Le personnel est adorable, un grand merci à Thao pour son aide durant ces 3 jours pour l organisation de nos sorties, et tout simplement pour son accueil😊,c était un plaisir de discuter avec elle.

Despite high qualities and again, very carring employees and managers, the place is feeling like not maintain at high standards. Beautiful garden but not enough taking care, lovely rooms but some bad details (devices in shower broken, vegetations not cut, pictures from booking were outdated by at least 10 years....) I would recommend if you are not picky on details because the staff is great (thank you yo the lovely lady who speaks some french words) and food very good, but don't trust the pictures or you would be disapointed.

BEAUTIFUL location! Beautiful view from the room, private balcony, gorgeous bamboo interior, free bikes, and free breakfast!!! For breakfast every day I got coffee, a banh mi sandwich made to order, and fruit. Biked with my friends around the area and to Ninh Binh proper (~30/45 min to the city area with all the shops and Trang an). The area is a bit more remote but that’s what we loved about it. Also it’s just a little quick 5 minute bike ride from a famous park with multiple caves and boat tours! Everyone was so nice at this hotel and we felt super taken care of. Also got to feed some ducks at the farm across the way. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! Great experience and great value!

Aucun conseil donné par l hotel pour les visites autour
- Raluca (10/5): - The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well organized, which made our stay really enjoyable. One of the best parts was that we had bicycles available, and we spent the whole day riding around and exploring the area. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun stay
- Roos (8/5): Heerlijk rustig resort midden in de natuur - Ongelofelijk leuke locatie, midden in de natuur. Onze kamer was erg ruim en lag heerlijk rustig. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en denkt graag met je mee én maakt graag een gezellig praatje. Het is ook mogelijk een taxi te boeken naar Hanoi, dus uitstekende service! Ook het ontbijt is prima en erg uitgebreid. We zouden iedereen dit resort aanraden! De kamer en badkamer was niet overal even schoon, maar wat ons betreft een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

- Lidwine (8/5): Heerlijk rustig en natuurlijk omgeven verblijf - Het zat op een super goede locatie. Je kon de drukte opzoeken, maar zat zelf op een heel rustig gedeelte. In 7 minuten stapte je de Grab uit in het centrum. Het personeel was ook super vriendelijk en je kon je vrij bewegen door de mooie tuin. We vonden de receptie niet echt goed bereikbaar in de tijd dat wij er verbleven. ‘s Morgens vonden we niemand, en ook de nieuwe mensen die aankwamen konden volgens mij pas ‘s middags iemand aanspreken. En toen wij moesten uitchecken hadden we mazzel dat er een personeelslid liep die een Engels sprekend personeelslid kon bellen. Je kan je sleutel gewoon bij de receptie leggen, dat was geen probleem geweest, maar we wilden nog 2 biertjes afrekenen. Maar al met al een momentopname. Ze stonden in principe altijd voor je klaar.

- María (7/5): Bien, pero en absoluto es un resort. - El lugar es espectacular, muy muy bonito a nivel paisaje y naturaleza, aunque está bastante retirado de Tam Coc, pero un grab cuesta aproximadamente 2€ y puedes coger bici gratuita del alojamiento el tiempo que quieras. El día del checkout nos ofrecieron la habitación hasta las 9:30 de la noche de manera gratuita, lo que nos vino muy bien para dejar las maletas todo el día y volver a ducharnos antes de partir a nuestro próximo destino. Nos hicieron la colada y la verdad que la ropa quedó muy limpia. El personal es súper amable, muy muy recomendable en este sentido. Venden un resort y honestamente pienso que nada que ver. Los bungalows no están mal pero están abiertos, toda la construcción está mal rematada y puede entrar cualquier cosa por ahí. Al baño se accede desde la habitación pero es una especie de construcción aparte y además está completamente abierta por el techo al exterior, si quieres una experiencia de naturaleza 100% muy bien, pero si quieres una experiencia de resort, para mí no lo fue. Es cierto que las camas tienen dosel con mosquitera, aún así no estaba tranquila 100% porque ya digo que la habitación queda abierta a cualquier animal que quiera entrar. Por otro lado, el desayuno es bastante bastante malo, lo que tampoco me encaja con un resort.

Aun asi, no comimos nada al final por que era comida vieja y habia lo que creemos que era caca de rata en las mesas. La cama tenia pelos de otra persona.

- Romén (6/5): Hotel con mucho potencial, descuidado - La ubicación es preciosa, en medio de la montaña a 5 minutos en coche del centro de Tam Coc. Encargado en recepción muy amable y serviciales. Limpieza, encontramos objetos en la habitación del anterior huésped. Falta de higiene a diario. Material oxidado en la ducha. Comida no muy presentable.
- Daphne (9/5): A peaceful getaway with mother nature - The surroundings are beautiful ! The view from the pool and even from the room terrace is stunning. It is calm and away from the noise of Tam Coc City hustle (they are right next to the Bich Dong Pagoda). Best way to go around is to rent a motorcycle, but they also lend bikes for free. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful, and so is their dog. The hotel manager helped me buy special batteries for my analogue camera that i couldn’t find by myself in Ninh Binh town. That was super nice of him ! Since it’s a little bit remote, everything is more expensive there, from the food/beverages/motorcylce rental to… the laundry. It is 4$/kg ! We didn’t ask the price beforehand and we ended up paying around 16 dollars for our laundry, because apparently they do it by hand. Also, if you choose a room that is not a bungalow, you can hear your neighbors very clearly. There are also bugs, but this is normal since it’s in the middle of nature, so be prepared for mosquito bites and some pleasant encounters with cockroaches.

- Andrew (8/5): Decent few days - Stayed in one of the junior bungalows with the stone clad internal walls and marble floor. It was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a simple affair, omelette, cakes , bread . Coffee variable . Normally breakfast served in outside but covered area but on one particularly wet morning it was served in the upstairs restaurant which looked like it could have done with a good clean . Staff friendly and proactive Good location a few kms out of town . Nice cycling routes nearby
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional - This was a lovely, quiet place to stay in the countryside. My room was absolutely lavish, and well worth the price! A gift of strong rice wine was a nice surprise. The staff were excellent and helped me decide what to do during my stay. I enjoyed biking around the nearby countryside; it was absolutely gorgeous. If you are a birder, the area is really nice. The marsh across the road was brimming with yellow and cinnamon bitterns, waterhens, coucals, rails, kingfishers, prinias, fantails, herons, egrets, and so many other good things! You can try fishing just down the road, and there is a short walk or bike ride to an excellent boat tour through some caves for a very reasonable price. I wish I could have stayed longer! Special thanks to Tau (I hope I spelled your name correctly). This lovely lady was so nice, friendly, and helpful to me! The whole staff was amazing. Would love to visit again someday.

But yet, an excellent place for a retreat, even for a group retreat The room, the sinary, and the staff are very polite and helpful.

- Stuart (7/5): Tam Coc leisure stay. - We loved the rooms and quiet position and ambience. The mountain views were better than Tam Coc central. It is 5 km away from centre. The staff were lovely and helpful. You will need scooter or bikes to get to noisy centre and temples and caves. The prices are in dollars and high. The food was average. The bicycles are in poor condition for a nice resort.

Plus we got to fish and they cooked the fish we caught for free 🥰 The breakfast wasn’t the best, but I mean you still have quite a choice mostly from Vietnamese cakes 😅

- Dianne (7/5): Good - We had 3 nights here, enjoyed our stay and loved the huge pool! It's a little bit out of the way to get there, but very quiet and the staff were lovely. Just be mindful it's away from everything, so if you want peace and quiet you certainly get it here. Rooms are very basic but fine.

- Jo (10/5): A magical stay showing the true wonder of Vietnamese hospitality. - This was the most fabulous place to stay. Staff go over and above to help, offer ideas and make the stay wonderful. Cabins are just gorgeous and lady comes round offering a free foot spa at dusk. They then went over and above on service when we left our AirPods but had already left for Cat Ba… they wrapped them up, popped them on a bus, coordinated with our next hotel and they arrived safely only 6 hours after we did. Can’t ask for better care than that. 10 🌟 for sure Nothing everything was just brilliant.
- Aurore (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is really great, welcoming and always ready to answer our questions. The place is really calm, quite far at the center, it was what we were looking for. Bikes are available for free but I would recommend renting a motorbike for 8 dollars per day, especially if it's hot, as the distances are correct but "far" if you have to pedal under a hot weather. Otherwise our stay was perfect. Laundry is a bit pricy, 4 dollars for 1 kg. Just keep the prices in mind. We also might have seen rat poop twice in our room, but never actually saw 1...

The foundation has true potential to become even more better. Now some tjonge are half or not working and you can see the small works that need to be done. The restaurant is good with a small menu to choose from. Although a bit on the pricy side. The staff is really friendly and are willing to make your stay great. The swimmingpool is Nice but the surrounding tiles are a bit slippery when wet. So be aware. There is Laundryservice available but with the other experiences we had quilt expensive 28 dollars for 7 kg. There is a bike service available and you can pick your bike to go and explore, really good option.

Location is perfect, very quiet and in the middle of all the mountains and rice fields. Used the bicycles to go into town. The rooms are very basic, food choices a bit limited.
- Andreas (9/5): A pleasant stay close to nature - Free bikes, free buffalo riding, free foot bath and very nice staff. This stay is an experience. The owners also own the rice fields around and offer activities related to them. The rooms were large and clean, the pool was very pleasant and well taken care of. The rooms furniture were not totally new. For example, it was not possible in our room to close the bathroom door. Cracks in the door and at the windows did not keep mosquitos out. But the mosquito nets over the beds worked well.

The staff is very helpful and welcoming, they offered us to prepare a breakfast to take away the morning we left. We also could rent a motorbike and took bikes for free. - Stephanie (9/5): Beautiful commune resort in Ninh Binh - This resort was nestled in a beautiful area outside of the main hub of Tam Coc. The views were spectacular, and the pool was very pleasant on the very hot days. The staff was very friendly, and we love that they hire adults with special needs to work at the resort. It is definitely a little bit away from the main areas of town, and you'll need to take a car or bike to get to restaurants and shops. The food at dinner time wasn't the greatest. Our villa was very nice with a lovely, large bathroom. The huge huntsman spider in our room was scary! It's definitely more jungley, so understandable. We just named him, and left him be, but he gave us a fright! He was gone by morning.
- Michal (10/5): Love the atmosphere here. Lovely people. - Rural in the fields, beautiful location with a small farm. Do miss going to visit the farm and have a drink in the rice field. Sheets had stains on them. A bit far from town so needed to get cabs to eat out in the evening.
- Ellie (7/5): Good - The location was really lovely, quiet & overlooking the rice fields & the mountains! Simply beautiful & so nice taking a bike from the resort into town (quick 5-10 min ride) or just ride around the quiet streets & fields. Staff very welcoming & helpful. The pool area, with mountain in the background, was perfect to cool off after a long day exploring the area. The air con would go off & come back to a warm hut. The room facilities were not what we expected for a resort & for the price paid.
- Carlos (1/5): NICEST and COLLEST staff!! - The staff were undoubtedly the best out of my whole trip in Vietnam. I forgot their name, but the girl in reception and his friends were always smiling and trying to help us on everything. I read all the recent and old reviews, on google and booking as well, and was quite DISAPPOINTED for what I had experienced there. We stayed here in Apr, 2024, in the Bungalow with the Mountain View. This place is in a really RUN DOWN condition. It was left neglected and without any maintenance and upgrades whatsoever. PHOTOS were quite DECEIVING, as it resembled a bit, however 20 years ago. Bathroom: Sink were rusty, old and small water heating, a/c was not working properly, luckily it wasn’t so hot. Bedroom: Bed was in bad shape but doable, however linings were not. I had to call the reception in the middle of the night, after arriving from all my activities, as I found out hair and black spot which seems to be that someone stepped on it with shoes on, or something like that. Location: was far from centre, which is not a problem, as we were looking for a secluded place to enjoy the nature. Breakfast: 2 star hotel, not resort like. I hope the owner read this review and do upgrades, otherwise I don’t recommend anyone to book a room here.
- Aude (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location, a bit outside of the city, in the middle of green. Beautiful cafe spot a few meters away with delicious smoothies. It was easy to use bikes from the property or even rent motorbike (8 dollars per day) Staff was super nice and accomodating. Dinner on the premise is possible, a bit pricier than in the city. It's also nice to support an social initiative, employing people with special needs.

- Toumaj (10/5): Marvellous - Perfect Location if you don’t want to be in a busy center. We had the most romantic bamboo hut to stay in. We had the nicest staff ever! We highly recommend to stay there. You can rent bycycle for free it takes only 4km to the Center of Tam Coc all good

Not far from Ninh Binh town and free bicycles and cheap motorbines are available to transport you around the beautiful scenery. The staff is outstanding and doing their very best to keep you comfortable. Highly recommendable!

We love it there so much, we don’t wanna go back to home :( It’s very good personal and the “ half chef” Hung is the best man in this Resort. We came back !

Transfers available to get into the main hub of Ninh Binh. Nice restaurant where the whole family are the staff who cook and serve you meals.
- rhonam552 (6/5): Rough around the edges - The bones of this place are good and it probably was amazing a few years ago but it is a bit rough around the edges now. There are a few broken or falling apart bits, the swimming pool is lovely, the location is incredible. The evening food is extremely over priced and very poor quality, the most expensive food we saw our entire trip and the worst sadly. Breakfast was a bit chaotic the day they did a buffet and some staff actually stole our table when we got up to get food which was really awkward. For an amazing location, nice swimming pool and a large room which needs some love then this is the place but be prepared to cycle the 20 mins to town for some descent food.

- Victoria (6/5): Peaceful and quiet. - Wonderfully peaceful location, unique scenery. Pretty chalets over water. The pool would be a huge bonus in hot weather. The remoteness meant obtaining taxis was difficult unless you used the hotel’s new Toyota SUV which cost twice the price of a regular taxi but was still reasonable compared to UK prices! The bar is not stocked apart from beer. Did not eat there at night, the menu was not appealing. Breakfast very basic but eggs very tasty. Staff are sweet and kind and very obliging.

The pool was really nice and it was just so relaxing to lye down and relax with the nature just beside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It seemed like a big family. The breakfast was stunning. Fresh food, choice by menu card and big choice.

The location was relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tam Coc (don't think we would've gotten any rest there). Facilities: The resort seems to have not been maintained for a long time. Dirty old furniture, musty smell everywhere. Lot of insects, especially mosquitoes everywhere. The surrounding landscape is not taken care of, looks very desolate

- Alvaro (9/5): The best option for a quiet and authentic stay in Tam Coc - Tam Coc Rice Fileds its located in a quiet area outside of Tam Coc (10min by Scooter). Perfect for us, as this is what we wanted. Right in front of the rice fields. Take into account you need a scooter/car/bike to reach the accomodation. We were welcomed by their very friendly and helpful staff, which made our stay so special. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was also very tasty, with several options (mainly asian)

- Rachna (8/5): A lovely traditional place - Very helpful staff, especially the manager who helped us sort out some issues with our cabbie through language translation. Rooms were great size and the connection with nature in your bathroom is the thing to come back for. The food tasted great, however breakfast options could have been a bit more balanced with more continental offerings.
