• sandy (4/5): - We were without electricity throughout the evening. Thus I had to text host in the morning to get the electrician there and wait to explore the city. It would have been a wonderful place to stay if the electricity was on and we could enjoy our coffee on the patio since we paid for the deluxe room. Host was not willing to price adjust for the inconvenience .

• Rachel (10/5): Great room! - Great room in the heart of the Diocletian's Palace! It was a bit tricky to find but I was given instructions before arriving which helped a lot. I did self check in and the key was in the door waiting for me. I had no problems. I love the one stone wall in the room, it's beautiful! It was a decently sized room and very clean. I was only here one night but it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend!

• Audrey (10/5): - Incredible little space! It was so cute and in a very quiet corridor of old town. It was clean and updated. AC worked wonderfully. It was definitely tiny, so great for a short term stay. Will say that it was very difficult to find because it’s through a corridor and up through a stairwell that’s tucked well away from the main corridor. A man came out of a restaurant and helped us find it. Another property we stayed at had a video of them walking through the path and how to get to their place so I’d definitely suggest that for future guests. Overall it was a lovely stay and I’d recommend it to others!

Bo was there with a smiling face everyday and was so pleasant to talk to. Just a few flight of stairs to get up. Once you find the location…you will find it to fit all of your needs for staying in Split.

It is in a great location ,close to everything, shops, cafes and restaurants/bars .But it also so very quiet as no traffic noise. Our room was lovely , with a balcony. We were able to help ourselves to coffee in lobby and fresh water and towels every day .I would recommend this accommodation as it was a lovely stay in Split and it was always easy to contact the owners and ask question's and they kindly sorted our taxis to and from the Airport. My boyfriend and i only stayed one night but the location itself made it possible to see everything we wanted to. The host is amazing, my boyfriend didn’t feel well provided assistance with locating a pharmacy and kept our bags safe after check out time as well while waiting for our ferry to the next location. Really couldn’t recommend more for an easy quick stay.

We were a bit disappointed in this hotel, however, due to the lack of communication. We tried to contact them through Expedia without any response. We were expecting an email with check in directions which didn’t come. After a telephone call, we finally received information regarding check in. No one was there at the reception when we arrived in late afternoon. We never learned if there was an option for breakfast. We just didn’t feel very welcomed.

• Andrea (10/5): - Perfect location. 10 minutes from the train station one way and 10 minutes to city centre and Duomo the other way. Description is exact and pictures describe the property perfectly. Be prepared for stairs to the apartment and to the second level sleeping as described.
• Vivienne (10/5): Perfect place to stay - A perfect place to stay in the centre of Split. Our superior double room was spacious, well organised and comfortable. An ideal position, right in the heart of the city but really quiet. The coffee machine makes excellent coffee. The rooms are close to a square where there are many places offering breakfast. Highly recommend this place to explore Split and would definitely return.

The room was also very small, and the bathroom cramped with no railing for your hand towel. Luckily we had access to the water heater as it had been set to 80℃ making the hot water incredibly hot!

• David (10/5): A Treasure in Old Town Split - Our hosts, Nur and Bozena are the best and most helpful managers, one could ever imagine. We had a cancelled ferry due to bad weather which meant we missed our flight to Rome and our Split booking. This accommodation was transferred penalty free and with such help with ensuing cancellations. Shame others involved weren’t of the same ilk.

The room was very cute and it had better TV stations the the other three, 5 star hotels we stayed at over the 2 weeks trip. (4 HBO english channels). They were very helpful and scheduled us a great driver with a new audi to take us to the airport. I would definitely reccomend this property if you want to be in the middle of all the shopping/restaurants! (Room was sound proof)

This accommodation is right in the centre of it, so it was perfectly located to explore. Extremely helpful hosts and a lovely warm welcome. Air conditioning was welcome as the weather was very warm.
• Michelle (10/5): Perfect oasis in the heart of Split - The location of the Centro di Centri is absolutely perfect being right in the centre of beautiful Split. The accommodation has been renovated beautifully and we couldn't fault it. The service we received from Nur, the receptionist, was first class, nothing was too much trouble for her. She arranged our taxi from the airport, she met us from the taxi in Split and arranged for our luggage to be brought to the rooms and equally on our return journey to the airport and the information she provided on the city was invaluable, a huge thank you to Nur!

Nur was lovely enough to go out of her way to lend us her own household cutlery so we could have meals at the apartment. All in all the apartment was beautiful and very clean. The room was clean and coffee and tea are always available. Communication with Nur, the lovely lady at the front desk, was excellent. She gave very clear instructions to find the place (we also used Google maps), and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Our room had no outside window and was very compact, hence not a perfect score.

I would just recommend that they put the smelly sticks that are in the hallway/lobby in that room to remove the odour. Other then that, housekeeping came every day with fresh towels and linens. The hotel was located in central old town which is a big bonus, close to everything! Overall it was a great experience!

• Amy (2/5): - Both Expedia and this hotel have been appalling throughout corona virus! I booked a bundle holiday with Expedia to which all other hotels and flights were refunded due to government guidelines! I am a key worker flights were grounded and hotels were shut everywhere was on lock down when I was supposed to be at this hotel! This hotel would not provide a refund so not only have I been working 12 hour shifts when I should have been on holiday but I’ve also lost £310! Expedia said the best they could offer was a voucher even though I’m not able to travel now, regardless of this I never did receive any voucher and this hotel and Expedia are impossible to contact! I have sent 3 emails to the hotel with no response!!!

We had to cancel everything about our trip because we are not allowed to travel and this hotel was the one place that would not give us our money back. To future people looking for places to stay in this are, stay far away from this place. These people will rip you off and not care about it at all.

We were expecting to have breakfast at the hotel and not a local cafe. Otherwise, staff were great and arranged transport to the airport for us, lovely clean rooms in a great location.

Big downsides to be aware of a) the stairs to second floor where you have to carry your luggage up b) questionable entry through a back ally that leads to the back door of a restaurant. Clear signs are no where to be found until you get to the bottom of the stairs. The AC works perfectly. I have learned to appreciate toiletry and hair dryers in Croatian hotels.

The room was clean and the facilities were clean, but there was an extremely foul smell coming from the ventilation. It smelled like a sewage problem. I understand that the building was extremely old, but there needs to be a solution to the smell, it is not good for the health.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Positives: - Wonderful, friendly, helpful, staff - Perfect, central location but still very peaceful - Comfy beds & bedding Negatives: - My room didn't look anything like the photos (I must have got the cheap one!) - There were mosquitoes in the bathroom, even though there were no windows to the outside from the room - Oddly there were some mouldy grapes left in the fridge - Very clean but the room just needed a bit of love - damp patches & marks on the walls
• Brandon (8/5): - What a great stay. The room had some small, small issues. Nothing really to complain about, but I only give 5 stars to perfection. The subfloor had a pretty noticeable hole in it that when you step on the wrong part, felt like you might fall. It’s only about a 10cm area, so nothing to worry about once you’ve found it. The water heater also let off an unpleasant smell? But the room itself was beautiful and well lit. Small, but useful. We would stay there again! The people are so kind and it was certainly worth the money.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A real gem in the heart of the old town. - For us, this was perfect. Immaculate, clean and efficient rooms. The staff were wonderful at all times but particularly helpful at check in and out. There are a few flights of stairs to climb but it’s worth it. You arrive at a haven, can freshen up and then wander around old Split to your hearts content - it’s all at you door step. Having looked around a few places at this time of year I feel that this is also very good value. We’ll be going back!!
