us.
Friendly easy check-in.
Convenient location, close to everything.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Spartan in features but very clean recently refurbished room. Quite quiet as not downtown but only a few minutes away. City hall gives free parking pass to visitors so no problems & a good deal.
- Kathy (8/5): Our stay at the Skyline Motel, best decision ever. - We had a good stay at the Skyline Motel. The room was comfortable and very clean. The Motel was close to everything we chose to see. There is also a Chinese restaurant and convenience store, which houses a pizza take out. Perfect for lighter meals. I recommend this motel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - You get what you pay for. Clean but dated! Friendly staff. Room doesn’t look like in the photos .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It had a homey feeling about it. I liked the fact that some people make this their actual home. Room was large and comfortable, but smelled musty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The service was excellent! The rooms, however, are in need of renovation, as you can tell the rooms are old and deteriorating, which gives the place an air of uncleanliness.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Motel section looked a bit run-down but the room itself was clean and the A/C worked well.
- brian (4/5): Not great, but the price is right. - The place was not great, but ok for an overnight stop on the road. The microwave in the room was filthy and had to be cleaned before use. The toilet rim was dirty, a bulb was out in one of the lamps, and one of the bed spreads was stained. The one good thing was you could get something to eat at the pizza spot on the same location.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was supposed to be security on the property to let people in upon late arrival, but they were no way to be found. The property owner was pleasant, but the staff at the check was very cold. The room was not clean
- Sam (10/5): - The staff are really nice and is nice that there is a convient store and two restaurant attached to it and also a kitchen to cook
- Sam (8/5): - Its old, it could use some updates, but its great for the price or for a low key weekend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Need to do more cleaning. Organize their products
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was an alright place to stay. I wouldn’t say amazing as the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was good for the price and the location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This property was dated but the rooms were very clean. We had prebooked 2 separate rooms 30 days in advance but upon check in a handwritten receipt was being made for 1 room. I corrected the receptionist and she said that she wasn't aware of the 2 rooms reserved for us but that she would check. Luckily, we had printed off our reservation and showed her. Also, lucky for us, there was rooms available. I definitely wouldn't have been a happy camper if all other rooms were unavailable. The motel was a very basic motel and has the potential to be very noisy due to the hallways having an echo. For example, someone was knocking on a door, 2 doors down from ours, we had to check our door because it sounded like they were knocking on our door. We can't say that this would be a hotel that we would ever book again. The only bonus with this motel is that there's a full kitchen available for guest to use that's fully equipped. The only thing you have to bring is your own food. There's also a fridge in each room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for a cheap stopover - Our stay was adaquate. We knew it was a budget motel so we went in with an open mind. Our room was on the lower level so it smelled slightly like a basement but once again, it’s a budget motel. Very easy to get to from the highway.
Staff were friendly, accommodated early check in and late check out. Rooms do not have iron/ironing board but they happily brought one out for us to borrow. Would stay again if we were looking for a cheap place to stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Consider staying elsewhere. - This place was so bad I don’t know where to start. Totally misleading photos. And so dirty. Disappointed this booking site would offer this. Please stay elsewhere.
- Brian (6/5): - The rooms was clean, layout was strange with bathroom sink
outside the bathroom and beside the entrance, the bathroom needs
a complete overhaul.
There were a lot of issues with the condition of the property, leaks appear to be everywhere,
- elizabeth (2/5): - staff very pleasant and treated me with respect ,but I could not stay there. noisy and windows filthy;
- Michael (8/5): Good motel for the price - Very good motel for the price. Older and dated fixtures and carpet. Room had a flatscreen TV, a microwave and fridge. Bathroom was good and clean. Shower/ tub worked well. Vanity was outside bathroom. Bed was firm, but comfortable.
We were only there for one night. Very good experience.
- Ahsan (6/5): The motel is very basic - The motel is very basic, just good for a night sleep over. Beware with the missing towels, they have a tendency to charge extra without informing the guest first and then try to call and explain about the charge!
- Dmitrii (8/5): Need to install AC in the kitchen - I would be great to install AC in the kitchen - it is way too hot in there.
- Chantal (8/5): - The property was great it's an older building and could be updated with removal of carpets and such but all and all it was a nice stay we would stay there again
- Nita (8/5): - Liked being close to access to all points in Fredericton yet quiet location off the busy highways. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Used clean laundry facilities. Had good rest and lovely walk along river trails in early morning. would stay here again.
- Benoit (8/5): Skyline motel in Fredericton - The Skyline motel in Fredericton was ok. The room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Microwave, refrigerator, table and chairs. The wifi reception was very good. Flat screen TV. The unusual thing was the fact that the bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. Efficient A/C. No morning breakfast included, but since the motel is not far from downtown, not a real inconvenience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible place . Not clean. The pictures you see when you are booking the room is not even close to what you get.
- Karen (6/5): Convent, budget stay. - This is a budget hotel, don't expect more and you won't be disappointed. Great walk to the Garrison area of Fredericton. Young staff very friendly but knowledgeable about the area ... you are your own guide.😀
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Parking far from room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the motel is dark inside, the halls. Even though the light bulb that was out the first day was replaced within 24 hours, it was still difficult to see the lock to insert the key. The fan which smelled of cigarette smoke was disconnected when I complained but there was still the occasional smell of cigarette smoke.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a nice motel and it is in the middle of the city
- Tristan (4/5): - There is lots of DUST which i am allergic too, and i got bit by something while I was staying.
