• Asami (7/5): 一人で泊まるのに最適 - 駅が近くて周りにコンビニや飲食店が多くスーパーもあり立地が良かった。 受付の方も感じが良かった。 建物は少し古い感じもあったんですが清掃も行き届いていました。シャワーカーテンが綺麗にしてあったのはポイント高かったです。

• Maya (7/5): - ロケーションが文句なしです。 近くにコンビニ、スーパー、飲食店等があるので、食事にはまず困りません。 駅もすぐ近くにあり、東京駅まで約３０分程度で行けます。 ドリンクサービスがあったのも嬉しかったです。 喫煙ルームを予約してしまったので当然ですが(それしか空いてなかった為)、部屋中にタバコの匂いが染み付いていたので、タバコの煙にそれほど嫌悪感がない自分でもあまり快適に過ごせなかったです(単に私の読みが甘かっただけですが)。 あとカード式ルームキーを外出する度にフロントへ預ける必要があったのが、少し面倒でした。

• nana (7/5): そこそこ快適に過ごせました。 - 1泊ワンドリンクサービスがあったところ。 駅近でこの価格はありがたいです！ 夜もうるさくなく、快適に眠れました。 スタッフの方も優しく好印象でした。 電子レンジの扉が開けられず使えなかったので、説明文を近くに設置して欲しかったです。 使ったことが無いタイプの電子レンジで分かりませんでした。 もう1点は、送風設定を強から弱に近づけても体感の室温が変わらなかったことです。設定変更に意味があったのかどうか、分かりませんでした。

(7/5): Excellent place to stay if you can compromise on breakfast! - Location is just perfect!! near to Funabori station, might be 1-2 minutes walk, AEON mall is next to the hotel which makes the stay even comfortable as we can buy anything to eat or use. Hotel room was clean, and all the amenities were available next to the elevator. Coffee machine with a reasonably good coffee options was also available at the reception. There were very limited options for breakfast. Due to dietary restrictions, I had to select toast and coffee, but to be really honest, that is not enough for a breakfast. There should be some more options.

• Fernan (8/5): - This Inn is very close to Funabori station which makes it convenient. There’s a small Aeon, arcade, combini, and dinning options nearby too. The Inn is a little dirty showing its age but still relatively comfortable. The AC didn’t work very well in my room. The staff is very nice and helpful. There’s also a Korean restaurant that serves breakfast next to the inn! I will consider staying here agian in future trips.
• Block (8/5): Great value and perfect location - The breakfast was fantastic and the location was perfect, right by the train station! It was quiet and they provided toiletries. Although the room was very small, it was great for the price. The room was a little too hot and the bed could have been more comfortable.
• Christa (2/5): - Negative: Room was super tiny and very outdated with a strange step up into the tiny bathroom that was difficult to navigate in the middle of the night for someone with back issues. We arrived at night & the neighborhood felt unsafe. Staff was cordial but not friendly. Positive: amenities were great & free beer!
• Alexander G (10/5): - Just a block away from Funabori station. Very easy to manage. There's a free tower, 3rd highest tower and can view Skinjuku tower. There a Lawson (7-11 like just better), next to the metro and has a self serve station. Easy in/out for your food and beer. The Inn provides free coffee, 1 free beer after 4pm, free wifi and theres a laundry access on the first floor. Check-in was very easy and the front desk know how to assist english speakers. Highly recommended
• Lay (7/5): I will definitely stay again if I were to return to Tokyo. - The location of the hotel is strategically next to the Funabori station. A lot of eatery around the hotel and AEON just located next door, and a pharmacy at the end corner lot. Basically, it it easy to get food. The hotel provides welcome drinks starts after 4pm and free coffee for whole days (as much as you want). The check in counter has an English native speaking staff that makes the check in a lot much more easier compared to other hotels that we stayed in Japan. The hotel prepares amenities near the check in counter where we can take whatever we needed for the stay. The bathroom which is one stair higher from the floor. It is difficult for our elderly with knees problems. Otherwise the hotel is pretty good.

• dylan (10/5): - I stayed here for about two weeks and the hotel itself is very nice, nothing fancy but perfect for a shorter stay or someone who is really only in their hotel to sleep. The room was very cosy and very quiet day and night. Also it's positioning being a 2 min walk from the train makes getting around Tokyo very easy. You are never more than 30 to 40 mins train from popular spots. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed something or help and the things provided each day for free such as beer or a soft drink are very nice after a long day in the city. Me and my wife liked the area the hotel was based as it felt very safe with a good selection of stores to browse and food to eat.
• Joseph (10/5): - The Kuratake in is steps away from the Funabori train station, about an hour away from Haneda Terminal 3, and about 45 minutes away from Tokyo station (going by train). You're going to be close enough to Tokyo to get there quickly and easily, but this hotel is also quite close to other points of interest, like Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea. It's not so close that you'll be in the middle of a noisy area when you're trying to sleep though. I've slept in smoking and non-smoking rooms and both are very clean and comfortable, to the point that you wouldn't know the smoking rooms have been smoked in. The only downside is how the Kuratake Inn does daily cleanings so once you leave in the morning, you may not be able to get back into your room until after 4pm. The attached restaurant offers several breakfast options, all delicious, and I would recommend giving them a chance. I've stayed at the Kuratake Inn in Funabori twice, and I can see myself staying there again.

• Alan (9/5): Superb - What a great value for the money, especially for solo travelers! The hotel is conveniently located 1 block away from the Funabori station on the Shinjuku line, making travel very convenient. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood at all times, including late at night after getting off the last train. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and they had extra supplies/toiletries that you could grab for free from the lobby. The breakfast in the connected restaurant that was included in my stay was great (Japanese, western, and Korean options), though there are other good places nearby for breakfast and other meals if you prefer. Tip: take advantage of the free coffee in the lobby instead of getting it from the restaurant where they charge you extra. Also, take advantage of the free beer and other beverages in the lobby each day! The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They have varying levels of English fluency, from native speaker to very basic, so please just be very kind and patient, and be prepared with a translator app if needed. I am a native English speaker from the US who speaks very little Japanese, and one morning I needed to ask a staff member a question, but they didn't speak much English. I took out Google Translate, and we had no issues! They were super friendly and even walked outside to point me to a nearby restaurant -- how kind! I will absolutely stay here again in the future!

• Brenda (8/5): Compact Japanese business hotel near Funabori Station - The location is less than a 5-minute walk from Funabori Station. I had a late check-in and contacted the hotel beforehand. The staff quickly replied and ensured everything would be okay even if I arrived late. One free daily drink can be collected from the fridge near the reception desk. There's also a hot beverage machine serving coffee and cocoa. The room is a typical compact Japanese business hotel, but it's clean, and all necessities are available. There is no trash can inside the bathroom.
