• Amy (9/5): - The location is 15km from Ringlet but the roads leading to the Rainforest Inn are in good condition and not winding. The staff waited for us at the entrance and brought us to our hut, he then waited for us to finish dinner and show us around. We are happy with the service but just need to take note that the location is not in Ringlet but 15km away. The waterfall next to our stay is so beautiful! We love it! Location is not in Ringlet but 15km away! Plan your trip based on the shared location and not the address!

• Anneen (9/5): Awesome experience - This place was a really cool experience. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is beautiful and the meals are excellent. We also really enjoyed a guided hike in the rain forest. Mosquitoes. Bring repellant.

De familie geeft extra informatie/demonstratie over de traditionele manier van jagen, je kunt meehelpen om de traditionele maaltijd welke wordt geserveerd, te bereiden en het is zeker aan te raden om een jungletrek bij te boeken. Tijdens de trek worden maïskolven en eitjes op het vuur bereid. Het zwemmen in het riviertje met de waterval is ook erg leuk en verfrissend. Als je maar 1 nacht verblijft, raad ik aan direct om 14 uur in te checken, zodat je voldoende tijd hebt om van alles te kunnen genieten.

The food was just amazing, the staff was super nice and helpfull. We learned a lot about the native live in the jungle. Oh and the river, kids were in it the whole time, didn’t want to leave.

L'initiation aux flechettes par Mui a été un moment très sympathique par toute la famille. L'endroit est merveilleux, au calme, avec une nature luxuriante. La cuisine est absolument excellente, variée et faite maison. Pour l'accessibilité, nous sommes arrivés en bus à Tana ratah et Gee Tatt nous attendait au terminal, donc organisation très simple! Je recommande ++++. Ce fut notre coup de ❤️ de notre voyage.

• Esther (10/5): Traumhafte Unterkunft in schönster Natur - Uns hat hier einfach Alles sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage mitten im Dschungel und in schönster Natur ist traumhaft. Man wohnt in einer sehr gemütlichen und einfachen Hütte bzw Bungalow und kann jederzeit den Geräuschen der Natur lauschen. Alle sind wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert, es war so persönlich. Wir hatten einen Krankheitsfall und sind dadurch viel im Gespräch gewesen und wurden fürsorglich behandelt. Das Essen ist auch richtig lecker und besonders und es macht Spaß, den Erklärungen von Gee dazu zuzuhören. Es war eine unglaubliche tolle Erfahrung und hoffentlich können wir irgendwann zurückkommen. • Claudia (10/5): Wer Natur mag, der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen, abseits der Touripfade. - Die Lage ist ein Traum, Gee war sehr freundlich, hat uns viele tolle Tips gegeben und viel zu der Natur erzählt. Autentisches lokales Essen, kleiner Bereich zum Baden, die Unterkunft hat durch die Bauweise eine schöne natürliche Durchlüftung Einziges Manko ist die Lautstärke des Wasserfalls - ist aber eben die tolle Natur und mit geht auch das :-)

• David (8/5): - Un lieu en pleine nature, entouré d’arbres et bordé par une petite rivière, idéal pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et l’authenticité. Le logement est volontairement très simple : une petite cabane en bois, une douche, un matelas au sol avec moustiquaire. Rien de luxueux, mais une expérience brute et dépaysante, loin des standards urbains. L’environnement est paisible, sans fioritures, parfait pour se reconnecter à la nature. Une petite amélioration pourrait être apportée au rangement de quelques affaires ici et là en extérieur afin de rendre l’ensemble encore plus soigné, mais cela n’enlève rien au charme global du lieu. Le gérant est très sympathique et passionné : il prend le temps de faire découvrir différentes variétés d’arbres et de feuilles, ce qui est enrichissant et intéressant. Le dîner du soir est excellent et, à mon sens, indispensable car il n’y a rien aux alentours. La cuisine locale est savoureuse et fait partie intégrante de l’expérience. Petit déjeuner trés bien. En soirée, l’équipe propose des activités originales comme le tir à la sarbacane ou la découverte de techniques de chasse traditionnelles des peuples autochtones, ce qui ajoute une dimension culturelle très appréciable. En résumé, un hébergement simple mais chaleureux, idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent s’éloigner des logements classiques et vivre une expérience au cœur de la nature.
• Tomas (10/5): - Gee is a helpful host supporting all logistics before/during/after our stay. We stayed with teo kids (9 and 11) and had fantastic experience in Rain Forest Inn. Definitely recommend to stay here close to jungle and far away from beaten tracks full of tourists.

• Maximilian (10/5): - We had a really nice time and really enjoyed our stay there! The location of the huts / restaurant is just utterly beautiful, with a nice waterfall / river / cascades going through the whole property. There are plenty of options for relaxing, reading a book and just enjoying the time in the jungle (i.e. multiple hammocks with nice views, a raft in a little pond, etc.)! Food wise, you can have a very tasty and local dinner mostly with lots of greens, vegetables, a soup, fish or chicken, sweet potatoes, rice, etc. Same goes for the breakfast, which is changing regularly - perfect way to experience the local kitchen. In general, I have to point out the hosts who are very accommodating and happy to explain practices of the native population regarding food, hunting, life, etc. but also recent developments in the region. We were also picked up from ringlet and transport to Georgetown / Kuala Lumpur was arranged aswell for us. Activities can also be arranged if you want (i.e. 4h Jungle Trekking) - again very straigthforward and easy going :) In case I'm in the area again, I'll definitly come back! 100% recommend it! Nothing!

• Einheimler (10/5): - The staff is amazing. The owner super helpful and very nice, recommended tours. We did the 4h jungle trekking tour with native tour guide, including lunch on camp fire and explanation of plants. The dinner (40/pax) and breakfast is especially authentic and the owner explains everything I'm detail. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. The owner even helped us organise transportation to Langkawi very spontaneously. We highly recommend it if you want to have a unique jungle experience.

We also very much enjoyed the local breakfast and dinner. The staff was also very helpful and kids-friedly. They organised a whole day tour for us and a hike into the rainforest including campire with roasted corn. Absolutely amazing!
• Lisan (9/5): Heel leuk verblijf gehad - Heel leuke ervaring om zo middenin de jungle te slapen. Accomodatie was heel eenvoudig, maar dat is precies wat we zochten. De kinderen hebben zich enorm vermaakt met het vlot en de waterval. Gee is heel behulpzaam en wil je alles vertellen over de gebruiken van de mensen die er wonen. We hebben een heel leuke tijd gehad! Veel muggen, maar dat hoort bij de jungle.

Location isn’t an issue at all as absolutely everything can be covered from the accommodation. A bonus little swim in the river after a short walk was looovely. Unique experience and one we won’t forget! Cameron highlands main town is honestly not a place you want to stay, as tourism has destroyed it.

There is a clear river to bathe in, hammocks around the compound and a nice terrasse. During your stay you will gain insight into the local natives hunting tactics, useful plants and typical foods. • Sieb (9/5): - Je gaat echt back to basics maar dat maakt het juist zo leuk en avontuurlijk. Midden in de jungle slapen! De hut waarin we sliepen had 4 "slaapkamers" en is de 1e hut die gebouwd is. De gastheren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We waren met de bus een heel stuk doorgereden richting Cameron Highlands maar dat was geen enkel probleem. Binnen half uur werden we opgehaald door de zoon van de eigenaar. Eten is zeer autentisch en lekker, alles gemaakt van verse producten. We hebben die 2 dagen dat we er waren echt genoten van alles!

• Carolyn (10/5): Charming traditional bamboo hut accommodations - This place is amazing! It's a super cute indigenous type accommodation with bamboo huts, mosquito netting, and a really awesome outdoor eating/relaxation area right next to a waterfall. Not only do they make traditional local food for you for both dinner and breakfast, but they also make it in the traditional ways. And they give you a blowdart lesson! We also hired a local guide to take us on a 4-hour jungle trek around the property, which was harder than expected, but so amazing! This was so much more relaxing than staying in town, really glad we stayed here for two nights!!

But it’s comfortable, the huts are well ventilated with the native materials and build, and with a fan going, we were good. It was cool sleeping to the sounds of the jungle. The host was great, and the dinner and breakfasts were both great. I loved sitting by the little waterfall. This place is a gem if you want an authentic experience learning about to Orang Asli.
• francesca (9/5): Esperienza fantastica - Esperienza fantastica in una location unica per riscoprire la natura più vera in un'area, le Cameron Highlands, che ormai di genuino non ha più molto. Si dorme in capanne su palafitte, si mangia cibo tradizionale su una terrazza di bambù affacciata sul torrente, si dorme cullati dallo scrosciare dell'acqua e dai suoni della foresta, è possibile fare il bagno sotto una cascatella da fiaba e fare passeggiate nella foresta pluviale accompagnati da guide che, come il personale, vengono dal villaggio vicino (non sempre parlano inglese). Le capanne sono piuttosto basic ma offrono tutto il necessario e alcune hanno il bagno privato. Non c'è wifi nè copertura per i cellulari non malesi. Si è circondati dalla foresta pluviale, ma la civiltà non è lontana - se si dispone di un auto ci si può spostare facilmente per raggiungere le attrazioni della zona. Pulizia e manutenzione del bagno potrebbero essere migliorati.
• Bastiaan (9/5): Mooie plek weg van toerisme echt in de natuur! - 2 nachten verbleven. Prachtige locatie met hele vriendelijke en behulpzamers beheerders. Het eten was ook heerlijk, zowel ontbijt als diner. De huisjes waren basic maar helemaal prima en schoon. Ze hebben ook een wandeltocht voor ons geregeld met een plaatselijke gids die echt super was. Al met al was het een geweldige ervaring gehad op een fantastisch mooie plek die we niet hebben willen missen. niets

Il propose aussi des animations découverte du mode de chasse et surtout nous fait découvrir les plantes et leur bienfait, de la forêt aux alentours. C’est un hôte très accueillant qui aime partager sa passion. Les repas sur place sont merveilleux dans un cadre hors du commun.

Liever hier te verblijven dan in Cameron Highlands. Ideale plaats voor backpackers die graag wandelen en verblijven in een natuurlijke omgeving. Grote kennis over planten en dieren, je krijgt er ook blowpipe initiatie en kan eens meekoken. Niks.

Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni di relax, fatto il bagno bella cascata e mangiato la cena preparata dai nativi. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Non è un' esperienza per tutti, bisogna essere preparati a dormire nelle capanne e ad avere animali in camera. Ma noi lo sapevamo.
• Lilliluna (9/5): Einzigartige Erfahrung in wunderschöner Natur - Unvergessliches Erlebnis in wunderschöner Natur. Die Besitzer kümmern sich um alles und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Außerdem informieren sie sehr ausführlich zu diesem wunderbaren Lebensbereich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, auch wieder ganz speziell, was wir so noch nie gegessen haben. Der Besitzer hat uns abgeholt und auch zum Bus gebracht. War gar kein Problem. Wir hatten den 4 Stunden Hiking Trip mit Guide gebucht und auch das war eine absolut unvergessliche Erfahrung und absolute Empfehlung. Man sollte nur etwas Kondition und gute Schuhe mitbringen. • Andrea (9/5): - Abbiamo trascorso due giorni splendidi. Alloggio come ci aspettavamo nella capanna ampia e con due bei letto-materassi comodi. Bagni esterni puliti. Ma sopratutto ottime le due cene e le due colazioni con la cucina locale. Senza parlare poi del bagno nel fiume, delle lezioni di caccia aborigena e di cucina ai nostri due figli, oltre allo spiegarci tutto sulla natura che circonda il villaggio. Da parte nostra l’aver lasciato alcuni dei vestiti dei nostri figli ai bambini del villaggio ci ha fatto dare un piccolo grazie in più per lo splendido soggiorno. Nullq. Tutto perfetto
• Monica (9/5): Esperienza molto interessante, ma anche molto forte: non è per tutti - Le persone Le capanne sono su palafitte, ma può entrare qualsiasi animale. Noi abbiamo trovato un topolino nel letto.

• Natalie (10/5): Back to basics (glamping in raised bamboo huts!) ,friendly and informative staff - Tucked away, living and sharing the old traditions, cooked food in the traditional way and let the kids get involved. (The food was excellent!). Showed us how life used to be in the rainforest with their hunting methods and trap setting and how different plants have different uses. The bamboo river raft was great fun. We didn’t dislike anything!
• Charlotte (9/5): Overnachten midden in het regenwoud, fantastische plek en vriendelijk personeel! - Ontzettend mooie plek en vriendelijke host, die je van alles kon vertellen over de natuur en wat er in het regenwoud groeit en bloeit. Kamertje was net iets te klein om je spullen fijn neer te zetten.

• Natalia (10/5): - It was a great property in the jungle. The host was amazing, helped us with our day trips and onwards travel. The native food was great! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
• Maxi11111111 (10/5): - Das Hotel war bisher die beste Erfahrung auf unserer Reise. Es ist besonders Erlebnis in paradiesischer Umgebung. Das Essen war super lecker, insbesondere das Frühstück. Die Atmosphäre ist etwas ganz besonderes und erlaubt es, den Dschungel aus nächster Nähe zu erleben. Der Inhaber kümmert sich sehr zuvorkommend um alle Angelegenheiten und gibt von sich aus Vorschläge für Unternehmungen und organisiert sie gleich. Wir konnten einen Roller leihen und die Teeplantagen besichtigen, wobei wir gute Tipps für die besseren Ausflugsziele bekommen haben. Die Kommunikation war super. Die Abholung wurde ebenso organisiert, wie unsere Weiterfahrt mit dem Bus, direkt vom Hotel. Außerdem haben wir sehr die abendlichen Unterhaltungen mit dem Inhaber genossen, wodurch wir die malaische, chinesisch-manische und Eingeborenenkultur kennenlernen konnten. Man muss sich auf das Erlebnis einstellen. Für uns war es super, aber wer kein Camping mag, sollte eher auf den Aufenthalt verzichten (Tiergeräusche bei Nacht, offene Fenster, geteilte Toiletten, Insekten im Zimmer, ...)
• Marc (9/5): Fantastica y autentica estancia - El trato de todo el personal fue simplemente increíble, nos atendieron y asesoraron a la perfección con cada consulta. La ubicación es ideal, en medio de la selva pero a tan solo 15km del pueblo de Ringlet. En medio de un río donde te puedes refrescar después de un largo día. La comida estaba increíble, pero cada día era prácticamente lo mismo.

• lucie (10/5): Une escapade dans la nature - Nous étions avec nos deux enfants et nous avons été incroyablement accueillis et ils ont organisé notre séjour :transfert depuis Ringlet, le circuit à Moussy Forest, et le départ depuis Tanah Rata. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et typiques. Les enfants se sont éclatés dans la rivière,un vrai petit paradis! C’est un cocoon en pleine nature
• Hugo (10/5): Magnifique immersion dans la nature - L’immersion dans la forêt est juste incroyable, le lieu est super ! Tout est bien entretenue (jardin,cabane..) Lit confortable. Dîner et petit déjeuné exceptionnel et généreux. Je conseil à tout le monde Pas de repas proposé le midi. Pas de gel douche dans les douches penser à amener le votre.

• alessandra (9/5): - Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo lo staff, discreto ma sempre pronto per ogni evenienza. Ci siamo sentiti attraverso wapp il giorno prima e quando siamo arrivati in auto al punto dell'appuntamento in 5 minuti sono arrivati per mostrarci l'ultimo pezzo di strada, tutta asfaltata in mezzo alla foresta. Abbiamo cenato da loro con prodotti locali e la cena ci è piaciuta moltissimo. Siamo a 1500 m e non c'è caldo, abbiamo dormito bene. I bagni sono esterni alla capanna spartani ma funzionali. Siamo rimasti due notti e la colazione è cambiata nei due giorni, sempre con prodotti locali. Ci hanno mostrato alcune attività e piante locali. Per noi che viviamo in città circondati dal cemento è stato un piacevole soggiorno. Consigliatissimo agli amanti della natura.

• Nicolas (10/5): Un lieu exceptionnel à ne pas manquer ! - Notre meilleur hébergement en Malaisie. Inscrit dans un joyau de verdure, et avec pourtant un confort exceptionnel pour un hébergement "roots". Accueil très chaleureux. Repas traditionnel bon. Rien.
• Malik (8/5): - Séjour dépaysant, e pas oublié que les chalets sont situés au plus près de la jungle. Voir si c'est possible de varié les repas du soir.
• Cyrielle (10/5): - Superbe lieu où rester pour une ou deux nuits. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour les invités et donne de très bons conseils pour visiter les alentours. Le lieu est en pleine nature donc il ne faut pas être trop exigeant sur la propreté, par exemple, nous avons eu la visite d'une grenouille dans notre cabane, cela reste un bon souvenir! Nous avons vraiment apprécié le dîner (en supplément), le petit déjeuner ainsi que le lieu de baignade dans la rivière. L'environnement est très calme et il y a une belle cascade proche de l'endroit pour les repas.
• Hortense (10/5): Une belle parenthèse dans la nature - J’ai beaucoup aimé le type d’habitation traditionnel et le fait d’être vraiment dans la nature près de la cascade. Le personnel m’ a bien accompagné pour les activités à faire sur place. Les repas ( petit déjeuner et dîner) étaient vraiment bons et généreux.

• Gwendolyn (10/5): Echt genieten op een prachtige plek bij lieve mensen - Geweldige locatie, afgelegen, idyllisch en heel authentiek. De hitten zijn heel simpel, maar schoon en dankzij de klamboe heb je een insectenvrij bed. Overal zijn hangmatten, je kunt heerlijk opfrissen in het riviertje, de begroeiing is weelderig en kleurrijk, de mensen zijn supervriendelijk, het eten is overvloedig en lekker. We kregen uitleg over jacht technieken en eetbare en anderszins bruikbare planten. Echt een top plekje.

The rooms were very basic, but were clean and well functioning. We can definately recommend a stay at Rain Forest Inn if you want to explore Cameron Highlands

• Johannes (10/5): Unvergessliches Erlebnis - Tolle Erfahrung fernab der Touripfade der Cameron Highlands. Durften beobachten wie klassisches Essen zubereitet wurde, es war köstlich. Demonstration von Fallen und Blasrohrschießen. Ein kleines Floß am Wasserfall war eine tolle Spielmöglichkeit für die Kinder. Haben eine zweistündige Tour mit einem einheimischen Guide durch den Dschungel gemacht, wunderschön!
• Nicolas (9/5): Cabane en bambou à côté d'une cascade - Havre de paix dans une zone hyper touristique, une piscine naturelle, un logement original et confortable, petit déjeuner local très savoureux, le dîner du soir, copieux, est à faire, l'hôte est très attentif et donne beaucoup d'informations et nous a aidé à organiser notre visite, Repas à 18h
• Onno (9/5): Geweldige locatie en super vriendelijk personeel! - Authentiek ontbijt en diner, met uitgebreide uitleg over de verschillende gerechten. Rustige locatie, ‘s nachts wel veel dierengeluiden uit de jungle. De matrassen gaven weinig comfort
