• Org J (10/5): What a view!! - Probably the guesthouse with the best view in Bloemfontein. We had a very warm welcome on a cold and rainy day. Very friendly people. this is really a beautiful guesthouse. The breakfast were tastefully presented and delicious. We loved the place and will definitely stay there again. Nothing really, if I MUST find anything, i would prefer a showerhead which deliver more water, but that is just a personal preference, and in this water-scarce country its not something to say out loud.

• Diana (8/5): A pleasant stopover with a great view. - A spacious comfortable room, with bar fridge, TV, sofa, bath and shower ensuite, multiple cupboards, ironing board, iron, and coffee/tea making facilities. A welcome air conditioner! Filtered water in the fridge. A brilliant view over the hills and parts of Bloemfontein in a quiet setting. Good security and on-site parking. Plenty of seating. Good communication with the hosts prior to the stay, and a tasty breakfast. Location is near good restaurants suggested by the hosts. Good value for money. An incredibly steep and bendy driveway, probably to enable the view. It has been fitted with a traffic light, which helps remove the lack of visibility around the bend. Not a suitable place for anyone who is infirm or disabled due to several flights of stairs. For our taste, the bed was quite hard.

The check in was effortless and well organized, Gustav was so welcoming and very pleasant. Location was great, Gustav guided us to a lovely Italian restaurant for dinner just around the corner. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. The view is spectacular and the breakfast was delicious. All in all a great experience and we will for sure be back. Nothing at all. Maybe breakfast could be until a bit later, but really nothing to improve:)

So much peace and tranquility, I loved Gustav most of all, he welcomed us warmly from entry everything was well organized he checked in if we were happy at all times I felt so refreshed and rebooted when I left. The breakfast was amazing My boyfriend had his own diatry requirements and the stuff went out of their way to accommodate him at breakfast. The view from the rooms is to die for the city lights at night time was amazing honestly it was heaven . For everytime I visit bloem they can definitely count on my booking my boyfriend and I even agreed to have our honeymoon there. I loved everything about it

• Joshua (9/5): Comfortable room with a view! - Amazing view over Bloemfontein! Nice quiet and comfortable layover in Bloemfontein. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we had a small issue with the aircon and sorted it out immediately. Had a lovely dip in the pool. The breakfast was delicious. Wouldn't recommend for small children or people with mobility issues. But definitely recommend for everyone else. Pool was a bit tricky to get in and out of. A small step would be great.

I have been booking with them for the whole year when having to go write my exams , they made sure I was comfortable, would give me juice and fruit cocktail for me to drink and eat while I study overnight. It felt like I was always going home to my other parents. I will definitely say this is the best place I’ve stayed ever since I started being a regular visitor in Bloem. The views are to die for , best rooms are the balcony ones or the double room upstairs😊 Nothing

My partner loved it but unfortunately, we couldn't extend our stay because it was booked out for the following night. The host, Gustav waited up for us past the check-in time and even assisted with getting a place to grab a late dinner.
