Kids are free this year. Coffee isnt put out until 9am, We are early risers and like to get our day started. No coffee pots were available for in room use.

We were there for a weekend vacation and were able to walk to the beach, the train station, and great restaurants in Point Pleasant Beach without needing to drive. Motel management focuses on quality of life improvements instead of just showy advertising and delivers great value and a comfortable experience.

Curtain did not close completely, did not know that staff comes in the room to change towels. Had to pay for parking while staying there, also rain flooded hallway no drainage. Also pool was dirty.

I walked there w - The motel staff were extremely well and the cleaning staff were always available and took good care of the unit I was in. The internet at this motel was constantly requiring restarting almost every 15 minutes and the password was changed every week. For my second week at the site, I just went to other sites to use their internet instead.

There are a lot of complaints about paying for parking but it is well worth $20 to know you have a spot within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk. Pool was nice and clean. Calling ahead to notify of arrival time was unusual although it did confirm that I could park and check in early.

• Samantha (5/5): Not the worst stay but - Close to the beach and boardwalk. Rooms were clean and maids came every day. Decent room. We always had fresh towels and they even folded our son's personal blankie and arranged his stuffed animals. Pool area has a lot of chairs and tables. Music by the pool was good. Coffee was good. Owners a d*&k. The women behind the desk were wonderful. If it wasn't for them I would have canceled my room. Pool area has a lot of cracks and holes in the cement. My son stepped on a few sharp pieces. Pool is not heated like stated. It was chilly and in the shade so you felt cold. They charge 20 dollars a day to park your car which should be included with the price spent per night. They also charge to use the pool and for the coffee and "muffins " in the morning. When in fact they weren't full muffin they were sliced in quarters for the whole hotel to share. The rooms were small. Not enough space for 2 adults and children's belongings plus miscellaneous items. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart but you can tell bits and pieces of the rooms have been renovated. Wasn't the worst shore hotel I've stayed at but it definitely needs improvement. The staff ( women at the desk ) were super nice and very attentive. I don't expect much from jersey shore hotels so this wasn't a terrible stay. Nicer rooms than others.

• Nancy (8/5): It worked for a few days for us - The motel is very simple but a great place to stay if you’re staying for a day or two or three, the staff was nice. The rooms were clean. The pool was nice, they allowed us to check in a little early, overall, I would stay there again for a couple of days and spend way less money than those big hotels The hotel is a little dated. They need to update it other than that no complaints.

No one got back to me about fixing it or giving me another room for 10 hours, then came and fixed it close to check out time going in and out a bunch of times preventing me from getting to the beach as early as I wanted. If they couldn't come at night when I was worried about more ceiling pieces falling on me, not sure why they couldn't wait until after check out instead of wasting 45 minutes of my morning. Also, there is free parking nearby. They charged me $40 more than what I was quoted on Booking, $18 of which was a parking fee. No one told me til the next morning when they advise you leave the lot early before check out, that I didn't need to use the lot at all and could've saved $18. No one responded to my complaints about the parking or the ceiling or my request for partial refund.

• Alfred (5/5): other than the air conditioning I have no complaints - close to the beach The thermostat controlled the air conditioning unit. It didn’t set lower than 68 degrees and it would constantly shut off. I kept waking up sweating.
