- James (10/5): we were there overnight so my wife could attend a class at Stanford--perfect for that - a bit hard to get used to the "no charge" mode, but it is wonderful.
- Xi (10/5): Awesome - Everything was beyond our expectations. Check-in was quick and smooth, and they even helped us with valet parking. The room was nice and clean, and the housekeeping lady was very responsive. The food was delicious, the snacks were high quality, and the coffee was amazing. The only downside is that there are no Asian food options on the menu, and if you stay more than two nights, you will basically run out of new dishes to try.

The suites made it easy to feel at home, something very welcome since we had been looking for accommodations while our house was having work done. The parking facility l, while functional, was rather cramped.

- Diane (10/5): Amazing experience - Everything was top of the line here. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We want to give a special shout out to the afternoon and evening staff working on Saturday, June 29, 2025! They went way above and beyond to make our visit a wonderful experience! My granddaughter especially loved having “her own” TV and all of the great food and drink options. We are looking forward to coming back once the rooftop pool renovation is completed!

With the menu choices for both breakfast, lunch and dinner and the availability to pick out a snack with an open kitchen model any time of the day, it was well appointed, the rooms were large and roomy, and the bathroom TV was definitely an upscale touch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the patio and living room area were a nice option to relax at the end of the day.

The rooms are beautiful and very large with amazing contemporary bathrooms that are also very spacious. We stayed 10 days and it felt like home in a high end condo with great room service. The pillows are amazing and the staff are fantastic. This is a very special incredibly well run and new hotel like no other.

This was our first visit (as several friends had told us we need to stay here) and boy, were they right!!!! Staff is superb..knowledgable.. and friendly... rooms were large and spacious for us to work from, and the "food perk" made for a wonderful end to each day we stayed here. We will be back often!
- ANLarsen (10/5): Quality feeling & great food - What a nice delux stay. Nice calm vibe. Great staff. Suite is at high standard, Toto etc. All inclusive concept very nice especially with the kids. High quality food prepared fresh - drinks at very good level e.g. on of the reds marquis murrieta reserve. I had my own stash of top wines I could bring without charge. Pool was under renovation - however we could use the pool at hotel next door. The kids really liked the pool, however it could also use a renovation. We also used the fitness room next door, newly renovated with many options. Only thing was a bit of waiting time on the food, but it was worth it.

Also, it appears that they make it a point to know your name and to remember your name during your stay. The rooms, suites and common areas, in addition to being meticulously cleaned, are extraordinarily attractive, comfortable and welcoming. The Clement Hotel is an all inclusive hotel. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, hors d’oeuvres, alcoholic beverages, and nonalcoholic beverages are included in the room rate. Don’t delude yourself into thinking that the food served is “cafeteria food” - far from it. The Clement Hotel has on its staff top notch chefs who create wonderful and sophisticated dishes. There is no extra charge for parking your vehicle on site. Valet service is included within your room,rate. No tips are expected by staff. The Clement Hotel is not cheap. However, the Clement Hotel delivers on all counts. There is never a question as to whether you have gotten “value” for your money. The hotel is a “10 out of 10.”

- wiscoSheryn (10/5): Exquisite 5 star stay in Palo Alto - Stayed at The Clement Hotel for admitted Students Weekend and what a great way to be introduced to Palo Alto. We were initially at The Westin and transferred here. The concierge staff was amazing and made sure every detail was attended to !! I cannot thank or acknowledge Gail, Bernie and Cynthia enough. Everyday they would ask if we needed anything early morning and made sure to remember all those details for us the next day without us even asking . Their warmth , prompt service and friendly attitude highlight what true customer service should be like and really made our stay. The food was delicious and the kitchen staff even kept up with all the requests my husband and son had for food promptly and with such courtesy. This hotel is a gem and we are looking forward to our stay at this lovely hotel during move in weekend in September.

The food is amazing. The pool and the hot tub are our favorite! We like to come here and treat it like a little mini resort. A staycation for us, and one of our favorites.

The Clement is impeccable on all dimensions (location, rooms, food and amentities) but the _service_ is absolutely off-the-charts outstanding. Our last stay was in the midst of a tumultuous few days for us when we were juggling dynamic business and personal obligations. We kept having to extend our stay in Palo Alto and then had to leave on short notice. The front desk staff of the Clement, with a very special mention for Gail, were kind, flexible, understanding and helpful beyond all expectations. For example, being super-flexible about check-in/check-out times and moving our resevation around, letting us camp out in the conference room until our late flight, helping with document printing/signatures/scanning/courriering and more. Absolutely amazing. Thank you and see you again soon!

There are only 21 rooms, so you're getting close to the butler experience! In-room niceties include Nespresso coffee, free snacks and soda.

Meals and snacks were effortless and delicious so we could focus on our busy itinerary. There was always a friendly face to great us as we came and went from the property. The location is perfect, close to Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, and the park right across the street.

The warmth and friendliness of the staff and the ease at which one can use the facilities, including the open kitchen and the living room are unparalleled. Every amenity is taken care of, with grace and efficiency. Because there is very little staff turnover, it truly is like coming home each time we stay there.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Pamper yourself at this hotel - The purpose of this trip was to celebrate an accomplishment in our family as well as to give my entire family a much needed break from our daily grind ever since Covid started. We chose the right hotel to do that. While staying there for 3 nights, we ordered room service, ate til we're full, spent hours at the pool and hot tub, spent hours soaking in the giant tub in our suite, watched TV and rested our minds. This is not how we usually do our daily lives :) However, after working very hard every day this year, we felt entitled to reward ourselves with a luxury hotel stay. The only thing we hoped was more available was Chromecast on the TV. It's either the functionality was there but we didn't find it, or it was not there altogether. Our family watches a lot of Netflix to rewind so it would have made the experience much better if we had Chromecast or Netflix function on the TV. Overall, if you are looking somewhere to be pampered and treated like a royalty, this is the place. From guest services, housekeeping and all the personalized touches, it was very very good.

- Scott (8/5): Great place mediocre bed - Overall this place is great, a little on the pricey side but if you utilized the all inclusive aspect of it, it makes you feel like it was worth it. Service is incredible and every employee there was very kind and helpful, the room was very nice with heated bathroom floors and tvs everywhere. My only problem was the bed, the mattress felt like quick sand, the pillows were so massive almost unuseable and the down comforter must have weighed 50lbs felt like i was getting smootheted but if you are into that kind of stuff than it's the perfect place! I will probably stay here again but might try the pull out couch next time!

- Michael (10/5): Fabulous boutique hotel - The Clement will be our go to hotel in Palo Alto. It is a unique concept for an in town hotel; totally all inclusive including gourmet food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Chef Mark prepared a sumptuous eight course dinner for us including lobster and caviar (see photos). The room was so well outfitted with Frette towels and robes and high end linens. It even had a Toto toilet with built in bidet which we have at home and love. We also found the staff so friendly and helpful. We will return!

It only made good sense as it was a nice walk for me there to Stanford stadium. Well, we so enjoyed the Clement (outstanding comforts, staff, amenities, roof top patio with pools and during the afternoon a barbecue and a nice quiet lounge where we were wonderfully attended) that we decided to re-treat ourselves with a 2nd night stay! - Steven (6/5): Nice idea, poor execution - Really wanted to love this hotel, chose to celebrate anniversary at this beautiful all inclusive property. Pros: amenities, aesthetics, comfort, cleanliness, and the OG concierge team (Gile and Sebastian). Cons: the mediocre food, brand new team of staffs that still needs to be trained, and the lack of personalization that was supposed to come along with the hefty price tag. Keep your expectations on the lower side, especially considering the price. Four Seasons would be a cheaper/more consistent option; I’d rather pay for my food with the money saved.
