The staff are helpful and the beds so comfortable. It was disappointing not to have breakfast included- not even the basic continental breakfast. This was included in a previous stay and I don’t know why the basic breakfast was not included this time.

- Ros (8/5): Luxury hotel - A very well organised property with great facilities with indoor & outdoor heated pools & lots of outdoor seating & sun loungers. Very well trained staff who were friendly,knowledgeable & polite. Liked the fact you had the choice of ordering a continental breakfast separately to a full English. The bedroom decor was very attractive & the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary spiced rum in the room was a very nice touch. The car park was a nightmare & too expensive @ £27 which only covered an overnight stay & not 24 hours.Had to leave car keys with the porter who had to keep moving cars so you get your car out. We were kept waiting for longer than we expected as he couldn’t find the keys of the cars which were blocking us in. The bedrooms had no plugs near a mirror to use the hairdryer. The bathroom needed a shelf to put toiletries on. It would have been nice to have warm croissants at breakfast.

And even though there were a few parties going on in the hotel and a wedding our room was nice and quiet so we had a great night's sleep. The spa was amazing I had an amazing hour massage with Mel. It was a busy weekend for the staff with a wedding etc but it felt like there should have been more waiting staff in the restaurant and terrace. They all looked pretty stressed and were working very hard. So more staff are definitely needed to help with a shorter wait for tables and food.

Outside pool is heated, but definitely not warm enough for an outside pool in the UK when it’s 15 degrees. Some staff were nice, some were moody and made you feel like a pain for asking questions.

Cooked breakfast was ok, could be better. Too many times we ordered something when sat in the bar and it never turned up. Staff forgot to put the order through. Some guests either staying or not were not very delightful. A real mix of people. For an expensive hotel you expect a little more class, such a lot of guests lacked. For this reason I wouldn’t rush back.

Dinner in South Beach was lovely. Reception staff not particularly friendly or helpful especially did not help at all with early check in despite having a young baby. Car parking facility is poor and overpriced, our car was moved, totally blocked in and staff didn’t have a key for any cars even though we were told to leave ours.

- Sim (5/5): The room smelt and I was over charged - The room we stayed in smelt of dog the hand wash was broken and I was charged for this (£40) and there was a book in the room apparently which I was also charged for never knew what book. I’m very disappointed with my stay won’t be returning Reception staff were lovely spa staff weren’t really bothered not really helpful either
