- Richard (9/5): Lovely picturesque stay in the heart of Simon's Town - The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The view was great and the loaction was very convenient. The room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast was wonderful. The weather was abnormally hot whilst we were there so an air conditioner in the room would have been very welcome but the fans did help to cool the room down a bit.

- AB (9/5): A slice of heaven in Simon's Town - I chose The Grosvenor Guest House for the view, but it exceeded my expectations with everything else as well. The owner and staff, especially Jonathan were so helpful. It was great to have a parking spot and the unit was gorgeous, equipped with everything one may require. If one wishes to self-cater, that would be easy as the kitchen is small but also equipped with the essentials. The garden not only offers a pool, but but several private spaces - all with the view. Breakfast offered a delicious and wide variety. I would love to return. The house is very close to shops and restaurants, but away from the hustle and bustle. Nothing comes to mind.

My room, the staff, breakfast, the welcome sparkling wine - all made for a lovely stay. Close to town centre via a set of stairs, quiet surroundings and a lovely pool with cool (not bath temperature) water. Highly recommend. Nothing to not like, it was everything as described on booking.com ✅

The location is great and close to Simon's town center. Keep in mind that there are plenty of stairs if you are doing this on foot. The house is also closeby to clean and nice beaches, including those ones where you can see the Pinguins.

There was a tuctuc for 60 rand each way down to the town. There was a takeaway service if you wanted an evening meal. Really close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. Highly recommended!

Sue and Jonathan made us feel very much at home. They allowed us to leave our bags at the property before check in and also after check out. The room is huge, airy with a wonderful comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea making facilities. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat - a wonderful view and a delicious selection of hot and cold breakfast items to enjoy. Very good coffee too. Free parking in a secure location. We were made to feel so comfortable and well looked after. I only wish we'd had more time there to enjoy it all!! Also very close to Boulders Beach and walking distance in to the cute town. The one thing they do not advertise is the beautiful view at night with the Moon on your balcony . everything you could need was available , will definitely be adding them to my list of returns :)

There are some going up to the property from street level but if you decide to take the short cut walking down to the town, there are lots 😩

- Kathleen (10/5): Cozy waterfront view guest house - This is a nice house situated on the hill in Simon's Town. Very clean and the staff provided laundry service and tidied up daily. The view was spectacular and was waterfront. Our family highly recommends this guest house.

- Ingrid (10/5): - This guest house was exactly what we were hoping for — quiet, convenient, easy, and relaxing. Room was very clean and comfortable, with nice amenities. Onsite parking so appreciated. The included breakfast was robust and very good, and enjoyed with a great view. Loved that we could easily walk to the Main Street, restaurants, to Boulders Beach for penguins; and it is an easy drive to the national park. Jonathan and staff were welcoming, very helpful and accommodating. We would have loved to stay longer …
- John (10/5): Excellent guest-house with great service and lovely views. - Everything well-appointed.One large bedroom had a magnificent view and its own balcony with outdoor sofa, the other smaller bedroom had little view but a magnificent bathroom with its own small balcony and view. Excellent breakfasts. A good choice of continental and cooked breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and cereal, toasts eggs, etc. on a veranda with a wonderful view of the Bay. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Door knobs in the smaller bedroom had protruding screws, a potential danger of scratching ones arms. This was reported to staff and will no doubt be fixed.

- Gabriella (10/5): We recommend this B&B to anyone looking for an authentic stay in Simon's Town. - The Grosvenor Guest House is exactly what you think of when you imagine a cosy bed and breakfast. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived early, breakfast was delicious. This is a cute, quaint, B&B with two welcoming hosts at a great location.
