The view from the terrace overlooking the entire Camps Bay and the iconic Lion's Head is simply priceless – I doubt there is a better view anywhere else in the area. What we loved: • The Views: This is the main reason to stay here. Watching the scenery directly from your room or the terrace is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. • The Staff: Everyone was very kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. • Cleanliness & Breakfast: The rooms were kept perfectly clean, and the breakfast was more than sufficient for a great start to the day. • Location: Perfect base for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding coastline. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for the most breathtaking scenery in Camps Bay! It is true that some parts of the property are starting to show their age and could benefit from a bit of renovation. However, considering the overall beauty and vibe of the hotel, it's a minor detail.

Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk, behulpzaam en deskundig. Deze plek en het personeel overtreffen je verwachtingen. Alles was top. Geen enkel minpunt te benoemen.

The property is breathtaking and beautiful. The pictures do it very little justice. They offer breakfast every morning and it was very tasty. The property was extremely clean and quiet. It’s situated in a very convenient location, we opted to uber everywhere and the drivers had no problem finding the hotel. I can’t wait to visit Sea Star Rock againnnnn!!!!!

- Tobias (10/5): Ein luxuriöser Rückzugsort mit traumhafter Aussicht, perfektem Service und Wohlfühlambiente - Die Lage ist unschlagbar: ruhig, exklusiv und trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand oder in der Stadt. Das Design des Hotels ist modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich, mit vielen liebevollen Details. Besonders gefallen haben mir der offene Wohnbereich, die freistehende Badewanne im Zimmer und die entspannte Atmosphäre. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist spektakulär – ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Es gab ehrlich gesagt kaum etwas, das uns nicht gefallen hat. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, sollte bedenken, dass man zur Hauptstraße runterfahren muss – aber das ist kein echter Nachteil, eher ein Hinweis zur Orientierung.

Felix, who was on the reception desk, went out of his way to accommodate me. They didn’t have low fat milk, the very next day they got it in. I was brought breakfast to my room every morning. The property needs a face lift. Linen especially the towels needs replacement. The throw and scatter cushions on our bed was not great quality. Looked liked it was bought around Mr Price. Definitely not what you would expect to find in a ‘boutique hotel’. Chairs in breakfast area also needs an update.

They just can’t do enough for you. Felix the manager is really helpful at recommending places and looking after you. The other staff are always pleasant and willing to go out of their way to help We enjoyed long days by the lovely pool looking down on Camps Bay then walks to the beach. Amazing restaurants nearby and about 30 mins drive to CBD There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like

- Anna-lena (10/5): Exceptional - Staying at Sea Star Rocks was the best decision we could possibly have made during our trip to Cape Town. Not only was the checkin (even though it was late at night) the nicest I've had in a long time, but also the facilities and service were exeptional at all times . Starting the day with a nice cup of coffe in the room while enjoying the amazing view off our private balcony was just truly amazing. Normally, we don't have a big breakfast but upon seeing the various buffet options and hot menue items, we regretted only staying at the hotel for one night. My/our expectations were not only met but surpassed in any way possibe. Thank you to the entire team that made sure to remember our stay with you when thinking back on our trip!
- Thabiso (1/5): What you see on the website it’s not reality, crap place - I liked nothing, the place it’s a dump. Pictures you see on the website must be 20 years old. It smell like puke. The area itself looks dodgy, like it’s some sort of a brothel. People around and cars parked around, they seem like they abduct people. The place itself looks old, furniture is old, place is smelly, the caretaker is also a chef, a receptionist all in one. There is a lady that sleeps in a room on the dining room floor area, a room looks like a store room but she sleeps there with all the bedding and towels full in there. I was told to engage with her when I have issues during the night, my TV was not working, I went to ask for help, she couldn’t help. What I saw there its traumatic

Every aspect of our stay at Sea Star Rocks was exceptional, and the staff? Pure world-class! It’s like they all woke up on the right side of the bed, wearing smiles that lasted all day. Super helpful too! Now, let me rave about the breakfast—it was out of this world! And Anna, our waitress, deserves a special shoutout. Her blend of professionalism and friendliness was unmatched. Honestly, she might just be the best waitress I've ever encountered. This was my first time at Sea Star Rocks, but it certainly won’t be my last. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
- Adagala (8/5): Quite an experience! - The location is great for anyone looking to pull away from the busy city centres. The views are phenomenal, the beds are so comfortable and the accommodation is quite secure. Breakfast was also quite delicious and always freshly prepared. It is easy to get an uber to and from the location as well. Loved the in-room spa option! No room slippers were available. There was no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner. Guests can however uber-eats or go out for lunch/dinner if they want. A few minor things were not working well in the room - some switches and the fireplace in my unit for example - but this was raised and hopefully next time 100% of the boxes will be ticked! Overall it was a great stay and would come back.
