• Maricris (4/5): - Although the property is uphill with narrow alley, it is near the convenience stores, cafe's and souvenir shops The room is not the same on the picture. I think we've been given a different room because the city is so busy. There are only 5 of us who stayed and no one can walk when someone is eating on the table. No place to put our luggages. No one can use the kitchen properly if someone needs to open the door. The show cabinet smells so badly.

• Andrea (1/5): Scam - The location It’s not easy to access it. It’s in the middle of a steep alley with no car access. If you’re bringing any type of luggage you are going to have a hard time. The apartment had a strong humidity smell and was dirty. The walls were stained, there was dusk everywhere and even bugs. We gave it a chance but as soon as I lied down, my body started itching. We had to find somewhere else to sleep at 10 pm, it was the worst experience ever

• Jacqueline (7/5): Live dangerously - Adequate and very convenient Whole building is a death trap. All staircases and landings were blocked with everything from washing machines to suitcases, baby baths , fridges, recycling bins and crates of beer for basement restaurant. High fire risk with basement restaurant and kitchen.
• Ntombizethu (5/5): Lamps in loft,clear stairwells, blackout curtains and soundproofing needed - They had a water filter machine which was good and they allowed us to check in early. They also had umbrellas. Firstly the location is an officetel that is located on a hill above a pork/bbq place so if you are Muslim it’s not a good place. This also resulted in a constant noise from the extraction fans meaning very poor sleep during the first few nights and there was no soundproofing. There was no lamp in the loft area which meant the person sleeping on the first floor had to get up to turn off/on the light for us every time we needed it.There was also too many things stored in the store well/landing and no emergency light in the apartment meaning it’s becomes a potential fire hazard.
• EDIE (5/5): Good enough for college kids - Liked that it was near a convenience store,the apartment had what you needed-toiletries,hairdryer,well lit The size of the apartment was not accurate, way too small for 3 people.The location was hard to navigate for an older person,many stairs & uneven walkways,too hard to get our luggage there.The beds had fresh linens & the bathroom was beautiful and clean but the rest of the apartment was not clean.The covering on the sofa was dirty & stained.

Got everything facilities for traveller The building is share with restaurant which is we need to cross where the restaurant keep their belonging. But is small matter.

• Nigia (4/5): It’s a good apartment for 2 but not 4 - The location is good as you’re right by the town of myeongdong, easy access to train station and bus stops. Staff is friendly. Plenty of shops surrounding. Didn’t get the property that shown. The apartment is so small for 4 people, can’t barely move. The bed is right on top and it’s a futon style. Stayed there 2 weeks and no one come and clean the apartment, at least leave a dust pan so we can control dust the apartment as it gets very dusty inside the apartment.

• Ann (3/5): Certainly not worth the value. - The location is good, strategically located at myeongdong The unit is full of morph, fly, even cockroaches. The hallways are all packed with luggages, if there is a fire, all residents will be trapped. This is the not cleanliness in Korean term.

• Alessandro (5/5): Posizione ottima e struttura calda ma puzza per tutto il soggiorno - La posizione ed il calore dell'appartamento in questo periodo molto freddo. Un pessimo odore ci ha accompagnato per tutto il soggiorno, la camera era incredibilmente sporca ed il letto a molle molto scomodo. Non ci sono insegne e il secondo piano (dove si trovava la camera) era praticamente un deposito.

• Lee Chen (1/5): Book at own risk - Nothing. We checked in and checked out the same day. The apartment was a hole in the wall. It doesn't fit 3 adults for sure. The worse was trying to get to the apartment. You either have to carry you4 luggage down 2 flights of stairs or carry them up 2 flights. Further more the entrance to the apartment is through a b1 of restaurant. The walkways, stairs are all clustered with boxes and boxes of things. Which is a fire hazard not to mentioned block all the fire escape except the lift.

Location is at a very steep hillside,had to climb everytime which is dangerous and not suitable for elderly or young kids.One must be very healthy and athletic to stay here.Picture given is not as described whereby its not family friendly and much smaller unit.Mattress had spring coming out,pillow were too soft and some electrical fixtures were broken.Its actually a restaurant worker hostel convert to airbnb.The loft bed had grill broken which was dangerous and had informed the owner but nothing done.The 2 dryers is always occupied 24hrs for my entire duration stay which had also informed the owner.Very poorly and dishonest description by the owner.Had to climb down and uphill of many stairs to myeongdong station which is very dangerous during cold season which is totally impractical.Kids had a tough time staying here.Owner wasnt willing to answer calls and only comm thru mssg.

• Nurul Athira (7/5): I would recommend this place and the host! - The overall location of the airbnb is very central. So it’s easy to access key areas. For example, airport limousine station is near to the property and host is also very clear on how to get to the airbnb. Which is excellent! It is also easy to grab an uber or take the train. Located near to the famous 12 stories Daiso and street market. We had our 1 year old with us and it was challenging to go up and down the hill and stairs.

- The host was wonderful—very understanding, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Location — Good, With Shops and Myeongdong Nearby ✅
The location was convenient for us. My siblings and I are used to walking long distances (with average of 10k steps a day for work), so getting around wasn’t an issue. For seniors or families with young children, it may feel like a bit of a walk—but it can also be seen as a nice bit of daily exercise & a way to digest all the food consumption. 🤪 Laundry & Dryer — Could Be Improved ❎
- The rooms have their own laundry and was okay, but be sure to buy extra detergent. The dryers were a bit challenging to use; they were often occupied, and when we did use them, we needed several cycles before our clothes fully dried—even with a small load. Room Layout & Size — Not Ideal for Everyone ❎
- The unit has two levels: the living room, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom are downstairs, while the two beds foam are upstairs. The staircase is narrow and quite steep, so holding the handrail is important when going down. It may not be suitable for seniors or young children, or with lots of luggage. But the room works well for two adults. Accessibility — Steep Street ❎

• TereseB (7/5): A few steps from Myongdong street and still quiet - GREAT location. Very effective use of space. We are a family of 7, it was very tight but it worked. I would reccomwt 4 ppl though 😅 Quick and helpful answers from the host. Somewhat hard to find. Yes you find the apartment by walking back stage of the restaurant to the elevator far down in the corridor. It was actually funny. An unusual experience. The beds, bathroom, refrigerator and kitchen were clean but the curtains need a wash.

• Celsie (10/5): Excellent location and apartment had all we needed! - Location was excellent! Wouldn’t recommend if you have physical ailments however, due to an incline and stairs. But location was close to metro and many attractions. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had any amenities we needed. The shower control was difficult to manage temperature consistency. • nora (4/5): Smaller than advertised! - Location This is the biggest lie I ever experienced with booking! The host advertised the flat 37 square meters! This flat is maximum 15 square meters! Extremely small for 4 people even 2! There is an attic wich is approx 120 cm high, so you cant stand up, you have to climb on your knees! And the stairs are so narrow, that its not easy to climb up and down! In the “living room” which is also kitchen and bedrom, there is a table, it’s leg is demaged. Not to mention the bathroom! You have shower on the floor, right in front of the sink, and there is no curtain, no cabin, no nothing. If you have a shower, everything gets wet! There wasn’t any mop to clean it. I asked for it, and the host sent one to us. Which was kind. All together we spent great time in Soul, and we tried to spend as little time in the apartment as we could. I ask the host, correct the size of the apartment, because the size he/she stated is just simlpy not true! And sadly it is dirty as well. I dont recommend.

• Victoria (5/5): Sehr klein und schmuddelig, für 2 Leute und kurzen Aufenthalt aber ok - Super Lage, Fußläufig zu vielen Shopping Straßen und Streetfood. Direkt an der UBahn mit super Verbindung! Leckere Restaurants und Matcha Läden in der Nähe! Sehr günstig und für 2/3 Tage gut. Die Unterkunft war direkt in einem BBQ Laden und wenn man hoch ging zum Apartment war alles super dreckig, hat gestunken und war vollgestellt. Die Wohnung war ok, sehr klein also maximal 3 Leute haben dort Platz! Die Einrichtung ist etwas veraltet und in den Ecken ist Dreck. Die Dusche ist offen im Bad sodass man nach einer Minute schon alles unter Wasser gesetzt hat.

Scala per salire sul soppalco ripida e pericolosa, bagno piccolissimo. Entrata nello stabile in comune con il deposito del ristorante, scale e pianerottoli usati come ripostiglio, moquette sporca ecc... A mio avviso struttura da cancellare .

Be aware to this place - lots of stairs - even to reach elevator!

• Sim (7/5): Good - A great stay overall. Good communication from the host, the replies are almost immediately. Location is also good, near subway exit 3 and at quiet side of Myeongdong. There are lots of items placed along the stairway within the building, blocking the exit route. Not all the powerpoints are working. Need to work on sound proofing. The steps to sleeping area is quite steep, may not be suitable for those with mobility issue.
• Mia (9/5): Great location, great value - There's a lift going towards the second floor where we stayed. Free wifi. Really liked the heated floors and bidet in the bathroom. The kitchen was stocked up with kitchen essentials and lots of amenities provided that are sometimes taken for granted. For a group of 4 people, it was a bit cramped. We'd sometimes walk in a single file as we didn't account for the big luggages we had to store under the stairs. Getting up the stairs could be a challenge, too, trying not to hit our heads into the ceiling as there's not a big space to move around once you get up to the second floor.

The toilet problem lasted for two days meaning we were close to relocating to another hotel. Also the bin in the bathroom was full of co2 cartridges which were definitely not ours! We had excellent, fast, clear communication throughout. The property was a little dirty - definitely could have been cleaner. It's a little tired, the paint is marked / scuffed and could probably do with a fresh coat of paint.

Host did not answer the phone, we circled the property for 2 hours trying to find an entryway... finally found it via a BBQ restaurant's utility/store room. · Loft apartment was almost inaccessible due to steep entry stairs with no handrail. The so called “bedroom “had to be accessed via a ladder in the kitchen. No bed only mattress on the floor and ceiling height was too low to even sit up. The worse thing however was the loud noise of what sounded like a constantly filling toilet cistern. No sound insulation, one window in the entire apartment that looked out to a brick wall. Pictures on site are deceiving - please be aware if booking the loft apartment that it is NOT suitable for those with even the most minor mobility issues.
• Thresye (8/5): Good location - The location is super convenient and close to station. There are plenty of eateries and shops nearby. The apartment is clean, and the host responded to messages quickly. It's good a place if you are on budget. The space is a bit small for a family. The location is up on a hill. It's best not to carry big luggages as you had to go up and down some stairs. The window also faces the wall.
• Ruby (2/5): Very poor - Affordable We received a different room than what was pictured in the apartment. We did not realise until we have spent a few nights when we reviewed the booking which made it too late to do anything about it. The noise next door was loud as there were renovations happening.
• Thao (8/5): A cosy place to stay - Apartment J garden was a cosy place to stay. It covered all the needed amenities for our family, and was so close to Myeong dong station and night market which was perfect for my group. We definitely had difficulties trying to locate the place initially and was a heck of a time carrying our luggage through a flight of steps to get to the place.

• Clementine (7/5): good for the price but not very clean - Location is great, appartment is nice small for 4 people but if you're booking it just to have a place to sleep, it's good ! looks clean on the outside but when you look close you can tell the cleaning aint well made. saw a few insects in the bathroom too. walls are dirty, top of fournitures are dusty, few hairs here and there

• Asnorliza (8/5): Very like my cute stay here..will consider again for next visit. - Super near (walking distance) to the subway myeongdong station Exit 3. Next to Kampungku (Halal Malaysia/Korean Restaurant) with super nice meal (everyday we ate Chicken ^^). Supercute home complete all with home facilities we needed. Super near to few convinient shops. 2 blocks near to 12 storeys Daiso Korea (hot attraction). Super safe area :) No translation provided for clear instruction to use on the electrical appliances. please consider to upgrade on this in the future. I took few days to familiarize how to set the heater and washing machine. The common dryer (need to pay 1000 krw) very cheap but was not functioning very well :(
• Gesse (6/5): Pleasant - The place is clean n convenient..location is fantastic.. Recommended for couple or single only. But the stairs up is not conducive for elderly to climb. For family of 3 ..the room may be a little too small..the space is limited to use Response from the operator is also slow.
