- Yvette (8/5): Beach Life - The stay here was fine. Not really exceptional but not bad either. Considering this is a beach town I didn't really expect more. The staff was not very friendly but they weren't rude either. This was just less than what we had experienced in other parts of the country. I did love that it was directly across from the beach and there were a couple of nearby places to eat. Everything else was in town which was a long walk or a $4 taxi ride... one way. Not bad. The worse thing here was the birds living in the roof, made noise all night long above my bed.... and the power outages which are standard there but bad if you are trying to sleep and there's no AC.

Just down the road is Tasty Waves which is a great restaurant and Caribeans coffee shop which has excellent coffee! We went there twice every day! The hotel staff are very informative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is right next to a beautiful beach with great swimming and surfing. We enjoyed the free breakfast everyday. Also, the rooms were clean and had air conditioning which was a huge plus considering the weather!
