Guest Reviews
- Patrick (9/5): -
- Gary (8/5): - Food in the Hotel was excellent especially Sunday Dinner. My wife dropped something which rolled under the bed out of reach. So I pulled the bed forward away from the wall.. There was an old used tissue,a tablet, a info card and the skirting board was thick dust. The shower cubicle door didn't close which let water out . There was already water damage to the door and architrave. So its been like it a while.
- Ian (8/5): - food breakfast and dinner good no lift

- David (7/5): Only there two days bed and breakfast , breakfasts were very good , very enjoyable, staff friendly . - Food was excellent We are both pensioners and our room was on the top floor up 3 flights of stairs, there is no lift but we were there for only two days so lived with it. Room had no storage for underwear, socks etc., wardrobe was noisy to open and close .
- Mark (8/5): - friendly reception staff frosted windows in the room I had
- Dawn (10/5): Wonderful - Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great hotel stay and will come again. Having to ask for milk- it would be good to have it in a cold flask so it lasts longer.
- Amanda (3/5): We did not end up staying as it was not up to standard - We arrived and the room was not up to standard, not as clean as expected and on a very busy road which was noisy with windows open. The receptionist was very warm, friendly and helpful and did everything she could to accommodate us moving to another hotel. She was definitely the best part of the hotel. Cleanliness was poor, noisy room, room felt tired. Feel that the accommodation was not described correctly.
- Abraham (9/5): Enjoyed every minute. A lovely venue to stay at. - The staff are friendly, enthusiastic & willing to help.
They were a pleasure to interact with during our stay. Although the prepared breakfasts were fine, attention could be focused to provide on a self service side table an array of cheeses, fruit and cereal. This would give visitors more choice & variety.
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Mark (7/5): Pleasant - The bed was very comfortable, with a good amount of amenities. Our room was directly above the sports bar, so we were sleep late at night, whenever the patrons below us decided to turn down the volume.
- Leo (10/5): One thing is absolutely certain I’ll be back!!! - On my previous visit, I happened to remark almost in passing upon the absence of USB plug sockets, and also suggested that a small mirror might be most useful, with one side offering gentle magnification and the other remaining true and normal. I was therefore quite delighted, upon my return, to find that these very details had been thoughtfully addressed and installed, precisely as mentioned. It is a rare pleasure to feel so genuinely heard.
What charmed me just as much, if not more, was the small sign placed outside to reserve a space especially for me. Such a gesture may seem modest, but it speaks volumes. It is considerate, personal, and deeply attractive in its attention to detail exactly the sort of quiet thoughtfulness that distinguishes the merely good from the truly exceptional.
One leaves with the distinct impression not simply of being accommodated, but of being valued. There is, quite frankly, nothing about this property that I find myself disliking. If I were pressed to offer the faintest suggestion for the future, it would be the possible addition of a steam room within the spa, and perhaps the inclusion of dressing tables in every room pieces that double rather splendidly as desks, and which a few rooms were without. Beyond such trifles, I can find little cause for complaint. It has been a thoroughly excellent day, and truth be told, that very absence of grievances is precisely why I continue to return.
- mn269 (10/5): Amazing hotel - The Gannet hotel is incredible. Nicely decorated, amazing friendly staff and fantastic food. We stayed for three nights and had use of the Spa facilities at the Carbys Bay Hotel and couldn't fault any of it. Would highly recommend and definitely looking forward to returning.
- LovingCornwallx (8/5): Birthday Lunch - Birthday Lunch for Hubby. Hubby had the Duck and I had the Smashed Burger. Both were excellent, Hubby had chocolate lava cake for dessert , I had the black cherry trifle. Hubby sad lava cake was good but small, unfortunately the black cherry trifle wasn’t really a trifle , it was jelly with sponge fingers, covered with a thick chocolate mousse / ganache and then some cream on top. Will return but maybe miss our dessert .
Staff were lovely .
- Sue (10/5): Just fab, will go back again. Oh and the food is lovely. - LOVED THE FACT THAT AS THE GANNET IS JOINED WITH THE CARBIS BAY, WE WERE ABLE TO USE THE SPA FACILITIES FOR NO ADDED COST.
- Hoogovens (2/5): On a very busy road , nowhere near the village , a drab grey exterior - A boarding house - We arrived with high expectations on the basis that The Gannet was part of the Carbis Bay Resort which housed the G& leaders about 4 years ago. The web site states it is "nestled" in the heart of the village.
Nothing could be further from reality, Arriving at a gloomy drab grey building besides a very busy main road, the exterior conjures up the image of an old fashioned boarding house. As for "nestled " in the heart of the village, it's not. It is 3/4 of a mile down a very steep hill (that's after you negotiate the busy road (no way you would let your kids try crossing on their own) and its a real trudge back up, so if you forgot your ear pods, forget going back to retrieve them ! The web site states a "short valley walk from the award-winning Blue Flag Carbis Bay Beach" . There is nothing short about it and its through a load of uninspiring suburban houses.
- Jtatctkt (10/5): Superb food and great stay. - Had dinner at The Gannet. Been here a few times and stayed but we were just eating this time with friends. The staff are so efficient and so friendly, greet you like family. Jay on reception always so helpful. Waiting staff always happy and do their jobs so well. The food is a fantastic treat. Extensive choice and tastes superb. Fabulous time.
- bex62017 (10/5): Fantastic stay!! - We stayed for 2 nights on an offer to stay and dine. Totally exceeded all our expectations. Rooms were spacious good bathroom. Great restaurant area and bar seating with wood burner. Every staff member was polite friendly and professional
- MTT803TU (10/5): Lovely staff and venue. - We have just had a lovely family half term stay at The Gannet - has become a firm favourite with the added bonus of using the Spa at Carbis Bay. We were very lucky with gorgeous, sunny Autumn weather and made the most of it down at the beach - the setting is beautiful. Always a warm welcome at The Gannet. The location is great for access to St Ives (we like to take the train from the station just a short walk away down a fairly steep hill), the decor is cozy, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Thanks for having us 🙂

- Van6859 (4/5): Restaurant experience. - My husband and myself went for sunday lunch today and were very disappointed. I'm so sad to say this as I really wanted to love it ,as we are local I would of become our go to place.
We were kept a while for our table which would of been OK if that was all, but our plates and food bar the cauliflower cheese was stone cold. Not once did anyone come and ask if everything was OK so couldn't ask for it to be warmed up. There was approx 20 tables and 4 waitresses not over busy. On paying without offered a pudding I mentioned the cold food was as if fridge cold, to be told quite abruptly "well I can assure you it wasnt", I tried to say i didn't say it was from the fridge to have her turn her back on me. Shame the food was lovely if only hot.
Honestly disappointed and made to feel immediately ignored , if it wasn't for this I would of been a regular. ☹️
- White (9/5): - Exceptional food and excellent attention from the helpful staff.
- P8635GXandrewc (10/5): Excellent stay, would come again. - My wife and I celebrated our 55th (Emerald) wedding anniversary at the Gannet in September. The staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming to us, the rooms were perfect and lovely, and the facilities were excellent. We had use of the pool area and spa at the sister Carbis Bay Hotel, plus afternoon tea there, which was suitably luxurious.
All of the staff at the Gannet were friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay, and we fully recommend the hotel.
- Alan_Ogden (8/5): Great hotel, choose meals carefully. - Property, location, parking, staff Restaurant - quality variable. Breakfasts great. Sunday evening meal excellent. Monday evening meal - one meal OK, one meal sent back twice and then replaced with an alternative.
- Monika (8/5): - Schöne Zimmer, freundliches Personal, tolles Restaurant.
- Lijing (10/5): -
- annabubsy (8/5): An Anniversary break - We had a nice stay at the Gannet inn. The staff were exceptional, every single member of staff we came across was so friendly and helpful, it really made our stay. There is a few negatives, I booked a sea view room (which wasn't cheap) and the room was very small for the amount that I paid and did look like it needed a little TLC, it is an old building so i know there is only so much you can do but when you pay more you expect more. We had dinner at the hotel and I had the chicken kiev which was really yummy and my husband had fish and chips which was ok. The breakfast again was ok but nothing to write home about, the fry up was quite a small portion and the french toast wasn't sweet enough, the fruit on top were so sour. It was lovely to be able to use the spa at the Carbis bay hotel that really made the stay.
- Antoinette (9/5): Een gezellige goed verzorgde hotel. - Het was comfortabel, gezellig en beneden kon je lekker eten. Het land ligt aan een wat drukke weg.
- Liam (9/5): - The room had a lovely view and was very clean and tidy. Walls/ doors have insufficient sound proofing as we could very clearly hear someone else on the floor snoring quite loudly.
- TreeR27 (10/5): Great restaurant - We have eaten here several times when visiting the area and it’s never disappointed. The service the food and the atmosphere is everything you would want from a restaurant.
- Sandra (9/5): - Enjoyed our stay staff were very knowledgeable and very nice nothing was too much trouble. No lifts and no fridge in bedroom had to ask for milk each day but that was no bother really.
- Maire (5/5): Staff lovely, more a guest house than a hotel. Food and drink expensive - Staff very friendly and good location, short walk ( but challenging if mobility an issue) to beach. We were very lucky and saw dolphins swimming close to shore. Rooms in two separate buildings. Room was nice but as described “cosy” and no view, near the toilets so noisy, could hear fan/dryer. Hot water tap didn’t work on sink in bathroom ( meagre dribble) which otherwise was nice with nice towels and toiletries. Given the price thought quite expensive for the standard of accommodation.
Food and drinks more expensive than we expected. Food, dinner and breakfast was of average quality in our opinion.
- Emma (9/5): A truly wonderful, cosy stay by the beach with delicious food and the warmest of staff. - The food at the Gannet was excellent. The breakfast included is fantastic with so many options and something delicious to try everyday - great value for money. The inn itself is really pretty inside and furnished wonderfully. Super comfy beds and pillows, and lovely little biscuits in the room alongside a variety of tea’s. The staff were so warm and helpful. Sitting in the bar area at night was really cosy, with delicious cocktails and a range of board games. And having daily free access to the CBay spa is a MASSIVE addition. Absolutely don’t miss out on that! We already intend to stay here again, and again… It was the perfect cosy stay by the beach with a partner. Our room was a little on the small side, particularly the floor space around the bed and bathroom. The bathroom/shower doors hit each other and the sink if not opened/manoeuvred very carefully and there’s only room for 1 person to be moving around the space at a time. The room was quite hot, but they did provide a fan (a little on the loud side but we had ear plugs!). However, for a couple like us, this was still absolutely fine and didn’t detract from the stay - we would potentially just upgrade in future!
- Natalie (8/5): Cosy stay in a good location. - The food was excellent, beds very comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive. We also liked being outside of St Ives but with several quick and easy options to get there. No negatives that I can think of.
- Izabela (9/5): -
- Karin (10/5): Gerne wieder!! - Freundlicher Empfang mit Rundgang. Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Aufmerksame Bedienung. Essen was sehr gut. Hotelzimmer mit WOW-Effekt, sogar von der Toilette aus ist Meerblick garantiert.
- Yathu (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Really great location. Good breakfast
- David (8/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Lovely hotel, great staff, well located and book your spa visit - Amazing sized room with sea view called the gannet. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was high quality and delicious with great coffee and the bar area looked lovely. The complementary access to carbis bay spa was great we only booked after we arrived and went the morning we checked out. Nothing parking limited but we got a spot!
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Tracey (9/5): Very pleasant and comfortable stay - The food, decor, comfort and staff Not being in the main building
- Saurabh (10/5): Amazing - The property was nice .. cozy. Food was brilliant None
- Ed (8/5): Excellent in all cases. -
- banshchikov (9/5): -
- Hilde (9/5): Innbydende lite hotell med flott lun atmosfære. - Innbydende, rent rom med bad, helhetsinntrykket var veldig bra. Kun og fin atmosfære.
- Andrew (10/5): Wonderfully looked after by attentive staff who catered for our specific needs - The whole property was lovely. The room we were in was spacious and clean with wonderful sea views. Nothing
- Venture28986611569 (6/5): Just ok - We love the gannet for there Sunday roast best in the west but today they served us wafer thin meat obviously cutting down but for £20.50 we want to see some meat , I had to ask for some more beef , we eat there on a regular basis come on gannet don’t turn into one we don’t want to return to .
- Amitrus (8/5): Great in all aspects bar one.. no pun intended - This is a really nice hotel , almost boutique and wow the food was great value for money and tasted so good. The rooms are really comfortable.
I have to say however, my only disappointment was, despite there being two bars; they shut them both early.
Now even if you shut to the public, please at least allow guests to drink to until midnight esp. in this day and age of contactless or at least advise the early closing of the bar.
- Wander719666 (10/5): Would recommend - Had a very pleasant 4 night stay at this well-appointed and comfy hotel. The staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating.Good choice on the breakfast menu.
Parking could be a problem. If white lines were to be drawn, more spaces would be available, and perhaps some spaces could be reserved for residents.
- VALENTINO (6/5): - Gentilezza del cameriere che ci serviva a colazione Camera e bagno molto piccola Piu che una matrimoniale era una singola
- Je4n1e (10/5): Delicious, want to go back! - Lovely venue, fabulous food, great service. Spoilt for choice on the menu. Great kids menu. We sat in view of the kitchen and they all seemed very well organised! Gutted we don’t live nearer to pop back and try something else on the menu. The food was excellent and delicious, thank you to the chefs!
- Irene (8/5): -
- Colin (9/5): Excellent and would definitely return to this place - Standard cooked breakfast always available from an a la cart menu, with two breakfast courses available every day. Food quality was excellent, had dinner and breakfast, no faulting either. The staff were very professional and helpful. Car parking was available, though at times not adjacent to the hotel. Didn't find a lift to the upper floors, so not sure about disabled visitors.
- Biggs (9/5): -
- Gala (3/5): Massively overpriced and not worth it - The bed was very comfortable. There was no lift and no one offered to help us with our heavy luggage, the room was unbearably hot, the window was on top of a sports bar and facing a main road so there was a lot of traffic and noise, there was no shelf in the shower for the gel and the shampoo, the wardrobe only had hangers and no shelves nor drawers which made storage difficult, there was only one hand / body gel to share between the shower and the sink, half of the complimentary water bottles were faulty and couldn’t be opened, the breakfast options were extremely limited (basically just English breakfast and then different variations of this but with the same ingredients - bacon, egg, sausages, bread), the bathroom floor was not cleaned every day, and I paid £275 per night for this.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): Lovely - The lady behind the bar was fabulous very hard working
- Craig (8/5): Lovely place but room to hot - Deco Room was unacceptably hot. A better fan was needed. Wanted to leave it was so hot.
- Lindsay (8/5): It was an over night stop. The room was sufficient and breakfast very good. Staff very helpful. - Decor No lift.
Temp was 27 degrees we were given one small noisy fan. Couldn’t open wardrobe as doors stuck and so there was nowhere to hang clothes or hide bags. The hair dryer was also in there!
- Z7765ROandrewe (10/5): A Perfect Three-Night Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - My daughter and I had the most delightful three-night stay at this lovely, comfortable hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed.
The staff were absolutely wonderful — always smiling, friendly, respectful, and more than happy to help with anything we needed. Their warmth really made our stay special.
The food was a standout! The roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding were our personal favorites — truly delicious and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was excellent, and we highly recommend the Cornish cream tea — a real treat!
The hotel itself was spotless and very accommodating, with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere throughout.
We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend!
- OnAir46700338991 (10/5): An Exceptional Sunday Roast - By far the best quality Sunday Roast ever experienced anywhere. The quality of the meats and vegetables are A1 and everything cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Service 10/10 and great value for money.
A visit will not disappoint.
- Ana (9/5): Superb -
- Bian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shreya (9/5): Superb - The room was very comfortable and great views, the breakfast was delicious and the overall experience was great.
- rosiesmith15 (10/5): Lovely, we couldn’t fault it - Lovely stay here super easy to access the staff were extremely friendly and we were able to check in early. The explained everything to us and gave great recommendations.
The room was great value for money and even included our dinner which was delicious.
We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff who really made the stay
- Aparna (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything
- sharenclay2n (8/5): Lovely break - Lovely hotel
Good location and facilities.
Food was excellent.
Staff very good on the whole but some were very scripted in their approach and not very personable x
- garethh483 (10/5): Top quality gourmet food and friendly helpful staff - Went for dinner here last night and wow were we impressed. We had the bread, oil and olives to share to start - amazing, then I had the Fillet of White Fish with Risotto Cake and Mrs H had the Chicken Kiev. All the food was top notch, staff were friendly and helpful, wine was lovely - could not fault it, about as close to perfect as it gets.
- kittycat1960 (10/5): Felt very welcome and throughly enjoyed our stay - My sister and I have Just returned from a lovely few days at the Gannet Inn the staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful especially Helen who works in the dining room
We were upgraded to a very clean and comfortable room
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable
We would highly recommend anyone to experience this lovely hotel
- R8100JHpaulinel (10/5): A wonderful and memorable stay! - We stayed at The Gannet Inn over the bank holiday weekend and had a fantastic experience. The room was lovely—comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and management were incredibly accommodating when we needed to change our plans.
One of the highlights was having access to the spa facilities at their sister hotel, The Carbis Bay Hotel, which was absolutely amazing. It added a real touch of luxury to our stay.
We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Gannet Inn, for a wonderful and memorable stay!
- Davy-lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uthayakumar (10/5): Overall, I couldn’t fault a thing and would happily return! - The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. None
- Julie (1/5): Bad - we where served raw chicken
- K550JGmarks (10/5): The Gannet Hotel - Very comfortable, staff are friendly.
Food good. Our room was on the third floor and there is no lift. Parking sometimes difficult but there is an overflow carpark virtually opposite.
9 out of ten. We would stay again.
The staff make the place a good experience.
- sheilat647 (6/5): Not Happy - Unfortunately we were dissappointed with our room, named Fern which was not in the main hotel but in another block down from the main hotel.
It was described as a cosy room, which we thought would be small by its name, its ridiculously small for the amount they charge per night which is £220 per night, our room backed on to a court yard where they put used barrels.(we stayed 3 nights and paid for 2 a deal they do, but when I booked over the phone no mention till I asked) Still expensive!!! for this room.
The only way to see outside is to open the window as there is plastic obscured to stop you looking out.
The bed was not at all comfortable, there’s no fridge in the room, no mirror only a small tabletop makeup mirror. No where to put anything on a top, only table had tea/coffee kettle on it, the other a information pad, lamp.
The bathroom had no where to put toiletries, in the shower or anywhere else, our toiletry bags had to stay on the floor.
There was mould on the shower, the grout was dirty, and the skirting board in need of paint.
We only found one restaurant staff who spoke to us each morning, when we passed the reception girl the day we left, we said good morning, she looked round as she was talking to a colleague, but didn’t answer us. Breakfast is not over special, everything is on a menu for you to choose, except fruit juice and toast.
When we left she said have you enjoyed your stay, my husband said no, she said I will let management know.
I’ve not heard nothing to date and not expecting to.
It was St Ives food festival while we were there so the hotel was busy, but parking was a nightmare, they have a overflow parking on the other side of the road, but this to was full in the evenings.
The hotel is very clean in the main building, and our room was clean apart from the above issues, which need maintenance work done. (Photos below)
We have stayed in St Ives with a sea view, beautiful comfy bed, amazing breakfast, unfortunately they were booked up, so thought we would try the gannet.
I will wait and see if management do get back to me, with sort of compensation?
- 929neall (10/5): Happy Gannets! - What a team, these guys are at the top of their game. The friendliest and nicest staff who can't do enough and really make you feel home from home. Some went above and beyond, but it would be unfair to mention names as everyone was lovely.
Food exceptional, never had Sunday roast beef dinner like it!
Was great to have use of Carbis Bay Estate spa and we went for drink also but weren't long going back to Gannet Inn as better atmosphere there.
We will definitely be back.
- Torbayaotearoa (10/5): "Amazing and not a problem." - More hotel than Inn this is a quality establishment with a super friendly crew. An excellent and good value half board deal through Secret Escapes. We were privileged to have the Gannet room with expansive sea views, secured with the help of Jay and Charmaine. Spacious and clean with a decent en suite. A pair of arm chairs to enjoy the view. The bed facing the right way for said view. How often doesn't that happen? Good quality linens, towels and fittings. Proper wooden coat hangers and decent loo roll. It's the little things that count. Excellent breakfast and dinner, quality ingredients and good portions. The crew were so pleasant and engaging. It was my wife's birthday and the team took the time and trouble to place a candle on the pudding. Very kind. Spacious and comfortable communal areas. Free on site parking. Gardens. An easy walk into town along the main road or pretty coastal path. The hotel is also on a bus route.
A warm and alarming welcome of "amazing" and "no trouble at all." It certainly was. Thank you guys.
- chloe912102 (10/5): Lovely place - five stars! - The best little stay - comfortable spacious room, massive comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, complimentary products and even offered a fresh milk delivery for your in room tea and coffee. Freshly baked shortbread waiting for you in your room, and a lovely restaurant downstairs. Good breakfast, stunning location. Staff were so so friendly. Thanks so much!
- barbarafW7241VF (10/5): A truly lovely place to stay in all respects. - My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay at The Gannet.
This has got to be one of the nicest places we have stayed in over many years.
The staff were welcoming, the food was superb and the room was beautiful. The pillows were gorgeous. I'm fussy about my pillow!
There was a cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and I loved the fact that you could watch the chefs cooking.
The location of this lovely establishment made getting about very easy.
The only reason we didn't use the spa facilities was that the weather was too good to miss.
Thank you all so much. AND not forgetting the kindness shown in getting my jacket back to me.
- 981normah (10/5): Amazing Staff amazing hotel - Amazing hotel with service second to none. The room was really comfortable and had coffee and tea making facilities. As there was no fridge a simple call to reception and fresh milk was delivered immediately. We booked a special deal which included 2 course dinner which was fantastic and also breakfast- again really good. The staff were so helpful and accommodating they obviously enjoyed their job . Also included in the deal was a pass to the spa in the nearby Carbis Bay Hotel which we visited after our breakfast. Wow !! Thank you for an incredible stay and can’t wait to return.
- U520CWrichardt (10/5): Brilliant Christmas Stay - Have been meaning to leave a review since we stayed at Christmas. Loved the room which had a great sea view and was relaxing. Their restaurant is superb with a great choice and their staff are friendly and so accommodating. This is part of the estate that includes Carbis Bay Hotel so you have all those amenities to hand also. That hotel is separate though and down by the beach. Will definitely be staying again.
- Colin (8/5): Very good -

- Peter (10/5): The staff are amazing and went over and above to make our stay very special - Beautiful decor ,modern and Spotlessly clean We liked it all
- Mulford (8/5): Lovely location, room and staff . - Lovely staff Breakfast wasn’t great. We both had pancakes and barely any berries and by the time we got them maple syrup had sunk into pancakes, none on plate and they were dry in places.
- Katherine (9/5): Superb - Staff were so helpful. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable Slight noise of industrial fans outside of room disturbed sleep a little.
- Debbie (8/5): Gannet Inn - Staff very friendly
Had a cream tea and was really good
Room was lovely and clean comfortable bed Breakfast was very poor mix up with order then had to wait for items and bought to us and was cold.
Scrambled eggs not good.
- kerryroberts (4/5): Birthday Night Away. - Stayed here in November for a birthday night away. A few issues regarding the meal, the wine and the room.
Have raised this issues, unfortunately there level of compensation hasn’t meet my expectations.
I have asked for a refund for the meal, but they have refused blankly this won’t be happening, but they are wiling to pay for a meal for two/wine - which to me does not make sense!
There is also the added cost in booking another room and the travel cost due to living an hour or so away.
When this was highlighted, the response was our other customers travel for a meal for a day - so why don’t you - but you offered a bottle of wine - how can you drink and drive!!
I am not other customers!!
Will not be returning in the future!!
- Tea (10/5): Exceptional -
- billy-fishpie (10/5): Super service - Had drinks in the bar area by the fire. Super cosy and warm, lovely atmosphere, comfy chairs fireside. We were served by the lovely Freya….attentive, professional service with the biggest smile! Such a pleasure to meet her, will definitely be back 😊
- Posaunen (10/5): Superb ! - We've dined at the Gannet restaurant everything we are in Carbis Bay and has always been first class +. The food is sublime, and the service is excellent. There is a great ambience, and the whole restaurant is decorated to the highest standard.
There is nothing to compare in the area.
- Small (9/5): Superb -
- N7557QLchloew (10/5): Would stay here again without no hesitation! - Stayed at the Gannet on a Friday night paid £185 for 2 people including £50 dinner credit, spa access at the Carbis Bay estate and breakfast. Dinner was amazing; the food was delicious and the service was top quality. We had a large party of 13 people who were all catered to well, including one party who was gluten and dairy intolerant. Steak, burgers, pasta, muscles, sundaes, sticky toffee all cooked to perfection!
The spa access was great and flexible around dinner and breakfast, lovely outdoor facilities of a hydro pool, sauna and hot tub, however pricey drinks.
The accommodation at the Gannet inn was clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. Breakfast again was delicious, amazing service, quality food and no complaints!
Would stay here again with no hesitation.
