• Renee (4/5): Good enough for a work room, but lacks comfort after a long day. - The staff was really friendly. Location was great for work, as well as the price for my stay. I didn't need much from the cleaning staff, I bring my own everything, but they did a great job with trash and tidying my room. The kitchenette was ideal for my stay, but the cookware was in dire need of replacing. I bought new stuff while I was there. The futon was also broken so I had to use a lawn chair!

• neeleshg2026 (2/5): Worst Check out experience ever in Howard Johnson Hotel - I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. Prior to arrival, I called the front desk and was clearly informed that I would be able to store my luggage for a few hours after check-out. Based on that assurance, I planned my stay accordingly. However, upon check-out, the front desk associate, Alana, refused to allow us to store our bags. She repeatedly questioned who had given us that information instead of addressing the situation professionally. Her tone was rude, and when we tried to ask a few questions, she ignored us and continued working on her computer, which felt very disrespectful. Eventually, she contacted her manager, Chelse, who initially also denied the request. After further discussion, we were told we could leave our bags in the front area but entirely at our own risk. While I understand liability policies, it was unclear why a safer, more appropriate space could not be offered. What was most disappointing was the lack of professionalism and basic customer service. Despite multiple requests, no manager came to speak with us. To make matters worse, while we were still present, the associate appeared to speak negatively about us over the phone with a manager, which was extremely unprofessional. The only reason we booked another night at this hotel was because we had important work to attend to and needed a place to store our luggage. This experience completely undermined that. I have stayed at other Days Inn locations before and never encountered such behavior. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I would not consider booking with Wyndham again.

• ryanaM5460KG (10/5): Great Stay - I had a great experience staying at the Howard Johnson. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and ready to assist with anything needed. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in keeping the property in shape although older and providing excellent customer service. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay!
• Glen (6/5): - Good hot water, lots of water pressure. Great location, quite area. A few breakfast snacks and pasties, very nice staff, coffee was fresh and hot. Nice sized fridge with good sized freezer. Parking area was good and vehicles where right outside room door,we stayed 3 days. Beds where very old, very few plug-ins for electronics, computer,phones,lap tops, Floors on one end of room where on a very bad angle...foundation must have had bad footings. So bad we had to turn around in our beds ,as blood rushed to our heads. Room had issue with oversized rolling chair with arms on chair would not fit under desk and stick out so much you had just over 12 " to walk by bed, had no room to pass chair, needed to move chair up against exit door to pass desk to use the washroom. I had stay at motel 2 months ealier and had no issues in a different room closer to the main street.

• connie (2/5): - Room was srinky and damp. No coffee in the room. Floors were dirty, my feet were black. Beware they charge $50 extra for any dirty dishes. The sign was tucked behind the microwave. For the price i felt it was unexpectable.

• elizabethCanada (2/5): Look elsewhere - Don't stay here, parking lot was horrendous if on a motorcycle, communication difficulties with the person who checked us in, breakfast area not in use, room didn't have side table lamps, didn't have a fridge but had a microwave? Bed was not comfortable (old maybe I suspect) pillows were flat and lumpy, needed repairs in the bathroom, no coffee machine in the rooms or at the front desk we had to walk in the rain to the nearest gas station to get coffee and ice!! Definitely wouldn't stay again and strongly recommend people just pass this place up. Definitely not up to the usual Wyndham standard. Only good part was the Italian restaurant across the road!

Finally a gentleman showed up and was wanting to take a copy of every person in our party’s ID, which I had never seen before at any hotel I have stayed at. The room was dirty. The floor had very clearly not been cleaned.

She was helpful, respectful and understanding. The rooms are way nicer than I remember. Parking still stinks but it’s an older motel. AMAZING beds and comfortable. Will come back :)

I left my door open while eating one night and the staff member came to check I was ok, that I hadn't left my door open by mistake. I thought that was very kind.

Called the number on the door and went to voicemail. I called 2 hours later and person who answered just said hi. I had to ask if this was the hotel. Front staff friendly though. Would not stay here again.

• chunky (4/5): - nitially, I was given a room where someone had parked their car, so they had to move me to another room to accommodate the parking. Upon entering the new room, I noticed that the electrical switchboard was broken, with some wires exposed. The bathtub, shower rod, and shower head were also damaged, and there was no Wi-Fi available. In the morning, the breakfast offered was only continental, consisting of fruit, muffins, and coffee, although their advertisement on Expedia promised a full breakfast, which I found misleading.

I wiped the ring in the tub with the bath mat and it turned black where it touched the filthy tub! The bathroom window was a single pane on one side with a dirty stick shoved in the corner diagonally which obviously served no purpose! I took pictures to put on fb to warn others! This is by far the dirtiest motel I have ever seen! Even the plugins were grimy and not what you would touch without gloves! The noice was unbearable, some guy sitting out by my door smoking and the smoke was coming in my room I had to shut the door every time I brought an item in the place! I am over the roof disgusted with this dirty place and a health inspector needs to look at this place and condemn it !!!

• Lisa (4/5): - It is February and minus 25 but the heaters in the room were not working well. The room was cold and we were told the maintenance man was trying to fix them. Maybe they shouldn’t have rented the room out if the heat wasn’t working properly. I had to get blankets from my vehicle to stay warm. Will not stay again.

If you are looking for a cheap place to rest when passing through it would do but lots of homeless and addicts in the area.

Also the shower in the washroom is not leaking water. Walls are scratched and some paint are peeled off. Overall the place is horrible.
