- Alex (1/5): Katastrophal- unbedingt vermeiden! - Es gibt nichts Gutes über diese Unterkunft zu schreiben, ausser dass die Lage schön ist. Diese Anlage entspricht überhaupt nicht der Ausschreibung und den Fotos. Der Zustand der Hütten war dermassen katastrophal, dass wir gleich wieder ausgeheckt sind. Ausserdem hatten wir auch absolut keine Meersicht sondern im Blickfeld lagen hässliche Plastiktanks. Die Klimaanlage nützt gar nichts, da überall Ritzen und Spalten in den Wänden und bei der Türe sind. Es ragen Nägel aus dem Boden, an denen man sich verletzen kann. Das Management (kein Thai, sondern ein unehrlicher, arabisch sprechender Mann) weigerte sich, uns zu bestätigen, dass wir die Zimmer nicht bezogen haben und es gab ein Hin- und Her von fast zwei Monaten, bis wir unser Geld von booking zurückbekamen. Wir verstehen nicht, dass diese Unterkunft immer noch auf booking zu buchen ist, denn es gibt so viele Beschwerden. Alles miserabel bis auf die Lage am Strand.

- Anna (6/5): - Určite je to najkrajšia lokalita na ostrove Koh Lanta. Krásna a veľká piesočnatá pláž, na ktorej nehrozia davy turistov. More je krásne sfarbené a s jemným pieskom je výborným miestom na celodenný relax a sledovanie západu slnka. Bambusové chatky už dávno volajú po rekonštrukcii. Ale ak človek neočakáva hotelový luxus, nájde tu čaro exotiky a romantiku.

Als Begründung wurde genannt, dass wir eine Kreditkartenzahlung gewählt hätten. Diese Zahlungsart war jedoch bereits standardmäßig bei Booking hinterlegt, sodass die nachträgliche Zusatzbelastung für uns nicht nachvollziehbar ist. Der Manager bot zwar an, die Zahlung zu stornieren und stattdessen bar zu begleichen, was jedoch wiederum mit zusätzlichen Kosten verbunden gewesen wäre. In einem persönlichen Gespräch wurde uns zugesichert, dass die Überzahlung korrigiert wird – leider ist auch nach drei Wochen keinerlei Rückerstattung erfolgt. Darüber hinaus entsprach die Unterkunft nicht den Erwartungen: Gebucht war Meerblick, tatsächlich fiel der Blick jedoch auf moderne, silberne Zeltbauten. Das Meer war lediglich eingeschränkt und nur zwischen diesen hindurch zu erkennen. Die Bungalows liegen zudem sehr dicht beieinander, was die Privatsphäre deutlich einschränkt. Die Terrassen sind überwiegend ins Landesinnere ausgerichtet. Besonders kritisch sehen wir den ökologischen Anspruch der Anlage. Trotz des „Eco“-Versprechens sind die Gebäude weder gedämmt noch ausreichend dicht, während gleichzeitig Klimaanlagen betrieben werden – aus unserer Sicht ein klarer Widerspruch und ökologisch nicht vertretbar. Auch der Pool befand sich in einem unzureichenden Zustand: nur teilweise eingelassen und sichtbar mit Algen und Grünbelag versehen, was den Gesamteindruck zusätzlich negativ geprägt hat. In Summe entspricht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus unserer Sicht nicht den Erwartungen, insbesondere aufgrund der intransparenten Zusatzkosten und der nicht eingehaltenen Zusagen.

Le matelas au sol, pas génial pour moi qui manque de souplesse pour me relever Mais un matelas confortable..

Worn out, overpriced and filthy - Beachfront location would have been great if the room and facilities and staff weren't TERRIBLE 😔 This place claims to be a 'luxury' resort on their website. It couldn't be further from luxury. We turned up excited - expecting this place to be the highlight of our stay, but it turned out to be the worst part of our holiday and I'm still fighting for my money back. Firstly, they tried to charge us 600THB for a taxi from the port, which should have cost 300THB. On arrival we were pressured to pay quickly, before viewing the room or facilities. It was dinner time and we were tired and hungry, so we paid. However when we viewed the room it was so dirty, the 'windows' were just open sections in the walls which meant the room was full of bugs and mosquitos AND the AC wasn't able to cool the room so it was also unbearably hot. The kids room also didn't have AC, only a fan. The bedding had holes in it and the mosquito net was completely covered with holes, so wouldn't have kept anything out! We were really disappointed but thought we'd check out the pool to see if that made up for it. The pool though - I've never seen anything like it! It was thick, green and stagnant and clearly hadn't been used for a long time. I think anyone who swam in it would be seriously ill. At the time we booked, their listing included a pool and still as I write this review they are including the pool in the photos. The manager said it was in use. It was apparently supposed to be like that as it was a chlorine free 'plant filtered pool', but then contradicted this when booking.com intervened, claiming 'the pool was removed from the listing some time ago and is not in use'. - Sonja Senisi (9/5): - Die Lage war Top. Am Strand gibt es viele Lokale, aber auch das eigene ist sehr schön. Es wird immer schöne Hintergrundmusik gespielt. Ab und zu sogar live. Wenige Liegen, aber die sind top gepolstert. Sprachlich schwierig, aber wie fast überall in Thailand konnte man sich mit einer sehr liebe ln jungen Mitarbeiter verständigen. Sie hat unseren Roller gemanagt. War alles sehr gut organisiert. Die Hütten sind zweckmäßig. Ein Ventilator würde es ermöglichen die schöne Veranda mehr zu nutzen. Aber alles in allem sehr schön. Die extremen Stufen im Bungalow sind sehr gefährlich, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Leider hat es morgens sehr nach Abfluss gerochen.

Ein kleines Stück Wald und direkter Zugang zum Meer, Restaurants und bars relativ fußläufig erreichbar allerdings ist die anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen. Top Lage direkt an einem der schönsten Strände Koh Lantas. Bambus Bungalows mit Terrasse und allen Annehmlichkeiten: Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, Warmwasser, gutes Internet, Restaurant direkt m Strand, freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal und vieles mehr. Vor allem das Management war immer sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen! Die Bungalows sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, werden aber laufend renoviert!
- Bower (9/5): Great Experience - We loved the location, and everything that surrounds it. The food here is delicious! The massages are fabulous and the beach and views are to die for! The accommodation is basic as expected and the bed is very comfortable. totally worth the whole experience. Staff are so lovely and helpful, and everyone wants the best for your stay. To anyone reading this......these are just small issues, and if sorted the 'exceptional' would be met....do not let this put you off staying at this amazing resort and experiencing something different ! We didn't like the mosquito nets. They had some large holes in them and as they are round, you tend to sleep in the middle of the large bed ( there were 2 of us ) or you get attacked by the net which becomes annoying. I suggest up grading the nets to fit around the shape of the bed. This would give a more luxurious feel and would help to relax more at night. We also recommend getting the toilet more stable to the floor, as evertime we sat, it moved.

My advice is book a good hotel and stay there where you have access to a swimming pool ' not a pond and thai hotel would be a good option ' where you will get proper thai hospitality ' not what this guy hands out AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Still waiting for a settlement of this complaint - I truly feel scammed by the hotel. Nails sticking from floors Mostly non-existent wifi in my room Mosquitoes everywhere and so many big holes in the mosquito net. Every night I was eaten alive. Restaurant not even worth considering - go to the neighboring hotel for cheaper and better food for all meals. Bungalows have no insulation -> so much noise Smell of sewage every time I flushed the toilet In general the bungalow felt very old and neglected
- eleni (6/5): - Amazing location, next to a very Beautiful beach, relatively quiet (gets a bit noisy if you're staying in a bungalow closer to the street). Great potential but unfortunately not enough to be able to give good score and recommend this place. Unfortunately, the facilities are in dire need of renovation. Broken bamboo parts all over, coacroaches in the bedrooms, broken wooden steps at the entrance of the bungalow and the list is long. It looks like the staff are doing their best however there needs to be some serious investment here. The restaurant is Expensive and not very good. Not good value for money (this was in high season in February)..

- Barry (3/5): Be warned when booking this accommodation - The local Thai people working at the resort Be warned when booking this accommodation, as they charge your credit card an additional 10% without prior notice! We contacted the resort through the Booking portal and asked for an explanation. They told us they would reimburse the creditcard charges if we paid the full amount again in cash and in THB upon arrival! We told the manager we were not going to pay twice but we simply wanted a refund of what they wrongly overcharged. Despite many talks this never happened which felt to us like a dirty trick. There was never a warning when we booked this online, they just overcharged us and we were trapped. FYI, paying such big amounts in cash isn’t really an option either as it would require several ATM transactions (and fee costs) due to daily cash limit restrictions. Apart from this all, we found that the resort is not very special either. It’s way overpriced and there are so many other nice places in the area. The local Thai people working at the resort were nice though. Thanks to them we were still able to enjoy our holiday and forget about this unpleasant experience.

- Jutta (7/5): - Schöne goldige Anlage direkt am Meer mit einem wundervollen Strand Da die Häuser aus Bambus sind,standen hier und da Nägel ab. Oft drauf getreten. Die Stufen im Bungalow sind sehr hoch. Der Weg zum Hotel ist abends komplett unbeleuchtet. Der Pool ist ein größeres Aufstellbecken und war absolut nicht nutzbar. Komplett grünes Wasser und dreckig.

- tompet64 (5/5): - Strand ist super, Frühstück nicht beansprucht, Strand sehr gut Alles ziemlich heruntergekommen. Liegen nicht in ausreichender Menge vorhanden und Polsterungen sind sehr ebenfalls sehr heruntergekommen. Für ein "Resort" sollte auch ein Bereich mit Tischen und Stühlen vorhanden sein in dem man sich ohne dauerndem "Konsum" aufhalten kann z.B. zum Kartenspielen, dies fehlte uns komplett und ist für diesen Preis nicht zu rechtfertigen. Die Bambus Bungalows sind recht schön, jedoch sollten die am Boden und und an den Sitzgelegenheiten herausstehenden Nägel immer wieder einmal "hineingeschlagen" werden da besteht große Verletzungsgefahr!

Non si tratta di un vero e proprio resort ma è un posto dove trovare tranquillità in un posto bellissimo. Siamo stati sia nel dome (la cupola) che nel bungalow. Non sono forse l'extra lusso, ma l'esperienza per quanto ci riguarda è andata oltre le aspettative. C'è anche un parco giochi per i bambini subito dietro la spiaggia. Niente. Tutto perfetto

- Oskar (8/5): We had 9 wonderful nights here at the best part of long beach. - Uncomparably situated at the best point of Long Beach, right by the beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful, food was great at the restaurant (except for breakfast that was not so good + double the price of a standard lunch/dinner - why?), great cleaning and overall helpful staff. Wonderful massage-hut in direct proximity. Complimentaey drinking water from refill-station at reception. Rooms felt cosy and cleaning was good, all electrics, water, AC and hot water worked perfectly - BUT these are wooden bungalows in a tropical country = don’t expect the hygienic/cleanliness standards you are used to from western 5+ resorts, and don’t complain if you find any animals around/in your bungalow. However we loved this place, its people and atmosphere right by the beach and would absolutely come back again. Suited us perfectly! Breakfast was OK but pricy and small (300THB) We didn’t use the pool - i think it’s a salt water pool with eco-filtering which is a nice thought but in practical it didn’t work - it seemed dirty and not swimable. The bungalows have high steps both outside and inside the bungalow and are not suited for elderly people or people having trouble walking.
- Anne Fiil (10/5): Vi ville gerne have taget en uge mere her… - Det er et super dejligt resort- særligt med børn! Vores børn blev hurtigt meget trygge der og nød det lille “landsby-samfund”. Personalet var søde og imødekommende. Placeringen er fænomenal med stranden helt tæt på. Resortet har også en dejlig massageafdeling og en udmærket restaurant. Poolområdet er ikke i top, men hvad skal man med det, når man har en vidunderlig strand? Du skal heller ikke forvente interiør i perfekt stand, men vi elskede de meget autentiske og ærlige bungalows. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage❤️

Habe in 5 tagen Aufenthalt niemanden baden gesehen... 3 Frösche, 2 Kakerlaken und undefinierbare Würmer im Zimmer!! Kleinere Matratze war hart wie ein Stein. Essen gut aber überteuert Service war einfach unterdurchschnittlich Gesamte Preis-Leistung schlecht!!!
- paolo (10/5): UN INCANTEVOLE OASI DI PACE - Siamo stati benissimo una vera Oasi di pace! I bungalow sono spaziosi e carinissimi. Il ristorante davvero top. La spiaggia la migliore di tutte con Sole tutto il giorno (e ombra volendo sotto i pini) Non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Paolo e Gaia Ho cercato difetti ma non li ho trovati!!
