- Emma (8/5): Would recommend if looking for a safe and lovely base for Marrakesh - Lovely staff, beautiful building. Breakfast good and lunch exceptional (highly recommend the lemon chicken) A little hard to find but that’s easily sorted.
- Henri (10/5): -
- Tanya Firth (9/5): Charming hotel - Charm, staff wonderful, rooms beautiful, courtyard perfect.
- cristina (10/5): Just fabulous - Everything was amazing, we loved everything, from the interiors to the staff to the amenities, we plan to go back!
- Richard (8/5): - Staff
Surroundings Breakfast average
- Maddalena (9/5): Amazing stay, will definitely recommend - Beautiful riad, clean, amazing staff and spacious rooms. It’s like a little paradise Wifi not always stable, everything else was amazing.
- Alain (10/5): - Un séjour parfait.
- Gonçalo (10/5): Excelente Riad !!! Recomendo com serviço incrível - Espaço incrível Localização
- Felice (10/5): - Il personale, la struttura e la posizione
- carla (9/5): -
- Tatiana (10/5): Peaceful oasis in a busy city - Very beautiful aesthetic, rooms with character and very clean. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great, and the welcome mint tea was a lovely touch. We were sad to leave! Nothing
- ryan (10/5): - It was fabulous..... Great staff ...great food
You should tell all staff that the local currency can't be used in the Airport perhaps they will tip more when they check out as the local currency is no good to them when leaving..... Great stay
- Christian (10/5): A great stay in a fantastic Riad in the Medina - Our Stay in la Villa Nomade was really exceptional, the rooms were large and confortable with a great view on a beautiful patio. Breakfast fantastic with fresh pastries, cake and bread. The staff was very helpful, smiling and present when needed.
We really enjoyed our time there and we'll be back in the summer to try the swimming pool. The property was well situated with a discreet access. At night , the GPS of our iPhone was needed to find our way.
- David (10/5): Un endroit magnifique !
Magnifique demeure, chambres spacieuses, lit confortable.
Personnel d’une gentillesse extraordinaire et bienveillante.
Repas délicieux. Petit déjeuner copieux.
Une séjour parfait!
- Roch (10/5): -
- roger (8/5): -
- helen (10/5): We loved this place -so authentic Marrakesh and just on the edge of the medina. Food was great room was stunning , showe - Decor and staff beautiful place Can’t get a taxi to the door due to location. Air con a bit noisy but small detail.
- Sheila (10/5): Wonderful riad - Everything! Had the most relaxing time. The staff were do helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Food was delicious 😋 The pool was freezing, but it's not really a complaint.
- Igor (8/5): Overall, I enjoyed the stay - Very green inner yard, full of palms and plants! Very friendly staff, refreshing pool. Decent SPA, very convenient to have it in the same building. Quite hard to find, but once local kids help you to find it for the first time, you’ll be alright. Eggs for breakfast are for extra charge, first time I see it in Morocco. Initially, we got a very small room which didn’t look like the one we booked but after complaints they switched it to a better one for free :) On the ground floor, the central system is used for AC, it’s quite old and stinks, but we just opened windows and it was fine.
- Vanessa (10/5): - Très joli Riad, petite piscine à l’écart très agréable. Jolie décoration de la chambre. Très bon petit déjeuner et personnel charmant.
- Martin (10/5): A haven amongst the chaos outside the riad. - Beautiful rooms and surroundings. The staff were attentive down to the last detail. The food was excellent, especially breakfast each morning. As tap water isn’t drinkable it would have been good to have a fresh bottle of water placed in the room each day.
- Heidi (8/5): - Staff was really nice. Rooms are spacious. The area around the hotel is really sketchy. You need to take a taxi to go anywhere- its not walkable to anything.
- Laura (10/5): - A lovely stay in Marrakech. The courtyard is so calm and peaceful - a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast every day. Room was quiet and spacious. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. The neighbourhood can be a bit tricky to navigate in the evening, but felt safe.
- Francoise (9/5): - Très beau Riad au service irréprochable. Personnel aux petits soins. Soins au hammam très agréables. Rien
- Heitor (10/5): - Amazing place
- Valjdet (10/5): - The property really was charming. A beautiful escape from the Medina. Quiet. You could hear the birds chirping. The rooms were nice and spacious. Breakfast was good. They help you plan excursions and get taxis. One of their taxi guys was over priced thoigh and he had no air conditioning. I also had a massage and it was so so but the price was good. I would recommend to a friend
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Valerie (10/5): -
- Julien (10/5): - Rien
- ARNIS (10/5): - In 50 countries that I have traveled to, this staff went above and beyond on every single detail every single day. From the welcome at arrival, to the food, to the recommendations, to our safety, to finding reliable taxi drivers, to finding a nanny for our baby. There is not enough words to express our gratitude to the entire staff. THANKS A LOT everyone. We will be coming back.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - The room was impeccable and the staff was excellent, especially the receptionist Btissan and Mustapha. The location. It was a bit far from the center.
- Nogol (10/5): - Wonderful staff, amazing food, great design, super clean
- Sébastien (8/5): Very good -
- Aicha (4/5): - This is not a real luxury property but the main problem is that you cannot arrive to the front door without walking. At night it was very unsafe even the night porter was scared of the gangs of men hanging on the street directly outside . Not suitable for 2 women travelling alone. This is my 3rd trip to Marrakesh I would never stay in this area again. I never leave reviews but I was upset that nowhere on the description of the hotel does it say it’s accessible only by foot in the middle of the medina.
- Alexis (10/5): - Excellente place où rester!
- Manuel (10/5): - All the hotel
- Manuel (10/5): - All was good and very friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb - La Villa Nomade is an oasis in the hustle of Marrakesh. Our stay there was fabulous. The facilities are high standard: very clean and super comfortable beds. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ibtisam in particular was incredible in providing most appreciated tips and making reservations. If you cannot stay there, make sure to stop by their tranquil Riad to enjoy a drink and sample their most delicious food. We had the best lamb tagine there. We cannot wait to stay there again in future visits to Marrakesh.
Anbefales.
- Ciaran (10/5): Calm, chic Riad with excellent service. - A beautiful, calm oasis in the bussle of the Marrakech Medina. The heat and the madness of the city melts away as soon as you step through the door. Quiet, cool and calm, with trickling fountain and beautiful planting, the only sound is the chirping of birds.
The attentive staff couldn't have been more helpful. Wonderful food, a nice cozy bar for an evening drink. Rooftop loungers where you can soak up the sun, or plunge in to the pool to cool off.
Just perfect.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grigor (6/5): - Very dark room not at all like the ones shown in the picture. The room
Has lighting flickering issues not enough power outlets no windows extremely dark
The location and s very far from old city Medina
Not recommended.
The staff were very polite and helpful and friendly.
Overall the lodging is not worth the value for short time stays since you’ll waste lot of time going to center
- Paola (10/5): - Amazing place
- David (10/5): - Wonderful hotel and people! Unique and nicely decorated and landscape property, a calm oasis. All staff so attentive and kind, helpful. Breakfast a treat, the best yoghurt we have had. Coffee very good. Dinner delicious, food recipes with typical some fruit a little sweetness. Inside old cities, around the property local. Long walks each day 3 to 5 km through the local markets.
- blen (10/5): - The taxi always have finding the place. No cars get right to the main door. The doorman have to come out to show you directions after you call the property. The staff was amazing, the place was beautiful… can’t do anything about the location once it’s built that way.
- AMAL (6/5): - Cute and authentic but very inconvenient, hard to get to by taxi location
- Tatiana (10/5): - Very good and friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful and peaceful property
- DEVARAJEN (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and I was even treated to a cake and massage for my birthday!
Colazione e servizi molto curati
- william (10/5): - Absolutely gorgeous place, very good food, and first class service! Also, 5 minute walk to the Medina. Will definitely return!
- Eric (10/5): - We loved everything about this villa. So beautiful and well designed rooms and patio.
The food is delicious and we ate several meals there.
The bathrooms and showers are clean and we had no problems here at all.
We would definitely come back.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Stay here if you want to immerse yourself in Marrakech. This Riyadh is everything we could’ve asked for and more. Located inside the old city, but away from the noise and chaos, closer to the walls. The staff is warm and welcoming. The decor is traditional, very comfortable and very beautiful. The traditional, breakfast of sweet bread, yoghurt and fruit is delicious. Absolute perfection on all counts. I have to mention the lighting in the evenings is sublime as the lanterns fill the inner courtyard and bedroom with magical light, you feel as if you are surrounded by stars. A truly memorable experience.
- Valerie Anne (8/5): - Lovely traditional Riad. The staff fantastic. The only slight drawback are the steep narrow stairs. We coped ok but anyone older or with mobility issues would struggle.
As to the area it’s reasonably easy walking distance to the souks and even at night we felt very safe. Morocco is a culture shock no doubt but a really friendly people
- Rosa (10/5): An oasis of calm - The hotel is beautiful with attractive Moroccan furniture and it's very nicely decorated, with a delightful patio full of vegetation. The suites are much more spacious, so if you can afford one, take it. We had a standard room downstairs, and though it was nicely decorated, it was quite small and very dark. Our friends had a suite upstairs, and it was very lovely.
I let them know I was celiac and asked if it were possible they have some kind of gluten-free breakfast for me, and they were marvelous- I had various different homemade breads and sweet breads made specially for me and served every breakfast. Thank you all working in the kitchen.
The food is excellent and the restaurant charming. One thing I didn't like was they only give you a bottle of water the day you arrive and if one is staying various more nights one isn't given any more- one must pay for them, and considering the price one is paying for the room I don't find that correct.
And there is no electric jug in the room, so there is no option of getting oneself a cup of tea or coffee - if one is on the upper floor, one must walk down all the stairs to order some tea or whatever.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay
Our friends also came to celebrate my 75th birthday . Everything was made very special by the staff
Thank you !🙏❤️
- Nicolas (8/5): Very good - Beautiful Riad and beautiful interior design
- Flavien (10/5): An incredible place! - From the moment we stepped into La Villa Nomade, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, always greeting us with a smile and making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging excursions, offering local recommendations, or simply ensuring we had everything we needed, their attentiveness was truly exceptional.
The riad itself is stunning, with traditional Moroccan architecture, beautifully decorated rooms, and a peaceful courtyard that feels like an oasis away from the bustling medina. The rooftop terrace provided breathtaking views, especially at sunset, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible restaurant. The food was a perfect blend of authentic Moroccan flavors and fresh ingredients, with every dish beautifully presented. Breakfasts were a delight, and the dinners were among the best we had in Marrakech.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, charm, and top-notch service, La Villa Nomade is an absolute gem. We left feeling not just like guests, but like family, and we can’t wait to return!
HERVORRAGENDES PERSONAL
- Richard (10/5): Great Rhiad to stay to explore Marrakesh- would use again - Great Rhiad to north of Medina, inside city walls. Breakfast and dinner were great - we ate there every night. Very attentive staff. Some beautiful spaces - a bar, a library, a terrace and an outside dining area - to enjoy. As it is to north of Medina, you will need to walk through Medina to find other restaurants, or get a taxi.
- alison (10/5): Stunning - Beautiful Riad in the northern end of the medina , when you arrive the area is deprived, rundown and ‘typical’ and as you walk down narrow alleyways you may wonder where you are ! but once through the door of the Riad you are in an oasis of calm and Moroccan beauty .. we recommend you use the hotel airport transfer as they send a porter out to the taxi stop to meet you The room was large and comfortable , completely Moroccan in style and decor making this trip all the more special . The staff were wonderful , literally nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast was served to the table rather than buffet style and was excellent !
Would highly recommend .
- Edward (10/5): - La Villa Nomade was the most amazing Riad!
Absolutely beautiful property, stunning landscape and architecture! The staff are so warm and welcoming and helpful. We cannot recommend more highly!
We will be returning to Marrakech and will definitely stay here.
- Jenaba (10/5): - The villa was amazing and the staff was very hospitable and helpful. The villa is near most attractions and restaurants. It is also very aesthetically pleasing. Would definitely stay again!
- David (10/5): Short but wonderful stay - The Riad is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The central garden area is stunning, as is the roof top lounge area.
The room itself was also amazing, with the feeling of staying in a grand palace. The bed was very comfortable and beddings very beautiful.
The staff are welcoming, helpful and very discreet.
The smell throughout is fabulous also, very relaxing and fresh.
The spa facilities and treatment offered are extensive and pool facilities above expectations.
We had an evening meal at the Riad and the food was way above expectations - and we are fussy eaters. The lamb tagine especially is stunning. The breakfast was very nice also - the best we had during our stay in Riads within Marrakech.
All in all this riad is stunning. Definitely worth staying there a few nights. The Riad is in the Kbour Chou area, to the north west (just inside the N8). It is slightly away from the main points of interest in central Marrakech and therefore a taxi is recommended. However, the Majorelle Gardens and St Laurent museum are in the same area.
- Gianfranco (10/5): - wunderschöne Tage ! Herzlichen Dank an das ganzenTeam
- Andreas (8/5): Very good -
- Eleni (10/5): - Had a really lovely stay and all the staff was so kind and accommodating.
- Hania (10/5): - Beautiful riad. While the area may appear unsafe, staff are so accommodating and will walk you to where you need to be picked up.
- Hania (10/5): - Beautiful Riad with great service and amenities. We stayed for 3 nights, went to the desert and came back for one night before our flight. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and made according to our very early starts. We also went to the hammam and it was great. Just couldn't get over how beautiful everything was. Highly recommend!
- Phuong (9/5): Superb -
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - The Riyadh was fabulous WE loved everything
- Jun Ting (10/5): - The riad was quiet and has a nice courtyard. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was a bit small but cozy.
- Marion (9/5): Superb - garden, rooftop and view last few meters aren't accessible by car
- ELIZABETH (10/5): - A excellent places
- Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was just perfect. The hotel is like an oasis of calm in the city. Very quiet, with soft pleasant music and it smelled good everywhere. Our room was nice, clean and spacious. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast, tea and Moroccan pastry were also very tasty.
The hotel is not easy to find, but if you get lost, you can call the hotel and the staff will pick you up. The reception was manned at all times and the staff were very helpful.
- Deborah (10/5): I could not have chosen a better place to stay and it exceeded my expectations -
- Elisa (10/5): - Very intimate setting in a busy city. Really charming riad
- Kenneth (10/5): - This is a gorgeous riad in the medina near one of the side gates, so parking/taxis are easily accessible. Near to the souks and Ben Youssef medresa. But the biggest pluses are the absolutely stunning grounds and the friendly and considerate staff. You’ll love lounging in the courtyard and sipping on mint tea, and the staff will see to your every need- in virtually any language! I’d go back in a heartbeat, 10/10
- Valerie (10/5): - Je recommande fortement
Excellent service
Décor super
Top !
Patio grandiose
- Sheri (10/5): - This property is a total gem nestled in the noise and chaos of the Old City. You walk in the door and you are transported to tranquil and beautiful Riad. The staff if completely incredible and so helpful. Parking is a challenge but they definitely assisted with that.
The room was nice but not having any outside windows made it feel a little weird. Breakfast is bread, sweets and more bread. There are options that you can pay extra for.
All in all and beautiful place!
