- David (10/5): - We wanted a nice, simple, quite mountain get-away, and that is what Corral Creek Lodge provided. Bed was clean and comfortable, location was just outside of town, and the river was close by. Very happy with our stay!

- Danielle (6/5): - The room was fairly clean, pretty standard. The major issue here is the noise. A very large group of people took over the common area, which happens to be right in front/below the rooms. I opened my door and the smoke from their bbq set off the fire alarm in the room it’s that close. They had a DJ and music played VERY loudly until after 11pm, and this was a Thursday night. This group seemed to be regulars there, so be aware.

- veronica (10/5): Great! - I booked this property last minute and for a quick mini getaway with my family. The plan was to visit Sequoia National Forest which was a quick 45 min drive from the hotel. Initially we wanted to go to Sequoia National Park, but learned that dogs are not allowed on any trails. The property is across the kern river and surrounded by breathtaking mountains. I loved that they are pet-friendly and that a kitchenette was available. They also have grills outside. My favorite part was sitting outside during sunset hours. Also, the kern river is across the street from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

They also have ax throwing and a horseshoe pit for fun. Only tiny downside was limited reception/channels with the Direct TV service. Overall 9 out of 10.

Only one issue was we realized that we had slept on an upside down mattress after already being there for 3 nights out of our 5 night stay. Once we flipped it from the spring side, it was comfortable. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. The trail of 100 giants is about 45 mins away. Would stay here again!

Great location for access to the Kern river and its distance from Kernville provided the quietness to enjoy the natural beauty in the early morning hours. Downside, The walls are thin and the night guests could be loud enjoying themselves around the outdoor grills, fire pit or horseshoe pit.

- Patrick (10/5): - My wife and our little dog stayed here for the last weekend in March. We really liked the kitchenette that allowed us to make & keep food/snacks with us for our daily excursions. I so appreciate a 12 cup coffee maker in the room that allowed me to use my own filters & coffee to enjoy whilst walking across the highway to sip by the river's edge. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It was nice to drive just 15 minutes to get a fresh hot pizza from town. We love exploring mountain roads and got as far as Poison Creek campground at 35.934845, -118.396905 then the snow/ice was too deep to continue to Big Meadow via Forest Route 22S12. That being said, we will stay here again in the future and bring steaks so we can grill on the deck. Thanks Corral Creek Lodge!

- Pamela (8/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the Corral Creek Lodge. The property exceeded our expectations considering the price we paid which was very budget friendly. Our only complaints (and these were slight) was the thin walls and the couple in the room next to us that got in a huge fight until well into the early morning hours. This was a fluke and, of course, outside of the hotel’s control. We thought it was a great touch that there were earplugs available at the front desk which we took advantage of the next couple of nights. The grounds were nicely kept and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The outdoor grills were awesome and we loved that the lodge was outside of town and in a private location right near River access. Beds were ok but for the price, totally acceptable. We will definitely stay here again!

- Artur (6/5): - The property was nice and clean, unfortunately during our 4 days stay at the Corral lodge the room never been serviced, more then that we noticed in the room a very small mouse. I notified the lodge management about the mouse, they put two mouse traps in the room, but never checked and never asked us about it. The mouse remained in our room till we checked out.

- Amber (10/5): - My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We chose it because of its location, nestled between the city of Kernville and the Sequoia National Park. From here we were able to visit Dome Rock and hike up to Nobe Young Falls, and Packsaddle Cave. The river across from Corral Creek Lodge is breathtaking and the staff were very friendly. Mrs. Tina was an angel who so kindly helped us out the couple of times we locked ourselves out of our rooms. The place was extremely clean and came with lots of amenities.
- Donald (10/5): - It’s one of my favorite places to stay when fishing the Kern River. Unfortunately someone built a Glamping business across the street that looks like a penal colony. Really sad for a nice hotel that had a view of the river valley and surrounding hills.

- Jason (8/5): - Cute lodge. The room was very clean and the kitchen had all the necessities which was wonderful, but bring pans if you’re going to cook because there are none. The walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors talk and were being very loud at some point with their child running back a fourth in their room. If it wasn’t for the thin walls and the noisy neighbors I would give this five starts for excellent.

- Heather (10/5): Nice lodge near Kernville - Nice location close to Kernville, very close to river. Clean. Easy parking. It was pretty quiet but I could definitely hear the people above me walking around. I would recommend requesting a room on the second floor. Would definitely stay here again!
- Eugene (8/5): - Aside from the drunk noisy neighbor for the one night we were there, the property is run by very friendly staff and is in a convenient location: within minutes from any day use area with river access as well as from the center of town. Cozy, clean, wi-fi, kitchenette (just open your windows when using stove), a/c. As long as your neighbors are quiet (walls are thin), you won't be disappointed.

The rooms have everything you need and the internet is fast. We bring our own Amazon fire stick to stream apps and it works wonderfully. All kitchens have enough dishes, utensils and necessities to make yourself a nice breakfast. All appliances are new and everything is clean and well maintained. Simple and perfect. I Highly recommend .
