The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. There was another bedroom but the bed had not been made up. The facility had the bed in the main living area and the bedroom had a bed in it but was not made up.

• Peter (8/5): Peacefull and confortable - Sharon, the receptionist, gave exceptional service; she was very helpful and efficient. Sharon made sure we were comfortable, and the air conditioner was working for us. We liked the space, we had room to move in this villa. A walk to the river at night gave a beautiful view of the city all lit up. Did not dislike anything. The villa is older but had everything you needed and the bed was clean and comfortable.

• Robyn (8/5): Good value overnight stop in Rocky - Very comfortable cabin, lovely grounds and the pool was a hit with our grand kids. Good cooking facilities and when the sandflies became a pest we were able to come inside and use the air con. This was very good value for money.

We had to dust off the mattress and take it out from the room just so my son is able to sleep as he and his dad were sneezing badly from the dust. The AC unit is dusty also.

The only thing i did not was both of the cabins were very dusty, stove top greasy and all the light switches had greasy finger marks. The toilet, shower and bed linen were all clean.

Also had an issue with controlling the hot water in the shower. This has never happened before, and I have stayed in this cabin several times. But not for a couple of years.

Not as clean as it should be, thick dust on the bedside lamps and fan above the kitchen, mould in the bathroom, sticky table. Also the cleaner was hovering wanting me to leave so I left earlier than anticipated

• Benson (6/5): 3 Night Business Stay - It was relatively inexpensive and reasonably close to work. Room was very private due to the layout and vegetation. I was close to the entrance. Pool was clean, although did contain a lot of leaves. Ants kept invading the toilet roll and making it their home, wet hand towel left on back of door form previous occupant. Reported both to receptionist and was advised to use the spray under the sink (none there) and that she would let the cleaners know next time to check behind the door in the future. No offer to remove the towel. No security gate on entry like two others I have stayed at. No much in the way of sealed roads or pathways - mostly gravel. Batteries in Foxtel unit had corroded and left it unusable. Unit was mostly clean, although some areas (like chairs and shower (hair) and bathroom wall - some dirtiness in places) could have been better.

• Rollin (1/5): Senseless greed - I never got to stay at Riverside tourist park. Booking.com accepted our booking even tho the reception is hours were long over. This made us think the reception would be open oriiu! By some system in place at least so we could access our room after hours so we confirmed the booking and called a cab to take us there. We waited almost 2 hours and no taxi arrived to pick us up. After 2 hours we gave ups for b my free 5u get We very to to hinsbooking me comand rented scooters to take us there. We arrived to find the place closed and numerous calls to the after hours office number yielded no response we gave up and tried to find other accomodations. So after all this time, expense and insect attack we had nowhere to stay. I blame Booking.com totally for this debacle. What was the point of accepting our booking hours after the reception has closed? A total cash grab by booking.com. I have not checked to see if you took my money or not. U better not have again III tell u now. I have only been involved with booking.com a short time now and absolutely hate the entire Company top to bottom. This is not the first time booking.com has ripped us off and taki Booking.com

• Jen (9/5): The location was off to the side off the Fitzroy Bridge there is a Subways a few minutes drive for easy access. - It was close to shops The cabin was very big compared to some cabins we have been in Value for money Cabin was surrounded by trees and shrubs very nice Had a few ants in the bathroom and kitchen but it had been raining a lot so that may be why the ants were there
• David (6/5): Rockhampton Stopover - It was enough for what we needed for the night. Bed was comfortable and cabin was clean. Arrived after reception hours so didn't get to meet any of the staff but we received a very detailed message of what to do when we arrived, that was very helpful. Cabin a little difficult to find especially when dark, bigger and better signage required. Our cabin itself needs some renovation, can feel it shaking when walking through. The front door is peeling apart at the bottom, makes awful noise everytime you open it.
