Guest Reviews

- brenda (10/5): Great 👌 and perfect - Very nice and very clean. Very easy to get to and not too far away from the Blackpool tower. And the staff was very helpful and friendly. The entertainment was excellent and the bingo was fun. I will definitely be coming back again 🥳😄🥰🍻 The was too many steps in and the life was in a very different place 🤔
- Anne (1/5): Run down and clearly had not been cleaned. - On entering the room it looked run down and was thick dust all around the cloth headboard and all along the wood around the bed area. Corridor’s smelt of cigarette smoke despite it being a no smoking hotel.
Was offered another room which looked better but again thick with dust around the headboard on the beds.
- daniels (10/5): -
- Julia (2/5): Not the best... - The location, relatively clean. Everytime someone passes by on the corridor it feels like they're going straight to your room. Only window in my room was facing the corridor (other side) so I couldn't have my curtains open to avoid other guests seeing me.
No storage space for luggage apart from (leave it nearby the bar and someone will have an eye on it).
Had an ice shower because there was no hot water at night.
- Paul (9/5): Excellent location friendly staff good spacious twin room - Staff were excellent room was spacious excellent breakfast Shower was poor and late check in could be earlier
- Ronald (6/5): - Staff lovely Very dated rooms and very noise floors
- Tony (10/5): Can’t complain about anything, the staff was lovely and helped me out a lot - I found this on booking.com but when I got there they didn’t have the booking as they said they don’t use bookings but they still sorted a room for me as I was down here cos my partner was rushed to hospital and I needed somewhere to stay
- vicky (9/5): -
- Jayne (8/5): - Friendly staff, comfy bed and nice room. Great location Didn't like the shower. Ladies toilets. In cabaret lounge in serious need of refurbishment
- Gillian (3/5): - The staff was friendly It was dirty. The hole of the hotel is indeed of a refurbishment.
- Andrew (3/5): Disappointed! - The rooms on the 3rd floor are red hot and you can’t even open the window, the shower is lukewarm, the hotel is worn and dated and I think they ran out of paint in the last refurbishment as the paint work is very patchy Firstly the huge rule sheet I stay in hotels every week never had a set of rules like this, also a member of staff phoned after we left asking for payment for a second key! We never received a second key, the rooms are really hot no air flow and very uncomfortable and to top it off we had young people banging and shouting!
- Ruth (6/5): A one night stay in a good location. Bed was clean and comfy but room in need of an update. - Location No secure space to leave luggage. Very early checkout.
- Salise (1/5): - The staff were happy to help and always smiling. It was filthy, one of my "clean" towels had a ginger hair on it! My hair is black, so definitely wasn't mine.
Even after house keeping had been it was dirty. This hotel needs to be closed down and be refurbished before taking anymore bookings.
- Christopher (8/5): - Clean and good location
- Kaley (9/5): Was a nice hotel with friendly staff. - The showers were strong. The room was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I liked that there was bingo. Lots of creaking floorboards. We could hear Everytime somebody walked past. The doors to the lift would have been good if they were automatic so it was easier to get through with the case.
- Linda (1/5): Do not recommend for disabled guest . Needs updating . - Close to north pier . Full cooked breakfast. This hotel is NOT wheelchair friendly. Steps to get into hotel . Then steps to get to the lift . Lift very small . Bit smell of damp as you get out the lift . Rooms are outdated. Bed was hard but clean . I said was disabled and was put 3rd floor with only a bath .
- Pilkington (9/5): - Friendly staff helpfull Breakfast was a self service, plenty of food but wasn't up to my taste, cheap sauces and jams etc
- atkinson (2/5): Won’t be staying again - Stayed many times before Found a receipt from 2023 (think cleaners need to do better )wallpaper all ripped off walls dirty marks all over walls and overpriced without a breakfast
- Edmund (10/5): Thanks again - Stayed here numerous time.
Best hotel in Blackpool for dog friendly, location, value.
Staff great. Breakfast good. The room was recently renovated and was great. The shower didn’t get hot. Was getting warm after a long time running. Think there is a control for it outside the bathroom but not sure that’s what it was for. No instructions.
- Sarah (8/5): - Everything was good Nothing
- Alice (3/5): Not Great - Location Floorboards very loud you can hear every room around you, was woken up at 7am by other rooms just starting their day, shower was very outdated had to stand right up against the wall for the water to hit you, bed was extremely old and uncomfortable, TV was tiny wouldn't recommend.
- David (7/5): - Location, breakfast and good sleep Nothing
- Laura (7/5): - good location room pictures vs reality was quite different
- D (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Every thing was good definitely breakfast It did its job only 1 min from sea
- Nicole (5/5): You get what you pay for I suppose - Lovely staff team Was very dated and rooms seriously need decorated and refurbished. Lampshade filthy, drafty window and carpet was so dirty and coming away from the wall.
- Garry (8/5): -
- Phyllis (10/5): - Staff were very pleasant Nothing it was excellent
- JOAN (7/5): - Everything apart from the mattress. We were only there for 1 night. Mattress needs replacing urgently Mattress
- Jeffery (10/5): -
- Martin (4/5): Standing at the reception for over ten minutes trying to check out we ended up just posting the keys not impressed with - The outside It was old and run down the floors where dangerous every time someone walked in the hall it woke us up
- Craig (7/5): Staff 5 Stars, room needs work. - Staff = 20/10 ✅✅✅
Dog Friendly = 20/10 ✅✅✅
Location 10/10 ✅✅✅
From the moment I arrived on 28th Jan 2026 the staff treated me and my dog very well, such lovely people that I came across employee in this hotel.
A shoutout to night porter Damien who is such a lovely gentlemen, warm heart with such a positive soul.
Very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my dog and I were catered for during breakfast, as I was isolated through in the bar for my morning meal (due to having the dog, which I had no problem with) I was allocated a room on the third floor, the more you climbed the stairs the more outdated and abandoned the hotel decor looked.
My room was spacious, however the walls had 4 holes in walls which looked like cowboy builder’s just filled and left. Not been sanded down or painted. So the room just looked abandoned and messy.
Unfortunately my room is filled with very outdated and squeaky floorboards both in the main room and bathroom, I felt sorry for my neighbours next to me and the room below me.
The mattress on the bed needs replacing as you can feel every single spring.
I can’t speak for floor 1 and 2
I paid £50 for this room, and was disappointed. Didn’t expect that for value for money.
- Paul (9/5): - Great location for funny girls. Decent size room good choice at breakfast. Nothing
- Lois (7/5): -
- wendy (10/5): - nice cosy room staff nice
- joanne (10/5): -
- Callum (10/5): Excellent. -
- Edmund (10/5): Good as always - Great value dog friendly hotel in superb location. Good breakfast. Had a good room with tower view. Stayed here about 20 times so must be worth staying here. Satisfied with everything. Nit picking. The cold tab in the bathroom was loose. The TV remote control was near the end of its life.
- Nick (6/5): Comfortable bed , rooms a bit shabby needs updating - Location Outdated, poor breakfast
- Sheridan (3/5): -
- Derek (9/5): - Love the hotel not to disabled friendly tight doors to lift and stairs but acceptable but some fantastic staff hard to change structure As above
- Chrissy (8/5): Lovely one night stay - Location. The entertainment on the night we stayed was very good. The bar staff are really nice (especially Alfie) and we always have a chat. The lift makes me worry, it is only a small one.
- DAVIE (8/5): -
- Lee (8/5): Great location - Great location staff very helpful, housekeeping excellent Basic breakfast, parking increases
- Jean (8/5): friendly staff private carpark was good - breakfast was nice rooms nice and warm the lift was very old tried not to use it rather walk up to 3rd floor
- David (4/5): Disappointing Stay - The Entertainment, Bingo & Breakfast. Fire Alarms kept going off throughout the night. Rooms are very dated, cracks in walls, carpets torn, toilet seat hanging off, no plug sockets near the bed, there's only special sockets for the lamps. We had 2 dogs and were put in the first room next to the lift and the stairwell where everyone passes to get to their rooms, so a sleepless night. With tale force winds I walked the dogs and thought rather than the dogs being trampled on through the entertainment area I'd come through the back door. I rang the bell 6 times and also called the hotel twice, in the end I had to walk around to a young lad stood at the reception, I said I've rand twice and pressed the bell 6 times, he said he couldn't hear it although the phone was 30 cm away from him, so in the end had to try and get to dogs through the entertainment area with people dancing. The Bar Lass (Tracey) is fantastic and loves dogs. The room has a kettle, cups, coffee etc but no water to fill the kettle!
- Rob (6/5): Cheap and cheerful - The breakfast is really
Good, rooms are dated but clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great value for money Rooms are dated and could do with an update
- Simon (9/5): -
- Sharon (8/5): -
- sharon (8/5): Great stay - The room was large good entertainment Lift problems
- Edmund (10/5): Glad to be back - First time back at the hotel for a while. Always my first choice if it’s available. Dog friendly in superb location. Staff are brilliant. Breakfast is good (apart from the toaster but that’s hotels for you) I have no complaints
- Patricia weir (8/5): -
- Gary (1/5): - Nothing very dirty rude receptionist not a very pleasant stay Nowt dump
- Malik (5/5): Not recommended at all - Location is good 1: Breakfast was terrible.
2: we were given a room on third floor and there is no lift.
3: parking is £10 per night.
4: No hot water at all.
5: Crockery was chipped and stained
- Frank (1/5): - nothing they cancelled my booking

- Nikkie stevenson (7/5): One night stay - The reception and staff was lovely. Paying for parking was easy and getting to our room was easy and the entertainment was good . Good location for walking into town centre and good views if you get a seaview room the rooms needs a bit of re doing and TLC but comfortable bed and had everything you needed for one night.
- finbar (4/5): -
- finbar (4/5): - At first it was great Noticed bites next day, then on departure I was covered in flea bites,
- finbar (4/5): - Hotel is very good but my room was infested with flees I have never been bit by fleas this much before, it needs sorting out,
- Tara (8/5): Great comfortable hotel - Was a friendly hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good with a good selection. There was entertainment on every night and there is an option for evening meal too at an extra cost. The hotel had a lift but you have to climb a few steps to get to it and it's only suitable for 2 people at a time so when there's a coach party there could be a long wait.
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
