- Edna (10/5): - Location of this hotel is great because it is within 5 minutes of one major highway and within 5 miles from another, the NJ Turnpike. Other advantages are that there is free parking and the hotel is several steps away from a restaurant. I thought the service was good, the atmosphere was fun, but the food, while enjoyable, was not spectacular. I had a room with two beds, a sofa bed, a large closet, and a nice size desk, which was very comfortable, but the bathroom sink was clogged which was gross.

We had an accessible room and I imagine the regular rooms are better in that regard. We had a very good experience.

- WriterKass (10/5): Delightful stay & GREAT rooms - We had a lovely stay at this hotel this week. The room was nearly immaculate. The beds & pillows comfortable and crisp. We loved the layout of the room, it’s seamless and open. We traveled with three children and a baby, and stayed in a two queen bed + sofa bed suite. It was perfect for us. We travel with our own pack and play bed for the baby, and it fit very nicely in the room, with all of us and our luggage, and we were all comfortable and still had ample space in the room. We wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was good. They have two waffle makers, oat milk, fresh fruit, and quiche, which was great. The gentlemen who managed the dining area was sweet, attentive and on point. The entire hotel seems to be run very well. We were delighted by everything, from the cleanliness that was consistent throughout the hotel as we experienced it, to the quality of the design and finishes in the room. We would love to stay here again. Only complaint was the sofa bed in our room. Although everything else was very clean and lovely, the sofa itself had quite a few stains on it, on the arm rest, cushions and pillow. One of our children would be sleeping on it, we didn’t open it but we had to use all of the sofa bed sheets to cover the whole sofa and then take sheets from the beds for our little one to tuck them in. I recommend the hotel clean the sofa better.

Clean and attractive pool and workout room. Breakfast well above average (we were happy enough to tip the staff). Outdoor patios proved to be a good place to hang out.

When I tried to book a room on your site the reservation wouldn’t go through. When I called I was given a price that was twice what the on line quote was and the representative pulled an attitude with me.

We didn’t need it with our traveling party, but I liked the partition on the desk that you could close to create more privacy. Pros- Nice location of the hotel, clean grounds (able to have a nice walk/run in the area), and a really nice clean spacious lobby area. Staff were friendly we encountered at the front desk and breakfast area. Speaking of breakfast, it wasn’t the best, but it was more than good, nice options, thank you. Workout room was adequate, would like more weightlifting options but it was doable. Cons- Pool was a little chilly! Room was a little dusty in areas. Overall, we had a nice stay, will return when need to stay in the area again. Oh- you must go to the Hoagie Hut, a few miles away, great hoagies and more!

- Decker (8/5): Pretty good for an almost last minute situation. - Breakfast had a large assortment and was appreciated by everyone's individual palate. Well stocked. I reserved for two adults and two kids (ages 8 and 15). I do not know where the second kid was to sleep. There was a king mattress and a couch with a twin mattress. We had to throw the 8 year old in bed with the adults. Not super great, but putting her with her 15 year old (soon to be 16-yr old brother who is over 6 feet tall) would not work - neither one would have been able to sleep.

- Elena (8/5): Solid space for a family - Comfortable beds, excellent customer service. Some noisiness and our room got double booked so a stranger walked in at one point, which was scary - although it was okay in the end. Excellent value for a room that fits our family plus a yummy breakfast.

- Y8017EKwilll (4/5): Poor Management - STAY AWAY! The hotel itself is beautiful, but the staff and management team are very very troublesome. My husband and I got married in Somerset three months ago and stayed in the bridal suite the night after our wedding. Upon waking up the next day, we left the room to eat breakfast in the lobby for approximately half an hour. When we returned to our suite, the door to our room was wide open and our belongings were nowhere to be found. A maid was cleaning the room and when asked where our stuff was, she simply responded, "I don't know. Front desk." While leaving the room, we happened to look inside the garbage bag on her cleaning cart and were infuriated to find that our valuable and sentimental possessions were all thrown away, including my makeup and emptied out makeup bag, bridal bouquet, bridal tote, wedding heels, "wifey" sweatshirt, watch box, and congratulatory balloons that had been popped. Please note that WE HAD NOT CHECKED OUT YET and it was an hour before checkout time. This was an outright violation of our privacy and belongings! Following the incident, we reached out to management and were told that an insurance claim would be filed to compensate us for our lost items. It has been three months and we receive zero communication unless we actively follow up - even then, we are informed that they are "working on the issue" only to be ignored again. This incident has permanently tainted the most special weekend of our lives. We would never recommend this hotel to any friend or family member.
- 647darlened (10/5): Great Place...what. a hidden gem! - Wonderful staff, so clean with spacious rooms, great breakfast with a fantastic breakfast coordinator (gentleman managing the breakfast activities)! Loved this place and the staff! Indoor pool area very nice for granddaughter. I shall return!

- 993gerib (10/5): Perfect Hotel for Local Wedding Party! - The SpringHill Suites on cedar Grove Lane in Somerset was a great choice for a wedding party! Exceptional service provided by Inez at the front desk to accommodate our special circumstance. I highly recommend!

- Theresa (10/5): I recommend this place so much for families of 5-6 - This hotel is absolutely amazing. There are comfortable beds for at least 6 people. The bathroom AND walk in closet are both big enough for teens to change in. The breakfast is the best I have seen yet. The price was sooooo low.
