Guest Reviews
- Judith (10/5): - My biggest hesitation in giving this place a high rating is that I'll have trouble getting a room there next time because it will become popular. For the price of a hotel room, I got a one bedroom apartment. It was clean and spacious and I wish my work schedule had let me spend more time on the rooftop patio. It would be a great place to stay if you were going to museums. There's no housekeeping service, but I didn't need it. The location is good but not ideal for me, but it's a fine area and could suit you well.
- Bryan (6/5): Full bed instead of Queen! - The location couldn't be much better as it's just a short walk to the National Mall, Smithsonian, National Archives etc. My only complaint is that we booked a room with a queen bed and they gave us a FULL bed. Why would there even BE a full bed in a hotel?? It significantly affected my sleep as I'm used to sleeping in a King size bed. Anyway, the first night we didn't realize it until we laid down and were too tired to do anything about it and the second night we forgot until we were again too tired... I'm curious if they could have done anything for us like moved rooms but just make sure the bed is the right size before you get settled in your room. Also, this is not a regular hotel, its more like an apartment building that rents rooms out so there is no room service or housekeeping but there is a full kitchen and laundry which is better for long term stays.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Newseum to the city! - PROS: Nice apartment in perfect downtown DC location, very close to a metro station. We rented a studio apartment- it was fully stock with kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, etc. Large walk in closet and everything else you would find in someone's apartment. It was nice and clean for the most part. There is no room service daily as you would expect from a hotel (that was ok though, extra towels and sheets provided).
CON: Apartment personnel and Concierge was not as helpful as anticipated.
