Your hotel was very reasonably priced so we picked it. at arrival I was happy to see there was pool and hot tub, then found out there was a restaurant and bar which was a bonus. We tried the pool facilities and they were clean and large enough for us to do aquafit exercises. $5 breakfasts also up to par. It's hard to control the AC to a level of comfort despite having it set on low or auto fan. But generally, it was very livable.

Camilla (6/5): Location and pool great, however needs to do a deep clean of stained items and fix the bath tub. - The pool was great exercise for my 2 children who were couped up for hours in the car driving. It was just off the highway making it a good location to stop sleep and move on the next day. The man who checked us out was friendly even at 530 in the morning. The bath tub leaked when I showered left us with a puddle in the bathroom and enterance. There were stains all over the room lamp shade and curtains. The women who checked us in was crabby and not friendly, she seemed ready to snap at my 8 year old who was over stimulated and has ADHD and wanted to press the bell. She snatched it away before she could and rolled her eyes at her. I felt uncomfortable having my children near her while i checked in.

Tim (6/5): - The bathroom fan was so loud it was unusable (I'm an early riser and did not want to wake my wife, which that fan would certainly have done) When we went to use the coffee pot, we found a coffee bag still in it from the last time it had been used, and that bag had not been replaced on the tray. The staff were very good, but the room was not in acceptable condition and the previous cleaning had not been thorough.
Tina-Marie (6/5): A hotel for smokers - We booked a non smoking room, I think just the first floor is non-smoking. As soon as you get to the elevators thats all you can smell is cigarette smoke, the hallways on the upper floors very strong smelling of cigarettes, the room wasnt as bad as the hallway, the room did smell strongly of cigarettes though. (smoking room). I think if your a smoker its a good place to stay, if not make sure you book the non smoking room cause, chancing it in a smokers room isnt gonna be worth it.

Willie (2/5): Thankfully it was quick. - The pool was nice but lacked signage Elevator panels falling off the walls, pool lacked signage and had hand towels for the towels for people to dry off with. They need a credit card even though it doesn’t state that on the actual website, and on booking it specifically says no credit card needed. I have stayed in a lot of hotels without having to use a credit card. To not have this stated on any accessible platform while booking a reservation then having a strict policy is ridiculous. People need to be made aware of this policy before they book. Staff member was slow and unkind on multiple occasions. Beds were very lumpy and rooms lamps and lights were not working and the ac was impossible to turn on.

Karen (8/5): Nice place to stay. - Room was clean, nice to have the fridge and microwave. The person at the front desk was super friendly when checking in. The bed was comfortable. The only negative were the pillows, very uncomfortable and small.

Willy (9/5): A better stay in Valleyview. - A great hotel with a pool, slide and hot tub. Staff were marvelous and the restaurant attached to the hotel had good food with monumental portions!! Don't have anything bad to say.
Scenic484805 (2/5): Worst experience ever - As we encountered inclement weather at Valleyview we were forced to find accommodations early evening. At the time the whole town was experiencing a disruption of internet service. I had just finished a four hour chemo treatment in Edmonton and was not feeling very well. We were told we could not be checked in because of the outage and we were denied the name and phone number of the manager upon request Our car was stuck in the parking lot of the hotel and we were told they had nothing to help us. To be turned away from this establishment was inconceivable. Other hotels in Valleyview experienced the same problems but found ways to accommodate travellers. I am totally appalled at the treatment we received and have passed my story on to many others.
