• Bernhard (3/5): Es gibt nicht viele Altern - Nichts Ich hatte anscheinend bei der Booking Suche 4 Personen angegeben, dann das Hotel du Cret und 3 Doppelzimmer ausgewählt für 6 Personen. Bei Ankunft unserer Ski Gruppe bekam ich den Hinweis, dass ich nur 4 Personen für die 3 Zimmer angegeben hatte und dadurch jetzt der Preis um ca. 50€ teuerer sei. Ganz verstanden hatte ich diese Argumentation nicht, eine Diskussion war schwierig bis unfreundlich bei Kommunikationsproblemen (kein Englisch-kein Französisch). Der Preis musste noch vor Zimmerbezug bezahlt werden. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich nur für eine Nacht zu empfehlen für anspruchslose Reisende. Das mäßige Frühstück mit 17 Franken völlig überteuert.

Las camas tenían una sábana tan vieja y barata que se veían a través suyo los dibujos del colchón, en la terraza de la habitación había varios ceniceros llenos de colillas, el hotel en general estaba todo muy muy viejo.

• Reg (10/5): Ideal place to stay to begin your next-day walk to the GSB. - Perfect location at the top of town. Very friendly, helpful staff, the owner is a lot more fun than you might initially think! Fab, alpine decor with lots to look at. Very satisfying breakfast. Nothing.

• carole (9/5): Joli accueil et bonne nuit. - Hotel très simple, mais avec tout le nécessaire pour y passer une nuit. Nos voisins étaient nos amis, donc les bruits de part et d’autres n’a pas dérangé vu que nous avions les mêmes horaires. La salle restaurant est “dans son jus”.

• Orchard (9/5): Comfortable, with great food in the adjoining restaurant - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed 2 nights, book-ending our 7-day hike of the Tour des Combins. They graciously let us store our non-hiking bags there for the week.

They have lights on timers in the washroom so in the middle of using shower or toilet the lights go off. The sink has no soap. The door to dormitory squeaks so loudly anyone opening it wakes up everyone

• Christophe (6/5): Patrons accueillant et petit déjeuner fantastique - Trouver un hôtel en 2025 en montant le grand saint Bernard est déjà quelque chose de magnifique en soi. Les patrons sont très accueillant et le petit déjeuner était fantastique, du sur mesure avec 4 sortes de pain dont du bon pain de seigle. Les chambres sont t dans leur jus d’il y a trente ans mais pour une nuit c’était parfait

• Patrick (6/5): Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber solide... - Die Lage ist super und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte Wanderungen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas spärlich für den Preis
• Islenskahestsins (10/5): Dieser Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen vollends übertroffen - Das Hotel liegt sehr sehr günstig direkt an der Passstraße und gegenüber ist der kleine Ort Bourg St. Pierre..... diese liegt sehr malerisch umgeben von Wiesen und Bergen und einem echt bezaubernden Ambiente der alte Teil dieses Ortes ist wirklich sehenswert mit historischen denkmalgeschützten Häusern und einer sehr alten Kirche. Wir haben von dort aus eine herrliche Wanderung unternommen, hoch in den Alpengarten, der sich wirklich lohnt anzuschauen, am Fluss entlang in Richtung Stausee-die Mauer konnten wir schon sehen leider mussten wir dann umkehren weil wir verkehrsbedingt wegen der vielen Baustellen doch etwas spät ankamen. Man kann aber rundlaufen also man muss nicht den gleichen Weg zurückgehen. Wär gerne in der Natur unterwegs ist kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten-auch das Hotel kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr sauber und auch wenn sie in die Jahre gekommen sind ist das kein Problem für uns gewesen es ist alles da was man braucht-einschließlich eines Balkons, womit wir gar nicht gerechnet hätten und was uns sehr erfreut hat. Die unmittelbare direkte Nähe zur Passstraße ist auch kein Problem, da nachts so gut wie kein Verkehr herrscht und es ruhig ist wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das absolute ober Highlight war für uns das Restaurant- so vorzüglich haben wir selten gegessen-die Portionen sind wirklich groß wir hätten die Vorspeise gar nicht gebraucht, das Ambiente ist wirklich freundlich und hell und auch außergewöhnlich angelegt- hoffe ich kann das Foto vom Besteckhalter hochladen-mein Mann hat den Burger gegessen mit Pommes und ich das Tomatenkäsefondue, es war wirklich hervorragend alles frisch und selbst zubereitet nichts von der Stange oder Fertiggericht-als Vorspeise wählte mein Mann die Tomatensuppe und ich den Walliser Teller , also eine original einheimische Spezialität ich kann alles uneingeschränkt empfehlen und auch was ich an den Nachbar Tischen gesehen habe. Die Weinauswahl ist hervorragend und breit aufgestellt.

• teodoro (10/5): Piacevole toccata e fuga - Posizione privilegiata appena entrati in Svizzera dopo il Colle del Gran San Bernardo. Personale gentile e disponibile, cucina locale ottima, colazione eccellente con prodotti locali. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buona considerando che per noi italiani risulta più esosa come spesa, ma di sicuro accettabile per i servizi che offrono Nulla in particolare

Nous sommes arrivés en moto avec nos deux enfants , les patrons nous ont prêté leur garage sans même que l'on demande. Les chambres sont ultra propres . Rien à redire , nous y retournerons sans chercher ailleurs lors de notre prochain séjour. Tout était carrément parfait.❤️❤️

Per il resto un buon posto dove soggiornare sopratutto per chi fa la via Francigena o per chi pensa di passare qualche giorno intorno al San Bernardo! Comodo, essenziale, buono... Il pagamento con carta è riservato alle cifre superiori a 15 franchi... francamente un po' assurdo... vabè.

• DAVID (9/5): - La situation géographique est idéale pour les amateurs de randonnées. Établissement qui peut sembler un peu rétro , mais on apprécie le côté chaleureux du bois . Chambre assez simple et rustique mais propre . Personnel très accueillant et serviable . Très bonne croute au fromage , petit déjeuner assez varié . Bref un très bon moment même si ce n' était que le temps d 'une nuit pour participer au Trail du Vélan.

Staff not particularly friendly. Nobody in the hotel but unable to stay an extra hour. Just not very accommodating. Food and drinks very over priced.

• Nicole (5/5): No me volvería a quedar - La ubicación está muy bien, frente a la parada de autobús. Hay que dar una pequeña vuelta para cruzar, pero no es nada realmente eso ayuda mucho a llegar rápido. En la habitación compartida las camas están demasiado pegadas, no hay espacio suficiente o seguro para dejar equipaje, hay solo UN enfuche para una pieza de 8 camas y NO llega el WIFI, tienes que pararte en la entrada del restaurante para conectarte, pero la dueña pide que vayas a comer dentro o que te salgas, INACEPTABLE si estás pagando el servicio de alojamiento. Pésima experiencia, nunca me había pasado algo así.

• Julien (9/5): Nuit étape et petit déjeuner au top! - Petit déjeuner au top, le couple qui tient l'établissement est adorable et aux petits oignons pour le client. Nous nous sommes arrêtés en hiver pour passer la nuit et prendre des forces avant d'aller randonner quelques jours a ski avec étape journalière aux hospices... Une expérience inouïe qui n'aurait pas été possible sans l'hôtel du Cret! Merci et nous espérons vous revoir bientôt ! La déco? Si vous n'aimez que les hôtels modernes et raffinés passez votre chemin...! Ici c'est la simplicité, l'authenticité, l'accueil formidable et le rapport qualité prix que vous venez chercher! Ici le temps s'est arrêté a la porte des montagnes et c'est ce qui fait son charme!
